Vira giggled at his ridiculousness, although her grin faded slightly when Prince said that they couldn't be more than friends. She looked up into his sad eyes, then returned her to her ever happy grin. "Well what does race matter? But if you really don't think we should then... well that's okay to!" she gave him a big smile, "We'll just be the best of best friends!" Vira climbed down from his arms and stood in front of Prince. She grabbed his hand, working him through a strange and complex handshake, "Aha! there! Best friends, friends forever!" she declared openly.

((Haha, Kari doesn't even know what's happening about her, and Hikaru's too busy trying to repress his emotions to care XD It'll depend on Deka!))

Varick frowned. "You... you don't get it. Deka's my friend. And... well... he's... not... normal?" At this point in time Varick was blushing like crazy as he tried not to pass out or burst into nervous tears. He wasn't really one to speak with woman, especially a female such as her.

She was... different. Refreshing and real. She reminded him of himself. Smiling, Varick forced his hand to touch hers.

His hand was trembling. Violently vibrating on its own. Varick, who was no longer breathing, bit his lip. A small squeak came from his lips when she stood. Almost whimpering, Varick stood and sort of 'stalked' her. He, unlike his brother, was not one to make friends all that well. Moreover, he was shy as hell. Well, at times he was.

Pushing past his frightened state, Varick tried to smile at her. His eyes closed as he gave her a weak grin. "I'm like a puppy?" Blushing, he brushed up against Riya. "Oh... ummmm, I don't think... Kari or Deka need me. They haven't before. Lawrence is the only one that actually likes me... I think." His tone sadden as he spoke. It was evident that Varick lacked self-confidence and that he was just a frightful broken child.

Audry stretched out in his seat a little and sighed, he rolled out of the seat and tossed the top hat across the room.

A small black demon with long whit hair appeared and caught it, "Bored master?" It asked, the demon's gender was not apparent.

Audry nodded a bit "That I am...stay here...field questions...don't hurt anyone" He said with a frown, "Serious..." He said pointing at him as he walked out into the hall way.

“I suspect few at this school are…” she muttered to herself as she thought over the school and him not being ‘normal‘…the amount of magic in the blood of people at this school was INSANE. That many grouping into a school coincidental? She doubted it,…it didn’t help that she’d been reminded of a demon when Deka ‘changed’. She said nothing more of it, however, treating her own statement as a random offhanded comment… barely noting he touched her hand though when she did she blinked in surprise and grew close to blushing…. Thankfully she got it in time to order her blood to return to its normal flow.

She looked to him as he spoke again, nodding as she’d never seen anyone take that as a compliment though she always meant it as one… puppies were cuddly, loving, and loyal so why did people always take it wrong? She blinked, blushing and looking rather confused as he brushed up against her only to force her gaze to the sky and shrug in an uncertain way…half stepping back.

“I suspect more people like you then you think…. Those guys look at you like you’re all their favorite little brother….” She shrugged again and glanced at the sky again, her gray tinted green eyes seeming to disappear into a day dream a moment. ”siblings… always wondered what that’d be like….meh.. They probably wouldn’t like my experiments an’ just get in the way…” She thought aloud, shaking her head and trying not to think about it to much. “Deka and kari though… they need people… just not one’s like me… distracting….foolish… they need puppies like you. Not somebody who can’t do what she’s told…” And with that she winked, appearing to brighten up to her usual self though of course she was still hurting and confused… still… maybe if she assuaged his conscience he wouldn’t feel the need to pretend to be her friend or something…

Lawrence looked over at Arlynn. "Wait, when did you get here?" He looked over at Deka, whom he decided to follow. Shrugging, Lawrence's eyes narrowed. Covering his mouth with his hands, the male looked almost sick.

Blood. It was the scent of blood that was causing him to feel uneasy. He wanted it. Oh did he want it. It was calling him. And it was so easy to get at too. But, holding himself back, Lawrence silently counted to 20. Once finished, he frowned. It didn't work. Biting his own lip, he split it open. Smiling, he tasted his own blood. However, it wasn't the same as her blood let alone, anyone's blood.

Lawrence looked at Arlynn and then to the twins. He was in serious pain now. Moving forward in a stiff manner, Lawrence was soon hovering over Hikari. "Heh, I can fix that." His voice was monotone and almost robotic. His eyes were fixated on her cut. His tongue tried to poke its way out of his mouth.

"Just a taste?" He said as he eyed Hikari. "Or better yet, I'LL JUST DRINK IT ALL!"

Lunging forward, Lawrence's teeth grew to twice their length. Hissing, he licked his chops. "Dinner time," he said sadistically. Grabbing at Hikari, Lawrence rushed her outside.

They were in the hidden dungeons now. Alone. Snickering, Lawrence licked Hikari's neck. "Don't whimper, I promise, you won't feel a thing. I'll be sure to make it... quick." Just as Lawrence was about to sink his fangs into Kari, something from the darkness hit him.

"Oof!" Lawrence growled. "Who dare interrupts my dining!"

"Touch her one more time, and I'll kill you." Pulling a staff from the shadows, Deka spun it about. "Come forth my shadow fiends!" As he spoke, the darkness around them began to shift and take form. A large on was now hovering over Kari. It was protecting her.

Deka slowly crept forward. With his eyes glowing a freaky blue, he stalked his brother as if the vampire were his prey. "Lawrence, snap out of it. I would hate to hurt you."

"Likewise, brother." Leaping forward, Lawrence slashed at Deka. "What is it? You're so slow!"

Barely escaping his brother's attack, Deka rolled over beside Hikari. "Hikari, get out of here. If... if anything were to happen to you... I'd... I.... Hikari... I lov-" the male was cut off. Gasping and panting, the male fought to breath in air as a hand managed to slither around his neck.

Unable to speak, Deka fought to take in small amounts of air. But, it wasn't enough. He was fading. And fast. If he were to black out, both he and Hikari would be goners.

Nipping at his neck, Lawrence looked over at Hikari. "Mmmmmmm."

Reaching out for her, Lawrence pulled the frightened girl closer. Licking her neck, he placed his fangs on her fragile skin. Just as he was about to take his bite, he fell unconscious to the ground.

Grasping for air, Deka looked over at Hikari. He smiled some. "That god for my shadows..." he finally whispered. "If I didn't have then, we'd be... dead." With that, Deka collapsed onto the ground.

Varick looked at the female beside him. "Why do you say such negative things about yourself? You're beautiful. Smart. Obviously understand your place in the world and the truths about it. You're more than you make yourself out to be."

Turning around to look at her, Varick continued. "So, why do you like Deka?" He paused. "It's not my business, but if I know what you look for in someone, perhaps I could help push you in the right direction. I've been told my pairings are usually pretty good."

He giggled some. "Okay, some of them are just for laughs, but when they work out, it's really nice. I just like to see people happy. You, my friend, need to smile more." His confidence had come back. It was whenever he gave people pep talks that he seemed to find his strength. He just truly liked helping others. He'd always had a passion for being a guardian. A protector. A friend.

"And you're not distracting or foolish. You're really cool! I... well, I'm just a puppy." He laughed again. "Puppies don't listen all that well either. Hmmm, am I a potty trained puppy? If not, then I'm a troublemaker too!" His eyes were smiling at her now too. "So, where are we off to?"

Hikari was wide-eyed. Even with the blood loss and the daze she was in, the blood lust she felt just now was enough to wake up anybody. She felt weak, she felt vulnerable, completely able to move or even talk. All she could do was whimper softly, with tears streaming from her cheeks. She raised her big, teary, puppy-dog eyes to look at Deka.

"De-Deka-san...?" she managed to whisper in a weak voice. "A-Are you alright...?"

In her condition, she should probably be worrying a bit more about herself, yet all she could worry about was Deka and the wounds Lawrence inflicted at him, wounds he'd gotten because of her....

((WHOA! THAT IS GAY! I totally wrote something! Stupid computer! Kicks and then throws in the toilet. GAYYYY!))

"Kari!"yelled Hikaru, running after them, his blades in hand. However, Hikaru got there a bit too late. Deka had already taken care of the brawl. "Seriously, all you brothers are idiots... Maybe we should just leave.... I'll find somewhere to keep Kari safe..."

Hikari was still quite out of it, but she noticed her brother's presence and felt a bit comforted. She knew she was weak of the body, she'd always been, but that's precisely what Hi-kun had always been good at.

"Oh, you are going to be my wife one day!" Prince placed a kiss on her forehead. "Only, before I marry you, I must get to know you better, my lovely young future bride." He smirked. "And if race doesn't matter to you. Then I shall show you what I really am. But you cannot tell anyone. Do you... promise me?"

Lawrence was the first to come to it again. Blinking he looked at the twins. "Ewww, why are we down here? It's so bleak... and miserable." His eyes drifted over to Deka. "Oh, well, Deka's sleeping. Believe it or not, this is his bedroom." He pointed to a bed. "See," his eyes widened and then his mouth took on the 'o' shape. "OHHHHHHHHHH! YOU AND DEKA WERE GONNA DO THE NASTY!"

A red pillow hit Lawrence in the face. "Deka-kun!"

"WE WERE NOT DOING THE NASTY! I WAS SAVING HER BUTT FROM YOU!" Huffing, Deka looked over at Kari with one open eye. "Although...." His lips curled up to reveal a joking smile.

”Beautiful?….I think you need glasses more then I do…” was her joking, flippant reply, digesting the rest but at first not saying anything of it. ”smart…maybe” She shifted then, still walking towards the next class and biting her lip. Should she really tell him? Some of the things she found attractive were so…so… messed up.

What could it hurt? At worst he’d find her a date, she’d flirt and have fun, and he’d feel his debt repaid and that’d be that. It’d be good to be distracted from Deka anyway…. She couldn’t have him even if he’d be good for her, which she was fairly sure he wasn’t if today was any judge. Not that liking anyone else would change that…. If that man was right…

Finallyshe nodded, satisfied as she gazed down at her book in a day dreamy way. “He looks like he could stand up to me….strong you know? …cute… and well different like me….and a puzzle…and like he wouldn‘t yell at me for not following the rules or not being how I‘m supposed to be… I love puzzles…and I smile a lot thank you very much…just… not usually around people…. They kinda make it clear I’m not wanted there or don’t belong….” She trailed off, not wanting to say like earlier and make him feel bad but well…. She nearly got raped, did get attacked, and nobody even asked if she was okay….not one… but a few people did glare at her or get mad and yell at her….it wasn’t the first time something like this happened though it was the first time it wasn’t so extreme….

”and you better be potty trained or I’ll drop you off at the bathroom on the way to my next class…which is where I’m heading… I like halls… they’re quiet and I can write….while I wait for the next class… “ She chuckled as well, showing the potty training thing was a joke despite her habit of using the same tone for everything…

Hikaru picked up Hikari and kicked both of the brothers. "You're not doing anything to her! Now tell me where to take her, before I end up killing her! I'm really pissed of right now, and in case you haven't noticed, when that happens" He grabbed Hikari's arm, showing her cuts "this happens to her! So stop frolicking like the fairies you are and take me to the nurse's office!"

"W-Wife?" Vira stammered, she was sure her face would be permanently reddened by now, "b-but we're far too young for that! A-Aren't we?" she hesitated, was he really going to show her? What if he was something dangerous?! Unlike most people, to Vira that thought only sounded exciting! She leaned forward a little, biting her lip as she grinned up at Prince, "I can keep a secret"

Being carried in Hikaru's arms, Hikari let herself fall into sleep. After all, Hi-kun always finds a way to keep her safe.

"Kari..? Oi, Kari, wake up! Damn it! Hurry up you two!"

((Lol, poor Wavkz must be going insane with so many characters! XD))

"Classes are canceled for today." Varick butted in. "And, hmmmm. That person sounds almost like.... Ummm. Nope, I'm definitely not hooking you up with him. Hmmmm. Well, it's either Aidan or Skyler. They are the only two people that don't actually yell. Both are fun loving and nice. But I'm not sure you'd like either. Aidan is a mystery though. And he does love puzzles! He has one in his room. It's like... the size of the wall."

He realized her was rambling at this point. Giving a sheepish grin, he finished up with, "And you really should learn to smile more around others. It's lovely." He gave a cheesy grin. But, while his eyes were closed, he managed to run into a pole.

"OOF!" He landed on his butt. "NOT COOL! WHO PUTS A POLE IN MY WAY!"

"That would be a door. At it's a glass door at that. Too bad you walked between the two panels of glass." Bending down, Aidan patted the male's head. "You really need to wear your sunglasses when it's bright out. You're blindness must not be easy to cope with."

Aidan's eyes drifted over to the female beside Varick. "Hmmmm. You're Ri, correct?"

”not so much the yelling itself as the controlling…” she mumbled with a shrug, about to say she thought it was only first period when he continued onward. Shutting her mouth and shrugging she glanced up at the sky. Mystery huh? Then again how she defined mystery’s and how others did weren’t’ always clear…but a fellow puzzle lover… might be fun…

As he spoke of her smile she glanced to him, raising an eyebrow. With her pale lips she always thought her smile was rather…plain. Before she could make a wise crack along those lines, however, he managed to hit a pole…erm… well a door she saw when she glanced over… she was about to say something to correct him when she heard another voice.

She glanced towards the new man, Aiden. Varik was blind? Well that explained some things….though left other mysteries. As Aiden spoke to her she nodded, putting her free hand on her hip. ”And you are?” she asked curiously, reaching over to help Varick up absently. She was actually still in emotional, deep thoughts enough that for once that was all she had to say…
