"hmn hands and feet fine?" Ridis didnt want to use her gift to get an unfair advantage, besides she really did want to spar "perhaps she may be able to teah me some moves ive yet to see" she thinks to her self while saying "My name is Ridis, and yours is?" holds out her hand to shake.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "hmn so thats that... now what?" Corriaas had finished his class assignments and was unsure of what to do next. there was still time before the end of the class and he was bored... perhaps I should continue to work on that program that father left me. pulling out a flash drive with a program he had been working on for wuite a while he puts it into a usb slot and starts up the proram editor. "hmn... im still having a problem trying to get this program to recognize slang, and speach patterns used in the different languages. maybe if i use an intermediate recording device that slightly slows down the words spoken so that it may recognize the different inflections, and sylabels used in them." speaking to himself he starts to work on the program. Moving quickly his fingers all but fly across the keybourd pausing momentarily to check a few things or when using the mouse to move things. "hmn... that should do it..." runs the program checking for bugs, and glitches. "hmn now to incorporate it into the game world.... i need a script editor for that though.... " as he continued to muse to himself he tunes out the class stopping only when the bell rings signalling the end of the class. |
Lorrina nodded at the girl "Yes that is fine," she agreed with her. Lorrina walked over to Ridis and shook her hand, "My name is Lorrina," she told Ridis with a smile. Lorrina let go of Ridis' hand and walked over to a wide stretch of grass. "Come over here, it should be easier to spar over here without that tree in the way Ridis." Lorrina told her as she waited for the her, "just let me know when you would like to start sparring,"

Lewis got out of his seat to stand in front of the young looking teacher and gave a mock salute. "Yes sir, my name is Lewis and I believe I am a sophmore sir!" Taking the paper, Lewis headed back to his seat to fill the sheet out.
((what does they sheet say?)) |
Furiiki chuckled at his sophmore Lewis. "This is not a militia son. But I do appreciate the 'Sir'." He leaned back again and put his hands behind his head.
Xanthe giggled again at Furiiki's response to Lewis's line. "Heh~ I am almost done." She said turning to Lewis. {"I wish you to answer the questions about yourself, then tell me something you think is unique about you, and then tell me about your top three favorite books or plays." -Furiiki 2nd period- Basically it has favorite: color, food, animal, drink, Biggest dislikes: Color, food, animal, drink. Then something unique about you, and your fav 3 books or plays} |
Emrys walked onto the Academy grounds, transfer papers in one hand and toting a medium sized duffel bag. He hadn't planned on transferring from his last school but his sister felt like a change of scenery would be best for them. Lifting the bag up and over his left shoulder, he heads towards the admissions office. Luckily, there isn't much to fill out and he is directed to his room in the second dorm. The room looks comfortable and with his few belongings, he is finished unpacking in no time. Looking at his schedule, he realizes that his first class starts in thirty minutes. Art, what luck.. his mind thinks. Locking the door behind him, he heads out to look around the Academy.
{Okay so third period is oing to start in about 30 mins?}
(I think you guys are just dragging the days on.)
(I wasn't sure which class was going on or which period we're in. I can change it to reflect a different one if I need to.)
(It really doesn't matter. You can go to whatever class whenever you want to. I'm going to have my character start off in her first period of art. Kind of catch up in my own way if you know what I mean?)
(Alrighty. I just figured art would be a good first class to attend.)
(Yea, i think everyone has art first period)
---------- Lenore stepped out of a black car, her suitcase and bags trailing behind her as they walked up the steps of the school and into the administrative office of the Silver Crest Academy. She had a brief discussion with the secretary, filled out her paper work and was on her way to her dorm. The secretary had informed her that her roommate had checked in only moments before her. "Wonderful, I hope he's nice at least." she muttered to herself as she made her way towards the vampire dorms and to her room. Unlocking the door she let herself in silently and went to her room to put away her things. After carefully placing everything in their rightful place, Lenore sat on her bed and sighed. It was not her first choice to come to this school, her father was the one who wanted her to join in with other races since negotiations were underway for treaties all around. "I wonder where my roommate is..." she thought to herself, peering out of her bedroom door. She was dressed in a rather short and risque' blue dress with white ruffles, black and white striped thigh-high socks, and knee-high black boots to top it off. She decided to wonder around the school and wait to start classes the next day, saving today for exploring and getting to know where everything was. |
Emrys didn't get much further than the cafeteria when he notices a group of students walking out of there and towards oneof the dorms for werewolves. He frowned slightly even though he had nothing against them. Remembering the words his sister told him: You need to go somewhere where you can meet a bunch of people. I can't have my little brother being a recluse. He didn't understand the need to socialize but he didn't want to disappoint his sister. After all, she was the head of the house. What she says is normally the final say. He made his way closer to the cafeteria, wondering what kind of food they served, when he nearly bumped into a girl. Excusing himself, he scanned her appearance. She was a vampire, dressed in what he would consider an extremely short blue dress.
"Oh I'm sorry." she apologized to the young vampire that she had almost ran into. "I wasn't paying attention." she apologized more quietly. She looked down and tugged her dress down slightly when she noticed that he was looking at her dress. She couldn't help but notice that he was fairly attractive. "My name is Lenore." she then told him, holding out her hand. She was now wondering who her roommate was since she knew the school was co-ed, unlike her last school.
He shook her hand. "Lenore, that's a pretty name. I'm Emrys. And I believe I should apologize. I'm new here and thought I would look around before heading off to my first class." His left hand brushed back a strand of his navy blue hair as he smiled at her. She seemed to have noticed that he was looking at her dress as she pulled down on it. "You wouldn't know where the next best place to go around here would be, would you?"
Lorrina grinned at Ridis and took up a defensive stance,
"Okay lets spar now Ridis," she said as she ran forward and in a move too fast to see she flashed through the air and reappeared behind Ridis and slashed her arm through the air aiming at Ridis' shoulder. |
Lenore's cheeks tried to flush at his comment and shook his hand. "Thank you. It's nice to meet you too Emrys." she told him. Her golden eyes glittered nervously as their hands met. "I'm actually new here too. Just got here this morning." she told him with a soft laugh. "Maybe we can walk around and figure this place out together?" she asked, biting on her lower lip slightly with her fang.
"Sure. I'm going to head to the left and visit the gym." Emrys replied. Letting go of her hand, he reached into a pocket on his pants and pulled out a small map. Looking between the map and the small marker that pointed the direction, he scowled. Flipping the paper sideways, he nodded. "Let's go, ok?"
Lenore smiled and nodded. "Yes, let's go." she replied, walking with him. She wondered what her classes were going to be right. "So what dorm are you in?" she asked, trying to start up a conversation. She wanted to get to know him so she could at least make some friends while she was here.
He waited a moment before answering. He debated between telling her or not. Sighing, he went with honesty. "I'm in the second dorm. How about you?"
Lenore looked at him with slightly surprised eyes. "Really?" she asked. "Me too." she then said a little quieter, looking down at her hands. She played with the ribbons on her dress as they walked.
"You sure are the quiet type, Lenore." Emrys remarked as they walked up to the gym doors. He opened the door and held it for her. "I would have figured that a girl would be happy to see that her roommate isn't some crazy idiot."
Lenore smiled softly and walked into the gym. It was empty, everyone was most likely in their class or eating and they were the only ones in the gym. "I'm sorry, I usually don't talk a lot when I first meet people. I'm glad to know that you aren't some psychotic idiot though you are right about that." she told him with another smile.
"Of course, I'm no crazy fool. My sister would have killed me by now if I was." He chuckled, his words echoing quietly in the empty gym. Lenore smiled more. "I guess no one likes gym class."
She couldn't help but laugh. "I guess not.." she replied. "Wow..." she let her voice echo through the gym. "This place is big." Lenore commented, her voice still echoing. She looked around and smiled slightly at him. "You have an older sister?" she asked.
"It depends on how you look at it. Physically, she is two years younger than me. In other ways, she's older than me by..." Emrys mentally counted how many years separated him and his sister. "At least 40 years." He picked up a basketball that was sitting next to the bleachers and tossed it towards the hoop. Missing the shot, he grumbled.
