Arianna stood frozen "Two days? As in two days to live?"

Sophia started to cry "I don't want you to die!"

Kamerine stood there for a second before hearing Levi, He dove back into the pool to help him.

Devon dropped down next to her holding her gently."It's okay...we'll get you out of...this."He told her.He couldn't stand seeing the tears sliding down her cheeks.

Levi swam away quickly but didn't make it to the surface passing out and sinking to the bottom of the deep end of the pool.

Tatiana found the cave and attacked the demon.She flung him into the wall of the cave and wrapped her hands around his neck."What do you want with my son?"She asked the demon her eyes a deep red and her face pale.Her true form...

Kyle knit his eye brows together he didn't know what had just happened but heard Sophia's cries and picked her up gently."It's okay Sachi...we won't let it happen...and sophia she's not going to die..."He told them softly his eyes flashing as a promise.

Sasha followed Levi and then called air giving it to him letting him breath until he got to the surface.She couldn't get him up to the surface because he was weak.She hoped her father would get him in time...

Sky glared at Sachi. "What did you do that for? I could have taken him. I knew who he was and all that. He cant hurt you with me around." she stated. "Will you explain to them who he is befor they get more confused?" she said calming down her eyes turning back to a normal color.

Anistasha stared at sky. "Who was that?" she asked Sachi. "And what did he mean!?" she asked her.

Sachi wiped away her tears and sat in Devon's lap, wrapping his arms around herself and lacing her fingers with his. "He is the strongest of the shadow dancers, Lord Markov. He killed the last Lord and took his place as the strongest and has been in charge of our kind ever since. We have to obey him, it is our law. My father used to serve him directly but somehow managed to convince him to let him do as he pleased. When I turned 15 I was supposed to go and serve him but I fled and kept moving from place to place. The penalty for disobeying our Lord's commands is death, a painful death."

Her eyes teared up and she desperately wiped them away. "The only to escape punishment is to become the new Lord and I know no one stronger then him. You must understand, even if I try to run again he will simply summon me. Before he was just toying with me. We have to obey because shadow dancers aren't humans or demons but shadows that are strong enough to take on this form. Lord Markov is strong enough to control shadow dancers so a simple summons will force me to where ever he wishes." Her brown eyes were cast to the ground, she was filled with shame at her lack of strength.

Arianna looked at her "Anywhere in the rule book say you have to defeat him to become the new lord...and does it say if you can have help?"

Sophia looked up at Sachi "You're not gonna die?" she asked with puppy dog eyes.

Kamerine dove down quickly and scooped Levi and Sasha up in his arms swimming desperately towards the surface.

Devon pulled her face back up so she was looking at him."You have your families strength...with you..."He told her kissing a tear off of her cheek as one had escaped.

Levi gasped for breath as he made it up to the surface.He clung to Kamerine terrified.

"Nothing!I just wanted blood!"The demon lied choking out the words.

Tatiana growled and made it so he couldn't breath."If you don't tell me i'll make your life a living hell!"She told him her eyes flashing and moving her fangs to his neck.

Sasha was tired from using her magic and rested her head onto his chest."Nigh nigh?"She asked quietly not letting go of him.

Kyle sighed and thought."Can you defeat him with our help and become the new lord or lady?"He asked her.

Sky sighed. "I knew that. You do know someone stronger than him. Im just not a shadow. Id like to help. I could be made a shadow but that would well I dont know what that would do." she said sighing again. "Im here to help you. I wouldn't be full shadow would I?" she asked Sachi.

Anistasha frowned. "Im not gonna let my family get hurt." she stated.

Sachi shook her head, "Even if you helped me I would just be ignored and removed from the position by someone else. And shadow creatures are different from shadow dancers. Even if you have powers over the dark element it's not the same and you wouldn't be accepted into our society. You can't become a shadow dancer unless you are born one," A small sad smile formed on her lips, "I'll just have to become stronger over the next couple days and hope it's enough to beat him." Her grip on Devon tightened, she didn't want to lose her family.

Arianna let out a animal like growl "Well we'll make you as strong as we can...unless we find a better way that is..."

Sophia perked up a bit "I'm helping!"

Kamerine smiled down at her "Yeah Sasha Night Night." He looked down at Levi "You alright?"

Devon growled lightly and then softened his angry look kissing her gently."Were going to help you Sachi...no matter what it takes..."He told her softly.

Levi shook his head no and buried his face onto Kamerine's chest silent tears running down his cheeks.

The demon screeched and struggled but couldn't move."I was scent by Xavior..."He told her as she killed him.

Tatiana killed him with her powers instead of her teeth not wanting to put blood in the pool.She let his body disolve and then swam up to the surface.Her eyes still a deep red.

Kyle sighed and went over to Arianna lacing his fingers with hers hoping he could calm her."Were going to help Sachi...we'll do what ever we can for you..."He said looking over at the crying Levi knitting his eyebrows together."What's wrong Levi?"He asked dropping Arianna's hand and walking over to him resting his hand on his back.

Sasha leaned over and kissed Levi's cheek."He gone...no hurt..."She told him quietly as she drifted to sleep.

Sky looked away from Sachi a little embarased that she forgot about that. "I knew that..." she said. "I will help you as much as I can Sachi. I promise." she promised.

"Sky... Your too kind. Thats why I love you. I will also help you Sachi. If I can. Devon? Do you have a training gym? That can withstand our powers? Because if you don't I think I know just the place." Anistasha said with an evil grin almost lighting up her face.

"Woh. Anistasha. That was Creapy." Sky said.

Sachi gave them a small smile, "Thank you. It's getting late though, maybe we should get some sleep and start fresh tomorrow?" She pulled Devon up with her and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder. Whispering into his ear, a small blush colored his cheeks, "I want to sleep in your arms."

Kamerine attempted to calm Levi down "That guy can't hurt you anymore and neither can anyone like him...You've got family no kiddo remember that!"

Arianna followed Kyle letting Sachi and Devon have some privacy, thought the prospect of a training gym excited her. "Levi?"

Sophia ran over to Levi "Levi? You okay?"

Devon smiled at her and kissed each of her cheeks gently."Your wish is my command."He told her quietly picking her up bridal style."And yes I have a training gym...it takes up a whole floor."He told them quietly.

Levi calmed as Sasha kissed his cheek and then even more at Kamerine's words.He let most of the tears dry and rested his head against Kamerine's shoulder.He shook his head no at Sophia and Arianna.He calmed even more at the touch of Kyle's hand on his back.

Tatiana sighed and walked over to Kamerine and Levi."It's okay he's gone now..."She told him and hugged him along with Kamerine.

Kyle sighed and took what was wrong out of Tatiana's mind.He looked at Tatiana wonderingly.

Sasha growled lightly in her sleep and flinched onto Kamerine.

Sky sighed. "Its been a long day love. Lets follow their example and go on to bed. We should rest up." she said looking at Anistasha.

Anistasha nodded her head. "Thats fine by me." she said and began to walk toward the towel rack picking up one that was covered in wolves.

Sky followed Anistasha and grabed a towel that was black.

Sachi sighed and burrowed into Devon's arms.

((..... *stares blankly at the screen* I got nuttin..... sooo tired *head hits desk and falls asleep*))

Arianna sighed "Trouble seems to be our best friend...but it's only saturday (?) Maybe things will look better in the morning?" she said knowing they were all tired.

Sophia yawned "Sleep does sound good..." she said leaning on Kyle.

Kamerine looked down at the children in his arms and at Sachi and Devon "Maybe sleep would make us all feel better..."

Devon smiled tiredly and walked over to the towel rack picking up two.He wrapped one around Sachi so she wouldn't get cold and then rested his on his shoulders as he walked to there room wondering why Tatiana looked so angry.

Levi struggled in his sleep in Kamerine's arms and whimpered.

Tatiana's eyes were flames as she walked over to the towel rack and picked up four of them.She went back over to Kamerine,Sasha,and Levi she wrapped one around Sasha and another around Levi.She tied one around herself like she had just gotten out of the shower and set the other on Kamerine's shoulders."Do you want me to take Levi or Sasha?"She asked her voice dangerous.

Kyle sighed and then looked Arianna."Maybe and sleep sounds good right now."He said quietly lacing his fingers with Arianna's as he grabbed two towels handing one to Arianna.

Sasha whimpered in her sleep as well and clung to Kamerine.

Anistasha looked at Tatiana puzzled. "Tatiana...? Could I talk to you for a min?" she asked her. "I'll catch up with you." She whispered to sky.

"Alright love." Sky said and walked toward he and Anistasha's room, purpousfully leaving Tatiana's feelings alone knowing it would be better if she were calmed by Anistasha or at least by talking about her problem.(?)

Sachi fell asleep, comforted by Devon's warmth surrounding her. Her memories started to surface again, times with her father and Devon surrounded her. The good times passed and Markov invaded. She had only seen the man twice when she was younger. Once when her father had first taken her in and the other when her father had taken her to the gathering of the shadow houses. A small whimper escaped her as she relived her memories.

His face faded and her mind became shrouded in thick darkness, as if to keep all others out. A shimmer caught her eye and she turned to see her father standing before her with a smile. Enveloping her in a big hug, he kissed the top of her head.


"My dear Sachi, it's been a while hasn't it," he pulled her into his lap as he sat on the shadows like a chair, "I don't have much time to explain, I have something important to tell you."



((Sorry it took so long :sweat: I've been a bit busy lately getting ready for the upcoming con, preparation is ready until the actually weekend comes :)))

Arianna sighed and leaned on him after drying off "Let's go..."

Sophia smiled and grabbed a towel, before following Arianna and Kyle.

Kamerine sighed as Sasha gripped him in a death grip "Looks like Levi...you sure your alright?"

Devon held Sachi tighter and then kissed her cheek.He hoped he could help her dreams if they were bad."It's okay love..."He said tapping into her head.

Levi started to cry in his and struggled.The demon in his dreams disturbing and making them nightmares.

Tatiana shook her head no."I'm going to kill him...Xavior..."She said taking Levi and rocking him gently.She used spirit to sooth him.

Kyle nodded and picked her up.He kissed her softly and smiled against her lips."I love you Arianna...."He said to her gently and took them to her room.

Sasha struggled and gripped him tighter.She started to cry softly.

Anistasha sighed. "We are all upset tatiana. Lets just rest okay?" she said and hugged her then walked off after Sky.

Sky walked quietly through the halls and arrived at their room. She shut the door and shed her swim suit getting into the shower.

Sachi listened to what her father had to say and tears fell as he said he had to go. "I'll miss you," she whispered as she kissed the top of her head and faded back into the darkness. Eyes opening, Sachi found herself laying in Devon's arms in their room. Scooting up a bit, she planted a kiss on his lips.

((Yes an anime convention! Anime Detour, it's at the end of next month and I can't wait :squee:))

Kamerine grinned "I don't get to help?"

Arianna pouted slightly "I love you too...but I can walk you know?" she said once they were all in the room.

Sophia sighed and closed the door going into her room and laying on the bed falling asleep immediately.
