Intro

Hundreds of years ago humans and demons once lived alongside each other. When the demonic population began to grow the humans started to fear their power. Humans wanted the demons to disappear. To vanish due to their different nature.
The demon king, Dylen, hearing the wishes of the mortals, said to them; "Why do you treat us like this? Is the difference between us so great we cannot come to terms? If you wish us to leave then we shall. My people and I will go. But know this, we will be back. We will never hurt you, and we shall always protect you. Over time we will rise again from the shadows and we will reclaim the life you took away from us."
True to his word, the demons did indeed disappear. They seemed to leave the planet completely. No traces of them whatsoever. But in the present day a new school has been built. A school not open to the public unless they have been personally approached by one of the teachers. This is a school for demons. A school for all the young creatures who have been disowned by the humans and who wish to try a normal, educational life.

Schedule

Unlike most school RP's, you do not choose any of your main classes. You can, though, pick either a or b of some classes. The schedules differ between the different ages

Class Schedules (ages 12-15)

Monday: Off
Tuesday: A, B, C (a or b), D
Wednesday: E (a or b), F, G, H (a or b)
Thursday: A, B, C (a or b), D
Friday: E (a or b), F, G, H (a or b)
Saturday - Sunday: Off

Class Schedules (ages 16-17)

Monday: Off
Tuesday: E (a or b), F, G, H (a or b)
Wednesday: A, B, C (a or b), D
Thursday: E (a or b), F, G, H (a or b)
Friday:A, B, C (a or b), D
Saturday - Sunday: Off

Class Schedules (ages 18+)

Monday: B, A
Tuesday: D, C-18
Wednesday: F-18, E-18
Thursday: H, G
Friday: Off
Saturday - Sunday: Off

This way it's easier for everyone of the same age to interact with each other.

I will be in charge of the bell system. I will go on the "announcement" and say when to change to next class, how long breaks are, when lunch starts and ends, the end of the school day, etc. Don't worry, I'll also say what ages go to which class so you don't really need to bother looking at the schedule.

. . . . .

Classes

Classes are (almost) all mandatory. You may choose between a and b of a few. You can only take the 18+ classes if you are eighteen years old or older. Classes like Elementics may only be taken if you control an element(s) (example: fire/heat users, wind/air users...). Techniques may only be taken if you do NOT control an element and instead use tricks with your weapon/body parts/spirit energy.

The letters in front of the class represents what block it is in. The name at the end if the name of the teacher(s) who teaches it.

(A) Survival (Training in the wilderness, maps, compasses, etc) - Ms. Reanna Welch
(B) Medical (Healing, medicine, CPR, etc) - Ms. Kelly Robertson
(C-a) Elementics (Training in specific elements such as heat, ice, liquid, earth, air, shadows, electricity) - Mr. Flare Blazes, Ms. Wave Waters, Ms. Cloud Flyers, Ms. Rose Canyon, Mr. Timothy Matthews, Mr. Hermes
(C-b) Techniques (Learn to use/control your specific abilities, not associated with Elementics) - Ms. Maya Zaquarei
(C-18) Advanced Techniques (Training with specific abilities to hone your skills. Must be 18+) - Mrs. Shaylia Obar (Assistant: Dennis Elenn)
(D) Tactics (Learning battle strategies and placements) - Mrs. Mikayla Elenn
(E-a) Weapon Defences (Learning how to use shields, armour, etc) - Mr. Oliver Sarra
(E-b) Weapon Offences (Learning how to use basic weapons; swords, spears, etc) - Mr. Vincent Robertson
(E-18) Advanced Weapons (Training with specific weapons of your own specialty. Must be 18+) - Mr. Terry Barker
(F) Fitness (Physical training and learning hand-to-hand combat basics) - Mrs. Silvia Obar
(F-18) Advanced Fitness (Harder, much stricter physical training. Must be 18+) - Ms. Charlie Matthews
(G) Competition Fitness (Competing against others in races and other events) - Ms. Charlie Matthews (Assistant: Olivia Sarra)
(H) History (Learn the history of the demons) - King Dylen
(H-b) Half-demon History (Special class for all half-demons (part demon, part human) to learn human history/not mandatory) - Ms. Annabelle Saviya

I will also be in charge of all the teachers/staff.

"We're here."
As Rei climbed out of his aunt's car he took the time to stand and take in the sight of the school. It was the place his parents always talked about. The place he heard so many different things from. The place his mother and father both worked, as teachers. It was--to demons and other creatures without a safe home in the world--a haven.
His aunt popped the trunk and pulled out his suitcase for him. He took it by the handle and lifted. His arm barely used the muscle in it when he did so. He had his mother's physical strength, that was for sure. He was much more her than his father. White hair, golden eyes, pale skin and the strength of a full grown man. Not too strong, but not exactly weak either.
"Remember, you're in dorm four. They're off to the left hand side." His aunt, Kelly Robertson, reminded him. "There will be no classes today. Only an assembly in about ten minutes."
His aunt was a pretty woman with dark hair and red eyes, just like his father. She had no children of her own, and due to his parents always away with work, she was more of the guardian than either of them. Her hands, large yet slender, stroked his hair back from his forehead, a habit she did since he was a child. "Remember to take care of yourself. Be nice to everyone. Don't act too much like your mother... or your father for that matter... On second thought, just be polite and only talk when spoken to." She flashed him a short smile.
"I'll miss you too, Aunty." Rei said, voice low and thick with sarcasm. "The whole ten minutes we'll be separated will undoubtedly be excruciatingly painful."
Kelly landed a smack on the back of his head. "What did I say about sounding like your mother?" She pushed him towards the school with the same hand, her smile returning although it was quite restrained. "Hurry up and go. I'll see you in the gym for the assembly."
"Yeah, yeah..." Rei muttered as he shuffled forwards, his backpack over his one shoulder and his suitcase in his other hand. School was a new experience for him. A whole new look on life. He wasn't good with people, but yet here he was. Ready to meet others. Okay, maybe not really "ready" but close enough.
He wondered about other students and how they were all doing. They didn't have adult figures who were part of the school system. Or at least, he didn't think they did. You never know. He hoped he would make at least one friend. Someone less annoying than his aunt.

A small shadow danced across the ground, then stopped and began to rise up. Luna stretch and picked her way carefully across the school grounds. She hated traveling but her guardians thought it would be best for her to attend this school. Where do I go? she wondered quitely. Her small toy cat answered:Lady Demonia says to place your bags in your dorm room and go to the assembly hall. Do not waste time. Do you know where your dorm is?Dorm 1.... Thank you...Marcus. She checked her school map and moved towards the girls dorm. She was grateful for Marcus, knowing he would be her closest confident as long as she was here. I wonder what other kinds of beings are here?

A plain, white, four door, Hyundai Accord pulled up to the school with an angry looking man and a young girl in the front seats. It was obvious they had been arguing for quite a while and as the car cruised t a stop, the girl climbed out and slammed the door angrily. She then walked to the back of the car and tapped impatiently on the trunk, signalling that she wanted it open. It popped up a few inches and she opened it the rest of the way as the man came out of the car. " Regora, stop this. All I said was that I don't see why you feel you must attend this school. We can find another one for you." He said irritably, the plead for understanding in his voice as he looked around nervously. " I don't care what you say you meant dad, you're scared of demons and you don't trust me to remember the lessons you taught me while growing up." Regora said angrily, pulling out a backpack filled to bursting and a suitcase on wheels. She slung the backpack over one shoulder and placed the suitcase on the ground, lifting up the handle so she could pull it behind her. She slammed the trunk shut and glared at him. " I want to be somewhere I'm not feared or hated or called a freak dad. You need to trust me." She stated. He sighed and nodded, hugging her for a minute before pulling away, walking into the car and driving off. She watched him leave, the anger leaving her eyes and she frowned, She turned to the school and bit her lip nervously as she started forward, trying not to bump into anyone and blushing as those nearby had heard her arguement with her dad. Her luggage got stuck in a small hole in the sidewalk and she turned to tug on it, freeing it. But she had used too much force and lost her footing, barely getting it back before falling on her ass, she still accidentall bumped sidelong into Rei as he was passing. She blushed furiously and looked to him as she back up a few steps. " I am soooo Sorry." She said nervously.

Keera walked towards the main door in what she hoped looked like a confident stride. Stubbornly keeeping her head up, trying to do as her sister Mim had told her. "Keep your head up, don't look down! Don't let anyone think they can take advantage of you! Walk properly and stand up straight! And don't forget me, okay Little Sister?" She'd told Keera before she left on the bus. How she wished Mim, was there beside her reminding her of all this instead of at their old boarding school. Shifting the colourful bag on her shoulder Keera follows behind someone going in the main door, unfortunatly the person in front of her doesn't open the door enough and Keera ends up in a 'door-sandwich'(This has actually happened to me, it was soooo embarrassing). As she's struggling to push the door open other people begin to turn around and stare. Panicked thoughts begin to run through Keera's head as she finally succeeds in opening the door and shuffles quickly towards her dorm.

Rei turned to see who it was that hit him, but to his surprise nobody was there. His eyes flickered all over the place before they shifted downwards at the sound of a small voice apologizing. A girl not much older than him with long dark hair was struggling to get up, her bag somewhat weighing her down.
Grabbing her forearm, Rei helped lift her back onto her feet. She was a little taller than him so he had to look up to meet her eye. "It's alright. Are you hurt at all?"

She looked at Rei and shook her head. " No, just my pride. I should have been more careful but I dunno my own strength I guess. Ya know?" She asked nervously. She hated this, cause she had always, always wanted to be around other Demons instead of hiding among humans. Now that she was, she couldn't help but feel the same anxious feeling her father had. Yet Rei seemed pretty nice, so she took a deep breath and smiled. " Thanks for the help, and again, I am sorry for bumping into you. I should have been more careful." She apologized once again. She looked him up and down with her eyes real quick, to see if there's any threat what so ever that she could sense coming from him. Instead, she found herself surprised by how human Rei looked and began wondering if he was a half demon instead of a full one. She hadn't met any other demons and knew nothing of her mother, so all she knew of were things in human folk lore.

((Just as a note, Nereis isn't going to RP on this thread anymore due to... I'm not sure what... lol))

Rei shrugged. He tucked his free hand into his coat pocket. "Don't worry about it. Hey, we've got an assembly in the gym soon so you should hurry and get your stuff to your dorm. I'll see you around, hopefully." His smile was small, only a soft tug of his lips, but it was large enough to be seen. Taking his free hand out of his pocket, he waved it to the girl as he began walking away.
As he turned left towards the boys dorms, he checked his watch. 8:55 AM. "Great." He mumbled. "Only five minutes..." He quickened his pace, brushing past the different students, trying to squirm his way through the crowd. The dorms were in sight and he wished--hoped--he was fast enough to get to his room, chuck his stuff on his bed and somehow get to the gym at the back of the school within the time limit.
Thankfully the herd of people seemed to disperse a little as he got closer to the stairs. He knew his room was on the top floor. His father had made sure of that. Too much noise and nonsense on the bottom levels. His dad was strict when it came to parties and drinking. Rei's mother, on the other hand, was opposite. She always said it didn't matter if he did drugs or smoked or drank. It wouldn't hurt his body due to his demon blood. But she was the one who pushed him to work harder. To show his potential. And she did it in the most horrifying ways.
Finding his door, Rei pulled out his key and unlocked it. Nobody inside. He was glad for that. He quickly dumped his stuff on his bed, then he turned and glanced at his watch again. 8:58 AM.
"Crap." He muttered. He was going to be late.

-----

Inside the teachers lounge were only a few adults. Everyone else was wandering around, helping lost students or talking to parents. It was a new thing, the school. No teacher was used to their jobs. Hell, none of them even knew how to teach. The King just rounded them all up and said, "I'm short on fighters. You guys go work at this school."
The King, Dylen (prounounced: die-len), rubbed his hands together nervously. He was hiding. Hiding from Reanna, hiding from the herd of students. Why was he there? He had an underground civilization to rule! He shouldn't be at a school, that was what he hired the others for!
Annabelle Saviya, the half-demon history teacher, poked her head around the corner where Dylen sat spinning in his chair like a panicking mad-man. "Um... You're Majesty, sir?" Her voice snapped him out of his trace and he stopped twirling at once, planting his feet on the ground to do so. Annabelle's smile was too large to contain. How frazzled the king looked. It amused her to no end. "Two minutes until nine, sir."
"Thank you..." Dylen murmured. He watched her scamper off again and he turned towards his desk. There sat the intercom. The single thing he would use the whole year to make sure the students were on track. It was his first time. All he had to do was press a button, talk, and it would be over.
God he felt like a fool.
Leaning towards the mouthpiece of the intercom, he pressed the button on the bottom. At once there was a soft double ding that echoed throughout the school, signaling that an announcement was about to come on.
Dylen took a breath. He spoke, and his voice was heard all over the campus.

Luna glanced casually at the intercom system as the announcement rang out. "Time to go," she whispered out loud. She left her dorm and quickly made her way to the gym, all the while examining and taking note of the other students that flowed around her. There was an interesting combination of demons and half-demons. She found a small smile pulling at her lips. This year promised to be quite interesting indeed. I wonder if I'll meet any other reapers.... Stay focused. Marcus' voice cut into her thoughts, Don't let your guard down, not for a moment. We are still not certain what to expect at this school. You never know who might be watching. Luna giggled for the first time in what seemed like forever. "Spoilsport." She whispered into the doll's ear just as she entered the gym and looked for a place to sit down.

As the students filed into the gym one by one, two teachers stood on the rooftop watching. Their eyes were well trained, and they took in the detail of each teenager with ease, soaking it all up like dry sponges.
"Whadda think?" Reanna Welch asked.
Terry Barker shook his head. He placed his hands on his hips and sighed, loudly. "I have no idea. How does Dylen expect us to do this?"
Reanna snorted. Her slanted, unruly hair, fell over her left shoulder as she shifted from her one foot to the other. "Suck it up. It's our job. He wouldn'ta gave it t' us if he didn't think we could do it."
Terry smiled. He looked at her from the corner of his eye. Reanna was tall, much taller than most women, and had arms that were shaped with muscle. She was an intimidating character thanks to her permanent scowl and the burn marks that littered across half of her body. An accident she would never forgot. No. Maybe "accident" was the wrong word. "Incident" would work much better. "Still can't admit that it's not our strengths he looks towards when he needs a favour, can you? When will you realize that he trusts us because we're his best friends?"
Reanna said nothing. Discussing personal matters, personal emotions, was not her forte. It made her uncomfortable. She narrowed her single eye at the group of kids. At once energy levels began to rise. She stared at the highest ones. "Three." She muttered. "I see three who'll work."
Terry stared at her for a moment longer, then he turned towards the group of rushing kids. He focused his senses, and he saw the same thing she did. He took a mental photo of their faces. Two girls. One boy. The boy was familiar, somehow. The face reminded him of someone, yet the hair and eyes were from someone completely different. "I'll go do a search for their names. I'll contact Dylen and the others when I'm finished. Just keep up the whole 'teacher' thing while I'm working." He flashed her a toothy grin.
Reanna glared at the bluenette. As she blinked he was already gone, disappearing down the side of the wall as he ran, oddly enough, like a monkey who could defy gravity.
Three students. Three children they would place so much weight on. So much stress and so many lives. She closed her visible eye. She almost pitied them.
Almost.

-----

Dylen rubbed his face with his hands. His first announcement on the intercom and he made a fool of himself. "Figures." He mumbled.
A knock on the door. Annabelle poked her head inside. "King Dylen, the assembly should start now." She saw the look of distraught on his face and smiled softly. "Why don't you go ahead to the gym while I take care of the announcement?"
If there was a moment in life where Dylen couldn't ever love his subjects more it was then. He let out a huge breath of air and stood up out of his chair. "Thank you." He said, meaning it with everything he was. "Thank you, thank you, thank you..." He continued to murmur it as he glided out of the room.
Annabelle watched the king go and chortled softly to herself. He was a strange man, King Dylen. But who was she to judge? Nobody knew him very well aside from his friends and bodyguard. For all she knew he could be a completely normal person, hiding underneath that shy, clumsy exterior.
She walked over to the intercom and pressed the button. Leaning forwards she spoke, her cheerful voice much more fluent than her lords.

Luna quietly seated herself. All around her, the other students clamored loudly. She scanned the sea of faces wondering if she could spot another reaper, but wasn't really sure what to look for and gave up. She nervously stroked Marcus' plush little head. She was excited. During her training under Lady Demonia, she was not allowed to interact with anyone except her lady's personal staff. But here, there were so many children. She couldn't help the grin of devilish glee that spread over her features.

Amaya ran across the parking lot hoping that she was just really early.“Oh late, late, late!” A thin female chastised herself as she made her way to the front doors. Her first day of a new school and she was already late. Scrunching up her face in annoyance she contemplated why school had to be held at such an early hour in the day. The head phones around her neck were blasting out some new techno song and she wondered not for the first time if she had made the right choice. Up until now she had simply be hiding her nature and going to a school full of humans. It wasn’t even that bad, she had made some really close friends there but well. “Change is always good, and maybe my grades won’t suck so badly here.” She silently prayed. Amaya had never done well in school, not academically at least. Blowing her lavender bangs out of her face she looked down at the wrinkled piece of paper that held her classes and her dorm room. “Assembly, huh. Wonder if I made it in time.” Turning to look at the duffle bag over her shoulder and the two wheeled suit cases she had managed to drag with her from the bus stop she figured that she could just claim she got lost and miss the assembly. It would end up being to inconvenient to drag all of her stuff around anyway. ‘Well off to the dorms.’ She turned and headed in the direction she hopped was right. She could almost hear her father taunting her. Catching sight of some teachers walking around she made a quit dodge to the back of a building and tried to stay as quiet as possible. Though the noise coming from the other side of the wall let her know that she had just so happened to find the assembly before her dorm. ‘ oh well.’ She could use a break, and as long as you heard what was being said you weren’t really skipping.

As Rei stepped into the gym he found himself pulled back by the arm and suddenly his face was pressed hard into something soft. Something warm and plush. At first he had no idea what he had been dragged into, but then it hit him.
With a squeak he pushed away the woman so they were more than an arms length away. His face red, he stared in horror at his aunt. "Aunty!" He hissed. "Why did you do that?!"
Kelly rolled her eyes. "Oh please. Is giving my nephew a hug so bad now?" She batted her eyelashes in a teasing kind of way.
Rei groaned. He glanced around and some kids were watching, grinning and softly talking among themselves. Leave it to Kelly to embarrass me at the first chance she gets... "You can't..." He sighed and shook his head. No matter what he said she wouldn't listen. "How long is the assembly?" He asked instead.
"It depends." Kelly smiled.
"On what?"
"How long it takes for the king to finally get his butt out here. Better yet, he might not even show up."
Rei blinked. The king? King Dylen? "Why would he... take long? Shouldn't he be used to speeches?"
Kelly gave Rei a look. "We've been living underground for a long time, Rei. His Majesty hasn't exactly needed to do a lecture in... well, years probably. Lots of years. Besides he's a little..." She made a face, trying to think of a word that wouldn't be insulting. "Shy. I guess."
The sound of a microphone squealing attracted everyone's attention to the front of the gym where a small platform was. A woman with unbalanced, jagged pink hair stood on the stage, her single eye hard and cold. If her appearance didn't throw people off, the burn marks scattered all over her skin did the trick. When she spoke her accent and harsh voice seemed to match the war-torn look of her body. "Everyone sit yer asses down, now." She glared at a couple of straggling teenagers who laughed and seemed to think it was funny to dilly-dally their way to their chairs. "When I say now, I mean now." She snarled.
The boys, suddenly fearful, quickly took a seat.
Kelly patted Rei on the back, shot him a small smile, and stepped away to wander back over to the other teachers. Rei watched her, almost wishing she would stay with him. He was one of the few students standing. Everyone else had done as they were told. He could feel the woman at the front leering at him.
Lowering his gaze, he began making his way down an aisle of chairs until he came to an empty seat beside a girl with big, Amethyst eyes and long, silverish hair with a black cap. As he plunked his behind on the chair, he noticed the stuffed cat she held in her arms. It's large eyes seemed to follow him and he swallowed hard. Creepy... he thought.
The soft chatter among the students, however little it was, disappeared all of a sudden. Rei lifted his head to see who or what it was that had dispersed the noises. When he saw the figure standing on the stage he could feel his chest tighten. Recognition crossed his face and he stared at the adult, mouth slightly open. It had been months since he last saw her. Far too long.
"Mother..."

-----

Charlie Matthews stood on the stage alone. Reanna, after her little moment with the microphone, had been taken off rather gently by Terry before she seriously blew up. That woman had a temper, one nobody could contain. It was amazing Dylen really allowed her to be a teacher. What a year it would be...
Her eyes were as cold as stone as she scanned the crowd of students. They all looked up at her with big, curious gazes. Wondering just who the strange person standing before them was. She wasn't fazed at all. She got the same reaction from practically everyone.
Uncrossing her toned arms, she reached out and wrapped her fingers around the microphone. Her claws shined under the lights above dangerously. Some of the kids in the front row shivered.
She nearly smiled.
"Welcome to RY Academy," Charlie said into the mic. Her low, baritone-like voice boomed through the speakers like a strong pulse. "Many of you know why this school was created. It is a shelter for demons who have become lost, or abandoned. But it is also an opportunity for you to live a life like most children should."
She paused, taking the moment to weave her stare through the mass of teenagers again. Towards the middle she caught sight of a familiar face. One that watched her with surprise and awe. One that resembled his father far too much. So he did make it. Charlie thought as she connected her eyes with Rei's matching golden ones. Kelly did a good job taking care of him.
She pushed the thoughts aside and continued to speak. She quickly went through the school rules, reminding them that there were only so many adults who would tolerate their misconduct and so forth. Next, she explained the school layout, curfews, how the classes worked and other small things King Dylen was supposed to have said. Why they picked her of all people to replace him after he pulled a Houdini she had absolutely no idea.
To wrap up the speech, she did another short pause, letting her words seep in. Finally she stepped back towards the edge of the stage and said, "Tomorrow morning you will attend your first class of the year. Maybe of your life. For now, you have the rest of the day to relax and get comfortable in your dorms. Enjoy."

The school year had finally begun.

Amaya pushed herself up off the ground she dusted off the neon blue pelted skirt she was wearing, ‘that had to be the shortest assembly ever.’ She thought as she began once again drag her bags behind her now if only she could find the dorms. This was a lot more changes than she had been expecting. Her old high school didn’t have dorms, you woke up in your own bed at your house and then at the end of the day you went back to that same house. Not only that but demons, only demons, went to this school she had never had that much contact with other demons before. She was starting to feel kind of hopeless about the whole thing. “Where the hell are these dorms?” She growled to herself as the doors to the assembly hall opened up. She wondered briefly about grabbing someone and asking them. But one look at the kids leaving the building made her stop. How do you approach a teenage demon and ask directions? Humans she got how they worked, she had lived within their society her whole life. She had the oddest feeling that it wasn’t going to be as easy as her other high school life had been.

Kaida stood at the front doors to the school. Her body was trembling but her mind was calm. She took in a deep breath and sighed. "Ok. It's now or never." She said to herself softly. She took that first shakey step into her new school. Kaida gazed around at her new surroundings. It was big...but she didnt see anyone. It was apparent that she was late to her first day. But she didnt have someone to bring her to school or a car to drive herself. She walked. Sometimes she flew...but she didnt want to make herself visible to the hunters who had killed her family. She heard some comotion coming from the direction of the gymnasiam. She slowly made her way toward the noise when she tripped over a slight step that she didnt notice and fell foward to the hard floor. She tried to catch herself but only managed to hurt her wrist in the process. "AHH!" she screamed out in pain. Spilling her books and papers all over the floor. She was soo embaressed. She began to have an anxiety attack.

Amaya turned to the sound of a scream and saw a silver haired girl who looked to be older than her. Making her way over the other female Amaya bent down and started picking up some of the papers she had dropped. Placing her bags down next to her she noticed that the woman was starting to panic. “Hey hey it’s cool. No one saw a thing.” She gave woman a big but calming smile. It was a joke since it was obvious that she had seen her fall. She stacked the fallen papers into a pile and turned to the other demon next to her. ‘ now or never Amaya, let’s try to make our first demon friend.’ Standing up she held her hand out to help the fallen girl. “ My name’s Amaya, who are you?”

Kaida turned her gaze to the girl in front of her. She extended her hand and grasped it tightly. "Im Kaida. Kaida Reiryuu. I was running a little late and I was trying to find my way around..." Kaida stood up slowly grasping her wrist in her palm.

Amaya stared at her Kaida’s wrist, it was probably sprained. She had spent one year on her old middle school Volley ball team so she had seen her share of sprained body parts. Bending down she gather the books and papers off the ground and awkwardly tried to pull her luggage along with her, “ if you want I have to drop this stuff off at the dorm, then we can go see the nurse or something. It looks like you sprained that.” She nodded her head towards the aforementioned body part. Then she wanted to smack herself. This wasn’t a normal high school this girl was a demon also the wrist would most likely heal before they reached the dorms.

Kaida smiled at the girl as she gathered her books and tried to gather her luggage. "Well, youre right about one thing..." Kaida looked down at her wrist. Her right palm began to glow a light blue color. As she placed her glowing palm on her sore wrist the swelling began to go down. A cool and light frost had encased her wrist. "My wrist will be healed before we get to the dorms." Kaida smiled at the girl. "I cant do much with these powers. I need to learn to control them better." She smiled at Amaya. "I guess you already know Im a demon." she said smiling kindly.

Honey colored eyes widened slightly as she girl seemed to...numb her own wrist. Well that was just cool. She wondered briefly if it would be rude to ask what kind of demon she was. She obviously had control over ice but what other things could this girl do. “ yeah I guess everyone here is a demon huh.” She was still a little transfixed by what Kaida had just done. ‘And all I can do is shape shift in to someone else.’ “so um if you don’t mind me asking…what kind of demon are you?” She felt a little self consciousness asking. Was that something she should have been able to pick up on?

"Im the daughter of two powerful bloodlines. My father was an Dark dragon Demon and my mother was an Ice Dragon Demon. I can't do too much with my powers. My powers dont seem to work as well when Im not battleing." Kaida said gazing down at her wrist. She clenched her fist and placed it down at her side. "My powers are weak but they get the job done. There are times when theyre more powerful than others. My Telekenisis and Telepathy are my most useful abilities" She said with kind laugh and a gentle smile.

Amaya started to head in the direction she say a bunch of other students going. “I’m guessing that the dorms are that way.” Thinking about what Kaida said “so you can read my mind and stuff. That’s so cool. I’m just a doppelganger so I can only take different shapes. It must be great to be able to read minds. And you’re a dragon too.” She was acting a little more like her bouncy hyper self now that she had made a friend, or at least someone to talk to. She wouldn’t puch her friendship on the girl yet.

Kaida giggled walking beside the girl in the hallway. "Well, Im not reading minds ALL the time. Only when I need to. Whatever people think is their business. Being a dragon isnt such a great thing." Kaida said with a sudden sad gleam in her eyes. "But that's not important heheheh..."

Finally reaching the dorm the pigtailed girl let out a sigh. “I don’t know dragons are pretty awesome.” Finding dorm 3 she pointed to the door. “This one’s mine. Where’s yours?” she asked turning the knob so that she could see where she would be spending the rest of her school years. It was small, but roomy she could already see the things she was going to do to this room.
