The beach bum listened as she rambled off a story. He chuckled at the end of it and shook his head. "Just chill, ya gotta go with the flow. Sometimes people just make plans ahead of time, ya know? Not like they're running away from you." Shale laughed a little as she introduced herself. "Yeah I think you were at lunch with us... but I'm Shale, nice to meet you." He grinned shaking her hand. He noticed the tattoo and stared at it a bit then looked back up at her face. The blonde smiled softly at her and moved some of his bangs from his face. Well, Liza never texted him back, perhaps Annalise would want to come with him to the beach... He could ask her in a bit. He didn't want to rush anything.

Annalise smiled at Shale, gently biting her lower lip - A nervous tic she'd established a while ago. "So, do you have any plans? I'm bored out of my mind... Thanks for listening to me, by the way." It was probably the most sincere thing she'd said all day. She liked that he'd been so willing to listen to her, when most people didn't seem to be able to take the time out of their busy schedules to talk to her... Not her parents, not her aunt, and certainly not her other classmates. But this guy was different, it seemed... More relaxed. More chill. He seemed to be the same kind of person as her; the type of person who liked to take a step back from busy life and absorb the people around him. Maybe, she thought, she'd like it here after all...

He watched as he bit her lip and grinned when she asked what he was up to. "Well I usually go to the beach now and surf. Would you like to tag along? You can stay in my car with the heat on if it's too cold for you," he teased her softly with a smile. Shale leaned back against the step as he looked at her. She looked like someone his parents would like, a hippie. His type too, nice and relaxed. He still liked Liza, but he wasn't attached or anything. And she hadn't answered him anyway, no big deal.

Annalise was surprised, and a bit taken aback. "You surf?" she asked, overstating the obvious. "I'm not very good, but... I've tried it out before; it's a lot of fun. The only thing is..." she bit her lip again. "Do you have an extra board I could borrow?"

Shale nodded in response and jumped up from the steps. "I have so many in my car. No worries." He grinned at her. His mind drifted to teaching Liza to surf and he couldn't wait to give a lesson. The beach bum held out his hand to help Annalise up. At least he had someone to hang out with today.

Annalise sat in Shale's car. "So, how long have you been surfing?" she asked, not totally sure how to start a conversation with him. It seemed like he would be pretty easy to talk to, though; they were very similar people.

Nate grumbled and parked outside Raevin's house. He knocked on the door and waited for a response from someone. Once he did, he charged up to Rae's room and picked up Liza (who tried to bite and hit him countless times) and got her shoes and backpacks and things on the way out, nodding to Rae's mom. He saw her phone and shook his head at Liza (still asleep) before he texted Shale back.

To: Shale
Hey man. It's Nate. Liza's out cold... Well, she's asleep. Wanna hang out or something?

He let the seat recline and pushed Liza in, now trying to cling to him, and kissed her forehead before putting her clip in her hair. He knew she hated having her hair in her eyes all the time. He sighed and got in the driver's seat, driving slowly (not to wake Liza) to her house.

Liza felt herself moving and then stopped and lifted, and woke, mind still groggy, and giggled when she was put down. "Naaaate!" She heard Nate sigh and knew he was probably rolling his eyes at the moment. The next instant she felt a bed, and pulled Nate so he was sitting next to her. "Hey, thanks." Nate blinked. "No problem.." Liza rolled over and reached for her phone, and he gave it to her. She looked through the messages and groaned. "Shit.. Tell a girl, would you?"

Shale smiled at Annalise after then looked at his phone. Slipping it from his pocket he looked at the text. "Uhm. Since I was around five or six... would you mind if my friend came?" He asked looking over at her.

wow. Drinking much haha. But I was gonna go to the beach with this new girl Annalise... wanna come along?

The Beach Bum chuckled at the thought of Liza passed out drunk. Then he turned again to Annalise. "Sorry, my friend is bored outta his mind and might want to come along." He said coolly, really it was no big deal to him.

((Alright! Shall I assume that Shale drives Annalise to the beach and gives her a surfboard?))

Sky shook her head and pulled out her gym shirt. She did not do anything in gym so it was clean. Softly, she wiped away all the scum around Abel’s face. Looking up at him when he had asked her about her crying, she smiled softly. "I’ll be alright just some family problems and stuff.” Well it was partially true, she did have family problem, well dad problems. However, how could she tell them about what just happened. She could not just say it. it would be weird, awkward and well she was scared too.
Looking over at Seth as he seemed to be thinking about some else, but coming back and forth to reality, she smiled again. “You guys don’t need to worry so much, I’ll be fine.” She didn’t know if they’ll believe it but she had to try.

Laughing he dumped out their garbage and smiled, walking behind Jade, he wrapped his arms around her from behind. Walking with her, he smiled. “Well that was a nice movie, you like it? But now what are we to do?”

Lady Luck followed Jay to his car she was very nervous for this. She had liked him a lot and hoped this would go well. "Sounds like a plan," she answered to just going to the first one they saw. Adel's cheeks turned a light red color when he offered her his hand. Gently she placed her hand in his allowing him to help her into the car. "Thank you," she smiled softly at him.

Jay nodded, and once they were int he car the driver took off. Taking Lady Luck and The Prince to the first movie theater they saw. The car pulled up right in front so they wouldn't have far to walk. "Thanks, see you later." Jay waved the driver off once Adelaide got out of the car. Walking up to the ticket booth Jay asked "Do want to eat anything?" Looking towards the girl behind the glass he said "Two for 'When in Rome' please."

Adelaide watched out the window as they drove to the theater sneaking looks at the Prince. She followed him in the theater and was surprised when he paid for her ticket. "Well since you bought the tickets, why don't I buy us snacks? To make it far," she said softly with a wink. Lady Luck stood beside Jay as he bought the tickets and the lady behind the glass passed the tickets over.

Jade walked out to his motorcycle and slipped the helmet onto her head. "We could go hang out at my house, if you want," she suggested. She snapped the helmet and tapped the spot in front of her.

Annalise shrugged. "Sure, I wouldn't mind if your friends met up with us..." she smiled at the beach bum. "One's company, two's a crowd, and three's a party." She hoped he'd get her Warhol quote. "Shall we?" She nodded to the wheel.

Shale chuckled as he did indeed recognize the quote. Then he folded his arms as she nodded at the wheel. He raised an eyebrow at her and tilted his head. "I don't know. Should I really take you to the beach with me?" He teased her with a laugh. Putting the key in the ignition he started up his car and then started heading for the beach. When they arrived he decided to send a text to Nate.

TO: Nate
Hey bro, meet us at the beach. She's cool with you coming so meet up there for a good time =D

Annalise sat down in the sand, unsure what to do next. Then she had a horrifying realization. "Uh, Shale?" she began. "I just realized... I don't have a bathing suit..." She grimaced.

"Hold on." He answered coolly. Climbing over his seats he dug around in the back of the car. Riffling threw his stuff he pulled out another wet suit. Tossing it over to her is landed next to her on the sand. Shale grinned at her as he pulled out his wet suit. [color="forestgreen"]"Look good?"[/color

"Thanks!" she exclaimed. She noticed a small wooden building a couple yards away. "Can I go change there?" she asked, pointing to it. "If I need to, I can just change in the car," she added. She was really excited to start surfing.
