"So you're technically a second year?" Fee asked. "That's cool. What classes are you taking?" Fiona had, admittedly, gotten her schedule the same day as her acceptance letter, but she had yet to look at it properly. Pulling it out of her pocket, she unfolded the paper and looked it over. "I've got a couple basics... then Advanced Sorcery and Spirit Regulation stuff... music, cool, I love Ms. Tensaki. And... Alchemy." She frowned. 'Never had that before. Wonder who teaches it...' Her eyes trailed over to the instructor's name, and she gasped. "Oh no... you have got to be kidding me!
"Ah, Hanabi!" A voice called down the large corridor. It belonged to a young looking man, with silver hair and eyes. "I hope I'm not too late... how's Ampere's mood? Is it safe for me to go in?" Darrien asked in hushed tones. He knew that Ampere tolerated no slackers- but he wasn't lazy, really, just... his internal clock was always fifteen minutes slow. He seemed to only just notice that they were in Trill Mordent's classroom. "Oh... hey, Trill. How's it going?" |
"Oh! Hello Mr. Blackstone. It is nice to see you again." She curtsies a bit. "The Headmistress is doing well, just seems to be swamped at the moment. I believe it is ok to go in. I just got my student roster from her so that I can prepare my lessons."

"Yeah, I guess so!" Said Lee, she had gone to a year of high school already, hadn't she? Well, nevermind that. "I actually don't remember my classes..." She trailed off, also knowing she left her schedule was still in her bag. "I know I have Herbalism/Herbology....but that's the one I chose so of course I remember it--" She stopped, looking at Fee's expression, "Something wrong?" She asked

"Oh, no, no. Nothing's wrong. I have just apparently angered some vengeful god with a sick, twisted sense of humor." She sighed, throwing herself down on the couch. "Of all of the... why did it have to be Darrien? Though I guess this DOES explain his strangely good mood he's been in for the past few days... and why he's been snickering every time he sees me..." She muttered to herself, glaring down at her time table.
Darrien grinned. "Thanks, Hana. Um, later Trill." He rushed, skipping out of the classroom. He let out a sigh of relief. Trill Mordent scared him, and scared him badly. Besides, Darrien himself had not only helped to coin the dragon's nickname, but encouraged his students to call him that whenever out of earshot. And whether or not Trill knew that was still unknown to him. Going down the hall, he knocked twice on the Headmistress's door. "Ms. Dew?" |
Lee made a pouty face and crossed her arms, "He can't be that bad." She said, cocking her head to the side like she normally did. "Nobody's cruel at heart like that!" She smiled, showing her canine teeth. "Or maybe he just doesn't like you..." She trailed off, almost whispering the comment.

"No, no. He's not cruel, he's just..." Fiona paused, searching for the correct word. "I don't know what Darrien is. He's just annoying. He's older than me, and he's always picked on me because I'm the youngest. I didn't even know he knew Alchemy." She said, looking forlornly down at the paper. Of course she'd pick the class that Darrien taught. It wasn't as though he was a bad person though, Lee was right. Well, maybe this wouldn't end badly after all.

Lee smiled, "Guess not cruel. It's life's nature to pick on others for fun." She stuck her tongue out through her teeth in her smiling, and then changed to a confused look. "Darrien?" She asked, looking over Fiona's shoulder to look at her schedule. "D-a-r-r-i-e-n" she mouthed, looking at the writing on the piece of paper. She was going to take Alchemy as a class, but then thought it would be too unexciting for her, she barley even knew the topic.
Lee changed the subject, "Wanna see something cool?" She asked, pulling out a string of white beads that sat in her pocket. Rushing over to a window, she held the beads out into the light. They started to change out of their whiteness and instead turned into the pigments pink and blue and orange, etc. "They're solar beads, you put them out in the UV light and they make pretty colors like this." |
"Yes, Mrs Trefusis, I'll be right there as soon as I can." Placing the phone down it cradle for what seems to be the tenth time today, Ampere couldn't help but wonder why most people get worried over the most trivial of things.
Mrs Trefusis the school chef, was a wonderful cook and catered to wide range of students and staff alike and has been working at the school for quite a long time and should know that her dishes are quite wonderful as well as downright delicious. Nonetheless, the perfectionist chef always asked her to come down to try to see if the food was perfect. Hearing the knocks, Ampere told the person behind it, "Come in," only to see that it was Mr. Blackstone, the newly appointed Alchemy teacher as well as the hand to hand combat specialist. "Ah hello Mr. Blackstone, I'm sorry for appointing you as Alchemy teacher on such short notice. Our previous one recently and suddenly...'resigned' as one may call it. I hope nothing bad happens to you. I heard you're quite an alchemist." Ampere smiled. The old Alchemy teacher recently went missing during an alchemic transmutation sequence and seemed to never appear, so Ampere assumed the worst and went to hire a new teacher, which Mr. Blackstone came to occupy. When a knock came a rapping against his door, Mr. Trill bellowed with an "Enter!" only to see that it was the stylish music teacher Ms.Tensaki. She had a strangely familiar manila envelope in her hands as well as some of the items like her notebook. Ushering the music teacher to come in whilst placing approving and diapproving of some of the ideas that Ampere suggested. "Ah I was wondering where that went. Thank you Ms. Tensaki, I'll be sure to keep that in mind in the future." Taking the folder from the fashionista's hands he placed down on his desk. Upon hearing another voice of, the very much disliked, Mr Blackstone, Trill only answered curtly with, "Hello, Mr Blackstone." Before resuming with faxing the files and forms and answering the occasional phone call from the affiliates. He knew that he was infamous for his violent nature, due to that being part of a dragon's nature, Trill knew that most of his students call him 'Hell Dragon' and that Mr. Blackstone, being the person he was, added fuel to the fire by encoruaging the students to call him that when he is not around. But he knew, he just stayed quiet about because really they were not that far off from being right. "So, Ms. Tensaki is there anything you need to give me or was that all? Also can you tell Ampere, that Mrs Trefusis is being...unreasonable?" Trill smiled sheepishly as a loud bellow was emitted by the message banking phone. "I AM NOT BEING UNREASONABLE TRILL! I WANT THE MEADMISTRESS TO -" Trill cut the message off halway, and began to massage his forehead to stop and incoming migraine that was created from the chef's bellow. |
"You never seeem to want to be social with me..." Hanabi gave a cute smile to him "And I am not your secretary but yes, I will tell the headmistress what you have said." She curtsied and once again headed to the Headmistress' office.
Hana knocked and entered. "Mr. Trill has decided that the cook is being unreasonable. I also am wondering why I have suddenly become everyones messenger girl?" She pouted. |
"Ah I'm sorry Ms. Tensaki, administration has being rather hectic but I guess that's the last of it." Ampere thought for a moment and had an idea. Mrs. Trefusis is known to make alot of testers before actually making the whole dish. Inviting her fellow teachers to taste test would help speed the process along.
"Mr. Blackstone and Ms. Tensaki, how would both of you like to accomapny me to the kitchen? You can help me taste test the food. I heard that they making some wonderful dishes and the desserts are fantastic." |
"I don't mind....I am pretty much ready for classes to begin." Hanabi sighed. She was kind of hungry but really didn't wajnt to try stuff.

Suki eye's grew wider -if that was possible- in excitement when Lee said 'piano.' Suki had always found piano music the best and hoped to learn it this year. We have so much in common, Suki thought as she became bubbly again, practically bouncing on her heels. "Really, that's so cool! Lee looked over to see Suki running out with her paper that foretold her classes for the year. "What are your classes?" She asked, waving the beads in front of her face, showing off their colors. "Pretty pretty solar beads!" She said, moving her eyes back in forth in wonder as the beads waved back and forth in front of her eyes.

"One. Moment. Must. Catch breath." Suki panted, holding her papers in one hand, rolled up, with her hands once her knees, leaning against them. Suddenly she bolted up right. "OK all better now. So, let's see here..." she said, her voice trailing off as she held the paper so they all could see.

Lee's eyes left the beads and took a look at the paper. "Art always looks like a good class, It's almost like a free period." Her face and human ears seemed to perk up, then she randomly walked around in a couple circles and rushed over to her room. Her red hair flowed behind her. Digging through her bag, she rummaged through her all her clothes till the vibrating was in her fingertips.
"Mum?" she asked, holding her bright orange cell phone up to her ear. She peered out of her dorm, holding her finger up to Suki and pointed at the phone. "Yeah, Mum, I got here alright. Mhm, yes'm, I'm here in my dorm now. No...I haven't unpacked my things yet..." She talked back and forth on the phone. Momma worried about Lee constantly, but that never exactly bothered her. It was funny how she could always sense her phone vibrating, most people thought of that as weird. |
"I just started here this year too," Amy replied. "But my brothers have all come here before me. I bet some of the teachers will be wondering how we're all related. They'd all tell me stories of this place though, so I feel at home."
She was about to recall the many mis-adventures of her dear siblings when a lound "OBJECTION!" made her yelp and somehow jump backwards over the couch. A loud thump accompanied her head hitting the floor. "Ouch ouch ouch! Curse you, Phoenix Wright!" [ Uhh.. brain farts must be contagious. e_e; ] |
"I still can't believe Mom and Dad sent you guys to my school." Allen said as he flopped on the couch in the lounge of his dorm. "Really, what's up with that?!" The silver haired boy stared at his two brothers who were with him in the room.
"I know right?" said a red haired boy as he flipped through the channels on the television. "I mean, what's up with that?" "No matter what the reason, we're stuck together this year." said Noel, as he flipped through a smalll book he was reading. "Anything on the business channel David?" "Nope." David replied flatly. He didn't really check but he didn't want to bother. "Is there a sports channel here?" "Yeah, somewhere..." Allen replied as he looked out the window. He and his brown haired brother couldn't take the sunlight so they had to wear sunglasses, hooded jackets, gloves, a scarf or high collared tutle necked shirts, and long pants during the day. He and Noel wore shades, gloves, and jeans. The only difference was that Allen wore a grey hoodie with black designs and a scarf while Noel wore a blue and black hoodie with a turtle necked shirt to cover his face. But the windows of the school were specially tinted to keep sunlight from harming the various creatures of the night. Only David was unfazed by the sun and he wore a green t-shirt with camo cargo pants. "Welp, nothing's on." exclaimed David as he dropped the remote and headed towards the window. "I'm heading out." He swung open the window and jumped on the sill. "Hey! Watch it!" Allen said as he jumped off of the couch to dodge the sun's unfiltered rays. Noel continued reading his book as if nothing happened. The sunlight didn't reach where he stood and he was used to David pulling that kind of thing. "See ya guys later!" the red head said with a grin as he jumped up to the roof of the castle and headed towards the girls' dormitory towers. Allen pulled up his hoodie and scarf and put on his shades so that he could close the window. He returned to the couch and sighed as he picked up the remote for the tv. "Just be thankful he's not staying in our dorm." said Noel as he closed his book and walked towards his room. The two brothers were the first to arrive at dorm 1. David had been assigned to dorm 2, much to the relief of Noel and Allen. The silver haired brother quickly glanced at the door, wondering when their other roommates would arrive before turning his attention to the tv. |
Darrien grinned. "That sounds like a wonderful idea. I would be thrilled to accompany such lovely ladies as yourselves to the kitchens." He said, very politely holding the door open for the Headmistress and Hanabi. He heard his stomach growling the entire trip over- it wasn't his fault that Fiona was late, or that he was so late that his grandparents had refused to let him get breakfast on grounds that he'd only be later and inconvenience Ampere. Oh no. Totally not his fault. But he WAS starving, and he knew that the cook here was excellent.

Ice finished review of her notes and decided to start drawing what she was starting make before she left the woods. the picture was done in a matter of minutes. then she started to reach in to her hollow and pulled out her project she drew. as fingers flew over the gauntlets she had great satisfaction as she finished the top.
Thorn flew out of the headmistresses office and went to her room to rest. apon arivell at her room she takes of her shoes and starts to unpack. she takes all her stuff and puts it on her bed and says "PUTAWAY." and her stuff is put away and she walks around her room seeing where her spell put everything. |
Sena had been wandering the seemingly never-ending grounds, too stubborn to ask people for directions. They were all women so far, and he really didn't want another catastrophe--in other words, he definitely wanted to avoid the female population right now.
'Maybe I should have waited out the new moon after all,' said the young werewolf as he cursed his luck today. First the loud-mouth headmistress made his ears ring for nearly an hour, he gets scolded by a teacher for offering to work for money, and then singed by something or someone for no reason at all! 'This school isn't as great as the pack made it out to be..' Grumbling on the inside but keeping a suave, composed look on the outside Sena kept looking around. He was getting cranky from being both tired and hungry, but by the look of the sun it was only about noon. The opening feast wasn't for another few hours. After a few more minutes of moving about aimlessly the gears in his head started slowing down and all he could think of was how stupid he was to be so eager to get here. The thought of turning into his wolf form and sitting near an entrance holding a sign that says "Please bring me to Boys' Dorm 2" flashed repeatedly in his mind. He was about to seriously consider it when a noise from above caught his attention. He watched as a green-clad person leapt up on to the rooftops. Sena's golden eyes lit up. Finally, another male besides himself! "Hey! You up there!" the lycanthrope called to the other boy. Strangely enough the juvenile's urge to dominate was suppressed only so by his desire to get to his surely comfortable dorm room. Jumping up a few stories he closed in on his mark. "Got a second?" |
"Hey! You up there! Got a second?"
"Hm?" said David as he looked down from the roof. A small boy with glasses had called up to him. Well, he was only small because David was so high up. He looked at his far off destination, the girls' dorm towers, then at the boy, considering whether he should ignore him or not. He had only traveled a few feet away from the boys' dorm so he decided he'd determine his next course of action depending on the kid's answer. "Whaddya want?" he asked as he squatted on the edge of the roof. |
Ice looked out her window and saw one boy climbing onto the top of the wall. waiting to see what he was going to do she prepared herself. after fifteen minutes of her roommates talking really loud she got impationt and jumped out of her window. jumping between the dorm tower and the walls she climbed to the top of the wall and sat on the parapet and resumed working on her gauntlets.

"Any idea where the boys' dorm is? I'm in room one!" Sena yelled back his reply. "And while we're at it.. where's the bathroom?! I seriously need to take a leak!"
Yet another scenario popped into Sena's head as he stood there, in which he was also considering turning into his wolf form to void himself in the bushes and trees. That would have saved him the embarrassment of shouting his business out so loudly almost the whole school could hear him. Deciding to move closer to the other boy, the juvenile continued to jump up to the top of the roof. "Where are ya headed anyway?" he asked, when the two were finally face-to-face. |
David grinned.
"Eh? So you're looking for room 1? Well..." he said as he looked towards the boys' dorm tower that was at the other corner of the castle away from them. "It's over there." "As for where I'm going? Well that's my business." he continued heading towards the girls' dorm towers. He saw a few other people on the parapets. Some where walking around and some where sitting down. One of them was a blue haired girl who was working on a gauntlet. He jumped over the various people and ran across the roofs. He really loved the sun and jumped even higher to feel its warmth as he reached the spire of the girls' dorm. 'Lucid Crest, huh? Might not be so bad' he thought to himself as he looked out at the lake. |
