She moved closer to him, shivered from the kiss to the puncture wounds and smiled happily, the same feeling returned, she felt her body growing in heat, that which spread through her limbs and kept the same shade of red bright on her cheeks "No, you didnt hurt me.. you scared me half to death but you didnt hurt me" she whispered wanting to pin him where he was and kiss him one-hundred times over, cry in his arms, something to show how truly happy she was to know he was alright "are you hurt? you hit the tile pretty hard"

That's when Zane noticed the throbbing on the side of his head. He placed his hand there and pulled it away to see if he was bleeding. He held his up so Cj could see,"I'm fine, see no blood. Now though, I have a major headache." His thoughts drifted to the hunter's and why the random attack. He figured that they were just finding out how good the security is at the school, and they probably have. If there is a big enough ruckus going on, all of the admins will go there, leaving all the students vulnerable. The hunter's already have a plan, now all they needed was a time.

She nodded slowly looking up into his eyes to determine if he really was alright, when she saw what she needed she smiled absently and helped him to his feet, slowly standing to hers "why dont you lay down and i'll get you something to drink" she pulled off her pendant and handed it to him, his was yanked off when the hunter had him by the neck, slowly squeezing the life from him "Human food will help with that headache" she said in a sweet tone, walked over to him for half a second to kiss his lips before she ran off to the kitchen, however, when she made it there something smacked her across the side of the head, and hard. Enough to render unconscious instantly, her body hit the floor with a small 'thwack', it was a hunter, none of them who were in top command but a lower one, someone to send a message to Zane.

She was weak from not having fed, while she lay there he cut her wrist open, using her blood to write a message on the wall, it was in a different language, one that only zane could understand. It's premise however was 'we have what you want. You know what to do'

Zane had blacked out again when Cj went into the kitchen. When he woke up again, his head hurt even more and he could smell blood. He was too disorientated at the moment to figure out who's blood it was, but when he followed the scent into the kitchen and saw the message on the wall, he knew it was Cj's blood. He kept himself calm and looked down at his left arm. He held his arm in front of him, palm up, and rolled up his sleeve. He several scars on his arm,'If I do this, I'm not going to have enough room to count all the hunter's I've killed.' He took off his jacket and started for the door to his dorm. There was only one problem about going after the hunter's. How would he get off campus without the administrators noticing? As he opened up the door, he remembered the pendant that was still on his neck. He took it off and gently laid down on a small table near the door. He set out for the main entrance to the campus grounds. If he was lucky, he could just walk right off the campus and go after the hunter's without anyone trying to stop him.

Unfortunately Damien was the one who saw Zane sneaking off campus, he ran after him abandoning Miyuku in the administrator's hall. His jaw tensed before he slowed to a stop just mere feet behind him "Zane, you're going to need this" he spoke softly handing him a large, freshly sharpened katana "You'll know how to use it, just dont think about it" he muttered, dropped the weapon into his hands and ran back off distracting others so the boy could make his escape.

In their 'lair' of sorts, Cj sat, bound to a wooden chair bleeding from her left temple, right corner of her mouth and both wrists. They had been draining her for their own sick pleasure "he cant save you now" one of them spoke, raking the dull blade of a pocket knife across her delicate porcelain skin "Well, he wont" the hunter's voice was was a rasping, horrible sound.

As Zane continued to walk off the campus, knowing that Damien was making a distraction for him, he unsheathed the katana and looked it over. The bottom of the pommel had the Rickshaw insignia on it. The blade itself was red, with a thin black line going down the side of it. After he finished looking over the katana, he sheathed it. He fastened it to his back and made sure it wouldn't fall off when he ran at full speed to find Cj. After sniffing around for a few minutes, he found what he thought was her blood's scent, and followed it.

Cj screamed when the blade was pressed to her neck, she writhed in pain when the cold metal cut into her flesh allowing the dark blood to flow free, they collected it with yet another small jar, but why? She didnt know what was happening to her until her head lulled back, eye lids slid shut, her body was dieing all over again, without any blood in her system, she wouldnt function, even though she wore no pendant, she still needed the blood.

The hunter's gathered around her, attempting to keep her alive, when she began to slip away one of them panicked "how're we going to get him here with her dead?!" he screamed that's when footsteps sounded from the back, outside, the rustling of fallen leaves and then the steady breath of someone sniffing the air. He was here. And so, they prepared.

Zane took in one last whiff of the air, to make sure she was in the building in front of him. Like usual, the hunter's weren't very creative about picking a hideout. They were in an abandoned, two story building with the windows boarded up and the front door hanging off it's hinges, all in all, it looked like a crappy haunted house. He slowly walked up the few front steps to the door, he had one hand on the bottom of the katanas sheath to keep it steady, and another on the katanas handle. As he walked into the building, he drew the katana about two inches out of it's sheath and looked around the area, waiting for something to move.

Another scream echoed out from where Cj sat, they stuck three needles under her skin draining the last bit of her blood, or, as much as they could of it before her power struck them down. When this happened four of them were sent flying out toward Zane. One landed with a thud while the other skidded across the floor, teeth chattering with nerves "how the hell did she do that!?" he shrieked unaware that he was just mere feet from Zane.


"Look up" the other said "see where you are!" Cj arched her back before finally letting her mind haze, she slipped into the shadows which, were now her life.

Zane heard Cj scream and as he started to follow the sound of her scream, he saw the four hunter's come flying out at him. He ducked just in time as one of them flew over his head and slammed into the wall. When he saw one hunter skid to a stop in front of him, he grabbed him by the ankle and flung him across the room and into an extremely old mirror. He walked into the room that all the hunter's were sent flying out of, katana now in hand, and looked around for Cj.

All the hunters were hiding at this point, like the cowards they are, she was no longer tied to the chair, she was however bound like an animal in the center of the concrete floor, bleeding out but barely "Z.." she coughed unable to move "everything hu..r..ts" she cried, this time was water, not blood. Her body was dieing at an accelerated rate, she desperately needed to feed "they'..re hiding.." she whimpered

Zane walked closer Cj, ignoring what she said. Just by looking at her, he knew what she needed and he was the only one willing to give her blood. He walked right up next to her and gently lifted her up. He held her so she could bite into his neck and feed. He moved them so that he had his back against a wall and the katana laying to his left. He materialized a desert eagle and held it in his right hand,"Cj, you need to drink. I don't care how much you refuse, but you need to drink."

"n..no i..i cant" she cried biting her lower lip. Her jaw tensed but when she attempted to pull away from him nothing happened, she instead leaned closer to him, lips against his neck then fangs pressing into his skin. His blood flooded her mouth, she jerked back then licked the wound clean, drinking as much as she could before his wound closed, tears were streaming down her face by the time she was full "n..no m-more..." she coughed leaning against him, hands and feet still bound, hands behind her back, wounds refusing to heal "Th..they have blades.. that'll cut you.. b..but you wont heal.. zane.. r..un please" she was still extremely weak

Zane propped Cj against a wall and picked up the katana and slipped the gun on the backside of his waistband. He held up the katana horizontally so Cj could see all of it,"And I have this." Was all he said before he started looking for the hunter's. He was cautious with every step he took. He didn't know how many hunter's were in the building, so he was practically going in blind.

when a hunter leaped out from the shadows, Cj shrieked, eyes losing all color, he froze in mid air, blinking and wide eyed she passed out from over-exertion. When she did, the hunter fell to the floor, face first with a loud smack he groaned and rolled to his side looking up at Zane, jumping to his feet in a narrow attempt to save his hide he brought out his only weapon, attempting to defend himself from any attack.

Zane growled at the hunter who appeared between him and Cj. He swung the katana vertically with all his strength and it easily cut through the hunter's weapon and into him. The hunter was sent flying back and into a wall, death overtaking him. He turned around just in time to Shade walk through a wall and into the room,"Stupid human." As Zane spoke he pulled out his gun as Shade rushed him. Zane swung at Shade with the katana, and just as he expected Shade ran through him. Zane whipped his body around and raised his gun as Shade turned around, and pulled the trigger, the bullet going clean through Shade's shoulder. The impact sent Shade to the ground, holding his shoulder.

Zane heard a loud banging coming from above and three more hunter's, literally came crashing down through the ceiling. One of them was the big hunter who had pinned Zane to the wall earlier that day. Zane didn't recognize the shortest of the hunter's, a woman with short, onyx black hair. He did however recognize the man standing between both of them and cursed himself,"Vance. The leader of the hunter's. I thought you died about sixty year's ago?" Vance looked about twenty five, but was actually over seven hundred year's old. He was a vampire of major power and skill.

Zane turned to where Cj was,"Run." As he spoke, he raised his gun to the big hunter who had made the hole in the ceiling.

Damien, having followed Zane shortly after distracting the rest f the admins, rushed into the building, constantine on his left and kai on his right. Even though kai was short in stature, she was one of the strongest people in her school.

When they all found the scene unfolding Kai rushed over to Cj, untied her and helped her to her feet running out of the building, forcing her to keep looking forward so she wouldnt look back to see zane being injured or worse.

Constantine took his place next to the boy, Damien on the opposite side "Fellas, you've kidnapped one of our students, and began hunting another, would you like to explain why?" Constantine's voice was low, angry and powerful. It shook everyone to their core, walls vibrating, ears ringing, he was a monster of a man, even more when angered.

Vance let out a loud mocking laugh at Constantine and looked between his two comrades. He pushed them both forward and spoke in a loud and clear voice,"Now, show them why you held back, back at the school." Vance took a step back and gave Zane, Damien, and Constantine a devilish smile.

When Zane saw that devilish smile, he knew Vance wasn't bluffing about the big hunter holding back. Involuntarily he took a step back and the gun shook in his hand. If the hunter could pin him with one hand, while holding back, imagine what he could do at full power,"Uh, you guy's, I think it's time to get out of here."

Constantine sprouted mighty wings and wrapped around them no sooner did this happen in a flash of lightening they were gone, this blinded the hunters, his energy was not one that could be read, a second later they were in a remote location, one near the school and yet, not exactly on school property, one where Cj was sitting on the center of the floor draining packet after blood packet, there were at least five empty packets sitting by her "Zane?" Kai asked slightly out of breath, her feline ears perking and tail slowly swaying "Do you need to feed as well?"

Damien let go of constantine who, in turn was outside, searching the area to make sure they hadnt been followed "Give them the rings" he demanded, kai nodded and unveiled two silver rings, one for each of them "You two need to wear these, it gives you all the strengths of being a vampire but also some of the weaknesses of humanity, you two can feed off of eachother and yet, if one of you is pinned by the neck you're not going to be in any danger, you'll be able to twist free without any problems"

When Zane realized what had just happened and before he could realize where he was, he dropped to his knee's and hunched over. He was almost ready to hurl, he wasn't used to being teleported like that. After his little episode passed and he registered what everyone was saying, he took one of the rings and slipped it onto his right ring finger. He got up and stumbled over to Cj and sat down next her, wrapping his arms around her.

she weakly leaned against him, blood seeping from her parted lips, she swallowed what she could, slipped the ring on her index finger then sighed in content "are.. you alright?" her voice was strained, body shivering and colder than usual, just after she asked her question, she passed out still leaning against him with her full body weight.

Miyuku followed behind Damien stumbling the first time he pulled her along. Her mind was off wandering, thinking of ways to deal with Eric. "Damien..what exactly are yougoing to do to Eric?" She asked him still imagining and wondering. As she still tagged along behind Damien she wondered where Eric was now, then she realized that he had stopped, they had stopped she looked around and realized that they were in the administrators hall. She was about to protest, and argue that she wanted to go with him..but she quickly decided against it. She just simply hugged him tightly and told him "come back safe and sound..okay?" She smiled up at him.

It had been awhile since she was waiting for Damien to come back, she was pacing up and down and occasionally looking out the window to see if his figure emerged from the forest.

As Cj passed out and leaned her full weight onto him, Zane wrapped his arm around her shoulder. At least he knew that she was alright. Even though she wasn't awake, Zane whispered into her hear,"Yeah, I'm fine." He laid her down on the ground and rested her head in his lap. He stroked her cheek with the back of his hand to soothe her into a more peaceful sleep.

While cj slept, her thoughts were no longer centered around what happened, the torture she sustained. She rolled to her side, squirmed then sat up rubbing the back of her neck, thick scars cluttering her wrists "What time is it?" she looked all around the room until her gaze fell upon Zane, she shot straight up then tackled him to his back "are you alright?!" she whimpered

Damien was staring at his feet whimpering at the thought of what would happen to him, let alone miyuku, the hunters were strong but could they be defeated?

Zane hadn't expected to get tackled, especially not by Cj, so when she tackled him she knocked him the ground. When he saw that she was alright, he wrapped his arms around her waist and let her lay on his chest,"Well, I'm glad to see that your feeling better. Couldn't you have given me some sort of warning before you tackled me though?"
