Kai blushed suddenly unsure "i dunno, it's your choice" she giggled softly, instictively biteing her lower lip, she slowed the car to about five miles under the speed limit, she felt as though they were crawling, she ran a hand down her now slightly shorter hair while her ears twitched "i'm feeling like heading to fridays for dinner then a drink" she smiled her tolerance had very much risen since her last drink. She could down at least two or three without getting a buzz.

I'll ease my character in, so I don't disrupt any major plotlines. xD)

Seren sighed, dressed in more 'regular' clothes than the ones she would have normally worn in Japan.

"Why did Grandfather insist that I give this school a try?" She muttered, much to the surprise of a nearby ticket vendor inside the airport outside of town.
"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you." Seren noddd in the vendor's direction, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and began walking towards the flight gate exit, suitcase in tow.

The sun outside was near-blinding, something that Seren disliked.
"Ugh, this weather just won't do.." She giggled, then looked to her right, then left, before twirling her fingers around the air in front of her, creating a bit of shade in the sky, with snow.

Many people were curious about the few flakes of frozen water, but the rest just shrugged it off.
Seren started walking towards town, trying to find this school that her grandfather had talked about.
"Should have booked a taxi or something." Seren said, sweat starting to form on her brow from the heat, even with the snowflakes around her, this place was still quite warm.

(s'alright lol currently kai is helping out her boyfriend iunane they're heading to a movie then a bar-- oooo seren could meet them there if you want hehe i'm also waiting for kah hilzin-ec to post in the rp -sigh- she sometimes forgets i guess)

"Oh no, you're going to drink? Please tell me your tolerance boosted ever since then" awed Iunane, worrying another scene. He laughed afterwards though, and mentioned, "Oh hey, is it me or your hair is... a bit shorter?" as he raised an eyebrow.

He looked out the window with some curiosity in his eyes. "Life can be so funny... we're crossing roads with a student-to-be in... 5... 4..." he muttered as he put his aviator glasses on.

(i can understand that kah, that's why i'm waiting patiently all of the time XD i'm not impatient around my bestest of friends hehehe)

Kai slowed to a crawling pace looking for who he was talking about "and yes my hair is shorter i'm able to have a drink with dinner and not pass out or get on tables and start dancing" she laughed continuously looking around.

Seren kept dragging on, suitcase in tow, when she noticed a car getting closer and slowing down as it did so.

"..Why on Earth would they slow down on this kind of road? It's rush hour.."
She picked up ehr pace instinctively, trying to find out why they were slowed down, but more than anything, she was afraid that the person was someone undesirable, and god knows what they had on their minds.

Having this thought implanted into her mind, she backed up a bit, rather than advancing any further.
Slowly, the ground near the car began to grow clear with ice, freezing over the tires.
"Maybe that'll slow them down."

Kai slammed on the brakes skidding to a stop, though the ice didnt help "you going to saint kai's" she asked in a plain voice, she knew from teh girl's elemental powers that she was. But asking was friendlier then saying 'hop into my black car little girl'

when kai spoke her ears twitched and tail swayed, she was friendly enough to not scare the girl away, or so she thought.

Iunane looked at the girl though his glasses, "Yes you are! And don't worry, we don't bite, nor have sick thoughts, nor plan on kidnapping you, nor those other things that are running through your mind. Well 'cept that we're weird, but that's it." he said, obviously as a reply to Seren's thoughts. He smiled, hoping to look non-creepy enough to gain her trust.

"Oh, by the way, I would appreciate it if you took the ice from the road, I already have a broken rib and I heard buses are uncomfortable, hehe..." he mentioned. This girl didn't seem the kind to be mean just to be mean after all.

"Uh. Sure. But how did you..? Did you read my mind?" Seren was a little irked by mind readers, they never seemed to keep out of people's heads.
"I suppose I should just get in the car." Seren sighed, then got in the backseat, along with her backpack and suitcase.

"So.. Who exactly are you guys?"

"Yes and sorry for doing so. Sometimes I get distracted and people's thoughts filter into my mind," he apologized. Most mind readers had to concentrate to do so, but for him, it happened as effortlessly as normal listening.

Iunane looked out the window, and waited for Kai to present herself first. He then said, "And I'm a meat lollipop, as special as everyone else." For some reason he thought this fitted him best.

"i'm a werecat" she smiled slipping one hand off of the steering wheel and placed it palm up waiting for iunane to grab her hand, she loved being able to show him any affection when she could. While the car reached it's speed she yawned "would you like to go to dinner and a movie with us or do you want to go to the school to get your room situated?" while kai talked to seren she didnt take her eyes off of the road.

Iunane, noticing Kai's hand, smiled warmly to himself and place his hand over hers. His grab was firm but gentle. He again looked at the dust particles in the air. Their formation now signed no problems ahead. He closed his eyes and trusted in Kai's driving and social skills.

she smiled lacing her fingers with his, while they drove she sped up waiting for seren's answer. She continued the stretch of road at varying speeds attempting to keep herself entertained and also an attempt to not hurt iunane and his broken ribs, she was still angry over her boyfriend's injuries but what could she do? he specifically asked her not to interfere the last time so he knew what he was doing-- or so she hoped.

"You know what? Sure, I'd love to go to a movie, if it isn't too much trouble."
Seren shifted her suitcase a bit, so her butt was a bit more comfy in the backseat of the car.
"Anyways, I'm sorry for freezing over your tires, almost a reflex that my grandfather taught me back home." She smiled, then blew a puff of snowflakes from her palm, letting them cool down the car.

"Heh, don't worry..." he mentioned, and looked at the road in front of them. They were halfway to the movie theather. A feeling of nausea was in his throat, but so subtle he just ignored it. Maybe it was because he didn't eat anything on his way to Saint Kai's. He decided to just wait until the movie, he would eat popcorn and nachos there.

Seren cocked her head to the left a little bit, looking at Iunane's face.
"Are you feeling alright?" She asked, moving her head a bit closer.
Seren had a bit of experience with healing magic, but she was just starting to learn the basics.
She poked his throat with her finger, which gave his neck a quick coating of white, beautiful frost.
The icy coating was gone almost as soon as she withdrew her finger.
"Feeling any better now?"

Kai giggled and looked back at them, when her gaze locked on iunane's she looked compltely concerned "how'd you do that? are you an elementalist?" when she asked this she smiled a wide toothy grin, one that she hadnt mustered in such a long time that it was foreign even to her.

Seren sat back in her seat. "Yeah, well. Sort of."
She sighed, then explained.
"Back in Japan, my grandfather and I were blessed by a Yuki-Onna at the temple we took care of. We're now part demi-god."

Kai nearly slammed on the brakes looking back at the young girl, very impressed "oh my--- is it exciting?" she laughed to herself, flicking her feline ears every so often "can you fly? sorry for asking i just--- i dont know dont know much about demi gods" she mumbled feeling as though she were insulting the young girl

"Well, if I try hard enough during a snowstorm, or in the winter I can, but only if the snow is violent enough."
Seren smiled, then twirled her finger in a rapid motion, creating a miniscule snowstorm around the tip, so powerful, it seemed to freeze her finger solid.
"I'm really just an elementalist, but during the winter I get an aura like the Yuki-Onna, same with my grandfather."

She shook her head while giggling to herself "you're truly unique" she mused her tail abruptly swaying, when she pulled it out from under her it lightly wrapped around Iunane's wrist "how're you doing?" she asked him, then immediately turned her attention to Seren "i'm-- a werecat" she laughed "well werepanther as it seems"

"Um, yeah. Thanks for the healing touch!" Iunane mentioned, excited for having found an elementalist with such powers. He then looked at Kai, or rather, her big smile. He liked it when she smiled. It always made him feel better deep inside, no matter whether it was because of him or someone else; he wanted her to be happy with no conditions. "Uhh yeah, feeling good, heh" he told her.
