Kennedy stood up to refill her punch as she saw Auria. "Long time no see!" she said happily. She sipped her punch and looked up at her brother. "Watcha lookin' at?" she asked.

Auria smiled and nodded as Akira went back to Spica. She jumped lightly when her brother poked her back and she glared at him. "Oh hey Kennedy! You look great!" she said with a smile, sipping her punch as well.

Audric looked at Kennedy and smiled. "Oh nothing, just spacing out." he replied, taking a drink of his punch. He shifted slightly, feeling put out because he was not used to wearing a tux at all. He ruffled his wings and looked around at the decorations.

Kennedy giggled a little bit. "Thanks hun. You look gorgeous!" she said. She looked up at Audric and laughed a bit. "I do that too much." she admitted.

Auria smiled. "Thank you." she said, blushing a bit. Her wings ruffled slightly and she pulled at her curls gently. She was looking around for Daniel but she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to see him that night, without exposing them. "Are you here with anyone?" she asked, looking at her friend.

Audric laughed. "Yea, so does my sister." he said, knowing she wouldn't hear him because she was listening to the thumping music the DJ was playing. "You do look very nice by the way Kennedy." he said absent-mindedly.

Spica only nodded when Akira went off to say hello to Auria. While she was away, he watched all the other students in the ball room. Many were dancing while others were just hanging out with friends at tables and corners. Teachers were enjoying themselves as well. Some were even sneaking off to unoccupied areas just to be alone with their dates. It didn't look like there would be trouble related to the wars although some students still avoided other teens of a certain race. And there were also those who went outside. Either they were going to call it a night or were just getting some fresh air.

The werewolf was so intrigued by the actions of the dance goers that he almost didn't notice when Akira returned. "So what did you two talk about?" he asked, happy she had returned.

Lorrina pulled out a small silver pocket watch from a small pocket in her dress, she looked at the time.
"Wow its late, I should probably leave now Nathan," she told the boy next to her "It was nice meeting you though," she told him with a smile.
Lorrina put her pocket watch away and walked towards the entrance, she exited the building and walked outside, she breathed in the cool night air and then yawned. That was fun she thought as she walked back towards her dorm.

Kennedy laughed a little and shook her head as she said, "No, I'm mainly trying to run away from Mia, she's kind of hyper today." she said. She stopped laughing when she heard Audric. "Thank you Audric, you look quite handsome yourself." she said as she smiled a little bit.

Auria looked at her brother oddly then laughed along with Kennedy about Mia. "Aww, I haven't seen her in a while." she said absent-mindedly. "She's fun." she then stated.

Audric looked at her and laughed. "My sister dressed me." he said, looking at Auria and laughing when she rolled her eyes and said something about him not being able to dress himself anyway. He finished his punch and threw the cup away. "Seems like everyone is trying to get along..." he then said, after looking at a few of the students.

"Despite the hundreds of wars in the world right now," she said nodding. She finished up her punch and got some more. She stood next to Auria and watched everyone else dance.

Auria smiled at her. "We should go dance." she said, getting tired of just standing. "It looks fun, and they are playing decent music..." she added, looking at Kennedy then Audric. "What do yall think?" she asked.

Audric nodded. "Yea, seems harmless." he said with a laugh, putting his arm around his sister's shoulders.

"Mmk, let's go!" she said as she grabbed Auria's hand and running into the crowd of people. She started dancing not too maniac-like, but hyper-ish.

Auria laughed and followed Kennedy, Audric walking behind them towards the dancefloor. Auria smiled and started to dance with Kennedy to the techno-ish song the DJ had put on. "Aw I want glow sticks!" she said over the music, still dancing.

Audric laughed and danced near his sister, trying not to bump into anyone or make Kennedy feel uncomfortable.

"They might be selling some, wanna go see?" Kennedy shouted above the music. She walked around the gym until in the corner she found some. She bought two bracelets and three necklaces.

Auria smiled and nodded, following Kennedy to find the glow sticks. They find the booth and she buys some glow sticks of different colors so they could dance with. "Yay!" she says happily.

Kennedy put them on herself and ran back out on the dance floor.

When the song was over, the lights came back on slightly and she sat down. :They ruined the fun."

Auria laughed and dance with Kennedy, happily twirling the glow sticks about as they danced. When she song ended, she pouted. "Aw man, maybe they will play another one later." she said in a hopeful tone. She sat down with her friend and looked around for her brother. He had dissapeared, probably to get some air.

Kennedy folded her right leg over the left one and sipped more punch. "This dance hasn't exactly been a friggin' Mardi Gras...mainly because nobody's been dancing." she said with a sarcastic finger twirl.

Auria laughed and nodded. "Yea I know what you mean." she said with a laugh. "At least some people are dancing." she said, shrugging.

Kennedy looked down at her feet. "Man, these heels kill." she said as she sighed.

Auria lifted up her dress and showed her bare feet. "I took them off before we even started dancing." she said with a laugh.

"My feet are visible, and besides, they're cute." Kennedy said laughing a little bit. She sat back in her seat and watched the couples dance sighing lightly.

Auria laughed and nodded, still keeping an eye out for Daniel.

Lewis had arrived late at night. The plane ride was simply exhausting and he already felt the jet lag creeping upon him. A staff member led him to his dorm building and instructed him which room he was suppose to go. She was decked out in party wear and informed him that the school dance was currently going on and gave him a stern look that told him not to come.

Lewis shrugged her off and started lugging both of his suitcases up. It took some time and he heavily procrastinated on his way up, complaining about how much his mom packed and the lack of an elevator in the building.

Reaching the second floor, Lewis dragged his junk to his room, unlocked the door and kicked it in. His room wasn’t that bad. The bed looked extremely inviting. Nudging off his shoes, Lewis took a takeoff bounce from the couch and landed onto the bed. “I hope this place doesn’t have bedbugs” he muttered as he dug his face in the pillow. After laying on his stomach for a few minutes, he got up refreshed.” Let’s go see if my fellow student’s,” Lewis went out to the hall. On each door, there was a name of the student. There were eight bedrooms but only three names, including his.

One was labeled Vane, probably a guy. Another was Victoria. Lewis knew that this was the vampire dorm but despite his studies in history class, he couldn’t place which era these guys were most likely born in(well, maybe Victoria era in England for Victoria but it sounds a bit stupid). Taking out his handy pick pocket set, Lewis narrowed his eyes and worked carefully to unlock Victoria’s door. They say you could tell a lot about a person by looking at their room. He entered cautiously and gasped. Why in the name of Dracula was her room classier than his?! While his room would be considered good, for an outdoor hunter, it was still smaller than this room.

Not only did this room have a taller ceiling but it also had more windows and a FIREPLACE! Lewis shut his jaw back to place. He had lived in a more cramped apartment and wasn’t used to the presence of such luxury.

Of course, as stereotypical of a girl’s room, it was neat, organized and didn’t smell of sweat. Lewis entered the bathroom, which had a large walk in closet. He paused. Lewis would never, as a gentleman, invade a lady’s privacy. However, for the sake of knowledge, he decided to take a peek at what a girl’s underwear looked like. To him, they had never been something special, it was like looking at another guy’s boxers; until of course, many of his friend started bragging about their girlfriend’s lingerie.

Lewis’s face fell, when he discovered that this Victoria did not own any lingerie. Persevering, he started to look through her bras. This Victoria did not have an impressive bust but he did stop to admire the design of her bra. Losing interest, Lewis hazardly tried to put everything back where he found it but had a feeling that he did not fold them correctly. After browsing through the rest of the room, he left to check out Vane. After unlocking his doorway, to Lewis's surprise, Vane was not a guy but also a girl. Seeing as he had already looked through a girl’s bedroom (and underwear) Lewis decided to check out Vane's panties at another time. Why not go and check out the dance?

Arriving to the source of music, sweat and laughter, he found that the dance was dim lighted and formal. Some of the students were dancing while most mulled around and watched. Glow sticks lighted some areas and he felt sour that he wasn’t in on the fun. Of course, a t-shirt and jeans were probably not suitable attire, but still. Tapping to the beat of the music, Lewis quietly sang along to the song in the shadows as he watched his future(err, new) classmates enjoy themselves.

Diana stood up, "Ill be right back" she told him smiling. She walked off her black curls bouncing with her steps. She glided past a new vampire and out the doors. Once in the hallways she wandered to the stair case that lead to the dorms for the vampires and sat down on them taking a deep breath. "Man its stuffy in there" she muttered she leaned against the stairs behind her her gray green eyes watching the door. She played with the skirt of her dress lost in thought.

A girl wearing the most revealing outfit Lewis ever saw passed by him. She noticed him but ignored him, which left him feeling ever more sour. The girl sat on the staircase that he had came from and Lewis froze. What if that was Victoria? Wait--even worse, he had forgotten to cover his scent when he handled the bras. Cursing with color in his mind, Lewis decided to stay where he was a wait for the girl to leave and then rush back to Victoria's room to correct his error. Unless, she was going to retire and return to her room. No, there's also a chance that she could be Vane so it's ok. 50/50 were good odds...of course there were first floor inhabitants but he was tactless enough not to count which were female.

He peered from the corners of his vision, the girl was staring at him. Lewis wanted to back away from the doors and flee somewhere. Where? The werewolf dorm? No, he might be killed if found. Demons were unsavory folks to be around too. Angels! No, they might be fallen. Wait, weren't fellen angels demons? Lewis rubbed his temple with a finger. A thought hit him; every school has a janitors closet! And of course, inside them are cleaning materials that smell conveniantly strong enough to cover his scent.

Lewis tried to casually saunter away from the door and appear unsuspicious. He wandered through the halls. After turning several corners, Lewis stopped before he got himself lost. Where were the janitor's closet? Maybe it's not labeled, should he check every doorway? Nah, he might open a room that someone wouldn't want him to look at.

Trudging back to the vampire dorm's stairway, Lewis approached the vampire.
"Hi. I'm the, er, new janitor's assistant. Can you direct me to the janitor's closet?" Lewis kept a faux smile, he wanted to avoid having to talk with the frightening girl.
