"Maybe," Cecilia said not wanting to get into her family. She didn't know them well enough to like them or not like them.

Drake sighed, "My father taught me that emotions make you weak. But he's wrong. Emotions make you strong. Its what makes your powers grow as well...."

Cecilia rolled her eyes. She had no powers so it didn't matter. She was probably the only non magical being here, "Great." The perfect guy just had to be Mr. Emotional too. What happened to the heartless rich guys in all those romance novels, of course they always seemed to lose, Cecilia never really knew why, they seemed fine to her. "I guess fantasy can't be real or it wouldn't be fantasy," She sighed.

Drake grinned, "Fantasy is most definitely not real. As I stated before, my kind do not go around eating humans like we do in books. Nor are we all obsessed with treasure. Though we do enjoy the finer things in life...."

Cecilia snorted, "You sure like to talk about yourself." And she thought she was self absorbed. He seemed to boast with pride. Well at least she found one flaw, that made her feel better.

Drake snorted, "Its not like you had much to say about YOURself now is it? Someone has to get rid of the silence. So why do it alone?"

"Humph, so I don't have to deal with people like you," She said crossing her arms. She wasn't about to let him know anything about her after just meeting him one day even if he could read her mind. She'd just have to be careful about what she thought about, no big deal.

Drake grinned, "Well too bad, because I like you. You're the first woman who didn't throw herself at me after I revealed myself to be a wealthy lord. But if you wish to be left alone for now I'll just be on my way."

He bowed deeply and turned to leave.

"Eh," Cecilia blinked, "Wait! What!" She exclaimed, "No no no! I am that type of woman!" For some reason this frustrated her. Then again wealthy lord and a dragon combination was not what she had expected, but she wasn't supposed to be picky. He was rich, what was she doing? "You frustrate me!" She shouted.

Drake spun around with a smirk, "Its good to see that you can express SOME emotion. You should try to do it more often. You'll be much happier expressing how you feel rather than hiding it."

Cecilia blushed as she realized that she had just made a public outburst. She tried to push the feelings away, but couldn't and that only angered her and embarrassed her more. "Well I'm not happy," She said bitterly.

Drake smiled and a red rose appeared in his hand. He held it out to Cecilia. "Don't worry. You will be."

"And if I'm not," She said staring at the rose, not sure if she should take it or not. She didn't like this one bit and yet she was tempted.

(I feel like jumping in, but this would utterly disrupt the balance of emotion stability. For now, i'll just wait and see, sounds good? *smiles*)

Drake chuckled, "And if you're not then you get half my estate, which I believe would be about five billion dollars give or take...."

"You can't like me that much," Cecilia said looking at him suspiciously. Was he planning something or maybe it was those two.

Drake sighed, "Honestly, I don't know what to make of you. You're alone and you DO look lonely at times but you say you're fine. You hide your emotions, yet the sadness that you may not even know you feel is always present in your eyes. Weather you wish to believe me or not, I believe that I can make you happy."

"I am not sad," Cecilia muttered taking the rose. At least she didn't think she was and she was used to being alone so maybe she just seemed lonely to others?

"I think you are.... And I think its about time that you find out what true happiness really is," Drake said, smiling.

Cecilia still was somewhat suspicious about him, but decided not to turn this into an argument one whether or not she was happy. "If you say so," She sighed and couldn't believe she gave in, but it wasn't worth a fight.

Drake nodded, "I do indeed. So Lady Cecilia, what DO you like to do with your free time?"

"Read, Sleep, Do homework, go on walks," Cecilia shrugged, "Simple things." She didn't have many hobbies since she wasn't too good at anything she started, eventually she just gave up and stuck to the simple things. It was just her thing, she never liked complicated things like instruments and sports.

Drake smiled, "The simple things in life.... Those are always nice. Have you ever tried writing? Avid readers make for the best writers you know. I'm sure you'd be wonderful at it."

Cecilia rolled her eyes, as if that was possible, her imagination wasn't that good.

Drake glanced at Cecilia, "You don't believe me? Have you ever tried? I have a couple of novels in the making but I'm more of a poet myself...."
