Shay looked at the girl who came in and wondered what she wanted. She still had no idea if she should trust her and chew on her meat. She continued to look at her and decided to talk back, "hey." she said with a smile and wondered if she would get her name today.

Raven looked through all the food. Eventually pulling out an apple. Raven could feel the girl's stare on her. She turned back around looking at the girl. "I am sorry for yesterday. I was just a bit.... jumpy" Raven said not being able to think of the correct word choice. "My name is Raven Knight... You both must be new students. At least it does not remember you from years ago."

Secari smiled and nodded. "Im secari, pleased to meet you." he said and pulled the honey cakes out of the oven. He smiled setting them on the table, the sweet smell filling the room. "I hope you'll try some Shay." he said pushing her a small cake glazed with honey. He himself grabbed a fork and gently blew on a piece before poping it into his mouth. He smiled and nodded. "Good." he whispered mesmerizing the sweet and savory taste.

Shay smiled, "it is nice to met you Raven and I dont have to introduce myself since it seems that yesturday you figured out my name." she said as she looked at her and finished her meat. it tasted good and she quickly grabed the small cake and nibbled on it. It tasted tood and started to lick the honey away from it. "it is good." she said as she ate it happly.

Raven smiled at them both. She could feel a bit uncomfortable with the two. They seemed to just want to be left alone together. She shrugged in her head, not really caring too much and understood. "It is nice to meet you both. Have a good day now" Raven said leaving the room while taking a bite from her apple. There was still some time to kill, therefore Raven decided to take a small walk outside.

amy paced around not knowing what to do now. she walked around for awile until she saw a girl walk past her, amy focused hard and read her thoughts like the words in a book...her name was raven."uhm raven!?"

Raven turned towards the girl who called her. She was not shocked. Reading minds was a very common gift around this school. Though Raven was a bit surprised, when people usually read her mind, they got very confused by the inner works of her head. "Yes?" Raven said shoving her hands into her pockets.

amy was a bit confused at what she saw when she read ravens mind. "sorry for reading your mind but uhm would you see if the gate remembers where my bags went?" since she read her mind she basically knew all that she knew. meaning she knew she would be able to remember what the gate did."im sorry, my name is amythest, but i prefer people call me amy." amy sure was getting tired of introducing herself.

Raven just shook her head. "Please stay out of my mind. Those are not my memories. If I have no business with them, then neither do you." Raven told the girl a bit harshly. Raven knew she sounded a bit mean, but it was true. The girl was not reading Raven's memories. She was in fact reading other peoples. Her mood lightened, "Bags by the fence.. Most bags are returned to the rooms of the owner. If not, check the lost in found if they did not have a name on them. It is nice to meet you though."

amy was surprised by ravens tone. she never thought about it like that. back home she read peoples minds all the time and didnt think twice about it. amy stood around akwardly feeling bad about reading her mind and said, "oh ok well uhm thank you i guess."she turned around and walked into the doorms still thinking about what to do. what would happen if she showed up in class on the first day with nothing? she walked into the doorm and caught secari and shay still in the kitchen. "hey" she said kind of gloomy.

Secari looked up happy to see Amy and smiled. But hearing her tone he became worried and looked at her. "Hey," he said and with magic he lifted her plate with the small cake and fork. He made it float to her and he smiled. "You might want to eat it while it's hot." he said smiling and tryied to make this situation as light as possible.

Shay continued to eat her cake and smiled happly. Nothing had ever made her happyer in life. She had two awsome friends and they would stay by her side when she needed them too. But what if the men from the labs came for her. What if they tryed to take her away and hurt her friends while doing it. She shook that thought out of her mind. She coudln't think like that now, it would just ruin the moment.

amy watched the cake float to her and smiled slightly. "thanks."she said.she picked it up and took a bit."delicious"she smiled. she looked to shay and said "do you know what time it is? i didnt want to tell anyone but my stuff is missing and if i go to class with nothing im going to look realy stupid." though amy knew she didnt have to be mising anything because everything related to school made her look stupid,she remembered when she was a kid being teased for not remembering the answers to a math problem and swallowed down the urge to cry she was stupid with or without school supplies. instead she smiled at them. "so does anyone know where i can buy some stuff before school?"

Shay smiled at Amy, "you can borrow some of my stuff." she said as she looked at her. Her mother had bought her two sets of everything since she has been known to accidently rip her books in half and other things. It was hard to keep your anger down when you had a hard math problem and also part cat. She had destroyed more books then she could count.

amys eyes light up with joy."realy?you would do that for me?thank you sooo much!" she ran over to shay and gave her a big hug."you know you realy are my best friend shay."she whispered for only her to hear.she reached for her plate and continued to eat the warm delight with her fingers.

Shay smiled, she was glad to have a best friend like Amy. She soon finished her cake and got up, "I will go and get them now." she said and headed to her room to get the books. As she got there she saw a note on the bed and picked it up. Her face went pale when she read what it said and shook vilently. They knew she was here and where going to come and get her.

amy said her thanks and watched as shay left to get the things.amy looked to secari and smirked remembering to ask where he shopped. "so where do you get your clothes? do they have a womens department?" amy laughed aloud and eyed his purple hair and black clothes then she twisted her own purple hair into a loose ponytail and brushed off her black clothes as well.

Secari smiled finishing his cake and chuckled. "Well, actually my clothes are from an woven village... But yes they had women's attire like this... Maybe on a holiday or something I'll take you there." he offered smiling. He stepped closer to her and smiled at her. His eyes mesmerized her beautiful deep purple hair and looked at her. "Are those streaks natural?" he asked softly and gently brushed a purple strand out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. "They look so naturally beautiful." he said softly intranced by her.

amy was delighted by the offer and would have to take him up on it on a holiday break. "my hair has always looked like this.my father says i got it from my mom.shes dead.and i dont remember much about her."she looked up into his eyes slightly blushing,why was she talking about her? and why couldnt she tear from his beautiful gaze? she tried to change the subject off of her and smiled charmingly "and you, secari?is your hair naturaly a royal purple?" she wanted to know.

Secari smiled and nodded. "Yes... My father had the same color of hair..." he said and looked at her. "Well we have something in common... I have no mother either... Or parents for that matter..." he said softly. He was so bound by her glowing beauty. Anything she did or said called to him. And she was making him talk about the things he dreaded to talk about and made it easy. The words had just flowed out of his mouth.

Shay could hardly move from the fear that was inside of her now. She slowly took the extra books out of her bag and stuck them next ot Amys door. She then went into her room and locked the door and then pushed her dresser infront of the door. They where comming to get rid of her. THey where going to kill her like the one man had said. THe one man that had lived to tell the tale about the girl who could be one mean cat. She quickly backed herself into a corner and wrapped her arms around her Legs and let herself shake vilently. She was a dead cat now, someone was finally going to put her down and it scared her.

amy was caught in his glare. she also wanted to talk about personal things she could never say to anyone. "its not fun is it?im glad i have someone to relate to.my father sent me here because he doesnt want me. he said i remind him too much of my mother so he never talked to me or even acknowledeged my existance." she frowned slightly but quickly smiled when she saw he was staring at her like she was to him.

Secari looked at her, his eyes holding care and smiled reasuringly. "Thenhe is missing out on a wonderful girl..." he whispered and then realized Shay should be here by now. He backed away slightly and looked around the kitchen. "Shouldnt Shay be getting back?" he asked and looked back at Amy worriedly.

amy looked down the hall. "your right. lets go to her room and see whats up." she worried.without giving herself a chance to think amy ran down the hallway to shays room.amy ran though the halls and found shays door. amys room was right next to shays, amy looked over to her door and found a pile of neatly stacked books for school. she ran to shays door."shay!shay its amy!open up!"she banged her fist on the door and tried to open it but there was probably something on the other side since she couldnt get through. amy decided the best thing to do was to try to find her. she concentrated on shays presence and focused in on the room. she couldnt feel anybody inside. she closed her eyes and focused harder. finding nothing she banged on the door again and called out,"come on shay!lets go!its just me amy!"

Shay heard Amy but just moved back into her corner even more. She called out softly to her. "just go, I am to dangerous to be around. I will get you killed." she said and stayed in her corner. If Amy stayed closer to her the men would only hurt her too. They would hurt her and might do what they did to her. She couldn't let that happen and stayed in her corner. She was going to die soon anyways. She wished that she could have stayed with her mother. She would have been able to protect her but here she couldn't go anywhere.
