Marcus let a long sigh and sipped his coffee, " I have a twin sister." He set the mug down on the table and looked at his reflection in the brown liquid. " We were the first set of twins that were born co ed.... some how," he paused, " She became the vampire. It's really embarrassing actually."

Melrose smiled to herself and walked down the stairs, tripping on the bottom one and landing on her face."ouch" she muttered and slowly picked herself up off the floor.

He stops short of the stairs and places a hand on his head, feeling a bit warm he smiles to himself and places his hand on teh railing pulling himself up onto the stairs and into a steady Strut up them.

yumi smiled at him and took a plate of her own, seeing it didnt have much meat on it. she pointed to an uninhabited table and started walking to it. "hows here?" she asked, sitting down and not waiting for an answer. she opened her milk carton and stuck her straw into it, waiting for him to sit down.

((Okay the people with two characters have to start role playing with other people...you cant just carry on by yourself))
"But don't you have a power then?" Alysa asked him feeling a bit confused about his story. "I mean are you just human or did you get something else besides...vampire-ism?"

"Yeah, this is fine," Zach told her as he sat down next to her. He began eating but wasn't really hungry for this food. He figured since the full moon was coming around shortly he would go hunting then. "So...what's your family like?" he asked trying to start a conversation.

yumi looked at him over her milk and set it down, trying to decide wheather or not to tell him. she didnt know what he would or even could say, but it slipped out before she had a chance to think of stopping it. "they're all dead. except my brother. he is missing." she immidiatly regretted telling him and teared up. she burried her face in the arm sleeve of his jacket she was now wearing and wiped her eyes to try stopping the tears from showing. she hated crying. especially in front of people. "sorry..."

Marcus sipped his coffee and looked back acrosshe table to Alysa and smiled, " I'm a shapeshifter. "

Alysa smiled. "That sound better than being a vampire," she told him. "They are probably just jealous."

Zach shook his head. "Don't be," he told her as he put his arm around her shoulders trying to comfort her. "I'm so sorry for your loss," he said biting his lip hating that he brought it up, he didn't want her to hurt. He moved her arm away from her face so he could look her in the eyes. "If you need to cry, go ahead and cry, I don't mind," he told her gently.

yumi nodded, but held it back as long as she could. about five seconds later, however, she seemed to be burrying her face in his chest and holding onto him. he felt like her brother in a way. he used to let her cry whenever she wanted. she stayed like that for about five minutes then stopped shaking long enough to raise her head and wipe her tears. "thank you...zach." she said slowly and quietly. she looked at her plate and then turned her head back to him. "i didnt know how much i needed that..." she murmered, then looked up at his face, blushing for what she did. "sorry anyways...i didnt mean to..."

yumi was a bit surprised when he hugged her but hesitatedly hugged back. "thank you again." she said, pulling back and smiling warrily at him. she looked back at her plate and sipped on her milk quietly. she watched him carefully, trying to understand him, but came up short. nobody had ever let her cry like that. except her brother. and nobody was usually this nice to her. except her brother.

yumi jumped in her seat and hawked at him. "w-wh-what?" she asked, thinking she must have heard something wrong. "my brother. he has only been missing about a year, but i found my student application for this school already filled out in his place. i think that if i can perfect my powers, i can find him easier." she put down her milk, loosing her apitite and looked at him. "i would like that very much." she nodded and hugged him. "thanks."

yumi thought a moment and nodded. "okay thats fine with me." she said simply. she began to think of her ig brother. how he looked like her and talked kindly to people. and how he looked good in any outfit. he cared about her a lot and she missed him deeply. the moment she started to think of when their village was slaughtered, the red, blood, her parents, her brother picking her up and them both running away. she snapped the thoughts away hoping he had not seen them.

yumi stood still and unaffected, but touched his arm after awile. "are you okay?" she asked him. "you look pale." she said quietly and put her hand to his forehead. seeing nothing wrong with him on the outside she caught her breath. "did i-?" she asked, not sure of what to think.

Marcus shrugged lightly and finished off of his cup, " Its more embarrassing than anything. I am not able to work for the family like I'm supposed to." He opened a jam packet andopened a sweetnlow packet and poured into the jam packet. Swirling it around with his pinky finger he continues, " I even tried shape shifting into a vampire... But I couldn't do it... I would get sick... from all the blood..." He put his pinky in his mouth and sucked off the jam. " I'm a disgrace.... I tried..." he stopped himself and ate some more jam..

Zach took her hand as he shook her head. "It's fine, it just took me by surprise is all," he told her giving a weak smile. But then looked away with his forehead creased. "I'm so sorry...that must have been unbelievable hard...to see all that and experience it." He was amazed about how incredible strong this girl was, both mentally and physically. If he were to have lost his parents like that, and lose Alysa, how would he have gone on? He lost his real mom by natural causes and that was hard enough.

Alysa listen to Marcus as she slowly drank her coffee. She frowned when she heard him use the word disgrace towards himself and then shook her head. "Don't say that!" she exclaimed soft enough to where she wouldn't draw attention to herself from the other students in there. "How could you think this way about yourself?! If your family is too blame...well...I'm glad you're not like them then! They sound just awful!" she took a deep breath to calm herself and then looked back at him. "Nobody should make there child fill worthless just because they were born differently. So what if you are different?" She gritted her teeth so she would stop talking, she didn't want to upset him.
