Ren sucked in a startled breath when Nyirko flashed about behind him, and squirmed a bit when she caught him in a head lock. He shuddered when she whispered into his ear, and then inclined his head when she spun him around. His maroon eyes moved to Nyirko's hand on his wrist, and he chuckled as the frosted mist and lightning combined. A sparking cloud formed just about the woman's hand as they held still for a few moments.
"Alright Sparky," Ren said quietly, flexing his hand. "But you don't want to catch frostbite." The two of them were strange - frost, snow, and mist swirling about Ren, and sparkling energy flitting about Nyirko. It would have made an amazing picture if someone had their camera.
A small slithering of icy mist slowly flowed up the woman's arm, brushing against her cheek and leaving behind a damp spot.

Krista bit her lip watching, as much as she didn't want to get involved, they looked like they might hurt each other. There had to be something she could do to stop them. The rain was pouring down on her as the storm worsened, soon she was drenched and jumping at the lightning striking. She held up a hand making a sort of umbrella out of the rain so that Azure wouldn't get to wet. He had seemed to flinch at the rain earlier.

"We should stop this...But how?" Krista watched barely breathing, the water around them had moved back into the lake and the tide was now pulsating towards the fighting pair. getting closer and closer to them as the battle raged on.

Nyirko released his hand wrist, a small shiver having gone up her spine. She could feel the electricity building within her and she backed away. She no longer had a playful look in her eyes. The storm raged overhead, thunder getting ever louder, lightning more frequent. "I have to go." With that she swiftly grabbed her chain and turned, running away from Ren and away from the couple down the shore. She went towards a place she knew that she could let go without the lightning going towards the school and the potential of hurting someone that way. I shouldn't have started that fight. It was too risky.
She continued, running until she made it to a rock out cropping, climbing over them until she found the circle that almost formed a dome. She stood in the middle, raising her charged arms up high. She roared as she let what little control she had go, letting the lightning take it's course. The air crackled and was heating up, the rain sizzling as it evaporated.

Ren stood still for a moment, watching as Nyirko ran away. He didn't bother chasing after her . . . after all, it wasn't his job to keep an eye on her. His maroon eyes lingered on her form until she was out of sight, and then he sighed loudly. Glancing down at the water along the shoreline, he raised an eyebrow, slowly letting his gaze drift to the couple sitting a ways off.
"No need," he called over the storm, shaking his head. To emphasize his point, he froze the water closest to him, stepping onto it as the bridge of ice automatically formed beneath his feet. He slowly walked to the middle of the pond, pausing before heading back. That was enough for one day. Don't need it caving in beneath me.
The youth shook his head, sighing as he stepped back onto the shore. Flopping down on his back, a powdering of snow sprayed out from underneath him. At least he could watch the storm in peace now.

Krista sat up from leaning on Azure in startled confusion. "what just happened?" She watched the girl of the fighting pair just take off running. Than she heard a tremendous crash of thunder and sat up even straighter, the sky in the direction the girl had run had lit up to almost day with the amount of energy she had just realeased, and had quickly faded to black again except for the lightning bolts from the storm itself.

She bit her lip in worry, if any of the teachers had heard that, and new that it wasn't natural they might come running out here. She looked to the ice powered boy and wondered what was going through his head as his fight partner had just fled. But in reality she was trying to distract herself from the growing feeling of worry that someone would come out of the school and find the four of them out after hours.

Nyirko collapsed, laying on the rock strewn ground, breathing still even. She stared up at the storm, her grey eyes lighter then before, a small smile on her lips. She felt relieved, and she can now watch the storm without interruption. Though strangely, she hadn't minded the fight and the feel of her power wanting to fight with her. She frowned. She didn't like that. She got up and slowly started making her way back towards the school. She stopped abruptly near where Ren was laying, her eyes on one of the buildings. A light was on in an upstairs window. "Oh crap." She rushed over to Ren and yanked him on his feet. All she said was "Teacher," as she pointed at the window. Then she rushed over to the couple, pointing, still holding the hand that she yanked Ren up with, pulling him along. "We're in trouble if they find us. I don't know how long that lights been on. We won't have time to get back to the dorms. I know a place to hide. Follow me." She then took off in a run along the shore away from the buildings.

Ren was enjoying the cold mist that sifted about him, the gentle falling of snowflakes as they landed all around him. A small smile tugged at his lips as he felt a few of them land on his eyelashes and cheeks, and he reached up to wipe them away. Suddenly there was Nyirko, snagging his hand and yanking him to his feet. Immediately he opened his mouth to speak, but his frown faded quickly. Before he had the chance to react, she pointed toward the lit window - and Ren's eyes widened.
He stumbled along after Nyirko as she tugged at his hand, and almost ran into her when she came to an abrupt halt before the other couple. His dark navy hair drifted into his eyes as he looked at Nyirko, curious. Alright, so they'd fought. But that didn't make them enemies, did it? Seeing that she cared about him getting in trouble, he mentally shook his head. No, it doesn't. The globe of snow and ice that flickered around him stayed away from Nyirko, but continued to keep Ren himself from getting wet by the pouring rain.
Ren withdrew any frost and ice away from the hand that Nyirko held, not wanting to give her too bad of an issue with the cold. He was still freezing to the touch, but a bit more . . . human. Like he'd held his hand in the snow for a bit too long.
"Easy, Sparky," Ren muttered as she took of running again, pulling him along. Glancing at the buildings they were leaving behind, the youth smiled a bit. A group of misfits in a misfit school, eh? Figures.

Krista nodded to Azure, the girl had echoed her fears but had noticed the light before she had. She stood up losing her grip on the umbrella she was making. "Sorry Azure, i can't control my powers much at all really. " The water seemed to return to its natural state as she held Azure's hand and ran after the girl. The only thing the water did do though that was out of place was wash up on the shore as they ran, erasing there footprints as it tried to reach Krista who had no idea what she was doing with her powers.

Biography - An ex military man, he was decommissioned and sent to the St. Aethers when they learned of his metal powers. Being part of the government they knew of these kinds of things and were accustomed to it, not being scared or anything. Though they also knew he needed the training there. Matt quickly learned to control his powers and enjoyed being in the school with people that understood him. He decided to stay on as a teacher. Quickly becoming popular because of his enjoyment of creativity, though the people that caught him at night rarely seemed to like him because he was easily angered at night and far more strict. He dresses like a student, down to having piercings and odd metal pieces on him all over.

here's the basic one. XD )

Matthew sat upright in his desk, he had no issues with storms, but he really hated when students were out after they were allowed, and were making the storms louder than they already were. He was working on a very intricate piece of metal work, that he wanted the details to be perfect on. Taking a deep breath at aloud crash of thunder he set down his metal working pen. He turned on his overhead light and stood up throwing a jacket on and scowling about the rain.

He flicked his desk light off to save the energy on it and headed for the door. Attempting not to slam it as he stepped over the threshold and stormed down the hall in dark anger. He was one of the more popular teachers, but he was strict and hated it most of all when his work was interrupted. He had a class to plan tonight to!

Reaching the outdoors he set off at a brisk pace for the beach, scowling as the wind pelted him with rain drops that stung. There was no need to use any of his powers for this. It was just a walk to catch some electrically elemented student and drag them back to the dorms with a warning if it was there first offense.

Thank Thor one of them knows the water, she thought. They ran until she found the grove of trees she was looking for. She ran straight into them, not slowing down. She went deeper and deeper into the woods. She started to slow down until she came to a stop, her breath heavy. She had stopped at the beginnings of a stream, water flowing from a small rock wall towards the larger body of water. The greenery is dense enough that not a whole of the rain had gotten through, making the ground only slightly damp. She walked over to the edge, feet sinking in the moss, and grabbed a handful of water to splash on her face. She turned to face the other three. "We should be fine here. Just keep a listen for noises of other people. There's a small cave that would hide us if we have to go further." She smiled a little, a slight chuckle escaping. "I found this when I first came here, trying to get away."

Krista took the slow down to suddenly get conscious of herself and attempted to straighten herself up. Her hair ribbon had slid slightly as the rain had fallen on her hair, trying to connect with her but succeeding in only sliding off and loosening the knot. She caught this and quickly tightened it. She also had no idea that she had hidden their tracks. She really had no power over her powers she just reveled in the water. She turned to Azure, blushing and her eyes fell on his chin, 'I hope they aren't freaked out by that. he seemed to think that they would be.'

She took his hand, nervous. She really had never broken the rules before.

Matt got to the beach and scowled, there was ice, and some marks where people had been sitting, but no way to tell how long they had been there. He walked to the ice and touched it, it crumbled and fell into the water, nearly instantly melting. His eyes lifted to look across the lake, more than one person most likely. His eyes scanned everywhere and a small smile formed on his mouth as he headed in the general direction the four had run. There was no prints on that side of the beach, and there was plenty on this side.

He entered the forest that surrounded the lake, no further success in catching the rebel students, though he did find a few snapped twigs that clearly said someone had run this way. A metal band formed on his hand and he looked at it, shook his head and let it sink back into his skin. He had to remember not to let his military training get in the way of teaching. It was different here.

Ren glance about him, nodding. "This is nice. You're lucky to have found a place to get away to." His maroon eyes lingered on where Nyirko stood, and then lifted to the few snowflakes that lazily twisted about his head. As though they were suddenly cut off, the only bit of ice around the elementalist was the frost about his hands and cheeks.
"Do you think anyone saw us?" he asked slowly, looking from the couple to Nyirko. "If I get in trouble again, I'm expelled."

Biography – He has been a teacher at the school ever since he improved his own skills there, and honestly loves to teach. He can get a bit carried away . . . but overall he’s a good teacher for smaller groups. All of his classes are small groups of less than a dozen students – and he focuses on each of them equally.
Personality – Seemingly calm and cool, the type you’d think is really strict on his students. But he’s actually a really easy instructor, and likes to take care of his students and their troubles individually.

Nyirko nodded. "I'm not exactly in a clear spot either." She looked at the other two. "I suppose you two have never done anything wrong." She smiles. "Anyway, if somebody does come, I hope you guys don't mind getting wet and can swim...and can hold your breath." Her eyes then darted around, trying to see if she can see anything or hear anything.

Krista shook her head. "No, not hear anyways." Her smile was now that of her politically hidden smile she always had on. She pulling back into her shell being around other people. "And it doesn't really matter if we get wet does it, we're already soaked from the storm." She turned to Azure, hoping that he would also be fine with getting wet.

When she was fifteen, she came to the town with St. Aether and lived there until she was twenty, moving to the school after landing a job. She has been there since.
Personality - Usually quiet but a hellion when she's angry. She's a good teacher and seldom uses her powers to keep control of her class. If she does, that means she's mad and that's no good.

Yay for eitqutte!!! I couldn't resist making a teach for the the normal classes, and making her a girl since we have two male ones now XD

And now a quick post for the teach, just to get her started...:P let me know if the color isn't good for reading.)

Melesha pulled her covers closer over her body as lightning flashed outside her window. She was huddled in a corner beside her wardrobe, hating every minute that she shivered with fear of thunder and lightning. "I feel weak," she growled to herself. She leaned her head against the mahogany panel, dark eyes closed, trying to sleep despite the irrational fear.

((OK guys i know i haven't posted in a while but ummm what day is it currently because i read the stuff and i couldn't figure it out, how ever my dad got married yesterday so if someone could help me catch up please do ill be very grateful))

Azure turned his toward the events that were going on, and looked at Krista. "Mmmm I can see that things have gotten out of hand..." He got up, stretching himself, having gotten all wet, and made liquid metal run down his arm to his palm, which formed a large broadsword. "Now let's get this show on the road." He smiled got up, but then was dragged to a strange place in the forest while his broadsword vanished back into his arm, away from the school, he noticed that he did not have his mash on so he raised his collar to his chin, trying to hide his injury. Mmmm at least they aren't horrible. He heard Ren say how he wasn't really on good terms with the teachers and laughed a little. "M indeed. I haven't been in this much trouble since my teacher found..." He stopped for a second and looked at other two people who were with him. "Thanks by the way." He said smiling, but they couldn't see his smile since half of his face was covered in wet clothing.


(I've been gone too long, I had decided to help my girl friend move and never noticed that I was forgetting this. :P I'll put this up and edit it once I've read all of the story... again. :P)

Krista watched as Azure pulled up his shirt to hide his face and she fidgeted. "We could sneak back into the dorms." She whispered to him. "I'm sure there is a way around the teacher if they're out."

Matt frowned not seeing anyone and being grouchy from the storm and all the other interruptions on his work. His hair was plastered to his face as he looked around the woods and he gave a shake to try to get the excess water off to no avail. Finally glaring into the darkness he turned and headed back to his rooms and office.

The teacher offices were what students came to visit, but the teachers rooms were behind them.

Kaito glanced up from the orb of water he was forming just in time to see another teacher, Matthew Onis, heading out into the outer grounds. I wonder what he's up to? The elementalist teacher let the truck sized globe fall onto the roof he was standing on, watching patiently as the liquid cascaded down off of the building. Slowly stepping off of the roof, Vincent Kaito used the water about him to gently land on the ground far below.
Bursting into a sprint, he swiftly (using the water's help) caught up with Onis. "What did you see?" he asked, his single eye flickering to his fellow instructor's face. The tall male smiled slightly as he realized that the metal elementalist was frustrated by being outside at this time. Personally, Kaito loved it . . . but that was only because of his abilities.

Ren watched Azure for a few moments. "What are we doing?" he asked, shaking his head. The frosted youth glanced to Nyirko, his maroon eyes lingering on her for a few moments before returning to the other boy.

Matt growled in frustration as Kaito one of his fellow teachers caught up to him. "I didn't see anything, but I know that there our students out here. I don't know exactly how many, two or three." He paused in his speech as he glared at the footprintless ground besides his own and Kaito's. "The electrical one has decided to upset my work with a very loud crash of thunder." He turned to point across the lake at where there had been a pile of snow and ice. "There was also a ice or water user out here, possibly both. When they ran they covered their tracks. Though that still made them just as easy to follow."

Matt at this point was scowling, he was a very grouchy person at night, and he was doing the genius thing of not getting sleep when he should have been. He was the teacher that you could get along great with and have an awesome friendship with, but he really needed his sleep, coffee, or caffeine or he was a very grouchy man. Right now was one of those times that he didn't have any of the three, he'd been disturbed and now couldn't even find the students to get them in trouble.

Nyirko looked at Ren. "We're waiting. And we should for a while longer, just to be sure that the teacher goes back." She then sat down on the green moss, relaxing slightly. She looked up at everyone. "The caves access is underwater. Just so you guys know in case we have to use it." She smiled slightly. "I'm Nyirko by the way."
