Kate nodded. "That might be good," she said as she held her chest. "I haven't shifted in awhile and I feel like my head is going to explode. But I don't know if I should with you around...lycans and shape-shifters might have similiar powers but shape-shifters can have full control of themselves when they shift." She let out a heavy sigh. "I hate what I am..."

Kate got in the seat next to him and buckled her seat belt even though see didn't see a need to...a car crash has never killed a lycan or vampire before but there is always a first. "If you think you can...some people underestimate me from the way I act in human form." She then smiled as she rubbed her neck. "And since you have experience..."

"I'm sure I can handle one lycan..." He said as they drove off school grounds at a fast pace, heading down towards the abannnd field h'd spotted, surrounded by fence and forest.

She nodded and then looked down at her hands which were trembling. She put them under her legs so she wouldn't have to see them. Her skin that was touch by the moon light stung like it did when her legs feel asleep but she could not help but love the moon's beauty as well. "It's a strange thing, the moon," she said aloud not really speaking to Acadian, just letting him know what she was thinking.

Acadan nodded, silently agreeing. Finaly, he pulled up along the side of the road. In the pale light of the full moon, you could just see the golden dry grass just shining through the gaps in the trees at the edge of the road.

Kate got out and looked around to admire the beauty. She then walked towards the tree line but stopped right in front of the first tree and turned around. "Are you ready?" she asked as she took off her shoes, her voice was shaking a little.

She inhaled deeply and slowly let it out as she let the creature inside her claw it's way out. She collapsed to the ground as her bones started to shift and crack making to form of a large wolf. Her skin broke and fur escaped it until she was completely covered and her face unrecognizable. Once it was finished she stood up on her legs and looked at Acadian panting with exhaustion. She felt good, like a burden had been lifted from her but she still kept her distance from Acadian because the sound of his heart beat was exciting her, but she didn't know whether or not his smell would be tempting in this form she was in.

"Kate?" He asked, hesitantly, unsure if she could understand him. From all his friends who were waeres, only some of them could ever remember any of it, and a maller amount of them could understand him.

Kate clenched her jaw at the sound of her name and dug her claws into the ground. The moonlight felt like it was pounding down on her causing her head to throb. It was a bad idea, she shouldn't have turned. She could not control herself completely and she felt the urge to lunge at the figure in front of her that she could barely recognize as Acadian her memory blurred and she became scared. Something was bubbling inside her and she let out a blood chilling howl begging to moon to spare her. The smell of blood radiated off of Acadian and she inched closer to him and let out a small growl.

Now Kate saw the figure as only a threat and she lunged towards him with a snarl and bit down hard on his neck causing blood to spew into her mouth. She let go of him and staggered back at the taste of the blood, it was nothing like a humans. She let out another snarl and attacked him again this time ramming him in the chest with her head.

Kate looked up at the new figure that had just arrived. She growled at her but did not find her as much as a threat as the thing she was fighting. The monster had completely consumed her and there was no human reason left in her, she wouldn't remember this in the morning.

A wind swept past Cloud while he sat down on a rock. He pulled out a crystal ball with black markings on it out and cupped it in both of his hands. He stared into it's misty depths. Then the mist started to swirl and it moved to the sides to reveal a white haired boy playing with a dog. He was laughing and rolling around with the dog, his face full of glee. Cloud smiled at his younger self, and then he let his hand float past the ball, and the mist closed on the scene.

Cloud got up and walked towards the forest. Once he made it to the tree line, he ducked in and started to walk down deeper into the forest.

Kate squirmed but couldn't break free, he had her pinned. She snarled and growled at the wolf that was on top of her. She had no idea who this was and she didn't care one way or the other but her human form inside her cried from the lost of control that she had on this beast. Suddenly she passed out as the moon became completely covered by clouds and then slowly turned back into her human form, passed out from exhaustion.

Acadian held Kate pinned to the ground until she shifted back, then let her go, and shifted back into his human form. He picked the girl up carefully, andcarried her back to the car. He laid Kte down in the back seat, and got out a blanket, draping it over her after buckling the seatbelt.

Kate woke up for a moment while in his arms and looked at him. She mumbled something, but not even see really knew what she was saying, and then fell back asleep when he put her in the car and buckled her in.

Acadian missed what was said, but shrugged it off.

What she muttered to him was "I'm sorry", even though she did not even know she was saying it. She could have killed him but thankfully he was stronger than she was. A tear slipped from her eye as she dreamed of nightmares.

Acadian was about to get into the drivers seat and head back to the school, when he noticed tears fallin down Kate's cheeks. H stopped, and turned, getting into the back as well. Unbuckng the ycan's seatvbelt, he pulledher into his arms, holding her as she slept.

As she slept Kate rolled up into a ball in Acadian's arms as she buried her face in his chest. Her dreams softened as she smelled his scent and felt the warmth of his body. Even though she was unconscious this was the safest she has felt for a long time.
