"i'm fine.." she clearly didnt want to talk about it, so, she just buried her face into her hands, letting the tears seep through her fingers. When she did, her shoulders bobbed, she took in several deep gasping breaths while calming down. when she pulled her head up from her hands she spoke in a small whisper "my mother and father were killed by a drunk driver when i was sixteen.. from then on in i was bounced from foster home to foster home.. each time they progressively grew worse.. until i got to this one.. it was.. horrible.. it still is.. t-they.. if i use my ability.. they beat me.. i've been locked in the trunk of their car for two weeks with limited water and food.." she shivered several times over before burying her face back in her hands, sobbing uncontrollably.

He couldn't think of anything to say, which probably wasn't a good thin, but he was never good at dealing with much emotional issues. So he just stared down at his feet, hoping that Cj could calm herself down. He wanted to help, but couldn't think of anything to do.

she let out a small sigh when the sky clouded itself again, which, produced rain, she smiled when the water soaked hr hair again, she let out a small sigh before wiping her face "sorry about that" she spoke in a small whisper, almost that of a child. There was no lightening, no cause for worry, only rain. She didnt know what to say "tired?" she sighed then shook her head, it was slightly awkward now that their feelings were out in the open.

He nodded and looked over at Cj,"Yeah, a little." He just wanted this day to come to an end and hoped that most of it was all just one big prank. He pushed himself off the railing and walked back inside, to get out of the rain. He didn't know if the weather was Cj's doing this time, or if it was actually raining. If it was actually raining, he wanted to fall asleep before the thunder started.

"go to bed okay? i'll be in, in just a few minutes" she yawned herself and let out a small sigh though when the thought of thunder did however intimidate her. She rushed in after him, sneezed twice and curled up on Kai's bed "you can take mine" and before he could protest, she was asleep unwilling to move due to the comfort. Although before she managed to fall asleep, she drew the curtains closed, so, when the sun would rise it would harm neither of them.

He opened his mouth to say something, but Cj had already fallen asleep. He, mockingly, let his arms drop to his side, hung his head, and sighed. In that positiong, he walked to Cj's room and crawled into her bed,'Getting into a girls bed, without the girl... just ain't right.' He closed his eye's and quickly drifted into a deep sleep, as he did thunder boomed outside the dorm.

Char slept soundly for the first three hours, that is until the usual nightmares invaded her mind. she screamed loudly and arched her back, opened her eyes and pushed off of the bed, onto her feet and ran down the hall, she crawled into bed with Zane who she suspected was now awake. Curled into his arms and cried she patted down his arms and chest making sure he was uninjured, in her dream he had been torn limb from limb, but, tortured first. Since she was still half awake, she couldnt tell reality from the horrors of her own mind. The scent of his humanity flooded her nostrils, she took in a heavy breath before moving closer to him, forehead against his collarbone, though, before either of them knew it, she was out cold.

He was about to jump out of the bed and go to Cj, when she came into the room. He stayed still and she climbed into the bed next to him, feeling him for reasons he didn't understand. He was going to ask if she was alright, but he realized that she was already out cold. He moved a strand of her hair out of her face, kissed her on the forehead and went back to bed, holding her close to him.

When morning came something in char's body snapped. Eyes open in no time she blushed a light shade of red, the realization of where she was had hit her like a ton of bricks. she shivered not once but twice before lightly kissing the point of his nose, wanting to do something else but, he was sleeping, best not to wake him just yet. How had she gotten here in the first place? she had no recollection of getting out of bed and running down the hall, and yet, here she was.

Zane opened his eye's and smiled when he saw Cj,"Morning. How'd you sleep last night, after the nightmare's of course." He had easily figured out why she screamed and ran into the room, just not what the nightmare was about. He sat up, leaning on his elbow so he was staring down at her. He rubbed some of the sleep from his eye's with his other hand.

Char blushed deeply and quickly checked under the covers, they were both awake, both dressed and both nervous as hell. She raised an eyebrow before patting herself down "what nightmare?" she had sweet dreams while in his arms, for the first time in years she had nice dreams of open meadows, sunshine and the peaceful reassurance of promised love, peace and harmony "i slept fine.. how'd i get in here?"

He cocked an eyebrow and looked back at the doorway,"You had a pretty horrible nightmare last night. You screamed, nearly got me ready to kill someone, and you came running in here. You started to pat my chest, then the next thing I knew, you were asleep." He looked back down at Cj,"You sure you alright?"

she looked up at him, and blinked in utter confusion "what? i.. huh?" she couldnt remember any of it, she shivered then bit her lower lip before standing up, though, she couldnt stand not just yet, she collapsed and laughed stupidly "i didnt scream.. i.. i swear i'm fine.." she shook her head refusing to acknowledge the fact that her nightmares had escalated into terrors at some point during her life.

Miyuku took a deep breath and walked through the doors for the first time in her career. She smiled as she saw students running around, talking and some even flirting a bit. Miyuku looked around to see if she could find the office. She looked down at her map once more "oh..this is really confusing!" she exclaimed to herself.

He eased his way out of the bed, careful not to fall like Cj. He made his way over to her and helped her up, as he did he smelled something... odd. He looked around the room, taking in breath after breath, analyzing each one. He walked out to the porch, bringing Cj with him,"You smell that? It smells like death."

she was careful not to breathe "it's like.. it's horrible.." she cried out feeling her nose beginning to burn at this sensation alone, she hopped onto the railing and fell to the ground below, landing on the balls of her feet, then, about a second later she was standing before Miyuku "need help?" she was still in her pajamas, no shoes, no socks and slightly damp from the rain she'd blown through.

Miyuku stared wide eyed. She knew it was a bit rude..but she wondered "aren't you..well cold?" she asked the student curiously. "And yes..help would be nice..I'm trying to figure out where the main office is..since its my first day here as a administrator I thought I'd let them know I'm here" she said with a light smile, she offered the girl her coat. "Here take this..you can catch a cold if your not warm enough" Miyuku told her.

He tried to grab Cj before she ran off,"Cj, wai- Damn it Cj!" He hopped over the railing, landing without any sound, and immeadiatly took off in the direction Cj went. He easily found her standing in front of someone new,'So that's where the smell is coming from.' He kept his distance from the new girl. He did, however, walk up behind Cj to make sure she would be alright.

it didnt even occur to Char that she was cold, her entire body was cold. She blinked and refused the offer of the coat, she looked back at where she left zane and sighed when he was behind her a second later "you know.. i'm curious and faster than you so of course i'm going to see what causes certain scents" she was giggling stupidly by now "I'm okay.. i'm not cold.. really i'm fine" when she spoke to Miyuku, she spoke with a slight lisp caused by her elongated fangs. Her mouth was watering from the different scents of humanity flooding through her nose "how.. how can you get through this?" she asked turning back to zane worried that she was going to attack someone, then, back at the administrator "you.. are a teacher? or administrator?" in this school, there was an entire difference.

Miyuku shrugged and took her coat back. "okay if your positive your not cold" Miyuku said softly putting her coat back on. Miyuku looked back at the paper she was holding. "Oops.. sorry I guess I told you the wrong thing.. I'm an administrator here." she said nodding to herself in correction. She noticed the boy that had come behind the girl she was talking too.

Zane had grabbed Cj's pill bottle, the one where she had all the pills covered in deer blood. He took it out of his pocket and handed it to her,"Take some of these, you'll need them now." As he said that, he took out his own pill bottle and popped two tablets into his mouth. The new administrator probably hadn't been told about the experimental tablets yet, so he thought she was going to ask what they were. He looked out at the crowd of students, then back to Cj,"Most of them aren't very appetizing to me." He stated bluntly.

Miyuku stared at the boy. She debated with herself..]'should I ask..or should I not?'but in the end her curiosity got the best of her and she ended up opening her mouth and asking him "Are those pills safe for you guys?" she asked arching an eyebrow. She gave them a confused look when she heard the boy say "most of them aren't very appetizing to me".

her jaw set firmly in place after she took three of the hundred pills "i..did you find me appetizing?" she looked back over at the administrator "i.. uhm.. to tell the truth i'm perpetually cold now.." her voice trailed off, thoguh, she laughed stupidly afterward then sighed.

Another admin approached them, carrying an extra cloak as well as a list of details to share with the young Miyuku "excuse me miss. Are you our new admin?" this was the vampire male who had restrained zane the day before, who had ordered Cj be buried to save her. He sighed then bowed to the two "may be please borrow Miyuku for just a few short minutes?"

Char nodded "yes.. absolutely.." she caught a wiff of Zane, of what he smelled like with the pendant on and blushed a deep shade of red. She was beginning to take control of the situation and yet, he was absolutely intoxicating.

"Yes.. they keep us from attacking other students" she looked over at Miyuku with a small smile.

Miyuku smiled and took her coat off again.. "then here you need it more than I do..and don't worry about it..you guys will eventually grow unattached from my scent..after all..I am half reaper" she said grinning. Miyuku turned her head back to the man, from the looks of it..he seemed like a vampire too. She nodded and stuck her hand out. "Hello I'm Miyuku!" she said smilingly.

Zane nodded,'So, that's why she smells like death. If I know Eric, this'll attract him as well, we need to leave. He looked over at Cj,"We have to go, now." He grabbed her hand and started pulling her away from the new administrator. He hoped that they would get away from there before Eric showed up, if they didn't it wouldn't be pretty. Zane still wasn't strong enough to take Eric on by himself, he was still missing most of his strength. As long as he takes the pills daily though, he will get his strength back within a couple of months.
