Shale smiled as he listened to Sky explain what she was doing. He nodded softly and smiled. "Well that's awesome. And I may take you up on that trip to the studio. You both seem to be doing well." He let out a soft chuckled and a smile. Running a hand threw his hair he took yet another sip of his green tea frappucino. He was tempted to asked them about Liza, but he decided not to. The past, was the past and he needed to forget it. "I'm surprised to see you guys here... I mean not that I tried to like run away from home... I just figured I'd never seen anyone again." He grinned as he looked between the two of them.


Adelaide noticed him look down at her foot and she immediately wanted to cover it up. Now looking back on the tattoo it was a silly idea... or was she just thinking that because this cute guy was here? Softly she giggled as he said about her majors. It was true, she was pulling a huge load, but she wanted to be a film critic which would need some hard work. Adel followed him to the front of the car playing with a strand of blonde hair as he asked about her job. "Uhm, well... it's only part-time... but I model." She answered quietly. Her mind immediately went back to high school. The rejects, or rockers as she had preferred to call them after talking to Kai, had always hated the populars. Connor sure looked like a rocker, but then "she wondered if stereotypes really mattered in the real world. "Mind if I join you up there?" She asked softly with a smile her voice light and airy. "I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere."

"You and me both, after the whole... graduation fiasco with my parents getting exposed as... you know whats...after those students tripped off the stage and started bleeding really bad... I just figured everyone would hate me..." Bekki admitted in a soft voice as she sipped her Mocha. It was true, she expected everyone to hate her, or treat her like a freak. That was why she had moved two days after graduation.

Connor grinned as she mentioned modeling. "Really now? Impressive." He said as he patted the hood of his car inviting her up. "We'll i have band practice in a few actually. You could come if you like." Turning towards her he took of his shades revealing bright blue eyes. "We have a gig coming up soon and we wanna turn things up a notch." Looking back towards the beach he watched the waves crash. It had been a while since he had walked on the beach, and he now had an urge to do so. Damn band practice... he thought to himself.

Shale just shrugged. "I think I graduated a year ahead of you... even if I didn't I don't even remember my ceremony. I was too busy thinking of trying to get my name out there." He grinned softly. Of course he had heard of what happened from Liza. The blonde took another sip of his frapp as he sat at the table. Looking out the window he thought of surfing, but he was having a good time here.

The blonde blushed as he said her being a model was impressive. She smiled and lightly sat on the hood of his car her bare feet resting on the bumper. "Actually, that would be really neat. If you don't mind me tagging along." Adelaide answered softly as bright blue eyes met her vivid green ones. She followed his gaze to the water and saw him staring out at it. "What kind of music do you guys play?" Adel asked as her eyes then returned to his.

Ryo walked down the street stopping at a coffee shop and walking in, he walked strait up to the counter and ordered a strawberry and creme with extra creme. then he turned around and scanned the place waiting for them to finish making it. he thought he recognized a few people but he wasnt sure, so he turned back around grabbing his drink then walking to an empty table and sitting down.

Sky smiled softly at her friends, she could not help but to giggle softly and nod when Shale said he might take her up on her offer. She listened to Bekki and she smiled soft, she leaned over and pulled Bekki into a hug. “I like my friends to not be normal, all the crazier the better.” She smiled hoping it would help, she really just loved the idea and fact that Bekki was not human. She smiled and turned her head to look around. She smiled widely when she saw a boy in the corner. “Be right back.” Sky got up and very sneakily snuck up behind this boy and glomped-hugged him from behind. “Hi! Lookie who is here guys!” she smiled and waved back at Bekki and Shale. Turning back to the boy still in her arms she smiled and kissed his head, coming around and sitting on the floor infront of him. “Hi Ryo.”

Bekki smiled as Sky hugged her and giggled a little, then turned around as she got up and walked away. Raising an eyebrow in confusion she smiled seeing Ryo. "What is this? Flash back day?" She asked smiling widely as she stood up and walked over to him and hugged him also.

Ryo was startled when sky grabbed and hugged him from behind, almost spilling his drink. when she sat down in front of him he smiled, "Wow hi Sky... one hell of a greeting you gave me.. almost killed me to." he said smiling and taking a drink from his cup. "Why are you all here?" he asked as he hugged bekki to.

"I came here on my break from the magazine next store, and i ran into Sky here, and Shale over there." Bekki said grabbing her drink and sitting next to Sky.

Jade scooted her chair closer to his and hugged him. She slowly growled jokingly. "I'm still your squishy. I am your only squishy. I shall be squishy forever. And as long as I am squishy, you are mine. I claim you." she said. She smiled remembering her old nickname he made for her. "Then a leash there will be." she said as she smirked.

Gwen, upon hearing some voices, turns around, before she got in line to order her drink, and noticed Sky, Shale and Bekki, all sitting together, talking. She did a double take. She hadn't seen them in ages! But she was a bit reluctant to go over.
She got in line to order her drink, trying to convince herself to go over and say hi.

Connor smiled when she said she'd come, yet kept his eyes on the horizon as he answered her question. "We dont like to lable our music as anything. Music is so many things at once." As he spoke his one hand spun his cross ring around his right ring finger. His mother had given it to him when he moved out. "It can be a feeling, a story, a message, or just a means of venting. We all have our different reasons for doing it, while some might have no reason at all." Turning to look at her he smiled as the breeze made his hair fly around his face a bit. "My reasons vary between the four."

Shale smiled as Sky hugged Bekki. It was nice to see that even though they had left high school they could still be friends. He turned to Bekki as he watched Sky get up. "As long as you don't bite we'll be pals." He grinned with a wink a Bekki. Turning to look at Sky he saw her glomp somebody and he nearly fell off his seat laughing. He waved as he saw it was another kid from high school, Ryo. As he saw Bekki get up he just stayed seated and made space for Ryo pulling up another chair. Shale figured they would come back and sit down because he knew if he got up he would have to head for the beach.


Adelaide listened intently as he explained the band's philosophy or just lifestyle. She watched him spin the ring on his finger drawn to the silver shine. As he looked at her she looked at him smiling lightly. The wind took her hair as well blowing it across her shoulders. "Well it sounds interesting. I'll just have to make a judgment myself... and I may look like a girlie girl, but I listen to some hard stuff." She giggled softly with a wink. "But I like your reasons for playing. Usually people play for money... but I think you have a good combo going." Adel answered as she pushed some of her hair behind her ear.

Bekki looked up and saw Shale was still sitting and turned to Sky. "Come on, bring Ryo back to our table, my purse is still over there." She said getting up and walking back over. "Sorry, this is crazy huh? Oh and your little comment." she said sitting across from him. She leaned closer and flashed her fangs quickly then retracted them. "I wont bite unless you want me to." She whispered then leaned back with a smile, and started cracking up laughing.

The blonde ran a hand threw his hair as the group came over to the table. "Nice ta see ya again Ryo." He grinned at the other boy. Then looking to Bekki he just smiled at her and winked. "I'll keep that in mind." Shale saw her flash the pair of fangs, but honestly it didn't exactly bother him. He accepted things like mermaids, so why couldn't there be vampires?

Running his hand through his hair he grinned. "I dont judge what people listen too by how they look. But yeah, i guess you have to find your own interpretation." Hopping off the hood he held his hand out to her to help her down. "You want to follow me? Or take a spin in my baby?" He asked patting his car lightly on the hood.

Sky giggled as she watched Ryo react to everything. When Bekki came over and then told her to come to the table and bring Roy she smiled and took his drink coaksking him to come. “Come ones Ryo or no drink for you.” She smiled and brought a chair for him to sit in as she placed his drink by the chair and smiled.

Vance laughed as he heard the old nickname he had given her. He smiled and looked down while they were still in the hug. Shaking his head, he soon picked her up and placed her in his lap. “Yes you are my squishy, and my squishy you shall stay.” He smirked and started to tickle her as he held onto her. “My squishy."

Adelaide tilted her head a little then smiled. "Well, let's just say it's not often that I hear that phrase." She answered lightly taking his head and stepping gently down off the car. As she stepped onto the ground she briefly kept her hand in his then slipped her hand away and crossed her arms as though thinking. "Hmmmm. I think I'll ride with you since your car is just so pretty." She answered softly her green eyes looking up at him.

Jade squirmed and giggled, trying to break free, but it was no use. "Yes, your squishy indeed." she said. She kissed him gently and smiled. "What happens when all those supermodels want you and I'm not there, you will be able to handle yourself, won't you dear?" she asked. She already knew he wouldn't cheat on her, but she smiled and asked anyway.

Ryo smiled, "What?!?!?!? no drink.. how could you?" he joked as he stood up and walked over to the table, then he plopped down in teh chair grabbing the drink and taking a sip. "So why are you all here? i mean like i thought you all would go your seperate ways and so on after grad.. why you still here?"

Shale grinned as Ryo came over and sat down with them. "Well, I went pro... so the coast is the perfect place for me." He took another sip of his green tea frapp and smiled at his friend. The blonde ran a hand threw his hair grinning at his friend.

Gwen, deciding it was better to go over and say hello walked over to the group slowly, as if unsure, knowing there was no way she'd be making it to the appointment on time. She'd find a way to reschedule. She always did manage to do that. She took a sip of her nonfat mocha before speaking up, running a hand through her hair, unsure if this was the right thing to do.

"Hello?"

Connor grinned and went to the passenger door to open it for Adel. Once she had stepped in he shut the door and hopped and slid across the hood of his car. Why not show off a bit? She was cute. Once on the other side he hopped into his car without opening the door, put the keys in the ignition and sarted the car. It was loud at first, an intimidating loudness that lowered to a sweet purr. Looking over at adel he grinned and pulled out of the spot before zooming down the road in the direction of his bands' studio.

Adelaide followed him over to the passenger side and sat down so he could close the door. She smiled and giggled softly as he slid across the hood. The blonde watched as he got into the car and started the engine up. Adel nearly jumped when she heard the engine roaring, but was glad it called down. As he looked at her she smiled back as they drove off towards his studio. She wasn't overly familiar with this part of town. Adelaide mostly stuck around the beach and such, but she was looking to discover the city more.

Connor parked infront of an old building after a few minutes of driving. "Here we are." He said as he turned off the engine and looked passed the girl in the passenger seat and towards the buildng. The outside may have looked out of shape, but the inside was completely redone and modernized. He was a few minutes late but when the guys saw he was with a girls they'd let it slide. Connor was know to bring girls to practice, but not very often. He usuall ended up dating them for a few das before he'd break it off. There was always something wrong..missing as he put it. That or the girl was just psychonuts. Getting out of the car he walked around and opened Adel's door. "M'lady." He said in his pro english accent.
