"because" she said in a small whisper "i still smell human.. i still have the aroma you want.. and.. and i bit you" she let out a small sigh and crossed her legs, sitting across from him with a wide, lovely smile, that of joyous intent. She didnt want to harm him, to yell at him she merely wanted to hold him close to her, to comfort him "I'm.. sorry... it may have been because i.. i bit you first..."

He tried to keep some distance between himself and Cj. Something in his head was screaming,'Jump at her. Sink your fangs into her neck and drain her. You know you want to, just stop resisting and do it. You'll end up doing it sooner or later anyway.' He looked at Cj with a pleaful expression,"Why did this happen? You became a vampire because of me."

"not because of you.. you arent the one who sired me" she however did want him to be the one to take her life, she felt closer to him than to someone like Eric. Her jaw tensed when she looked down at him "please.. please it's okay" she pulled the pendant off, this caused the smell of her lost humanity to fade, she wrapped her arms around him and cradled him against her small body. She wanted to help in any way she could.

He pulled away from Cj, shaking his head violently and on the verge on tears. He started walking backwards away from her. He kept his hands out in front of him. He didn't want to do this, but he would have to leave her for a while,"Cj, I-I can't be around. I'll hurt you, I'm sorry. If you hadn't met me, you'd still be human. Eric wouldn't have had a reason to go after you in the first place." He turned around and headed back to the fighting class.

her head hung low, tears streamed down her face, forehead creasing she cried. The rain stopped but sky remained shrouded in clouds, she stood to her feet and ran off campus. She didnt care if she wasnt accompanied by an upper classmen, she didnt care if the administrators all went after her. She just wanted to get away, to mend her breaking heart.

While she ran, she didnt breathe, she had left her pendant sitting on the grass back in the forest. This wasnt the best idea and yet she didnt regret it. Her jaw set firmly in place.

Damien saw this, he sighed and ran after her, he was no match for the new vampire though, her strength was doubling, as well as her agility. When he was able to cover half the ground she was she disappeared from view.

When Zane got back to the area the fighting class used as it's grounds, he climbed into a tree and laid across one of the branches. He ignored the teacher's yellings and threats of expulsion. He tried thinking of something other than Cj, but couldn't keep his mind off of her. He put both his palms to his eye's as the tears came,"Damn it, what did I do?"

Damien finally caught up with her, tackled her to the ground and restrained her. When the small girl landed with a small thud against the concrete, she curled up crying softly. Damien's arms snaked around her, bringing her to her feet and holding her close to him. She buried her face into his chest, tucking her arms against him and crying more "it's okay.. it's okay.. tell me what happened"

she couldnt speak, she shook her head refusing to say anything. He picked her up, onto his back in a piggy back position and walked her back to the school, past the fighting class (which was the first field) and to her defense class. She cried all the way "i.. want to change out of my pajamas.." she whispered, he nodded and took her to her dorm, set her down and walked away "he hates me.." she muttered "he hates me a-and never wants to see me again.." this was enough to help her slip into a depressive state. She pulled on a black skirt, combat boots, corset and her trench coat..

By the time she made it back to her class it was over and the day was rotating back to lunch. She sighed and walked back into the school building, down the slender corridor and straight to the cafeteria.




[LUNCH TIME]

Zane was being escorted into the main office because had chosen not to do any of his fighting lessons. Apparently the fighting instructor followed through with his threats. He was being restrained the whole time, just in case he decided to try and run. He didn't even have the will power to raise his head, much less run. One of the administrators told him that lunch would be brought to him, that he could not leave until they decided what to do with him.

"Charlotte!" a voice called out to her, she looked back and it was damien "Zane's gong to be expelled soon. We need you to tell his innocence" she nodded in such a hollow fashion that it was apparent of how deeply she'd been hurt. She nodded and let out another sigh "lead the way.."

When they walked into where Zane was Char turned away, then, looked up at the administrators each with a small expression "He was wish me.. i attacked my own teacher and he came to keep it from happening again.. please dont punish him for my stupidity.."

The administrators nodded then looked down at zane "we are thinking you will be suspended for three days for skipping class without warning your teacher then refusing to participate during a scheduled fight." these were legitimate excuses to separate the two

Zane was surprised that they had brought Cj in, that Cj had actually complied with the administrators to even go see him. He didn't bother to raise his head to look at her, it would only make him feel worse, so he kept staring down at his feet. When they said he wouldn't be expelled, just suspended, he let out a sigh of relief. He looked up at the closest administrator to him, Damian,"Is this an internal suspension, or do I have to go home?" He didn't care if it was either one.

"Internal" he spoke with finality, though, when they were done with Char she had taken the chance to leave. She was gripping her triple cresent talisman, tears treaming down her face. She rushed down back toward the cafeteria, picked up whatever they were serving and sat down, head hanging low, face contorted in pain. She refused to feed, to use the tablets, she wasnt wearing her pendant meaning, she was not only a danger to herself but the people around her as well.

Damien kneeled down in front of zane and sighed "go talk to her.. you need to do it.. you need to apologize to her.. she's hungry and refuses to do anything about it.. she.. flushed the pills we have given her as well as abandoned her pendant. Zane you're the only one to keep her and this school safe" it sounded like a pathetic plea, like something you'd see in a chick flick, but as of now, Char was as dangerous as Eric.

He shook his head,"I-I can't. I can't risk hurting her any more than she already is." He dropped his head into his hands as he started sobbing. At the moment, external suspension sounded like a better idea to him,"J-just please, let me go home for the suspension. Keeping me here for suspension will only make things worse with Eric." Eric wouldn't do anything if Zane wasn't at the school. Zane wouldn't be anywhere near Cj and so Eric wouldnt' have any reason to bother her, or so he hoped.

"we cant risk him harming you off of school property so we're giving you the chance to make things better with her. Look, you need to stay on school property.. there have been attacks in the world outside of ours that keep us from sending any student home. Where do you think all of our upper classmen were the day you arrived? they were helping us retrieve the newers from riots.."

While Char sat looking down at her food Eric found her, sitting next to her. She immediately looked over at him growling low in her throat, he put his arm around her shoulders pulling her close "He hurts everyone he cares about. Dont worry about it i'm here for you" his voice was sweet, which, surprised her "get off of me" she growled and pushed him away, he smiled even more when he fell to the ground "stay way from me" she screamed, damien heard the thump, then the shriek and he rushed down the hall to find Char in a low crouch, ready to attack again "CHARLOTTE!" his voice boomed throughout the school when she propelled herself at him, landing with her mouth at his throat, slowly ripping him apart. Eric screamed just before Damien ripped Char off of him, transporting him away from the area, though, not following him he quickly restrained Char making sure she wasnt going to bring harm to anyone else.

After hearing all the yelling and screaming, Zane walked out and into the hallway where Damien was restraining Cj. He saw blood on the floor, but didn't have the will to think about who's it was. He stood there, staring at Cj, without an expression on his face, just like it had been for the past two hundred years,"Cj..." He didn't bother to even get the sentence started, it wouldn't do much good at this point.

her jaw tensed, she didnt have much of anything left, so, when she struggled against damien and broke free she ran at Zane, tackled him to the ground, pinned him there and sank her teeth into his neck, before she could drink Damien had her against the ground. Her cheek was pressing against the cool linoleum while she calmed, she looked over at Zane then shifted her head so she was no longer facing him "go home zane.. dont come near me.." she whispered unwilling to feel anything but the hole in her chest aching, she no longer considered herself to have a heart.

He got back as if nothing had happened and started walking in the direction of the dorms, so he could get the few things he had,"I was just leaving." He used a leveled tone, with no emotion. As he reached the door to go outside to the path way that led to the dorms, he looked back at Cj, then Damien and walked out without a word. He ran off to his dorm, he wanted to get out of this school as fast as possible.

"you dont have that permission!" he yelled, released Char but placed four others in charge of her to keep her from doing anything she'd regret with a century's time. He ran after Zane and tackled him to the ground "Dont you dare leave her like this.. dont be a coward about this" he knew he wouldnt listen to reason so, he brought Eric with him, he had healed and was now in a good frame of mind. Eric's eyes narrowed at Zane, he wanted to kill him, but, sometimes, the word of an enemy did more than actions "you've hurt her.. i did it to get your attention and you pushed away the one person who can stand you" he shook his head, walked up to the boy and punched him in the face as hard as he could "you're a dumbass, Zane you need to go back and apologize to her before she hates you"when Eric spoke, his voice was confident, harsh and yet truthful.

When Eric, of all people, punched him in the face and his head jerked back and into the ground, he felt a warm liquid come out of his nose. He felt under his nostrils and pulled his fingers back to see that they both had blood on them. He looked up at Eric,"Why are you doing this... brother?" He hated calling him that, but it was something that he needed to call him this time. He squirmed out from under Damien and sat up, still looking up at Eric.

"because, you've screwed your own life over again, you need to go back to her and apologize.. she's really hurt.. you didnt see the look in her eyes did you? Brother.. you've hollowed her out.." he knelt down to Zane, pulling out a black silk handkerchief and wiped away the blood which spilled from his nose "go back to her.. If not for yourself than for her.." it was hard for Eric to talk in such a soft tone especially to zane, someone he had tried to kill for years "dont think.. just act on what your heart is saying, not your instincts" he helped the boy up to his feet and lightly patted his chest where his heart still sits. Damien watched this with slight amusement, with little interest and more concern than all of the administrators combined.

He grunted,"Fine, but I'm doing it my way." He started back for the building, but he didn't go through the door he came out from. He went into a door that would put him behind Cj. He opened, and closed it, silently so that not even another vampire could hear it. He walked towards Cj, without making a single sound, and slipped through the few administrators that were with her. He wrapped his arms around her, holding onto his own wrists so that if she tried to break free, she couldn't,"Cj, please forgive me. I know I really hurt and I'm sorry."

When arms wrapped around her and she growled low in her throat, that of primal instinct. Her jaw tenses though when zane's scent flooded her nose she let out a small, choked cry. She didnt know what to do, how to react, the tears came, flooding her through her with such calming that she nodded unable to look at him "why would you push me away like that!? NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" she was now yelling at him, letting zane keep his hold on her. They watched the events unfold. Watching char's expression shift from hollow to hurt, from dead to alive all in just a matter of minutes.

When Cj finished yelling, the second she finished yelling, Zane spun her around to face him and he kissed her,"Just stop talking." He was hugging her now, gently so she was comfortable. He knew that their relationship would exactly be the same after this, but he hoped that they would, at least, still have a relationship. Zane wasn't too happy about being told what to do by his brother, but he did have to give credit where credit was due.

Her eyes widened, she blushed and kissed him back. chills rushed down her back and the tears swept down her cheeks further, she wriggled her arms free and wrapped them around his sides, when he pulled back from the kiss she buried her face in his chest crying slightly more, she gasped before calming herself "please.. please dont leave me.." she begged holding onto him tighter, anticipating him to pull away. She wouldnt let him.

Eric laughed and shook his head, walking up behind them both and nodded "i'll chill out.. until you least expect it" he gave a playful wink then walked down toward the lunch room, disappearing into the sea of people.

He nodded and rested his chin on her head, but kept it so that she would still be comfortable,"I won't." He whispered, barely loud enough for her to hear. It was mostly a promise to himself though, he would never leave anyone he cared about again. Unfortunately, his nose was now throbbing from when Eric had punched him. It also twitched every few seconds, which felt very weird to Zane.

"are.. you okay?" she noticed the feint scent of blood wafting over the both of them, it was appetizing but concerning she looked up at him, noticed the redness of his nose and shook her head "a-..w-what happened?" was the only thing she was able to ask before lightly pressing her index finger to his nose, using her magic to help him heal, to relieve him of pain.
