"Not if we dont get caught," he chuckled, "Besides, i dont think any of the teachers actually check attendance, so theill never notice'

"Nope they never do...." he smiled as he drove slowing down, "This your place?" He asked pointing.

"Yup, thatd be it" He said with a grin.

"Okay!" He smiled pulling into the driveway.

Brendon's house was a relatively nice one with two floors with a little bit of a backyard that held a swing set from his childhood that had never been bothered to be moved, the smallest of driveways, and the tiniest of garages that could barely hold two. All things considered it was fairly plain, its poured blue siding even seemed to fade into the background.
Brendon stepped out of the car with a sigh, looking at the building he had spent almost his entire life in. Over the years it had become ugly to him, the outside never changed but the inside seemed more and more rotten as he got older. It was not a particularly abusive home but as he got older his parents became more impatient with him, as they already had plans for his future, the only problem was that he was not 'holding up his end.' This seemed to constantly make them angry, as well as the fact that their marriage was practically falling apart.
"Well, this is it," Brendon declared, unlocking the door with his spare key, "Its not all that great i guess"

"Better than what I grew up in..." Raf said softly as he stood next to him

"Hm...whered you grow up then?" He asked out of curiosity as he held the door open for him.

Rafiel went in looking down, "Near the food bank....in Allentown..." He said softly blushing embarrassed.

"Oh...do you still live there?" he asked.

"No...I haven't for a while...my mom and siblings do but not me..." He said smiling.

"Why dont you live with your family?" He asked, really curious now.

"I....I just don't..." Rafiel said. "Emancipated..." He explained with a sigh.

"Any particular reason why...or is that too personal for a first da-" Brendon said and cut himself off with a blush, "DAY BEING FRIEND WITH ME!?"
"Smoooothe kid," the cowboy said sarcastically.

Rafiel blushed darkly, "Ah...yeah...it's...a long story...." He frowned, "It's not important though..."

"Well if you want to talk about it I'm all ears," he said and closed the door behind them. The inside of the house was really nothing special, "People have been unloading on me all week. I have no idea why. So im definitely up to listening if you want. Or we could go watch The Dark Night or something."

"The Dark Night sounds good..." Rafiel said smiling gently as he looked at Brendon.

"Ill go set it up," he said and ran into the living room.

Rafiel giggled following after him slowly.

A few minuets later, after Brendon had set the movie up and made a grand bowl of popcorn for the two of them, the movie started.

Rafiel smiled happily as he took some popcorn happily. "I love this movie!"

"My dad hates it, says its too loud...But we all agree that Heath Ledger makes a bad ass Joker," He said with a grin and shoved a handful of popcorn down his thought.

Rafiel giggled, "Yes he does held the best!" Rafiel said lookig up at Brent with a grinn.

"Heheh," Brendon chuckled to himself as the Joker made the pencil disappear, "Heheh, Pencil..."

Raf giggled, "Brilliant!" He smiled feeling relaxed.

"Indubitably," Brendon said, looking over at Raf laughingly and wolfing down another handful of popcorn.
