The Tomboy chewed the inside of her lip absentmindedly as she listened to her Photo teacher talk about the importance of the amount of light in your photo. She felt the cell phone buzz in her lap and she stared down at it. mar really didn't want to tear herself away from Mr. Dahl's lecture, but she also wanted to text. Her teenage instincts won in the end as she flipped the screen open and read the text. She laughed quietly and started to reply.
To: Jenny Ha, really? That sounds like fun. Have you ever taken photo? Mr. Dahl seems really chill! And say hi to Jade for me, too! Mar closed the phone again just as Mr. Dahl started handing out sheets of clear blank paper. She stared nervously at it, wishing she had remembered a bit of what he had said. 'Oh, poo.' She huffed, her red-orange hair falling into her face. |
Jenny continued to text while she waited for something, anything to happen. I have it next period with him, and yeah hes a sweetypie. :) Turning to Jade she smiled. "Mar says hola" |
Jay walked all the way to back to get inside his portfolio and pull out his project that they were suspose to be working on. He sighed, he was very creative and talented but he just didn't like drawing. Not that he was bad at it or anything, it just wasn't his thing. ..one elective for today down he thought as he went to go sit back down. His pocket vibrated suddenly, and he pulled it out not worrying about being caught since class hasn't started yet; it was from Adel.
To: Adelaide From: Jay lol nothing to be sorry for, you don't have to explain yourself to me. It's okay with me... besides its not me you should be apologizing to... if any of the others saw you.. well. Let's just say, I'll be there. =] And yeah we are still on for the movies, why wouldn't we be ? -Jay He placed his phone back in his pocket and place his bag on the floor next to him as he set his area up before starting on his work. |
Liza laughed as he mimicked a horse. She took his ponytail out and got off reluctantly when he crouched down. She was straightening her shirt just as the bell rang. She sighed. "Oh, well." She looked up at Shale and smiled, getting on her tippy-toes to hug him tightly. "See you later. Maybe lunch?" She said, before darting into her classroom. She pulled her phone out.
To: Jenny Maybe I like him a bit too much... Let's call him "Mystery Man" kay? Anyways.. I dunno how I'm going to hang out with him more, unless I spend some more time at the beach. She sent the text, then realizing she'd given the answer away. She banged her head against the window, sighing. "Liza, you okay?" She looked up at Mr. Ligoro, saying a quite yes. Nate looked at her and she knew him well enough to tell if she was okay. She gave him a "kinda" motion with her hand and he nodded, looking away. She knew she would have to tell him later. |
To LIZA: Ahhhh Shale..hmm..why dont you have him teach you surfing?! you'd spend a TON of him together. and youd get to see him in his bathingsuit/wetsuit ;) Its suppoused to be warmer in teh week so it works! |

To: Jenny Yeah.. >_< He's a cutie. ME? SURF!?!? You must be crazy.. Alright, I'll try.. -sigh- She quickly sent a text to Shale. To: Shale Hey, I heard it's supposed to be warmer in the week... You think we could go surfing? Well.. I mean, could you teach me? I've never surfed before. Jenny wants me to try it. She grinned devilishly. "Liza! Tell me. Finish this sentence using the lesson we just did." Liza risked a glance at Nate for help as he mouthed the words. She read them off of him, looking at the teacher. He seemed satisfied, and she smirked. She turned to Nate and blew a kiss, laughing as he caught it on his own lips and sent one back. He was such a dork.. But she loved hanging around him. |

miss mayhem.♥ With the alarm clock blaring Raevins mother stomred into her room. "Rae...Rae!" The girls body fliched as a an empty beer can was thrown at her. "What.." Raevin groaned as she was forced out of her sleep. "Get the fuck out of bed and get to school." Wobbling a bit her mother left the room leaving a hung over rain groggy as she sat up. "Fuck..." Rae moaned to herself as she held her head to stop the room from spinning so she could get out of bed. After puking she took a quick shower and felt alot better and threw on an outfit from her closet. Grabbing her Pink and green zebraprint messenger bag Rae made her way out of the house, grabbing her small bag of weed on the way out and shoving it in her bag. Getting in her car she turned the engine on her music blasting instantly and she lowered it a bit. backing out of the driveway she headed to school, traffic being horrible as always. Once she pulled into her parking lot spot and got out, locking the car. Looking at her bright purple watch she realized it was around 3rd period, almost halfway through. She couldn't even remember what class she was suppoused to go to, oh well. Taking out her sidekick she texted Liza. Hey bitch, you remember what class im suppoused to be it? Vaguely Rae remembered calling Liza last night and mumbling drunk stuff to her but she couldnt recall what. Walking up the stairs and through the main doors she got a few dirty looks from a group of populars hanign around their lockers. "Fuck off.." she mumbled not wanting to deal with their shit today. Once she walked in the door she got a few looks but was too out of it to care. She sat next to a girl with a checkered beanie and plopped her bag on the table. Mr. Dahl was used to her walking in late and didnt even miss a beat as he lectured the class a bit. With a sigh Rae leaned her head back, resting her heavy eyes. |
Mar was still mindlessly glaring the piece of paper down when she felt movement near her. The Tomboy glanced up, surprised. A girl had sat down next to her, obviously scene....but also...obviously hungover. Mar bit her lip, not from uneasiness but from worry. Should she bother the girl? Introduce herself? 'Eep, I have no idea what to do,' Mar thought. She stuck a thumb out and prodded the other girl's shoulder gently. "Uh, hi, you 'kay?" She asked kindly, hoping she hadn't somehow just triggered something.

Rae opened one eye and looked at the girl. "Just friggen peachy.." she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice. Letting out a sigh she leaned up and propped her elbows on the table, leaning on them. Turning to the girl she looked her up and down. "I know i dont come to school as often at most, but ive NEVER seen you." She said her words barely slurring a bit from her tiredness. "Im Rae." Turning her attention back to Mr. Dahl she laid her head on her folded arms. She always took amazing photography and always edited them perfectly, thats why Mr. Dalh never minded her tardiness. |
She shrugged and rested her chin in her palm, "That's 'cause I'm new here." She answered calmly, "My name's Mar." Mar didn't think a handshake would fit well in this introduction, so she left her hand on her lap holding her phone. mar turned back to Mr. Dahl's lecture, but left her mind and ears open in case Rae decided to talk.

A new girl, hmm? Rae smiled and turned to Mar. "Has the asian got to you yet?" She asked, refering to Jenny. That girl flocked to newbies like bees to honey. "Alright, lemme give you the lowdown here. Jenny's pretty nice very friendly and caring, Jade is extremely funny, allways making people laugh." For a moment Rae thought over who else was in the Norms. "Shales the surfer, always hitting the waves.,Nates the sweet weirdo that loves to joke, and Vance is the one the girls trip over their our feet for." She commented rolling her eyes. Sure the boy was cute, but what some girls did for his attention was extreme, and sometimes he still didnt notice. "Then Theres my crew, Liza is one of my best friends really awesome. Sky is nice, yet sometimes a bit closed off. Kai is really cool, great taste in music. Abel is out hacker, he can figure out practically anything. And Delilahs got a bit of a temper if she gets a bad vibe." Finally she came to the groupp she despised. "There are also a group here we like to call the "populars". Basically my crew, known as the rejects kinda hate em with all our guts. You, a "norm", unless you switch sides. Norms are the neutral territory. The Populars are Ade, some prissy blonde from a rich household, Jay, who everyone calls the Prince, apparently hes a big star in Korea, 'nuff said." Rae scoffed and thought for a moment. "Anna is the hippe model from a business family, Jae i dont know much about and Emma apparently has a perfect family, lucky her." In her tired state Rae just blurted out all the information Mar would need and laid her head on her hands. "Welcome to Genisis." |
Sky was busy with playing with her jacket ears that she almost did not feel her phone vibrate. Smiling she took it out and giggled softly. People had already replied to her.
To: ShaleSky smiled, blushing slightly at how caring her friends were. She smiled happy to have such great friends. She nodded and then laid her head down again. Her eyes closed tight and then next thing she knew the bell rang. She was still sleepy and stayed put. Soon a cold hand rubbed softly on her back sending a chill up and down her spin. She jumped literally out of her seat. Looking up and fixing her jacket, she saw the Teacher, Mr. Macallister. “Are you all right Skyller.” Her name ran over his tongue in a way that made her shiver. Wince as he picked her up she smiled and grabbed her books. He grabbed her arm and pulled her back. “Remember after school.” He spoke and then let go of her arm. She walked out of the classroom and to the girl’s locker room. She swiftly put her stuff in her locker and grabbed her PE clothes. Running into a bathroom, she locked the door of the stall and sat up on the toilet. She cried into her clothes for a few minutes before she heard the teacher calling everyone out. She swiftly took her jacket, dress, leggings, and boots off. Slipping the shit, shorts, and gym shoes on. She walked out and put her clothes away in her locker, running out and into the gym. Once she was in the gym, she sat down on the bleachers and clung to the railing. She had completely forgotten about her arms, all bruised up and red. Kids cam over to her, some laughed and other asked what happened. “I fell down my drive way. It’s steep and rocky.” If anyone knew her house, they would know that she was lying. Her driveway is flat and solid slab of rock. She pulled her sleeves into her shirt and then looked around. No one that she knew was hear so she stood up and walked to Coach Gibson. Taking her arms out she walked to him and asked him if she could go to the nurses office. He quickly said yes and she ran off to the locker room. grabbing her things, she didn’t even change, she walked to the nurses office, stopping and standing next to the lockers. She slide down the lockers and sat there. Pulling her phone out she began typing in a text: To: Rae ---------------------------------------------------- [time skip to 3rd period cause I feel like it, nuh] The third period bell rang and Vance jumped out of his seat grabbing his backpack and walking down the halls. He was smiling ever so brightly and walking with a little jump and wave to his movements. Soon he pretended that he was on a high rail, his arms out and he stood on his tiptoes, walking down in a straight line, wobbling every so often. He so a friend of his in the popular group, giving him a high five he smiled and then skipped on into the boys locker room. He dressed rather quickly and then walked on into the gym. He noticed Sky and the bunch of people that were standing around her. When she walked up to the coach he now understood why the kids where staring at her and gathering. Her arms fill with bruises and cuts. He was worried but he would not go after her, it did not seem right. Therefore, he decided to text the few people that knew her very well. Forwarded to the Reject Group that I loves:He put the phone away and started to play a small game of basketball. |
Mar laughed at the comment about Jenny. "Yeah, she got to me. She's super nice." Mar nodded as she listened to Rae go on about the cliques of the school and their infamous members. "Wow," she mused, looking back at Rae, "Seems no matter what school you change to, you can't escape the angst of teenage drama." She closed her eyes for a second. "My old school wasn't this bad though...." Mar mumbled. "And thanks, you know, for the info." Mar smiled at Rae, wiggling her eyebrows.

The vibrating in Rae's poecket made her groan quietly, making her receive a glance from Mr. Dahl. She smiled apologetically and took her phone out and read the text. You know me too well Sky. p.s; theres something i need to talk to you about later. Rae sent the text and sighed. While she was out with her mom last night picking up liquor she over heard some populars from her school talking about how Mr Macallister was with a reject fitting Sky's description and there were...innappropriate things going on. Naturally Rae punch all three of them in the face, knocking them all outcold, but it made her wonder. Sky seems so closed, and if this was the reason Rae was really worried. Turning to Mar she shrugged. "Every school has some issues, yet ours is a war i guess. and its no problem. You're new. Id rather you know the jist now, then get caught in it later." Rae rolleyed her eyes, as many Norms have gotten caught in the crossfire in the past, never pretty. |
Sky was busy with her jacket, slipping it on finally to cover her arms up. She smiled softly and played with the ears. Hearing her phone vibrate on the title, she picked it up and opened it, reading Rae’s response.
To: Rae She closed the phone and slipped it into her pocket, getting up she walked into the nurse’s office, it was empty. She found a nice bed and pulled the curtains behind her. She laid down on the bed, her backpack in her arms and her phone in her hand. The bunny jacket was pulled over her head blocking her eyes. |
Thinking of a way to word it rae paused for a bit. Reading the text from Vance she sighed. I know about it, dont bring it up though ok? Sky didnt know she knew though..her mothers boyfriend had had to go to the house a few weeks back due to a noise complaint..and said that Sky was pretty bangged up, her father claiming she fell down the stairs. He knew though, and so did Rae. Returning to the text from Sky she froze. she couldnt just tell her, she run home and lock herself up and refuse to talk to her. I need your help party planning, we havent had a good one in a while and i think its long overdue. She hated lying to Sky..well partially, hell yes she'd have this party. |
Vance froze in the middle of the basketball game when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He went to the sidelines and read the text.
To: Raevin He smiled and nodded, best to leave this to Rae, if Sky was going to talk to anyone it would be Rae and this made Vance relieved. --------------- Sky lifted her head when she got the text back form Rae. Smiling she laughed softly and wrote a swift reply; To: Rae She smiled and closed her hone, thinking about the party and how cool it will be. Or how cool she hopes it will be. She laughed and then closed her eyes, not sleeping but just resting her eye lids. [short lolz] |
Feeling that Vance's text required no reply she only texted back Sky, this girl needed her. Vance said she left, which meant she was probably at the nurse..To Sky -- So what are you doing? P.E with Vance i think right? "Rae, put the cell away, please." "Yes, Mr Dahl.." She said rolling her eyes and sliding her phone in her pcket. |
Sky sleepily put her phone up close to her eyes, opening then slowly and looking at the text.
To: Raey Sky sent the text and then got up and off the bed. Stripping the PE clothes and gym shoes off her she put her regular clothes back on; the dress, leggings, boots and bunny jacket. Fixing her hair, she quickly grabbed her PE stuff and ran quietly down the hall. Happy that her boots where flats she did not make much noise. She slipped into the girl’s locker room and put away the PE things, when ran back to the nurses office. She slipped under the covers and cuddled with the pillow. The bed wasn’t that comfortable but she didn’t care, right now, however, she did wish she had her stuffed gloomy bear. Sky smiled softly however thinking about that party they were going to create. She couldn’t wait for it. |
The blonde let out a nervous sigh. She was toast if anyone would've caught her, and Jay was right about that.
To: Jay From: Adelaide Thanks, I was just worried I made you mad, and ya know kinda freak out lol. =] and thanks.=] Like I said I thought I made you mad... and thought maybe you were gonna tell me forget about the movies. lol. Can't wait though ;] xoxo **** Shale was about to respond when she dashed into her classroom. Pulling the pony tail out of his hair and smoothing it down he waved the little band at Liza. Hurrying off to photo he walked in and gave a small wave to Mr. Dahl. The older man just shook his head and shrugged knowing the blonde could care less if he was late. He had taken a seat next to Rae. "Hey, Rae, long time no see," he chuckled softly. Beach Bum felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and pulled it out to see a text from Liza. Softly a grin graced his face. To: Liza From: Shale haha. thank for leaving your ponytail thing with me. I needed one. But yeah I'll catch up with you at lunch. Annd sure I'll teach you. Never really taught anyone, but can't be too hard right? We'll wait til it gets warmer though I don't wanna give you a chill haha. Peering around Rae he saw an unfamiliar girl with her septum pierced. "Yo, I'm Shale. Nice to see a new face here," he said coolly as he introduced himself. Mr. Dahl coughed catching Shale's attention, and the bum just nodded realizing the teacher wanted him to pay attention. |
Kai picked up the piece of paper Adelaide had left behind and looked at the number. He shrugged and pulled his phone out, entering it into his phone-book before shredding the paper and dropping the little pieces into the trash can. He strolled through the empty hallways to his locker and quickly pulled it open, ignoring the graffiti written all over the front of it. He grabbed his black portfolio and shut his locker, making sure the lock was on good, he didn't want someone pulling a prank on him again, the green paint from last time had taken forever to get out of his hair. As he walked to his classroom he pulled his cell out and typed in a reply to Sky before stepping into his class.
To: Sky From: Kai~ Yea, I'll wait. Where are you going to be? Jae pulled his phone out, keeping it hidden under his desk and quickly read the text. To: Jay From: Jae Thanks, but no thanks. I like having a light schedule. Not so much hectic time constraints and stuff. How long are you staying in the States anyway? He hit send and slid the phone back into his pocket, looking up just in time, the teacher was turning around, having finished writing notes on the board. Math was the only class he didn't have with anyone he knew well, so it tended to be his most boring class. |
ToSky alright then, see you at lunch baby. Rae looked up as she felt a body sit next to her and smiled at Shale. "Hey there you bum, how have you been?" When he talked to the new girl she nodded to her self. "Yeah, i just told her the jist of Genisis High." Leting out a soft laugh she yawned, her eyes had slightly dark bags under them, but she had covered them with makeup. Unless you really looked you couldnt tell. [[college tymmmeeee, well i need to finish my homework and then go lol. class 1-230ish then buying school books so...3ish?]] |
Mar nodded just as a shaggy haired blond took the seat next to Rae. "Hey, nice to meet you too," she answered back as he introduced himself. "I'm Mar." As she was about to ask the two if they knew any good skate parks around, Mr. Dahl cleared his throat interrupting her thoughts. She'd ask them later.
