Summer Changed into the clothes Tsukasa had given her. She had briefly wondered how he knew what size she was. Though she figured it wasn't hard to guess since she was pretty thin. It had taken her all of ten minutes to change and make it out to the fields. Taking a seat on the mostly unkept grass she let her mind wander. Being friends with Tsukasa was going to be like ridding a roller coast backwards. " and he still hasn't told me what that note was about." She growled and looked up at the sky. After this fight she was going to make him tell her even if she had to sit on his back and pull his arms behind his head.

[Sorry for not posting, Moon. Stuff was going on. But I'm back and ready to RP! xD]
Max let out a shaky breath and ran a hand through his now tussled thick hair. "It was..." Insane, scary, freaky were the words he wanted to use. He had never flown like that before in his entire life. It was a thrill like no other, yet still it rattled him.
Trying to get his scrambled brain to function properly again, Max shook his head and rubbed his eyes to straighten out his thoughts. "Amazing." He finally said. "A little scary--" You mean really scary. He thought to himself, "--but it was... definitely something you have to do a lot to get used to..."

Maricor smiled. "When I was little my parents never let my play with any of the village kids. I think my dad felt bad for me... he taught me to use my wind powers to fly. It's been one of my favorite things to do... especially at night." She turned and bowed to Max. "I just wanted to show you a bit of myself." She tiled her head and looked at him, "I hope I wasn't too abrupt...."
OOC: It's ok Seb... I understand :) hope life gets better.

Max shook his head, smiling. "No, no, not at all. I was just... a little startled. I'm sure if I got used to it I'd really enjoy it." After hearing her talk about her family he began to wonder what Maricor's past life had been like. Why would her parents not let her play with other kids? Was it because she had abilities? Or maybe something else had happened.
He decided he might as well try and ask. "You don't have to answer, but... why wouldn't your parents let you play with kids?" He asked timidly.

Maricor sighed. "When you live in an island nation..... a child that can manipulate both water and air is quite dangerous... Whenever I was upset, a storm would come over the village. When I was toddler and I threw tantrums... I could call up typhoons. So they took me away. To protect everyone else." She frowned, "The downside is that now I'm not so good with people..."

Max watched the sorrow that grew on Maricor's face and gently put his hand on her shoulder in a comforting gesture. "That's not completely true. I mean, we became friends pretty easy, dontcha think?" He smiled warmly, hoping that he could help wash off that sad expression. It bugged him to see her so down.

Maricor smiled, "You'd be the first." She giggled, "I like it up here. The garden is so pretty..."

Max nodded. "Yeah... You know, we used to have one at my old house. My mom liked flowers... not that she was any good at taking care of them." He laughed at the memory of his mother bent over a row of wilted flowers, swearing and cursing at their deaths, wondering where she went wrong with them. Much like the conversation she had with him before he moved to the school.
"My brother usually helped her... I tried to, but..." He looked down at his hands and clenched them. "I guess... I have the same curse as my mother... I just kill any piece of nature I can touch..."
In his mind he saw his mother sitting in her chair, head in her hands as she sobbed openly. She was a strong woman who never cried, yet he had stood there, his brother at his side, and watched her weep. It broke his heart. He remembered how his brother had looked at him. How there were so many different emotions swirling around in those grey eyes. Anger, sadness, hurt, distrust...
Max touched his chest, as if the contact could somehow ease the pain that started up inside him. It's what he got for dwelling too much on the past.

Maricor touched his hand lightly with the tip of her fingers. "Well... humans are part of nature, aren't we? I'm not dead... at least I don't think so..." she looked at him sheepishly through her silvery bangs. "So it can't be that bad... What kind of curse is it?"

Max opened his mouth. For a moment he really wanted to tell Maricor everything that was bothering him. He wanted to spill the secrets and childish pain he felt inside him.
But there was a lot more to think about than just himself. His brother, his mother--they were all a part of what he would say. If he blurted out too much it could affect them.
"Ah, I... I just meant I'm really bad at taking care of plants!" Max forced a grin and laughed quietly. "Sorry if it sounded any different."
He slipped his hand away from Maricor's, more out of nervousness than anything else, and tucked both hands in his jean pockets. "Well, I think we missed enough school, don't you? How about heading back?"

Maricor nodded, "Of course." They took the elevator this time, Maricor didn't want to scare Max too much. She had her language class this hour. She sighed. She always fell asleep during those classes.

Max thought to himself as they rode the elevator down to their classes. What did he have next? Gym he believed. As they reached the first floor where he knew the gym connected to because of the field in the back, he bid Maricor farewell and shuffled off to the gym.
Max poked his head through the door. Everyone was warming up. He had no note, no gym strip--nothing. He was late and tardy. How horrible.
The teacher seemed to be missing at the moment. Not that Max minded. It gave him an excuse to slip into the group easier. Off to the side of the gym he saw a small, pale girl playing a portable game console and he made his way over to her.
"Hi... uh..." His voice cracked and a whining noise escaped from his throat. He cleared it quickly. "Sorry, habit. Can you tell me what we're doing this class?" Depending on the answer will tell me whether to stay or go back to my room and sleep.

Maricor stood outside the door then shook her head. She decided she didn't feel like class today either. She went outside to explore the grounds for awhile. She smiled and called up the winds again. Soon she was flying just inches above of the ground, though much faster than she was when she had max with. She look like a blur of white and blue flashing across the green grass.
