"m-me? normal?" she laughed then shivered when a few rain drops landed in her pants (through the holds in her knees) she quickly jumped and walked over to him "wanna go inside?" she hadnt placed her hood back up, or, she didnt remember doing anything about it. She instead just groaned wehn she felt her body growing colder, mind growing tired and another bruise formed, this time it was at the base of her neck, a dark blue freckled with red. It was painful for her, but, she refused to stop using her power. She relied on it half of the time "Thank you" she nudged him and again she fell, this time she caught herself and only scraped her knee laughing stupidly "how come i cant knock you over?!" it wasnt frustrating, just entertaining.

He laughed when she tried to nudge him, but failed and fell. He offered her a hand to help him up and as he did he stated,"You can't knock me over, because I'm built like stone." That time it came out comically. He smiled as he waited for her to take his hand,"Yeah, we should probably get inside, don't want you to catch a cold."

she took his hand and pulled herself up, she had protected the roses, they were as she would call them, happy to be in her coat. She smiled and nodded "true.. hey if i asked you to ever turn me.. would you?" she looked up at him with curious eyes, though, she didnt intend to be turned unless her life depended on it. She arched her back, releasing small air bubbles.

when they first arrived they were given small slips with numbers on them. Their dorms. She looked hers over then blushed deeply, she had been right though, the key was under the mat she had curled up on "wanna go to my place or yours?" that sounded awfully perverted and she realized it. She stopped and immediately pulled her hood up refusing to say anything further.

Zane's expression to one of worry when she asked if he would turn her if she asked him to,"Um, I've never turned someone before. I have watched people get turned though, and it wasn't pleasant." When she asked the second question though, his face turned a bright red, since he wore the pendent, it gave him more human features,"W-what do you mean?"

"n-nothing sexual!" she shrieked, voice cracking, she ducked her head and looked over at him, shadows plastering across her face "i.. uhm.. do you wanna hang out at my dorm is what i mean.." even though they were both straight and that of abnormal decent, she knew nothing would happen between them, or so her pessimistic mind told her nothing would happen, she wrinkled her nose and sneezed into her free hand "...i have to get out of the rain soon" her cheeks were already a vibrant red, and now, her eyes were half open, nose was starting to run. All the signs of a cold.

Zane dropped his head because of the thoughts that ran through his head,"U-uh, yeah, lets go to your dorm, it's closer." He stopped talking from there, if he said anything else, he most likely would have made matters worse. Although, there seemed to be something missing from the school, all the upperclassmen were no where to be found.

she blushed and, by the time they reached her dorm her hands were trembling, she shakily reached for the key, opened the door and looked back at him, then immediately in front of herself, she stepped inside "look" she turned to face him pulling her jacked off to reveal the baggy yet form fitting shirt "i'm really sorry for that... uhm.. moment of perversion" she kicked off her shoes and rolled up the bottoms of her pants which were now soaked

Zane followed Cj into her dorm and shut the door behind him,"I-it's alright." He took of his shoes, using his feet and placed them next to hers. He looked around the dorm and found a coat rack, he took of his jacket and placed it on one of the hooks. Against the wall behind the coat rack was a framed piece of paper with Cj's schedule as well as someones else, Kai Blackburgh,"Hey, do you know who your dorm mate is?"

"i was told i wouldnt be given one" she groaned at the two beds and sighed "lemme guess.. some rich snob who doenst know right from wrong" she walked over to the wall, slipped between him and it then gasped "kai.. Saint kai's... SHE'S THE HEADMASTER!" she leaned her back against his chest, practically using him as support, she groaned and rubbed her thumbs into her eyes "i'm sharing a dorm with the headmistress.." this was somewhat unnerving.

Zane held Cj upright by her upper arms as he read the information on the paper,"Oh, well then, this should be an exciting year for you. Or do you not want to be the headmistresses dorm mate?" He thought it would be entertaining for her. She would get to know the head mistress on a personal note, probably not something most of the students get to do.

"This.. is awfully scary" she admitted looking up at him and sighed "i'm usually always in a shitload of trouble" when she spoke her voice trembled, wavering from the stress of the situation, she did however cup her hands over her nose and mouth sneezing once again, with his hands on her warm skin she shivered and bundled herself into her thin t-shirt "you.. dont think i'll get expelled do you?"

Dante twitched as he stared at his mahogany closet door. What was he doing? Did his parents really expect him to do this? He heard someone cough behind him and glanced back to see his father, quite annoyed, and his mother, eyes full of tears. "What are you waiting for son?" His father asked. "I am sorry. It's just... are you sure about this?" Dante asked hesitantly. "Yes, are you sure dear? Dante's just a boy!!" Her mother cried. "Mother..." Dante truly wished his mother could be a little less overprotective. "This is for the best." His father replied, "Now do it Dante." The 18 year-old just sighed and turned back to his closet door. He knocked on the door three times. "St. Kai's School for the Gifted, St. Kai's School for the Gifted." He stated twice. He then took in a deep breath and opened the door. Replacing his wide arrange of clothes was a dark portal. He blinked in surprise and turned to his parents. His mother ran up to him and gave him one final hug. "Be careful Dante." She whispered before pulling away. He smiled and nodded to her. He turned to his father who now had a look of nostalgia instead of annoyance. "Good luck son." He said as he handed him his luggage. "Don't worry. I will." He replied with a smile. He turned for the portal and with one more inhale of breath, he walked inside.

Dante didn't know how long it would take to get to the school through the portal. He expected minutes, maybe even hours. Nope, when he walked through, he immediately stepped inside a small bedroom with two beds containing one red-haired girl and one pink-haired boy. They looked like they were having a moment. Yet, he continued to stare at them when he suddenly realized how rude he was. "Oh, I'm sorry for intruding." He announced, removing his top hat. He bowed to them. "Hello there, I'm Dante Tessier. I'm new here. And... I'm terribly sorry for being rude." Man, how embarrassing. The elf made a quick mental note to remember that the portal from home could make him show up anywhere on school grounds.

To her dismay, Leah didn't exactly know what she was doing. This seemed to always happen in a new environment. The closet door trip made her feel a bit queasy for some reason, and now she sat on the porch of her dorm with her luggage perched next to her. She signed, looking over at the scenery around her, it was raining. She guessed she didn't have to go to class because she just got there, so she sat and waited. She didn't want to go in, if there were people in there that meant conversation.

Zane jumped at the sound of a new voice behind them,"Jesus..." He let go of Cj, making sure she wouldn't fall back and held his chest. As long as he wore the pendent, he would have more human features than all vampires. He turned around to look at the newcomer,"P-please don't do that."

When Zane let go of her, she fell further backward until finally she lost her balance landing flat on her back in front of dante "h-hello" she spoke in a soft, gentle tone though she was shaking from the embarrassment of the situation, co-ed..? no.. that couldnt be, she blushed another shade of red and looked up into Dante's eyes "are.. you my roommate?" she couldnt believe it, he was awfully cute as well as polite.. but what about zane?! what was going on!? her eyes grew wide when another stress induced asthma attack caught her attention.

Leah heard a slight thump coming from one of the dorms. As an impulse, she thought it was a cat, like the one that used to sleep on the top of her apartment roof. Then, snapping back into her senses, she realized there were no cats. "Well that was stupid..." She mumbled to herself, leaving her bag on the front steps as she went inside to see what was going on.

Dante's eyes widened when he saw the red-haired girl fall. He quickly put his hat back on and helped her up. "I'm very sorry." He repeated, "I'm not sure if I am. I just got here today through my closet door." He felt silly saying that, but it was the truth. He looked between the girl and the boy. "If one of you could be so kind as to show me where I can confirm my stay here, I'd really appreciate it." He ended up announcing, finding nothing else to say in this awkward situation.

Char laughed and nodded "i'll help you to the front desk" she looked up at Zane who looked as though he were about to have a heart attack at any moment, though, since his heart wasnt beating that would have been impossible, right? She shrugged such thoughts off and took the offered hand giggling stupidly "you didnt come witht he rest of us? they validated our schedules during the tour" she knew the process, it was simple enough, show them who you are, get your classes and dorm then bam you're a member of the school. she shivered at the sudden feel of someone approaching, a girl, small and obviously not human. She dismissed this though to see what would come of this.

"you ready?" she asked dante looking up at him as she slipped her tiny feet back into her shoes, donned her soaking wet coat and prepared for the long trek to the administrator's offices to help the new arrival.

Leah silently went into the room where she heard the sound. She didn't find a cat, but she found three people in a slightly awkward place. She imagined that she made it worse, being so small that she could be mistaken for a child.

When Char saw leah she smiled, she heard rumors of there being a girl who resembled a child, but, she didnt resemble one at all. she was small, but, yet somehow she radiated an energy that let everyone know she meant business, she bowed "hello" she spoke in a small, soft, friendly but shy voice. Which, cracked her asthmatic attack slowly made itself more prominent, so, she gasped patting herself down, feeling for the inhaler.

"Asthma?" Leah asked, eyeing the now struggling girl. The tone she used didn't even sound like a question. Leah didn't know her name, but she seemed very nice. "It's under the bed." She motioned her hand to point to the spot.

"thank you" she gasped and dove under the bed, legs and lower body protruding from under the slender twin size bed, she puffed the solution into her lungs and took in a deep breath, slowly pulling herself back into the world but this time she laid on her back trying to keep herself calm, to keep herself from freaking out more "My name is Charlotte.. Char for short.. or you can call me Cj or even Karu if you want" she laughed shyly then rubbed one of her eyes, slowly standing to her feet

"Nice to meet you." Said Leah, her mother always told her to be polite. "I'm Leah. I think I'll just call you Charlotte if that's alright." She said, in her monotone voice. Her red eyes turned to look out the window. Oh, she thought, I left Algernon outside... Algernon was her stuffed bunny, who she normally carried at all times.

She nodded and smiled then laughed shyly, dante looked dazed or at least deep in thought, she wrinkled her nose before standing to her feet, her bags were scattered all around the room. She took in a deep breath before rubbing a closed fist into her other eye "How old are you?" it was rude, quick and slightly random but, Char didnt care it was strange to see someone smaller than her, this was amusing but concerning to her.

"16" Said Leah, her eyes never leaving the rainy window. Then, realizing what she said, she turned to Charlotte, "And a half." She added. She took every chance she could to make herself sound older.
