[[Sorry for blanking out, there was a heat wave yesterday and turning my computer on added to the heat. Made me dizzy so I had to get off the computer for awhile... @ [email protected]""]]
"Thank you Mr. Blackstone. Well then, we better not keep the cook waiting then. Please follow me." Ampere exited out the door as she lead the two teachers out of her office. When the trio reached a flight of stairs, Ampere made a quick start on descending down the spiral stairway that lead towards the Dining Hall.
It didn't take too long since the Dining Hall was in the middle of the school but it was still a fair way from the office since the stairway was quite long winding and can be quite tiring for some. But after teacher here for five years and making her way up and down the stairs to make it to her office, Ampere was quite used to the journey.
In the Dining Hall, the large room was brightly lit and was practiculary bathing in the soft amber light of the medieval lanterns, the auburn cherry wooden tables and chairs cleverly decorated with porcelain plates, glasses, vases and various others items that the kitchen staff were busy setting up. The Dining Hall as whole created a warm and welcoming ambiance which Ampere knew would make the students feel quite at home, hopefully.
In the distance, Ampere could see the middle-aged chef waving frantically at her, signalling her to come in, before going back inside. Walking towards the kitchen and entering its doors, Ampere was met with a vast array of wonderful scents which Mrs. Trefusis has laid out for the teachers.
"I have made a variety of mushroom dishes that are to be served as a main course. Only two of them has to be chosen, my assistants and I have narrowed it down to three dishes. I want all of you to taste all them and see which of the two is best to be served as the main course. After that it'll be desserts." Taking a deep breath, Mrs. Trefusis pointed to each three dishes on the tables infront of the teachers, each with three different disshes and named them,
"This is the Mushroom and white bean soup with Parmesan crisps. While this is the Beef stroganoff with Thyme wafers. And the final dish is the Braised pork and mushrooms dish. Bon appetit and tell me which two is the best out of the three, okay?"
"Thank you Mrs. Trefusis for the wonderful dishes, I'm sure my associates and I can help you. Well then my friends, let's eat shall we?" Ampere sat down on the chair that the assistants had provided for the trio. Placing a napkin on her lap whilst picking up the spoon, Ampere first tried the soup. As a spoonful of warm soup ran down her throat, Ampere couldn't help but sigh in content at how the soup began to warm her body.
"Mmmm. This is delicious, you've outdone yourself once again Mrs. Trefusis." Ampere commented, taking another spoonful."

"Eh? Phoenix Wright? What in blazes is that?" Caden asked as she lazily looked at Amy. Waiting for the others to finish unpacking so that she could show them a place in the High Maze Forest, Caden began talking just to get the time to pass quicker. Not only that Caden was quite curious about her new roommates considering that the roommates she had in the previous year were older and had graduated this year.
'Hopefully Legato is having more fun than I am.' Caden thought boredly, as she shifted her gaze towards the television where a pink-haired femme fatale was have a mental breakdown.
'Iish...That is one crazy *****. Two faced much?'
------------------------------------------------------
Somewhere outside the castle, hovering just outside the Boy's Dorm was an albino raven which was readying itself to perch onto a random room window. Circling a few more times, the albino raven flew to perch on the window only to sneeze in mid-flight, morphing back into a rather grumpy-looking albino young adult and went flying into the window of Boy's Dormitory.
Landing loudly with a THUMP!, the albino guy slowly stood up and rubbed his injured rump while thinking dryly, 'Someone was thinking about me.'. Looking around, the albino saw that he was in room one of the Boy's Dormitory and smiled, a rather psychotic smile, his pointed canines and pearly whites looking rather shark-like.
"I remember this room! It was my room for when I was a normal student here! Ah~ the memories~ I wonder if they got rid of that burn mark I did on one of the armchairs." Getting out of one of the bedrooms, the albino male sauntered in and out of the hallways and into the lounge room which, unknown for him, was occupied.

Hanabi liked the stairs that decended down. When she was by herself she would slide on a banister all the way down, feeling just like a kid again. She sighed at her own memories.
Her nose picked up the smells before they even reached the kitchen and her stomich grumbled at the thought of getting something to eat. She sat down after the cook had stopped eating, placing a napkin on her lap and trying the soup first. Although it was good, Hana never really cared for a dish that contained only vegetables. She was a meat eater after all. After a few more spoonfuls, just to make sure she ate enough to be polite but not enough to make her too full, and might come back to it, she moved on to the second dish.
When the Beef hit her mouth she swooned and chewed slowly to savior the flavor. "Oh! This is simply delicious!" She stated as she continued to slowly eat the rest of twhat was on her plate of that dish.

Ice wondering if things had calmed down in her room she jumped back into her room. She shut the window right before the bells rang so loud she wondered if she would get more then one hour of sleep a a time. talking out her gauntlet she found the back was dented so she opened the window and jumped to the ground and started to look for some place to put her portable forge to fix the back of her gauntlet. finding a spot near the beach she took out a small square with a button and pushed the button and her forge was there ready to be used. she soon went to work hammering with masterful blows and soon the work was done and she pushed a button on the anvil and the forge folded up in to the little square it came from. Ice turning she stuffs the square in to her cloak and starts to run to the dorm and jumps to her window and climbs in.

"Mm, this is delicious, Ms. Trefusis." Darrien complimented between spoonfuls. It was, possibly, the best dish he'd ever eaten- and he ate a lot. He'd never been that much of a vegetable fan, so only took a few bites of first soup. The Beef stroganoff was, as expected, delicious, but he enjoyed the Pork and mushroom the most- mushrooms were one of his favorite foods; he craved them to the point of actually picking them off the ground and munching on them- not the brightest idea, but still. He figured it was because his body always craved minerals and such, and mushrooms just happened to be a great source.

"What!? You don't know? It's only the greatest show EVER!" Amy said, moving her hands as wildly as she sounded. She started going on and on about the show. She somehow moved on to talking about action-packed video games, finally ending with a "Who the hell do you think I am!?"
A minute of silence went by as she was seemingly ignored by her bored-looking roommate.
"Uh.. I'll just go finish unpacking now. Be right back," said an embarrassed Amy, running to her room to put some actual clothes on.

"Hey Noel, do you want anything to eat? I think I can go down to the school kitchens and ask Mrs. Trefus-" Allen stopped as he turned to see who had actually walked into the lounge area. It wasn't his brother but another boy with white hair. "Oh, sorry. I thought you were my brother. Are you also staying in dorm one?" The albino seemed familiar to him but he couldn't quite remember from where he had seen him.
_________________________________________________-
After David had enjoyed the view of the lake, he turned to look over the whole castle. It was quite the building. Having grown up in the city, he was always surrounded by tall buildings but he barely ever got to see one this huge. It took him a while to get from one tower to the other. He watched as the girl with the gauntlet went inside a window of the tower he was on. A few minutes later she emerged from the window.
'Whew, that's some jump.' he thought to himself after seeing the blue haired girl jump to the ground from the window's height. As she made her way towards the beach, he swung into her open window and looked around her room. There were herbalism notes on her bed and a sword, a bow and a quiver with many arrows by the closet. He started opened the closet to investigate what was inside when he heard someone jump from outside the window. Figuring it was the girl, he quickly closed the closet door and hid under the bed.
_______________________________________________-
Closing her closet after stuffing the last of her clothes inside, Dole turned to see her now messy room. The armor and weapons she had brought lay all over the floor as she had tried to organize them but eventually gave up. 'I'll finish those later.' she thought. She turned her gaze to the walls of her room. She had only managed to put up a few posters since she began to place unnecessary decorations on her study table and bed halfway through. 'Mmmm..I'll finish those later.' she thought once more. She walked out to the lounge and looked at what Caden was watching. "So, wanna do something before the feast starts?" she asked the girl on the couch, sensing that she was bored.

After a few tries of the soup, Ampere went on and tried the other two dishes, giving the two dishes the same treatment she did with the soup. Once again, after a few test nibbles and acutal bites, Ampere found that the two dishes were quite delicious, which showed that Mrs. Trefusis was indeed a excellent cook with talent and skill.
Dabbing and wiping off some of the excess food that made its way outisde her mouth, Ampere turned to her collegues with a satisfied smile on her face.
"Well then, what do you two think should be given to the students and the rest of the staff as the main course?"
------------------------------------------------------
Caden watched in amazement as the witch (from what she had deduced from the flying broom) went on really passionately about the show, practically ranting about this and that and various tidbits that went flying over her head. The passionate ranting reminded her of a certain teacher.
'Boy, she sure reminds me of Mr. Mordent.' Caden thought to herself, as the now bashful witchling excused herself to her room. Just as the withcling went into the hallway towards her room, Dole came out just at that moment.
"Well, I wanted to take you guys out to see the beasts in depths of High Maze Forests as well as give you guys the tour of the school." Caden began as she began to twirl a piece of her hair around her index finger. "As well as introduce you to my Sentinel friend. We need him to get into the High Maze Forests since the Herbology teacher and Beastiary teacher aren't here yet." Ending it there, Caden jumped off the armchair and begin dusting herself of. Hearing the school clock tower ring once, Caden frowned a bit as she only had five hours do what she had planned.

At Trill's office, Trill had finished his work and was actually taking a small power nap to rejuvinate himself but his nap was cut short when he sneezed.
'Someone has been talking about me.' Trill thought dryly, stretching a bit and yawning slightly.
Getting up from his chair, Trill went towards the corner of his office where his cello was located, took the wooden string instrument out and began playing a small sombre melody.
------------------------------------------------------
'Well, look what the cat dragged in. The little gray mouse.' The albino thought to himself as he examined the boy. He remembered seeing the boy in Mr. Trill's literature and arithmetic classes being the good a studious boy he was. When the boy asked him a question, he mocked a posed that made him look like he was thinking about it.
After a few minutes he answer, "Well little mouseling, you could say this used to be my room. But that goes to say that I don't neccessarily stay here." ending with his well-known shark-like smirk, with a slight psychotic glimmer in his eyes. 'There's more of him, eh? This is going to be quite fun.' was his thought as he began formulating a small scheme in his mind.

Hanabi tried a few bites of the other dish aswell, finding it just as lovely. After daintily wiping her mouth of she smiled. "Oh! I definitly thik the Beef Stroganoff and the Braised Pork. They were most definitly to die for!" Her ears twitched a bit as they picked up the sound of a cello.
"If you will excuse me..." She stood up and curtsied before leaving back up the stairs, nimbly reaching the top, her tails gently swishing behind her. She followed the sound of the cello all the way to Mr. Mordent's room. She say that the door was opened and leaned up against its frame, closing her eyes as she listened, not wanting to disturb him and cause him to stop playing.

Ice saw a pink shoe that was not hers laying on the floor 5 feet away from the door. she says some indistinguishable elven words and smiles as she is alerted to a man's presence. whispering a few more she shut the window and sealed the door and window along with preventing any noise she does not want to leave from leaving. then laying on the ground she puts on her gauntlets and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him out from under the bed and holding him a inch of the ground she asks, 'What are you doing in here?'
Thorn took a nap after seeing where all her things are. as she rested she saw things that she thought would be cooked for the feast. smelling good things cooking she gets up and starts to walk to the kitchen. getting to the kitchen she fell to the ground smelling wonderful dishes. as she sits by the door the same teacher that was talking to the boy on the grounds walks out of the kitchen.

"I'm with Hanabi." Darrien agreed, pushing his own chair back. "That was a wonderful mean, Mrs. Trefusis. If you'll excuse me, ladies." He said, giving the two women a slight bow before exiting the cafeteria. He could hear Trill's organ music drifting down the hall, but didn't pay it much mind. He, unlike his cousin, had never been much for music appreciation.
"I think I'm going to go explore a little." Fiona said, opening the door to head out. "I'll be back later." She called, running downstairs and out the front door. She had been in such a rush to see her dorm and get her stuff put down earlier, she hadn't bothered to look around campus. Even if it was her second year, schools like Lucid Crest rarely stayed the same from semester to semester.

"Eh? You're pretty strong." David said with a smile as he dangled off of the floor. He didn't always get attacked on his first day at school, and by an elven female no less. He usually would hang out with human females when he was in New York, since they enjoyed offering him blood. "I was just lost, that's all. I dropped my contacts under the bed and I was looking for it." he half-jokingly lied. "I didn't know this room was yours."
_____________________________________________-
"Hm? Now I remember you. Aren't you that Staccato guy?" Allen remembered hearing and seeing the results of Legato's escapades. He was a legend in Lucid Crest, well known for causing trouble in and out of classes but also for excelling in what he did. He remembered last year when the demon had caused a major food fight in the main dining hall while orchestrating a miniature paintball war in the library an few minutes later. He also remembered the massive amount of homework Mr. Mordent had given his Arithmetic and Literature class due to Legato's arrogance. This was why Allen and most of his other classmates had failed the class even though Legato passed. The vampire had asked the hell dragon to let him retake Literature and Arithmetic this year for a better grade. "So this was your dorm before? What dorm are you in now?" he asked, hoping it wouldn't be anywhere in the same tower as him.
_____________________________________________-
"You have a friend whose a Sentinel?!" Dole asked, excited at the thought of knowing someone who knew a school guardian. She thought Sentinel work was one of the coolest things about Lucid Crest. She hopes to be able to apply for a position as one after her 3rd year in order to improve herself for knighthood.
"So what's his name?"

Noel yawned as he flipped the page of the new book he had begon to read. 'I'm sure there's enough time for me to sleep before the opening ceremony.' he thought after hearing the one o' clock announcement. He slowly turned to the next page of the book that was propped on his chest, but his eyelids were getting heavy. Soon the book covered the lower part of his face as his grip on it slackened. Even in his dreams he thought of what he had been studying.

'How did your contacts fall in my room?' Ice asked impatiently. Lifting him another inch or two off the floor. She decided that if she did not find the answer good enough she would ether throw him back towards the the boys tower or drop him out the window. While she waited she looked over her room out of habit to check her notebook and her weapons. finding every thing in its place she returned her attention to the boy.

"Ahaha..well.." the vampire began as he was raised a little higher. "I thought this was the other boys dorm tower. " He remembered the boy who had asked him directions earlier and chuckled as he envisioned him wandering around the school still looking for the bathroom. "I wanted to see my friend and I thought this was his room window. His room would be on the same floor as this one I think. But when I got in here, I thought something didn't seem right so I took a look around. I realized this stuff wasn't his and I was about to leave when I tripped and my contacts came off." David wondered what the girl would do. He was used to getting into trouble on the first day in his previous schools. He felt the punishments were usually lax and his parents didn't seem to mind what he did as long as he didn't get himself thrown in jail again. But he wasn't sure of how this academy handled problems students caused. He had never been in a school with this many different creatures before.

He carried fake contacts, glasses, and asthma inhalers to help him wiggle his way out of trouble from time to time. "Name's David." he replied as she finally let him stand on his feet. Fiona looked up as she heard a crash from what sounded like the second floor. "You know, I don't think I want to even know." She said after a moment, continuing along the front lawn. 'I guess everyone's in their dorms.' She thought, a little disappointed. Pushing some of her blue-black hair out of her face, she took a long look at the large building. 'I wonder who came back this year...' She mused. 'I know Allen would have... I thought I heard Dole downstairs, too... maybe I should have gone down to say hi.' She shrugged and kept moving toward the lake she had crossed earlier to get to the school. Picking up a flat stone, she hauled her arm back and let it fly across the water's surface.

David decided to look around the other dorm tower after the blue haired first year jumped back into her room. This time he'd be content just spying on the female students from outside the windows, rather than entering the dorms. Who knows what other abilities they might have. As he made his way towards the other tower, he looked around at the different students walking around. Some looked like normal humans, though they might not be. Others had horns, scales, feathers, fur and some were even see through. 'Looks like I might not be able to make many minions.' he thought to himself as he remembered hearing Noel say that changing most other non-human creatures into vampires would be more difficult than turning a human into one, usually even impossible. 'I better ask him which people I can't change'

Fiona stiffened suddenly as she felt something... strange. A solitary patch of... of cold in the heat coming from the girls' dorms. She'd felt it before, last year, whenever Allen was around. But what would he be doing in the girls'...? Turning, Fee saw a boy peering through the windows. He was a vampire, all right, but it certainly wasn't Allen. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?" She demanded.

'Uh oh, caught again.' David thought to himself. He wondered what was up with today. He had been caught twice in less than an hour which wasn't like his usual slick self. He noticed other boys had also been looking through the girls' dorms but at different vantage points. Did they have some sort of ability that kept them hidden? After making a mental note to ask around about abilities later on, he turned to see who had caught him this time. "The ladies must love me." he said to himself as he jumped down from the ledge that jutted out from under the window he had been looking through. "Sorry, I was just trying to see if that was my friend's room. I wasn't sure which dorm she was in but I think it was around that floor." he pointed up at the window with his thumb.

"Well Mrs. Trefusis, I think by unanimous decison that the Beef Stragonoff and the Braised Pork will be the main courses for tonight's Welcome feast." Ampere said as she got up. As Headmistress of Lucid Crest, Ampere had to consider the special diets that some of the students and staff had to eat as to good nutrition and nourishment for learning minds and teaching alike.
"Also Mrs. Trefusis, please remember to cater to all races. We don't encourage favouritism here." A serious tone could be detected as Ampere slipped into 'Strict Teacher' mode as her frown became evident.
"Yes, of course Headmistress." Was Mrs. Trefusis' compliant reply as she and her assistants began cleaning up and set off to clean the dishes as well as produce more of the mushroom dishes.
Exiting from the kitchen, Ampere decided to take a walk around the school, passing and greeting students new and old as went, slipping back to her normal seldomly cheerful self.
------------------------------------------------------
For the musically inclined passerbys whom went pass Trill's office, one could tel straight away that he was playing Bach's Cello Suite No.1 in D Major. Trill particularly liked this piece because the piece had a flexibility that allowed him to accentuate certain bits of the melody here and there to create a more sombre and dramatic atmosphere.
Unknowning to the fact that he had an audience, Trill continued to play as the hobby allowed him to escape reality when times were either too slow or too hectic for him. It also served as a stress reliever for him, as Trill was known to be a violently tempermental character, whom needed a productive outlet of his emotions.
------------------------------------------------------
"His name is Legato Staccato. You should have heard of him. He's rather famous around here." Caden replied as if it were common knowledge. Which...kinda was considering the reckless and extreme nature of her childhood friend, his wild escapades and frivolous schemes that Legato was well-known to come up with.
"You should have seen him in Literature and Arithmetic class. Ms. Dew assigned him permanently with Mr. Mordent after his little 'textbook' accident." Caden stated knowingly, since as bodyguard to the Staccato demon heir, she kept a wary eye on her friend and ward to keep him out of trouble and often there to clean up his messes.
Most of the teachers, especially Mr. 'Hell Dragon' Mordent couldn't control the arrogant young adult and often relied on her to keep him in line. But often, she was, reluctantly, dragged into one of his schemes and wild escapades which resulted her getting reprimanded sometime.
------------------------------------------------------
Smiling wildly, eyes closed with mirth, Legato shrugged off the first question. "I might be him and I might not be. What do you think?" Legato Staccato replied nonchalantly. He was known for confusing the hell out of most people and/or just toying with them til they exploded.
Getting up close and personal, practically invading the personal space of the boy.
"Well little mouseling, if you must know. I live in the Sentinel Dorm, located at the next pillar near the Boy's Dorm. First room you meet on your left." Winking flirtatiously, Legato was not much of a serious flirt but when he did see something cute, handsome, pretty or beautiful he would often toy with them first and see their reaction. It was fun, in a sadistic way, to watch some squirm or just explode as their self-control was obliterated.

Hanabi sighed as she listened. She always loved wonderful musicians. She wondered if this would cause her to develop a crush. She knew his reputation from years past but he was usually very nice to her. She kept her eyes closed as she listened, her imagination making a story to go with the piece.

Fiona looked the boy up and down. "Nice try, but I've got four male cousins." She replied to his lame 'I'm looking for my friend' excuse. She used to bust boys all the time for trying to peep on the girl while they were changing or whatever- the temperature fluctuations were enough to drive her crazy. Maybe she should bring up the idea of charming the windows to the Headmistress again... But now that she looked closer at him, she realized that he did, sorta, look like Allen... didn't he say something about brothers? "You... aren't related to Allen Albright, are you?"
