Hanabi was ready to run in and get any student out of the way that seriously needed the help. She wouldn't interfere otherwise. The moment she saw the beast go towards Caden and the angel she leapt to the rescue, jumping through the flames the other student had conjured. She nodded to the Angel and took Caden on to her back and took her a good distance away, but close enough to still see the action. She gently manuvered Caden so she was laying up against a tree and readied herself if another student needed help as well.
|
Chinatsu tried to run from the serpent, but one of it's "buddies" starting chasing her, and it attacked her. She desperately tried to defend herself, and she finally gathered her strength and flew up to it's heart, stabbing it repeatedly. The snake hissed, and took Chinatsu in it's jaws, shaking her back and forth like a ragdoll. "H-HEEEELLLP!!!!" she screamed, trying to free herself from the snake's jaws.
|
Groggily Caden looked through heavily lidded eyes, to see the battle before her as well as Ms. Tensaki protecting her. "Thanks miss..."
Caden looked around her and above her trying find something that might help the battle go into their favour and hopefully get the reptile to drop Chinastu before it seeped its paralysis venom. Looking up above the trees, Caden saw a hive with little crawling insects around them. Focusing on it Caden saw that it was a spider's nest, with many spiders crawling all over it. 'Must be a High Maze inhabitant. They look cool.' Caden thought, poking the teacher to get her attention and pointing up towards the spider's nest. "Can you try getting that down onto the Serpent's tail? I think...yawn... the spider's up their are territorial and will attack in groups. If you can't get Legato to do it. Yawn." Caden managed to say before sleeping again. Legato began charging up at the creature, using his tail to whack the Serpent at the bacl of the neck, resulting it letting go of Chinatsu. There he sped of to grab the angel with his tail, holding her in his tail's grasp to protect her. Since he got his sword back from the narcoleptic Caden, he would be able to use it against the Serpent's whips. |
Chinatsu's eyes widened when Legato caught her in his tail, and she was scared to death that she was going to die. She was severely injured from the monster's teeth, and she was bleeding heavily.
The snake hissed, and charged at Legato, looking infuriated. |
Ice flipped backwards and shot a arrow in to the serpent's mouth She then doused herself with water to get the sweat off her body. Then dashing at a wolf like creature she sliced it in half with her sword. then looking at the angel she shouted "Curar ahora!" and healed the angel's wounds.

[[Ah Darkheart, I'm thinking you're beginning to God mod here a little bit, because I did say that Catgeory 6 monsters are hard to beat down, unsually taking a team effort, and your character just took it down. Please read the posts before it and you'll see that there is only one serpent and that it is charging at Legato.]]
|
<sorry! it was meant for right before it grabbed Chinatsu and ice hit a different creature with her sword>
|
[[That's okay please note that it is physically impposible to get in between spit and anything else, whilst this maybe a fantasy roleplay, this is not the matrix and I'm trying to get this to be somewhat realistic if possible. Try editing your post to suit the ones before the last one and give your character some flaws. So far she is display abilities like that of a Mary Sue and God modder, sorry to be critical but that is how I'm see it. So describe your mosnters more as to allow the pther rpers to know what monster you are fighting]]

Lee watched in awe as the others fought off, tagging close behind all the action but afraid to jump into any of it. It's not that she was afraid to loose, just afraid she'd hurt someone. In her form, she tended to get out of control and attack others frequently, and now wasn't the time to do that since she barely new these people. She got up from her hiding area, and looked shyly over at...his name was Caden, "Do you need any help?" She asked, hoping that the situation was under control.
|
Hanabi shivered at the thought of Spiders and was glad to see another student. She pointed up with her tail to indicate the spiders hopefully the student understanding about them. She dare not change right now back to her humanoid form.
|
Lee's attention was taken elsewhere, or at least close by to another fighting party.
Well, for one thing, the opposing member was a giant spider, and the...person?...who was getting her attention Lee didn't recognize. Probably because she was a bit oblivious to whatever when on around her. She hadn't really minded spiders, it was just that fighting anything would almost scare her to death. She had learned to fight with swords...swords are knifes.... She froze at the thought, but instantly shook it away and reached over to her back shoulder... No time to think about that, you got in this fight because you're just so curious... Before entering, Lee thought it was probably a good idea to bring a sheathed sword, even though it dreaded her to do so. If she got in a battle, it was better then turning into her wolf form. Holding her sword in a shaky hand, Lee ran over behind the cover. She was pretty quick, but the spider monster could see sense her presence anyhow. Of course, by then, she was already at the base of it's legs. |
Hanabi shook her head, the child obviously misunderstanding her. She sighed and juped up in the tree, being very cautious as she grabbed the nest and kicked it hard towards the serpant. then franticlyy running around rubing around the tree as if spiders were on her, which they werent.
|
((Don't worry, hanab, i'm fully aware there was a misunderstanding ;D ))
If Lee's friend was here, both of them could probably take one down in minutes. Of course, she wouldn't be, but that wasn't the main worry. As the hairy fangs of the beast lunged toward her, Lee ducked and tipped her weapon up to slice the left fang off. The right one, though, managed to slide over and dig into Lee's arm. The first blow sent both of the opponents back in pain. Before the spider could recover, Lee ran up and hung onto one of it's eight limbs. By this time, the monster was thrashing around trying to get this werewolf girl off of itself. Lee persisted, hanging on to the skinny legs tightly and climbing all the way onto the back until she felt her right arm stinging. She had completely forgotten that spiders carried venom to attack predators. The wound was deep into her arm and stung as it seemed to spread. |
(oh I expected there to be lol She is in feral after all! lol)
|
"Heh thanks teach!" Legato called out as the advesary he was fighting was busy trying to claw its own skin off, in an attempt to get rid of the crawling menaces that were the spiders. Legato whacked it away far enough to deal it with a severely deeep wound, letting one of the group to finish off and kill it.
There, he placed Chinastu with Caden and Ms. Tensaki. After that Legato let out another excited yell of happiness as he ran off to fight the spider monster with the girl. "Hey girl! Need some help?" Legato interjected as he whacked the back of the arachnid on its side pushing it away from Lee who was currently stung. Caden, whom although was sleepy was still quite aware of what was going on and saw that Chinastu despite being a supernatural creature was still susceptible to sevre injuries by the looks of it. Rummaging through her satchel and getting out her bandages and some of the vials of labelled concotions, antidotes and potions that she nicked of and made in her Alchemy class, she began to pour some of clear liquid onto the bandages and wrap it around Chinastu's wounds albiet very sluggishly and slowly. "Yawn...this is a pain killing dram that some of the alchemic students made. It'll relieve the pain and stop the. Yawn. Bleeding but you'll need to go to the infirmary or a healer after this." Caden said once again in between yawns, wrapping the bandages onto the cuts and gashes. Meanwhile, Ampere whom has seen Legato dealt a wound onto the Ivory Serpent, decided to collect some samples of the creature to examine it's unnatural growth as well as the spider that were on it. Since she always carried some empty jars in her Headmistress' robes, she took two of them out and began collecting. First she collected the blood that was bleeding profusedly out, which only filled about a centimetre which was enough for her and corked it. After that she caught some of the spiders and lidded the container but took her switchblade and made small holes into the lid for the spiders to breathe. Just as she was doing the the Serpent had recovered and was readying itself to punce on the teacher. |
"Thanks" Said Lee, quickly wiping up the excess venom off her arm and trying her best to lick the wound. Hopefully, it would only spread to her arm and the problem could be fixed easy with paramedics at this school. If not...well, Lee could write with both hands, so she didn't exactly need her arm...
...Shunning away the thought of cutting her arm off, Lee turned her attention back to the monster spider. Though someone had gotten it away for a second, it was strange that Lee didn't exactly want to give up on fighting it. She never believed in killing things, so maybe she could just wound it enough for someone else to kill it. That would be good. The beast got back up again, probably looking too see which one of it's attackers to kill first. Lee wasn't going to wait for it to decide. Running after it, she ran directly under, thrusting her pointed tip into the side of a leg and pulling to the side so it came off. Spider limbs were always weak, so cutting off a leg or two was actually and easy task compared to killing the monster directly. THen again, spider limbs were not so weak that they could hurt someone when super-sized. The limb next to the broken one smacked Lee in the face, making her tumble backwards. Her nose and lip bled from that, she could feel it. Her body felt sluggish and her whole body ached, probably due to the venom. Sighing a little, Lee crouched down and shifted into her wolf form. ((I believe that the reason why werewolves are so strong in their wolf form is because they have some sort of adrenaline rush, and during night they're powers are fully reached. but that's just my personal belief)) |
[I guess you're right :) But I set up Dole's powers in a different way, sorta. She does get stronger when she changes to her wolf form but she's already stronger than a normal human in her human-ish form. She's not stronger than any other werewolf in their wolf form when she turns into her wolf form but she does turn big. I guess we could say different werewolf abilities for different packs?]
"Look out!" In a blur of gray and black, Allen quickly grabbed Ms. Dew and moved her out of the way just as the serpent's fangs bit into the empty space where they had been standing a split second ago. The monster would have rounded on them for another bite had it not been for a creature that hit it square in the face. Dole had tossed her opponent at the Ivory Serpent and was now preoccupied with taking care of the wasp-like fiend that the vampire had abandoned in order to save the distracted headmistress. "Are you alright Ms. Dew?" he asked. It was a while before he realized he was still holding her tightly and quickly let go after the startling discovery. "Uhm...You, uh, might want to collect samples after we've taken care of the creatures, ma'am." the vampire suggested as he turned to see if the snake was coming at them again. Meanwhile, Dole was busy dodging the attacks of the humanoid wasp. It was fast and the werewolf was already having a hard time dodging its stinger-ended arms. She wished that it were nighttime right about now so that she could see the moon and change into a more agile form. Fortunately for her, an opening appeared between the insectoid's attacks and with a quick leg sweep, the teen tripped the foe. Without wasting another second, she grabbed the bug by the leg and threw it into another incoming enemy, effectively knocking both out. Her little moment of victory was marred, however, by one of the smaller spiders crawling away from the Ivory Serpent's body and mistakenly hopping onto her leg. Dole screamed as she violently shook her leg in a wild attempt to remove the spider form her being before finally batting it off with her hand. The encounter sent shivers down her spine. |
(( I guess that works out ))
The main reason why Lee hated her wolf form so much is that she didn't have much control over what she did. But at the moment, with the venom spreading in her skin, she didn't have enough choice in the matter. Glaring at the spider monster through new eyes, the white wolf pounced upon another one of it's limbs. Tearing it with her teeth, she managed to cut it off before the spider knocked her clean off of it. Due to this though, the spider was noticeably lopsided, to which the wolf made her next advance. Pouncing upon another leg on the same side, tearing it off as she fled to avoid the spider's comeback. But, unfortunately for the spider, the weight on the now on legged side was too much, causing the last leg to snap and the beast to fall over. To which Lee pounced upon and jabbed into the skull with her claws. Well, one claw, the other arm was getting weaker and weaker, and so was her vision. When the spider was surely dead, and the others were distracted by the attacking kids, wolf Lee retreated, and collapsed by a nearby tree. |
At Lucid Crest Kitchens...
Trill was getting rather sick from all the food he was forced to taste in place of Ampere. He was also getting extremely tired, irritated and angry from all the bumbling fools that won't stop panicking and kept bumbling even more with the decorations and had already calculated that there tens of thousands dollars worth of decorations ot be replaced. Luckily for him, the sorcery teachers had replaced them with temporary replicas with their spells and the alchemists had made draughts and drams of concoctions ot relax as well as speed up the process along since it was now ONE hour til the feast and already some students were lining up behind the Dining Hall doors. Deciding enough was enough, Trill got up, despite Mrs. Trefusis' protests, and exited the room in favour of going outside the school to find the missing Headmistress, who should've been doing her work. When Trill was outside, he closed his eyes and focused his awareness on where Ampere may have been. Managing to locate her, he shifted into his dragonoid form, appendages, limbs and bodys parts gorwing skrinking, disappearing and what til he was in his true form. There Trill stomped as he ran and went airborne as he flew over the Lake Mesa and into High Maze, looking for a tourmaline coloured robes that the Headmistress was wearing. ------------------------------------------------ Ampere was startled a bit suddenly carried until, she found that it one of her students whom had saved her life using his supernatural powers. Hearing the young vampire's concern and advice, she smiled as she gave him a pat on the back. "Ah I'm alright now that you've intervene. Thank you Allen," Ampere replied thanking the young vampire, laughing a bit, "I'll keep that in mind next time. If there is a next time of course." Ampere soon heard a familar roar and looked up to a very familiar sight circling the sky. Smiling widely, Ampere waved, signalling for the royal silver and navy blue dragon to descend. Legato after managing to slicing of a Category 5 creature in half and practically bathing his its blood, looked up to see, with a wicked sharky grin, the familiar dragon. "Yo TriTri! What's up?" |
'Nice move Allen.' Fiona said to herself, throwing several fireballs toward the serpent, careful not to hit her werewolf roommate. 'Snakes, spiders... I'm already not liking this trip.' A circle of flame erected around her feet, singing the bottom of her pants and... well, she'd given up hope for her shoes at this point, but the spiders wouldn't bet getting to nibble on her toes, no they would not.

[Wah~ Look at all I've missed! Sorry for not posting, though it seems I wasn't missed anyway. *Sniffle.* -- Kidding, kidding. xD I've read up and will now post.]
ZZZAP! "Yes! Another ten bites the dust!" Amy said happily as she stood upon her brume. Since they entered the forest clearing she has been helping out by mobbing the lower-level monsters with lightning hit after lightning hit. The fact that they were holding metal weapons helped boost the effectiveness of her electric attacks. If it weren't for that small miracle she would barely have been able to keep them from swarming her friends below her while they were occupied with the bigger, more dangerous-looking ones. 'Friends.' That term made her smile. If her family could see her now... "Whoa! Ouch!" An arrow flew through her brume and gashed her face, bringing her focus back to the battle at hand. She looked around for whatever shot it, spotting the same slug-like thing aiming for a white dog-like body crumpled up against a tree. The witchling's heart nearly jumped out of her mouth. It was the girl who asked her about Kiho! The brown-haired sorceress quickly aimed and shot a bolt of lightning. The metal from the arrow tips attracted her attack, making the creature explode onto its allies. Another arrow was heading right for her but in her haste to dodge she fell off her cloud. "Don't mind me, get to Lee and protect her! Bring her where it's safe! To Ms. Tensaki!" Amy cried, pointing to the fallen werewolf. She knew it was her because she'd seen her transform to attack a spider monster earlier. Amy dreaded the worst. The way she looked now, there was no doubt in her mind that the girl had been bitten. The faithful fog did as it was told, flying straight for Lee even though its partner might die. It opened up to 'eat' the wolf but, because the brume was touching a body other than its Amy, rocketing back to try to catch the rapidly falling witch now would be nearly impossible. Kiho are calibrated so well with their partners that lack of contact will make them somewhat lethargic. In the meantime, Amy kept on with her assault on the swarming lower-levels. Her hair whipped around her as she continued to fall, somewhat obscuring her vision. A loud hiss brought the severity of her situation down on her. She was about to fall right into the open, fanged mouth of the giant snake the others were fighting. [Note: Amy was veeeery high up? xD] |
Hanabi looked up as well and had never seen this dragon before but figured it was Trill by Legatos name calling. She curled up in her tails, blushing in embarressment to be caught in this form around him, though she couldn't understand why. She then adjusted herself to make it seem like she was just resting.
|
By this time the dragon had slipped into a more humanoid form but had still retained his dragon like appearances like his tail, wings, clawed hands and feet and his royal navy blue scales. Trill was at this point in time was tapping his foot impatiently before he swung his strong armoured tail to send the approaching a few distances away. He was glaring at Ampere and his assigned Sentinel Legato.
"Ami may I ask why you are doing here instead of helping us prepare for the Welcome Feast which is one HOUR away? The students are already lining up and waiting to be called in." The dragonoid human Trill inquired calmly as he punched another creeping menace, crushing its snout resulting the blood to gush forth as it fell. Ampere just smiled happily showing the nearly decomposed body of the very large Ivory Serpent for Trill to see. Acknowledging the corpse, Trill raised his eyebrow to see that the normally tall creature was abnormally tall for it's average height of one hundred and sixty five centimetres. Now Trill faced the smiling Legato whom was now carrying the narcoleptic Caden on his back. "And why are you here along with the rest?" Trill asked Legato whom was now giving him his usual sharky grin. "Well TriTri," Legato began as he dodged a swipe of Trill's armoured tail, "We were simply passing the time to train ourselves. We also have teacher supervision, so it was allowed." Legato ended with a jump on one of the over grown creatures making blood to spill out even more. Legato sighed exasperately, holding the brigde of his nose. That stupid eccentric is going to be the death of him someday. Looking for the other teacher in question, Trill saw a gorgeous coated lynx. He petted and scracthed the creature gently behind it's ears, whom he did not know was Ms Tensaki in her true form, with a serene smile. "Yawn. I think we should. Yawn... go back now." Caden slurred out grogily before going back to sleep again. |
Hanabi purrs and nuzzles against Trill purring and licking his claws clean of the blood. He must have not realized who she was so figured it best not to tell him. He may feel embarressed about it.
|
Trill smiled as the creature purred in happiness as he petted the female creature, judging by the sound of the purr. Hearing the familiar giggling from his left side only to see that Ampere was giggling again on such a teasing manner. Trill coughed a bit lightly and straightened up. Ampere winked at the Ms. Tensaki knowingly.
"Of course Cadence eveyone must come back to Lucids immediately. All of you will be going back by flight, in which Legato and I will be providing in our dragon forms. Is that understood?" |
