He moved his hand so he could touch the bridge of his nose,"Y-yeah, I'm fine, don't worry. It doesn't even hurt that bad." That was a lie, when he touched his nose, a small wave of pain shot through it and he flinched from it. When she healed it, he grabbed her hand, gently, and brought it back down and rested it by her waist,"Stop using your magic so much, I've seen what it does to you."

"but.. it.." she smiled shyly and gently wrapped her arms around his neck "it wasnt that much y'know" this was a lie she had a large amount of her own energy missing from this, she let out a small sigh before yawning widely, giggling and kissing his lips once before blushing a vibrant red "i..is it really that apparent when i use too much of it?" she knew the answer but needed some clarification.

He ran his thumb over the bruise that had appeared on the base of her neck, near her collar bone,"Yes, it's very apparent." He talked in a mocking, playful tone. He tried to pull away from her, but found that her grip was too strong at the moment. So, he tightened his grip around her waist and lifted her up,"Come on, I'm hungry. For human food for some reason." He walked, while carrying her, to the lunch room.

she had released him as soon as he picked her up, she blushed deeply before lightly gripping her own stomach, her mouth was flooding with saliva at the scent of human food "same here.. for the strangest reason i mean this hasnt happened to me since i was uhm turned" she hated that phrase and didnt understand how much until she used it herself. She wrinkled her nose then giggled stupidly "what do you want to get?" she wanted to tell him so much and yet it was extremely early.

He put Cj down once they got into the lunch room and looked around, smelling what they had at the same time,'Pizza, lasagna, subs, chicken parm... Chicken parm!?' He took in a deep breath of the chicken parm and walked off to the line that was serving it. He looked back at Cj,"Uh, sorry. I used to really love chicken parm..."

she laughed and shook her head finding slight amusement in his reaction "I dont blame you, it's a good meal!" her nose wrinkled however at the thought of anything else, except for lasagna, though, if it wasnt her mother's she refused to eat it. It had been years since anyone made anything that even came close to matching the taste "Mind if i get in line with you?" She looked over at all the other students laughing while they stared at them "do i have something on my face? why're they staring?" she patted herself down then looked up at him, there was nothing wrong with him, nothing stuck to his face, front or back.. so it must've been her, right?

He pulled Cj into the line by her hand, not bothering to look at the other students. When they got in the line, he turned around to face Cj,"Just ignore them. They're staring, because there aren't that many vampires in this school, much less one's with pink hair. Plus, they are most likely staring at me, because a few of them probably saw Eric punch me and went around telling everyone that there was a fight." He shrugged and turned around just as the line moved up.

She smiled and nodded agreeing with him, she held his hand for a short while when he pulled her up with him she giggled stupidly blushing a deeper shade of red. The scents of humanity were distracting her from the overwhelming scent of chicken Parmesan, so, she closed her eyes and moved closer to him, before she knew it she was pressed against him burying her face into his chest in a last ditch effort to distract herself.

When Cj pulled into his chest and her smell hit him, it overwhelmed ever other smell in the room. Even though he had spent this much time with her, he still wasn't used to her scent. It was like there were slight changes in her scent, so every time she went near Zane, it'd be like a new scent, but it smelled exactly the same. He breathed in one, quick, enjoyable whiff and turned his head away,"Come on, we're almost at the front of the line." He walked with her to get the food, keeping her to his chest.

she blushed more and refused to move at first, until he moved them, then she complied. She let out a small yawn before pulling away from him having gotten enough of his scent to fill her nose, to distract her from the others and enjoy the delicious aroma of chicken and cheese. This caused her mouth to water and stomach to growl angrily, cursing her for not eating anything this morning, let alone for not drinking blood and popping the blood pills. Her stomach wanted to reject the synthetic blood in her stomach but, it wouldnt, not so soon.

Zane grabbed his tray and watched as the two people serving the food backed away from the counter when he reached for the tray. The sight made him chuckle and shake his head, mockingly. He put the tray to his nose and took in a deep breath, using it to avert his attention from Cj's scent. He went to the register, paid for his food and waited for Cj to do the same. As he waited, he looked out across the lunch room. Most of the students were staring at him, the rest had gone back to talking to one another,'Probably starting rumors now.' He sighed and rolled his eye's.

she wasnt doing too well with the eyes on her, with the small whispers people were throwing, before char could stop it she let out a gutteral sound, that of primal instinct and whirled around staring at those who were attempting to start rumors "Stop!" she begged, hands gripping her temples "please.." she whimpered, and, when they paused only to talk more she shrieked. One of the very many lunch ladies handed her a bottle of something, she took it and without asking downed it's contents. The room began to spin, with wide eyes she laughed "whoa.."

Zane grabbed Cj, to steady her and stop her before she walked into a crowd of students. He took the bottle from her hand and read the label. He wasn't big on alcohol, but the one word that stood out the most was vodka. Getting a tighter grip on the bottle, he looked up at the lunch lady that had given it to Cj and threw it at her head, but missed and it shattered against the wall behind her. He got a better grip on Cj and took off her pendant, so that her vampire blood would wash out the alcohol in her system faster.

she was sober in just a few seconds she wasnt happy about what had happened,s he should have been more careful and yet, she had drank from a bottle of unknown origin "i'm.. sorry.." she was ashamed of this part of her, that she'd been so careless but the food did smell wonderful, she slowly slid her pendant out of his hands, put it on and kissed his lips, when she pulled away she took the dish down from the counter (which she had to look up at) and payed for her meal "which table do you want to sit at?"

He still wasn't used to being kissed by Cj, so he blushed a light shade of red. Plus the fact that her lips left a delicious taste on his, didn't make things any easier. He quickly regained his composure, cleared his throat and looked around the lunch room for an empty table. Of course, he found one in the back corner of the lunch room. He pointed it out to Cj,"T-that one good?"

"Looks good!" she exclaimed taking her food with her she slowly paced away toward the table, when she looked back at Zane she noticed something rather strange. Her eyes widened and she blushed deeply "are you alright?" her jaw tensed when she saw his show of masculinity "uhh.. uh.." she raised an eyebrow to him, before sitting down "what's that?" she motioned to his 'display' then decided it'd be better to ask another question "nevermind! anyhow.. are you going to join me?" her voice was sweet, adorable, loving.

When she kissed him, almost every time, her body grew hotter, cheeks redder, mind entered a fog, she couldnt think straight, it was like someone inebriated her then snapped her back into reality, forcing her through these steps not only once but several times over.

His face heated up and turned the same color of his hair. He sat down and placed his forehead on the table with his food next to his head. He turned his head, so he was now resting on his cheek, to look at Cj,"Please ignore what you saw." He took off his jacket and placed it over his lap before sitting back up and taking slow, measured bites of his food. Every now and then he would look back up at Cj.

she tilted her head and giggled stupidly at what he was doing, she leaned over and kissed him again not fully understanding what was happening, why he was acting so awkward. She hadnt been taught anything about sex or vampires, so, she was extremely clueless "uhhm.. are you okay?" she was eating small portions as well finding it absolutely irresistible to lick her lips every so often, clearing it of either sauce or cheese "this is really good!" she giggled again wrinkling her nose in the utmost adorable manner.

After Zane had finished his food and calmed down, he got up and threw away his tray, stealing some kids apple on the way back to the table. He sat down and took a huge bite out of it. Cj would probably say something about him stealing it, but he always loved apples and they weren't selling them in the line they went into. He turned around in his seat, so that he was facing the rest of the lunch room, and looked around at all of the students eating, talking, and insulting each other. When he saw the two kids that were insulting each other, he leaned forward in his seat,'Oh, this could get interesting.' Zane may be a nervous wreck, but he still like watching fights, just like every other high school student.

char, having grown bored with this, stood up and put her tray away. She walked back over to Zane, kissed his lips and stole his apple, she took a bite from it and ran from the lunch room, wanting to 'play' with him. Her nose wrinkled, grin grew, and fangs glinted in the light. She took another bite from it though half way down the hall her foot came out from under her and she was on the ground in no time, laughing wildly and rolling to her back "ow" she shook her head feeling the small bruise forming on her left elbow.

He watched in amusement as Cj stole his apple and ran out of the lunch room. He shook his head,'Oh boy, this should be fun...' He sighed and dropped his head as he lazily got up from the table and followed her out of the lunch room. He saw her down the hallway, laying on the ground. He was almost at the point of panicking, then he heard he laughing and let out a sigh of relief. He walked over to her, took his apple from her and took another bite from it before lifting her up,"You are such a very clumsy person, you know that?"

"yes but it comes in handy" she tackled him to the floor, sat upon his abdomen and kissed his lips, pinning him in place. She giggled stupidly before tilting her head and staring down at him "See? it came in handy!" she giggled more and shook her head, wanting to playfully bite him and yet, she couldnt do anything of the sort for fear of him biting her, tasting her blood and going out of control, so, she instead slyly picked up his apple and ran down the hall, around the corner and into someone, a small thud then she was on her back again "GAH!" she laughed againa nd again until she managed to pull herself to her feet "why do i keep doing that?!" the person she ran into stood up himself and brushed himself off "because you dont watch where you are going" the voice was smooth, sly, cunning... it was eric.

Zane had jumped up the minute Cj ran off with his apple again and chased her down the hall. When he came to the corner she turned at, he lost his footing and slid into the wall, but before he did he had enough time to say,"Eric?" Then hit the wall, hard. He groaned, loudly as he got back up and inspected the damage he had done. He had left a few big cracks in the wooden wall, he hoped that they wouldn't charge him for it, it looked like pretty expensive wood. He turned around to look at Eric, keeping a hand behind his back with a switch blade in it,"What brings you here?" A stupid question to ask, since it was lunch time and they were only a few halls away from the lunch room.

Eric laughed and took the apple from Char, handed her an orange and grinned "wel i was going to each lunch when your mate ran into me" he shook his head laughing more this startled char, she was backing away from then by the time Eric had slipped past them, to walk halfway down the hall and straight to the lunchroom "behave yourselves please!" he called back to them, winking and once more disappearing into the sea of people.

Char looked down at the orange and offered it to him, when he declined her jaw tensed, she stared intently at the citrus fruit, and, before they both knew it she was on her knees holding an apple, a large bruise on the front of her chest. she let out a winded cry, gripping where the mark had formed, attempting to regain her breath "h..here.." she handed it to him.

He ignored the offer for the apple and picked her up off the ground, he had slipped the switchblade into his back pocket,"You alright?" He was caring and concerned at the moment for Cj. He started for the infirmary, the teachers wouldn't let her skip the next class without a reason and if she had fighting next, Zane didn't want her in there bruised,"Come, I'm taking you to the infirmary so you have a legitimate reason to skip your next class."
