"What? Did i snore? Really... Heck, I didn't even think that id SLEPT," He said with a chuckle and wiggled on over next to her to look at the note.
"Hm, so he has. He'd better bring us some muffins. BIG ONES," Lorry declared and thrust his arm around Mari's shoulder, "Nice glasses by the way. Alex used to have a pair of those, only in neon orange"

Mari chuckled a bit, "Thanks I call them Anderson James..." She said smiling a bit looking at Lorry, "Big muffins yes..." She said grinning.

Lorry scoffed a bit, "You named them? Nice"
He flopped down onto his bed again with a huff and looked up at her lazily. Brent chose that moment to open the door, sporting a Styrofoam cup of fresh hotel coffee. Immediately, Lorry sprung into action.
"WHERE ARE MY MUFFINS!?" He demanded, appearing angry, and making Brent jump at the sudden noise.
"Wh-What?" Brent shuddered.
"Muffins? DO you have them?" He asked.
"N-no...why would i?"
"A gift to THE GODS," As he signaled between Mari and himself.
"Fuck you, get your own muffins!" Brent snapped, making Lorry smile.
"Is he always this cranky in the morning?" Lorry asked Mari, clearly amused.

Mari chuckled nodding as she adjusted her glasses, "Yep..." She drawled lazily running a hand through her hair managing to spike it up a bit.

"Can we," Brent said, pausing as he sat down and took a drag of his coffee, "Hold...off a bit on the teasing me tirade for a bit? Because, I slept on the floor all night and I am very, very tired of this shit"
"Ohoho," Lorry chuckled and looked at Mari, quickly mouthing, 'Can i keep him?' before turning back to the younger boy.
"Look who grew a personality overnight! A bit prickly but I'll take it," Lorry purred.
"Oh shut up," Brent barked, "Stop pretend flirting with me. Your not charming, your just an ass."
"Who sais I'm pretending," Lorry said, rather seriously, tilting his chin up defiantly.
"Are you kidding me?" Brent scoffed, "Your an ass. And, just to derail your little, 'fuck with Brendons head' scheme. Right now, I'm a MILLION times more attracted to Mari because of those metrosexual glasses right now than you. MARI, A girl, and IM saying that,"
Lorry just grinned as Brent turned to face Mari.
"Sorry Mari, but you kind of look like a really, really gay dude," He said, not meaning any offense by it, "But thats ok, you still look like a girl just you know...fairymanish"

The reaction was nearly instiantantious. Her eyes narrowed darkly and she gritted her teeth as quickly moved standing up her back totally straight her muscles tensed as she stood in front of Brent and without pausing or speaking Rammed him full force into his face with a hard punch hitting right no his nose breaking it with a loud crack. Her eyes blazed as she brushed past him locking herself in the bathroom seething.

"HOLY!..." Lorry exclaimed as he jumped back about three feet as Mari suddenly lashed out. Brent fell back, clutching his nose in pain.
"Shiiit," Lorry added in disbelief as he looked between Mari and her.
"Ahhhhh, FUCK!" Brent wailed, and pulled his hand from his face only to see bright red blood starring back at him. He turned his, now very wide, blue eyes to face her, "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?"
"I Think its broken," Lorry pointed out, trying to get a good look at it.
"NO SHIT ITS BROKEN," Brent yelled briefly at him before turning back to Mari, "Seriously WHAT THE FUCK!?"

"BECAUSE I DON'T WANT A PENIS!" She yelled back her voice cracking a bit as she sank against the bathroom wall shaking.

Brent and Lorry just stared at her for a good minuet in sheer shock and disbelief.
"Wha...That...What does that have to do with ANYTHING!?" Brent squeaked out, "I mean, I didn't even IMPLY that you did! Jesus fucking christ...If i have to get a cast for this YOU ARE FUCKING PAYING FOR IT!?"
"Seriously Mari..." Lorry said, looking at her with shocked confusion, "What...What the heck?..."

Mari just let out a strange strangled sound and looked away, "Don't want to be a boy..." was all she muttered as she looked at them feeling a little guilty now for punching Brendon in the face, "Sorry..." She said softly.

"Youd better be," Brent hissed, "What the hell is wrong with you."
"Ok, everyone calm down, Brent, you need to have your nose looked at," Lorry said, trying to be calm.
"Yea..." He said, letting out a puff of air through his mouth with frustration.
"Here Ill take you," Lorry offered but Brent pushed him away.
"No, I'm fine going by myself thanks..." He grumbled and stormed out.

Mari looked away as she heard him storm out and frowned hugging her knees staring at the wall.

Lorry just looked down at her, still dumbfounded.
"Mari...Mari what in gods name were you thinking?..." he asked breathlessly, "What..what did he even say to provoke that?"

"I don't know Lorry… I just…am confused and he's not helping making comments like that…" She said taking her glasses off angrily looking at them.

"Mari...I make worse comments about that to people that I am far, FAR less acquainted to than you and Brent and as of yet...No one has punched me...well...in the last year," He said and quickly backtracked, "But thats not the point, the point is that...Mari...he didnt say anything THAT bad. He gave you the equivalent of...My, you look like you have a fohawk today...it wasnt...mean. And you yourself said that he was cranky in the morning. YOU told me that. So...what the fuck? What is so bad in your head right now that you would do that to him?"

"I shouldn't have…this is why I shouldn't lose my temper…he shouldn't have been punched…besides what in thinking is stupid and doesn't matter…" She said forcing her thoughts away from that. And the feelings, "I'll just vent to E…"

Lorry looked at her oddly, "You and Ellie are friends?"
He looked at her for a moment, "I mean, I know you talk but...I thought Brent was your vent can...Or Alex, or me if you want..."
He sighed, "Im here if you need me...Just dont punch me"

"Yeah but…" Her voice trailed off the words only Elle would really understand died in her throat.

"Ok..." He said with a sigh, "Whatever it is though...You...do need to vent. Like now before someone gets a sledgehamer to the face or something"

Mari looked up at Lorry debating. She sighed a bit then nodded, "I've just been think since chicago…about how much I hate girl things…it took Elle to make me really notice it but I hate it! The hair ther dresses the make up the way you need to act! I I wanna sit around all say in nothing but boxers and play xbox I should be allowed! And effin hate these useless tits!" She said in a rush getting it all out.

Lorry stared at her for a second before chuckleing.
"Mari...who ever said that you cant just...sit in boxers and play xbox? No one sais you have to be feminine...Ok, so besides the main media and occasionally peoples parents, but other than that...Mari, wanting to do those things, it doesn't make you a guy and it doesn't make you a boy. TITS don't make you a girl or vise versa or whatever. And I mean, since you just punched Brent in the face over not wanting a dick...there's no reason to think that that makes you a different gender. If you are...that's fine but...traits dont make you who you are as far as gender goes..." Lorry said with a sigh, "So, just, dont get so upset about it and if you want them, you can wear a pair of Brendon's boxers, because mine are way too fabulous for you to wear"

Mari just listened frowning, "Too fabulous my ass…" She muttered softly shaking her head as she thought about what said.

"Well fine then," He huffed, "But seriously, whatever gender issues your having, its fine, especially within our group of friends. Just, don't take it out on peoples faces"

"Yeah...I won't do that again..." Mari said softly looking down with a sigh.

"Good, because I like Brent's face, so try not to ruin it," He said with a sigh, "You think we should go check on him? Frankly im a little scared to, hes pissy...and you know...bleeding, and I typically induce nosebleeds in him so..."
