"Oi vay." Varick picked up a pillow and threw it at his brother. "Sometimes you need to let me work out my own situations. I can't have you blurting out stuff all the time. Do you really want me to get in trouble?"
Ignoring his brother, Varick eyed the girl as she sniffed him. "I think I might smell like Lawrence...." He blushed. "He was... sleeping with me." The latter half was directed at Skyler. His brother was mad envious of Lawrence and Varick's relationship. So, being just a cruel as his younger brother, Varick rubbed in their 'affair.' |

Audrey turned on his heel facing the pretty Psychology teacher, "Me quit?! Never...that would be quite an outrage. I do not do this for the money" He said loftily "I do this be cause I love it... because I get a lab and all the equipment I want...and no one asks to many questions." His hands tucked behind his back. He looked her over for a moment and smiled. "And I would rather you not eliminate my dear little demon...It would cause me some great difficulties.." He added answering her question, "Besides its quite a useful little thing." |
Skye giggled again, the blush fading from her cheeks.
"Pssh, if I'd known you were gay, I wouldn'tve bothered landing on top of you." she teased, winking. She sat cross legged on the bed, facing Varick and watching him, curiously. |
"He's not gay! I wont allow him to be! He can't marry any guy that's not me!" said Skyler. He turned to his brother with puppy-dog eyes. "Niisan, I just want to help... since I depend on you so much and love you sooooo much! But... you never let me do anything to help... and I feel useless..."

Skye erupted into another fit of giggles. Tears fell down her face as she rolled on the bed and, with a bang, landed on the floor.

"I swear, you would be the most fascinating subject for Psychoanalysis" commented Yume. "If you continue with that demon, you will lose your soul and will, you know that don't you? And if the insane religions are right in any sense, its mor than likely in this."

Audrey took a deep breath and placed a hand on his stomach, "Miss My 'soul' had already been bartered with" He said rather pleasantly, "Sometimes the idea of hell is worth it" He said as he folded both hands over his cane.
He glanced towards his office, "I'm holding out that they'll go pretty easy on me since I went willingly." |
Melana pushed a strand of hair behind one ear. "Yea. I dont think that we are related." Well I hope that we arent. She thought. "My question was, how many people are in the Cain cabin? It's really quiet and I was wondering..." She looked down at her shoes.

Ri chuckled a little as he began to try and make sure she’d forgive him. “I can’t really stay mad at anyone long….” she said quietly,, a bit of a strange smile crossing her lips a moment. There was a little more truth in the statement then lay on the surface but she said nothing…she couldn’t…
As Aidan continued she tilted her head to the side, laughing softly and muttering to herself “Such a girl…” She then shrugged, speaking a little louder with her head tilted to the side. “I doubt I’ll be much use handsome but I’ll try if you like…Could be good…” she then flashed him a smile before looking up at the sky in thought. At least it’d distract her from Deka a little she thought with a suppressed sigh. |
"Oh, truly I cannot understand your reasoning at all", said Yume, shaking her head. "Although I can understand your quest for knowledge! I'm so fascinated with the arts of magic! Did it take much of an effort? For you to summon a demon? May I ask the why of it?"

At this question Audrey merely shook his head, "No..you may not ask why. It was a very personal reason and not one that I care to share with co-workers."
He folded his arms, cane still in one hand, it jutted into the hall as he stood there. "As for summoning them...and warlock worth his salt could pull that off if they so desired. It is an act not really practiced though as it is dangerous and difficult to control the outcome" |

"Demon summoning is Demon summoning...no two ways about it" He said twirling his cane in the hall a little.
"It has to do with the summoning glyphs...and the process. Nothing derived from Demon summoning has ever turned out well," Audrey's eyes roved over Yume's face for a moment, "I do hope this isn't some sneaky psycho analysis" He said with a laugh. |
"No, its more like information to fill my library a bit better" she responded, her red eyes shining with excitement. "Although everything you say and or do can be turned into data for psychoanalysis, you know. You are quite anal retentive, aren't you?"

He shrugged, "I dunno pretty miss...you tell me?" He said unfolding his arms slowly, "Lets hear this...The few years you've been working with me? What can you tell me about me that I don't know" He said smirking a bit.
"Oh thats right...very little..." He tapped his chest a little, "You'll get nothing from me~" he said in a sing song voice. It was a game he played with her, and she always seemed to play into it. A game of 'how much can you figure out this year' it was also a game he sort of played with some of the psychic students. |

Arlynn was a little startled by Hikaru's sudden confession, but smiled and nodded. ""I think I can manage that. Come on." She said, grabbing his hand. "I know someplace we can go for you to relax a little, but there's gonna be kind of a hike. It's out in the woods behind the Rome house." She warned playfully. Jeez, first day's not even halfway over and everyone seems to have coupled up. This is definitely going to be an interesting year. |

Hikaru nodded, holding her hand tightly. 'I think I can handle a hike... a little exercise will do me good.." He half-smiled at her. Boy, he really was depending on Arlynn a lot. He definitely had to make it up to her! Yume smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck, putting her lips close to his ear. She kept her body close to his, as both a seduction and as a threat. "Don't you worry, my dear" She said, her voice a seductive whisper. "Little by little I'll figure you out, wit each word a bit more. You are so loving of control, are you not? But don't worry, I'll take that control away, and see you break down in my feet, asking for my help. And then you'll be mine, and I'll be able to analyze you as much as I want to." Yume, a psychic vampire who played to be a witch, was softly absorbing his energy, the closer she got to him. |
Audrey watched her with a small almost perverse grin, "Oh you think you can break me so easily?" He asked as he reached up and patted her cheek with one hand, "But you've tried this before have you not?" He asked.
He knew what she was up to, and he knew his limit. He could feel that energy slowly slipping away, he almost enjoyed it. Audrey was very aware of his physical well being, thanks to his deal he pretty much had to be. Audrey shook his head and pulled away slowly, using his cane to poke her leg a little in an effort to get her to step back, "And your right...I do so love having control over a situation. But more than that....I love taking it away from others" He chuckled as he backed away. |
"You're just making me enjoy the chase, making it hard to get you"said Yume, sadistically, as she passed a finger over his lips. "That just turns me on more, and will make it all the more enjoyable when I finally claim you. After all, wizard or not, you are only mortal, and I live for eternity."
