Shu walked into the cafeteria and grabbed a full breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, and some milk. "Now this is a real breakfast. One for a man." He said to himself as he found a seat on the far side of the cafeteria, avoiding looking around at the other students, out of sight of people. He didn't really want much company. I wonder where Rin is right now. He mused.

While Rin was picking at her muffin she was looking around the cafateria she thought it was amusing how she was the only one with ears and tail in the whole room.Finally when Rin took the last bite of her muffin she stood up and threw it in the trash.Rin streched and started to head out the door,she was going to search the halls for Shu. Rin didnt know that he was in the back of the cafeteria.

Shu finished his breakfast quickly. He didn't want to wait too long before going off to find Rin. He cleaned up hit plate and headed out of the cafeteria and into the halls in search of his love interest.

Rin started to search the halls.After a while she decided to search for his scent.
Got him!
Rin started to run in the direction his scent was coming from.

"After a meal like that, I feel like I should take a nap," He laughed. "maybe I will just go back to the tree." Shu took off back onto the grounds and swung himself, branch by branch back into the tree. He sat in the same spot he did the night before with Rin.
I hope I get to see her soon, I really miss her.

Soon Rin was outside,she knew that Shu was close ,finally she decided to rest under the tree where Shu and her sat upon last night.Rin sighed wondering about Shu.

Shu heard a noise below him, like someone walking through the grass. He looked down and saw Rin sitting at the base of the tree. Maybe I can surprise her. He thought, grinning. Shu slowly climbed down the tree until he was just above her head, hanging on to the tree by only his legs. Shu poked the top of Rin's head, "Hi". He said to the unsuspecting girl.

Rin jumped she stood up and say Shu waving to her."Shu why did you do that I've been looking every were for you." Rin puts her hands on her hips."That wasent funny." Rin giggles

"I found it to be particularly hilarious. But okay." He said as he pushed off of the tree to land in front of Rin. "I missed you, Rin." He admitted as he hugged her.

" Me to." Rin laughed as she herd herself say something like this.Rin hugged Shu tightly.

"What's the laugh for?" He asked, suddenly serious. "Is it strange that you missed me? Or rather, someone like me?"

Rin looked up at Shu suprised by his question."No well sorta I mean I havent been a very people person after my family died so it just suprised me a little that these words our coming out of my mouth thats all."

"If you say so. Did you already eat breakfast? I just came from the cafeteria." He said, changing the subject.

Rin just nodded her head afraid to say anymore.Rin let go of Shu and sat down next to the tree.

"Oh come one, why the sad look on your face?" Shu sat down next to Rin. "I tell you that I love you and you are upset? I'm have to tell ya, I am confused." He said, trying to lighten the mood.

Rin playfully punched Shu in the arm."I am not sad I was just thinking thats all."Rin smiled and laughed."I'm sorry that I confused you."

"Would you like to tell me what you are thinking about? I would love to hear it." He smiled, looking at Rin.

Rin laughes "I was thinking about the dance thats all." Rin closed her eyes trying to picture how everything would look like tonight.

Paige wandered around the halls, rin was no doubt with shu, "i wonder where hiroku is" she whispered she walked to her dorm and looked at herself in the mirror. "those guys were only after rin. not me. shes gorgeous im ordinary"

"The dance is going to be great. I promise. And even though I haven't seen your dress, I know that you are going to look amazing." Shu said as he kissed Rin's cheek.

"Yeah I know but I never really been to something like this,before this school I just wondered around from place to place.I didn't really talk to people because I was afraid of something bad was going to happen.But this is the first place I feel like I can open up to people and have friends." Rin smiled at Shu

"Well, you shouldn't worry about the dance. And I feel the same way about being here. People here seem nice enough to accept us. When exactly is the dance?" Shu asked. He had never really bothered to ask about the time, he only knew that it was today.

"I dont really know either but I know Paige told me about it so she must know what time it is."Rin laughed she didnt even think about what time the dance was.With that Rin jumped up and pulled Shu up."Let's go ask."

"Okay." Shu replied without arguing. He let Rin pull him along through the school.

"Now were is that girl."Rin let go of Shu's hand."Sorry."
