Zane was sitting outside the infirmary now, in with his knee's to his chest and his arms wrapped around his knee's. He was slightly rocking back and forth,'Why did this have to happen, why her, why someone I knew?' After a few minutes, he stopped rocking and leaned his head against the wall, still holding his knee's. He took in a quivering breath and quickly shook his head, stopping him from crying about how he always ruins somebodies life.

While the nurse worked on helping char, who was resisting every bit of it that the nurse attempted, an administrator flipped open his phone, one of the few which worked on campus. He dialed a number then pressed it against his ear, pressed the speaker phone button and grinned "Hello..?" a weak voice came from the other end "yes. Headmistress Kai" the male spoke "we had an attack earlier" she was groggy "well then put some ice on it and it'll stop the swelling" the male froze "what?" his eyes widened when he looked over at char who was now strapped down to the bed "you boy" kai said "you sitting against the wall" she wasnt the usual werepanther, that much was for sure "give her a drop of your blood and she'll calm down.."
"blood was already administered" the admin spoke again
"the blood of a friend stops the transformation at whatever stage it had reached" all of them froze "how did you..?" the line went dead. Char was writhing in pain, sweat beading on her forehead, and eyes filling with tears of blood and water "someone kill me.. please..." she begged

Zane barely heard the voice over the phone from outside the room, even as a vampire when his mind was focused on something else, he was completely oblivious to the world around him. He got up and walked into the room, going over to Cj, but then stopped in front of the administrator who had called the headmistress,"She want's me to do what?" He didn't move or changed his expression, he just waited for an answer from the admin.

"a drop of your blood apparently" he wasnt comfortable with this, he looked down at zane, or possibly even up to him. His eyes were streaking with terror at just the thought of this. He did however unveil a small dagger, one for ceremonial uses "she said that it would halt the transformation so char would remain somewhat human" while he spoke, char screamed out in agony while she felt her lungs ceasing function, she gasped one final breath before losing consciousness.

Zane opened his eye's in astonishment when the administrator told him what he had to do. He looked at the small dagger the admin produced, then he looked over at Cj. He steadily reached for the dagger and gripped the hilt lightly. He held it loosely in his hand as he walked over to Cj, next to where her head was. He held up his free hand, over Cj's mouth, and brought the blade to it, not cutting it though. He held it there for a few seconds,"Cj, I'm sorry." He slid the dagger across his hand and thin stream of blood came out, falling into Cj's mouth.

she looked up at him horrified, tears streaking down her face, she lay there, frozen in terror while the pain finally ceased. Her limbs numbed, eyes rolled into the back of her head and mouth closed. Even though her lips were bloodied, she was content, she struggled against her restraints but soon gave up "i'm...s-so sorry about this.." her voice trailed off in all corners of the room, a small whisper of a voice..

..hours slipped by with cj in this state until finally she broke through the bindings with what seemed to be no effort at all, her color had returned, same with her humanity. She slipped off of the bed and looked at the now worried administrators with brighter eyes, then over at zane. She stood to her feet and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his sides "thank you" her voice was more assuring then it had been just hours before "you saved my life.." she didnt want to get all romantic with him, or even at all. They just met! though when she looked up at him she was blushing just the slightest bit.

Zane's eyes were bloodshot, he would never admit it, but he had cried a few times while he waited for Cj to regain consciousness. When she hugged him, he could barely move his own arms, then he hugged her back, practically lifting her off the ground,"Cj... don't ever do that again. Don't ever go anywhere alone, ever again. If you do, you take a blade with you, their a lot easier to use than your powers."

"i-i..." she was taken back by his sudden worry over her, she bit her lower lip then nodded not wanting to admit that he was right "yes sir" she laughed then wrinkled her nose, blushing a further shade of red before looking up directly into his bloodshot eyes "you have been crying.. have you?" when she asked this she knew his answer would be an immediate know followed by a shy sort of laughter, but, she knew the truth after all, she was unconscious not deaf "thank you so much..f-for.. h-helping me... if i go anywhere.. i'll make sure someone is with me.. i-i swear.." most likely she'd invite him to tag along.

though while they remained pressed against one another the administrators attempted to part them, not once but four times, trying to get CJ acquainted with the blood tablets, to her new source of food, but she refused. She smelled what they were serving in the cafeteria and wanted the fajitas, not the watered down blood substitute.

Zane finally put Cj down after a few minutes. He slowly backed up far enough so that the administrators could get in front of her. He didn't want to let them try and get her to take the blood tablets, but he knew what she had become. He ignored the question she asked, if she asked it again he would just ignore it... again,"Cj, just try the blood tablets, you'll get used to them after the first few times." He looked over at one of the administrators,"Which reminds me, I need a refill." He took the empty pill bottle out of his pocket and handed it to the administrator.

Cj handed her bottle to him then wrinkled her nose again "no way" she mumbled "you take it i wanna have the Fajita" she giggled loudly then looked over at him, and, before any of the admins could protest, took off down the hall. Faster than any of them could probably run, she ripped through the doors and straight in line, she laughed stupidly before taking a plateful, payed for it and sitting down. while she sat, she smiled chewing delightedly, content with what she had chosen.

the admins all sighed and turned toward zane "we have other problems to deal with, you're her ring master" they unveiled a phone handing it to him "call us on the only number programmed in if you ever need help" with that, they vanished from view in a puff of smoke. Which, set the alarms hanging above off. The entire room was showered in a small form of water before shutting itself off when the smoke depleted.

Zane looked up at the sprinklers as they went off,'Ass holes...' When the water stopped spraying down on him, he shook his head getting some of the water out of his hair. He sighed and made his way to the cafeteria and found where Cj was sitting. He could see her smiling like an idiot from where he was standing, he made his way over to her and sat down across from her and stole a piece of her food. He quickly ate it before she could do anything,"So, why don't you want to try the tablets? Look, just at least try them for a week and if you don't like them then... we can tell the administrators to take them back, alright?"

she wrinkled her nose and again declined "why cant i just get blood from the local blood bank?" when she asked this she smiled even more, showing off her newly acquired fangs which, only brought her more beauty oddly enough. She looked up into his eyes, her green ones now a bright, direct color "..can i add two tablets? one tastes awful..and smells it too" she let out another groan then handed him another fajita, pouring hot sauce on it as well as the others, even though it set her mouth ablaze, she loved it. She bit her lower lip before tilting her head to the side "Zane? are.. you mad at me?" she knew that he told her to stay away and now.. they were sitting across from one another, talking with joy.

Dante sighed as he finally made it to the lunch room. After the cute Kaori had left him at the front door, it took the elf a while to make his way back up to the second floor. He didn't find Zane, but instead found his luggage where he had left it. Then, he made his way to the closest office without getting too wet, got his room assignment and schedule, and was informed that it was lunch time. So, he dropped his things in his new, but empty of a roommate, dorm, Dante traveled throughout the school grounds till he found the lunch room. By then, he was quite famished.

Dante looked around to figure out where to get his food and caught sight of some familiar people. He noticed that Zane and Charlotte were talking again and did not want to disturb them like last time, so he made his way on to the lunch line.

Zane nodded,"Yeah, I guess you can have two tablets. Oh, and the reason you can't steal blood from a blood bank, you can't leave school grounds unless your an upperclassmen, or the headmistress." He quickly ate the fajita that Cj had given him, he didn't even taste the hot sauce. He looked up at her when she asked if he was mad at her,"No, not mad. Just... I guess worried would be the best word for it." He rested his elbows on the table and his head on his hands. His eye's were no longer bloodshot and they were back to their original blue color.

"are.. you okay?" she jumped up rushing over to the line, grabbing more food as well as a bottle of water, grabbed a second, and there she stood, in line. while she was looking around to see who all she knew, she noticed dante "hey!" she shouted, but, her voice came out quiet, so, she didnt say anything further she just... stood there while in line, though when givent he premature chance to pay for it, she seized the opportunity and rushed back over to zane "here.. do you need water? i dont know.." though the 'human' food wasnt helping at all, she sat back down then sighed looking at the water in disgust "isnt there anything better we can drink? and.. the upper classmen in this school... are well into their twenties" she groaned then wrinkled her nose

He looked back up at Cj when she sat down,"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about me." He rubbed his eye's, wearing the pendant actually made him tired and the 'spell' Cj put on it, wouldn't allow him to take it off. He took the water bottle and drank some of the water from it, without putting any blood tablets in it, he was still waiting for the administrators to refill his pill bottle. When he would go get his pill bottle, would be when Cj get's her blood tablets,"They may be in their twenties, but I'm over two hundred and still not allowed off campus."

"why are you... you cant take it off!" she shrieked and immediately was at his side, hands gripping the chain, she took it off of him and said a small blessing, this removed the spell she had placed on it, she could feel a large bruise forming on the back of her neck, she let out a small cry and immediately gripped the spot, handing him the pendant and leaning on the table, she may be remotely indestructible, but, she was still capable of pain "damnit.." she cried out again arching her back from the pain then finally collapsed to her side, when another, much deeper bruise formed over her left eye, with a scratch trailing over it. No blood came from the wound though.

Kaori casually walked through the line and paid for her lunch. She noticed that Zane and Charlotte were sitting at a table nearby, but decided it was best to leave them alone for now. She scanned the room for others she knew and saw none. Though a few feet in front of her was the boy from before, Dante, she recalled. "Hey! Dante!" She shouted while waving at him.

When she removed the spell from the pendant and took the pendant off, Zane felt his energy returning to him. When he saw Cj collapse and the scar form over her eye, he rushed over to catch her. He picked her up and sat her down on the seat, kneeling in front of her, moving her hair out of the way so he could see the scar. There was no point in taking her to the infirmary, she would heal faster than before, now that she was a half vampire,"Hey, are you alright, does it hurt?"

Cj nodded and groaned holding her hand over her eye while the tears flooded down her face, her lower lip began to tremble when more pain rushed through her, she looked over at the elf before shuddering, there was pressure coming from her eye as it healed, as well as the back of her neck "why does this always happen?" she cried, placing her face in her hands, lower lip trembling "zane..? does this... happen to anyone you know?"

Dante looked up and saw the familiar blond hair of Kaori. He smiled and waved back. "Hello Miss Kaori!" He called back. He quickly paid for his lunch and walked over to her. "Miss Kaori, if you don't mind, but may I sit with you this lunch period?" He asked politely, smiling down at her with his cheerful red eyes.

"Hello again, Charlotte. How are you feeling?" Kaori smiled brightly, "Do you mind if I sit?" She sat down and watched slowly, eating her meal bit by bit. She listened intently to the conversation being said, not to be a eavesdropper, but to insure that Charlotte was beginning to feel better.

"Hmm? Oh, but of course, sit wherever" Kaori smiled and motioned a small hand in the air. "So how have you been?" she asked Dante while trying to make small talk.

Leah looked around the lunch room to find a spot to eat. Her meal was pretty much meat, which to most would probably be revolting. Still, it tasted great to her. Her spotted Charlotte, the boy who carried her, and the blonde one all around the same area. Completely blank on where else to sit, she made her way over. The first person she came up to was Charlotte. "You're ok, right?" She asked, her normally plain voice seemingly laced with concern.

Char looked over at Dante, eyes wide and expression slightly scared, she held her eye before pushing her hair over her eye to hide from not only Dante, but Kaori as well as Zane. She winced several times over before feeling the bruise on her face face, but, the scar however, did not. That remained "you can sit with us if you'd like Yetti.. you too dante" she knew there was something between kaori and dante, even if it wasnt much there was something indeed. Something that made her happy yet uncomfortable

she looked down at little leah, and nodded "yes i'm fine" she laughed stupidly before letting her index finger (of her right hand) trail down the newly formed scar. She winced at it's feel, at how it had already felt rough, this caused her to shiver and cry just a small bit "how's your bunny?" she asked with a shy tone, not wanting him to be unlovable "i'm sorry you had to.. to rip him up.." she had a stuffed animal of her own that she cherished.. a tiger named Sabre.

"Thank you very much Miss Charlotte, Miss Kaori." Dante thanked as he sat down. He didn't mean to ignore Zane though, but he was so giddy to be sitting with such beautiful girls that he had totally forgotten about him. He also noticed another girl coming over, but averted his attention to Kaori.

"I'm doing well, thank you for asking Miss Kaori." He replied as he took his utensils, "I finally found my dorm room and have my schedule all set. I am now an official student at St. Kai's."
