Diana smiled, "Yes i suppose thats why they built this school" she dug under the bed again and pulled out the suitcase. Opening it she began to put her clothes in the dresser by her bed. She ran a hand over the candles and they went out.
|
"I guess... but sometimes I think it would be better if we were all locked up in padded cells." He sighed, his words echoing throughout the room.
|
Diana stiffened, her eyes widened, "No, those arent fun, not fun at all......." she whispered, she glanced at Rin but then she turn them down to her suitcase.
|
Rin stood up, feeling rather uncomfortable after Diana's comment. "Well. I'm done. Catch you later." Without another word he grabbed his jacket and exited the dorm, walking briskly down the hall.
|
Diana let out a sigh and flopped down on the bed, "Great now im left with zero real friends" she made a small fire bird and watched it fly around the room.
|
Kuro began to unpack her things as she saw nothing else to do. While unpacking she uncovered her carefully brought in friend, her loyal canary. "I know I'm not supposed to bring you, but I just couldn't help it." She smiled at her friend, and hoped that her canary would stay quite. She finished unpacking and decided that it was time to check out the rest of the school. She opened her door and began to walk down the hallway in the direction of the school.
|
Already unpacked, having arrived at the school quite a bit earlier than he'd first imagined when departing from his home, the male had made his way around the grounds of the school, letting his gaze travel over the building. Multi - coloured eyes happily followed the edges of the building, soaking in what they saw. Details of the building burned at his eyes as he refused to blink, as if it would burn the image of the building into his mind. |
It was Miyuku's first day here, she had come a few days late. She walked in shyly, her petite figure shaking with fear and excitement. She walked through lightly humming to herself, singing always helped her with her nerves. "Calm down.." she muttered to herself.
|
Rin made his way through the hallways quickly yet cautiously, not wanting to walk nor run. He settled into an awkward jog towards the cafeteria, his Nikes getnly pit-padding against the multicolored carpet. Upon entering he squeezed the door handle gently, finding it did not take much effort to open it, and closed the door behind him. The cafeteria was empty. He approached the counter where the lunch lady would usually stand, only to find a few plates of cookies and pizza, still warm and fresh. He grabbed a few snacks, tossing them onto a tray and sat alone at a table, eating silently.
The beagle's ears perked up. It rolled over from where it had been perched lazily in the sun and noticed a boy, and a cute one at that in the distance. It stood, shaking it's coat free of grass, and barked twice before running at him in a full out sprint. Upon arriving at the boy she attempted to climb up his torso and continued to bark. |
Miyuku was lost she didn't know where she was going. She opened a door and lightly stepped inside a room, her eyes widened as she realized it was the cafeteria. Her eyes lightly grazed the place as she searched for someone who she could ask help from. Her brows tensed, as she gripped her things tighter.

Luthien hadn't been expecting any sort of reply at all, but when he'd heard a few barks, the male had instantly turned in the direction of the noise - just in time to throw his hands up as something ' attacked ' him. While his first reaction had been defense, upon noticing that it was -just- a dog, the male relaxed slightly and smirked at the creature, dropping his hands to each side of it's head. Aiming to place his hands on the beagle's head, just below it's ears, the male winked and spoke in a very deep tone, just as one might use to speak with a familiar pet. " Hey there, love. What're you doing, eh? Trying to eat my face off, I bet. " |
Harlo barked playfully. He seems ... nice. The dog panted, it's tongue sticking out, before it twisted it's head under the human's gentle hands. The dog attempted to nod before deciding not to. Harlo didn't want to come off as too human, making it obvious she was a shapeshifter.
Rin jumped as the door closed behind a white-haired girl. he blushed, keeping his head down, his hair falling over his face as she ate his food. |
She looked around and gently patted the boy who looked like he was trying to avoid her. "Umm..excuse me" she asked in a shy voice,"if..if you don't mind..can you please help me find my room?...I..I'm kind of lost." She smiled a small smile.
|
As she barked, the male pulled back just a little, his eyes closing. Dogbreath was not something he'd been looking forward to when he'd rolled out of bed this morning, and it still wasn't on his agenda. The male, in spite of his closed eyes, was still smirking. Animals, a pet or so in this case, were charming creatures. Dogs, while cat lovers could venture that they were idiotic beasts, were quite smart - and very friendly in most cases ( like now, it seemed ). Luthien didn't mind them so much, though in general animals had never seemed to have much interest in him before. Maybe that was changing? |
The dog barked, almost as if in agreement with what the boy had to say. She dropped and did a barrel roll, indicating she wanted to play. She barked again playfully, her rump in the air and her tail wagging furiously. Sometimes Harlo found it was easier to be around people when she wan't herself.
"S-sure," Rin sputtered. "What's your dorm number?" He was blushing furiously, tucking his hair behind his ears. |
"Umm...I don't know..I..I think I lost it" she gave him a nervous little smile. "Or...would you mind showing me to the office instead?" She questioned gently.
|
Rin stood, pushing his tray aside. "Alright." He began to walk in a fast pace towards the direction of the door.
|
Standing again as soon as the dog backed off and started rolling on the ground, the male watched her intently. She'd barked, so, she'd obviously understood him - or at least pretended to, knowing that barking in reply would probably please him. Luthien enjoyed that. While he wouldn't have admitted it, wandering around somewhere new was always a lonely thing. Even if one could argue that it was just a dog, Luthien was happy to have her company, specially if she'd reply to him like that. |
Harlo's eyes widened. Sounds like a plan. With another louder bark, she took off at a full out sprint in the opposite direction, her tail wagging madly, her tongue flapping against her jaw. She felt almost bad that some time in the future she would have to reveal herself to his boy. She put off the thought for now, concentrating on placing one little doggy foot after the other.
|
As she barked and wagged her tail, looking as cute as could be. Luthien knew she understood at that point. The beagle was either an amazingly smart dog, or some sort of gifted pet of sorts. Which made her just a bit more amazing than she'd been a moment ago. |
Harlo ran, full tilt, looking behind her once every few seconds. Slowly the man approached, though harlo doubted he could ctach her. She breathed heavily as she ran just a little but faster than before, trying to see how much she could push herself.
Did she feel guilty for leading this guy on? Absolutely. But maybe, just maybe if she could get away, the boy would be happy and he wouldn't have found out. |
As the dog ran just a little faster, Luthien pouted slightly. He was already breathing somewhat heavily himself. While it wasn't like he wasn't used to exercise, that little dog was very fast, and he didn't quite think he'd be able to manage running after her for too much longer without totally keeling over and needing a tankard of water. He'd never excelled in things like P.E or track, being a studious geek had always been more his thing. |
Harlo skidded to a stop as she heard a loud thud. Dogs did, of course, have very good hearing. She turned to find the boy in the dirt, a distrssed and pained look on his face. Harlo whimpered, trotting back towards him. She pawed at his face gently. A thin layer of dirt covered his face, he hadn't been able to wipe all of it away. Harlo began licking his face rather furiously and relentllessly in an effort to remove the dirt from his handsome face.

Diana caught the firey bird and held it in her hands. She made her way slowly out of her room, she hoped she wouldnt run into rin, he didnt seem to like her much. She made her way outside and sat on the front steps of the school, opening her hands she let the bird fly around. Holding out her hands it turned into a firey rose landing on her open palms. She smiled at the small warmth she felt. Taking a deep breath she blew on the rose sending embers flying into crisp air.

Genie walked through the gates of the massive school, her gray messenger bag banging against her leg and dragging a rather large suitcase behind her. She shielded her eyes from the glare of the sun with her free hand, the other dragging the case, and glanced up at the buildings. She smiled. By the time she reached the doors, the girl wasn't even huffing, in truth, she was so fit she rarely got exhausted anymore. She used the free hand to push open the doors and briskly walked inside, zipping up her coat even more. "God, the damned place ain't much warmer inside!" Genie muttered to no one in particular.
She made her way towards the only desk in the room, found her name on the sign-in sheet, signed it, and grabbed the room keys hanging on the rack. Hmmm, seems I've got.....room one? She sighed and crossed the lobby towards the staircase. She hopped as best she could up the stairs, her suitcase bumping every step and the noise echoing inside the building. She almost laughed from giddiness. Two weeks ago she had been a fresh and new immigrant to America, of all places! Hiding her powers from everyone she loved for fear they might disown her or be frightened of small, petite, innocent Genevieve Hawthorne. And now, she was in a humongous school with a whole bunch of kids with abilities like hers! She grinned, skipping down the hall now, not caring if any other kids saw her and thought her a freak. She nearly passed by her assigned room, too. She paused, walking backwards a few steps. "Huh, this must be it," she laughed a bit, shakily. She'd completely forgotten about the scary prospect of a room mate. Hopefully....they aren't....here yet, Genie thought as she placed a trembling key into the lock. She pushed the door open and gasped. The room was beautiful beyond compare. Genie's pale green eyes landed on a few articles of clothing folded on one of the two beds. Her eyes widened. They were boys clothes. "Oh dear," she noted. Sighing, she walked over to the vacant bed and shrugged off her shoulder bag and it thumped to the floor. Next, she set her suitcase on the mattress, opening it. Can't believe I forgot the rooms were co-ed. Gosh, I'm so dumb, she thought as she removed various clothes from the suitcase. She refolded them, and with a free hand, opened the dresser at the end of her bed. Being the only slightly deranged OCD girl in the family, genie placed t-shirts and tank tops in the top drawer. She closed it, and crouched down to open the bottom drawer, tossing in her underwear and socks. Then, last, she opened the middle drawer and carefully folded her jeans placing them in color order. Satisfied she went to the window and sat on the ledge resting her chin in her palm and her elbow sitting on the knee. [Hope that's not tooooo long for you, I get really into introductions.......^-^;] |
