Ellie smiled and hugged him back. She wondered what he would do if she said that she had been shot at leat two or three times since the last time she had seen him. "I am glad because I dont plan to leave you." she said as she looked into his eyes and loved him more then anything else.

Blade smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Good cuz im not letting you outta my sight from now on when I can help it...." he said and then looked at Michela.

Ellie smiled and nodded, it was nice ot know that she had someone watching her. "I was wondering if you had any plans tonight.' she said as she looked at him and smiled.

Blade groaned and nodded in the positive. "Yeah... I 've gotta play tonight at the club." he said wishing he could go out with Ellie. "Funny I still havent found another job besides the one you hooked me up with." he said and grinned. Suddenly his cell phone rang and he answered it. He then paled and held up a finger and walked away. "Mom. No. Dont you dare! Mom! Mom listen to me! I care! Yes... Stay right there..." he said and shook his head. He hung up and looked at them. "I have to go.... My mom,..... My dad called again... And somehow she found a gun.... Ive gotta go..." he said worriedly.

Ellie placed a hand on his arm, "let me come, you know I can convince her to calm down." she said as she looked at him. She wanted to help him and his mother more then anything else since she loved them so much.

Blade nodded and looked at Ellie. "We have to hurry." he said and grabbed her hand. He ran to his car. His camero his dad had left his mom and once Ellie was inside he blasted down the road. He was extremely worried for his mom and when he pulled up to the small black house he ran inside forgetting to shut the door. "Mom?! Mom!!" he called looking around. He then ran upstairs and found her with a hand gun in her hands. He looked at her shocked. She had been cutting herself again with the razor... And blood covered the floor. She was a mess and looked up at him. "Blade?" she whispered hoarsely. "Mom... Please... Put the gun down..." he whispered softly and came towards her. "No!" she said angerily and cocked the gun and he froze. "Mom... Don't make me do something I'll regret..." he warned softly and used his powers to calm her down. She then dropped the gun and brusted into tears. Blade quickly ran to her side and pulled her into his arms. "Its arlight.... I'm here mom..." he whispered and she clung to him getting blood on his band sweatshirt but he didn't care... As long as she hadn't killed herself.

Ellie walked over to his mother and stroked her head gently. But then picked up the gun and found herself in cop mode. "take her down to the hosptial now, I have to file this as attempt at suicide and give a few calls. I will get her a few coucilers and hopefully they will help." she siad as she walked over to a towl and grabed it. She then walked over to them and wrapped it around her arms around stroked her head gently. "dont worry, you will be okay." she siad softly.

Blade looked up at Ellie and nodded but his mom struggled innhis arms. "No! No! No!" she said struggling in his arms. "Mom! Mom, call down..." he said but she struggled harder. "No! I want James!" she cried threw her tears. "Mom! Dad's gone! It's just us!" he said over her wailing. "No! No! He's not! He said he loved me!" she cried and Blade looked at her. "No he doesn't! He left!" blade said angerily and looked into her eyes. "How do I know you won't do the same?!!" she cried. "I won leave you mom... I promise... I just want the best for you..." he whispered and she looked into his eyes. "O-okay..." she studdered and he picked her up gently and began carrying her down to the car.

Ellie walked out after them and looked at his mother. "dont worry, me and Blade aren't leaveing you anytime soon." she siad as she got into the car with Blade and got out her cell phone. She called the police station here and started to talk with them. SHe asked them to come to her hous eand search the place for other guns and things that she cut herself with. THen to make the house safe. WHen she was done she shut the phone and smiled at Blade, "she is going to get the best help I can get."

Blade nodded driving to the hospital and took his trembling mother out of the backseat. He then walked inside and the nurses and doctors took her into the back to get her bandaged up. Blade then shoved his hands in his pockets and looked at the floor. "I hate him.... I hate him for doing this to her..." he growled hating his father for even exsisting.

Ellie sighed, "yes, I know you do but you cant change what has happend." he said as he looked at him. She placed a hand on his shoulder and looked at him. "he left and I thought you would like ot know but he is in jail." he said as he looked at him. "we caught him when he held up a bank and demanded money. He was a bad egg form the start and I am glad that he left you and your mother. But I will get her help." she said as she looked at him.

Blade looked up surprised and met her eyes. "He what?!" he said surprised and looked into her eyes hocked. "He didn't... He wouldn't throw away his music career for that..." he said but sure enough on the tv his father was being escorted to prision. Blade's jaw dropped and he looked at the screen. "No way..." he muttered not believing this.

Ellie sighed, "his music career was going down and he was soon on the streets after he left you. He started to go mental like your mother but instead of hurting himself he hurt others. I should know first hand since I was the one who went in after him and he tryed to blow my brains out at the bank. But we managed to get him without major injuries happening." she said but he had still shot her in the side. "sorry to be the bringer of bad news but that is sort of my job." she said as she looked at him.

Blades jaw fell open and then he loooked ad her seriously. "You-you..." he studdered and then his anger flared. "Youve been outta college this whole time?!!! And you didn't tell me?! I can't believe this!!" he growled. He was so angry. "I put off highschool for you!! And mom was a wreck when you left!" he snapped angerily. "You came into our lives and then just got up and left! And now you come back and tell me that you became a police person?! And you expect me to thank you for putting my dad away?!" he snarrled. He couldn't believe this.

Ellie looked down and knew that it hadn't been a good idea to tell him. "sorry but I couldn't tell you and I wasn't out of college all the time only part. You see I dropped out since I couldn't stand being there and joined up at the police. It was fun and I moved up quickly. Right when I was going ot come back to you the promoted me to be a undercover cop. I coudn't refuse but they gave me a assinment right away so I couldn't come back. believe me I wanted to come back to you and your mother but it was hard between the job and in the hospital." she said as she looked down. "and putting your father away was the hardest thing I had to do since I had known him and he was nice and the next moment he was shooting me in the side and nearly killing me." she said softly and didn't look at him once.

Blade looked at Ellie and then couldn't be mad anymore. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head. "Im sorry... I was just... Angry... That I wasn't there to help you and protect you..." he whispered and looked into her eyes. He wished he couldve helped her and felt horrible. "Im sorry..." he whispered holding her lovingly.

Ellie wrapped her arms around him. "it is okay." she said softly and kept him close. She had to always got to the hosptital now since his father had gotten her good and had damaged something inside her. She still had pain now and then but it was going away very slowly.

Blade shook his head and looked at her. "No it's not... I shouldn't have let you go.... Then you wuldnt have gotten hurt..." he whispered holding her. He felt like he had failed her. "And everything would be okay."

Ellie shook her head and looked at him. "I am fine and everything is already better then it was before and your momis going to be fine." she said as she looked at him. She placed her hand on his cheek and smiled at him, "and everything is okay now that i have you back." she said as she looked at him.

((What? What the hell happened?))

((blade's mom attempted suicide and Ellie and blade went to help her... Giving michela time to be with Aric alone.))

blade was releaved and looked at Ellie. Then a nurse came up telling them that they could see his mom now. He took Ellie's hand and led her into the room. His mom looked fine now and smiled. "Ellie... I knew you'd come back..." she whispered hoarsly.

((This is only cause I need this to happen for the plot))

Michaela called Blade. Blade please pick up please. She said silently. She didnt know if he could hear her or not. She was in the bathroom running from Aric. He hit her again. She wasnt sure how long she could hide from him.

Ellie smiled at her and placed a hand on her arm. "of course I came back, why wouldn't I." she said as she looked at Blades mother.

Michaela hung up and called Simon. Aric was outside of the door.

Simon had been tracking Aric when he fot Michaela's call and was of right away. He ran down the hall like a spazz and hwen he saw Aric outsid eht door he tackled him like he was on the football team.
