((Lol what’s more ironic is Ami usually carries a guitar and playing the guitar/singing is what she does. She also has a couple songs published she wrote. ))

Ami bit her lip, nodding gently and giving her shoulder a soft squeeze before letting go. She still spoke in that quiet volume and gentle tone, though not so sure about this. “a..alright Questa. Just be careful hmm? And if sometime you want help … in a little more controlled circumstance, I play a little guitar…Just let me know” She said quietly, the words a hell of an understatement. Her mother always called her a musical prodigy…. And she wasn’t very far off.

Dane was actually pretty worried when Questa made the statement that she wanted to listen to the music playing. He knew that sound didn't physically hurt her, and that it was really all in her slightly confused head, but trying her best to get over it was something he hadn't seen her do in the time he had spent with her. "This is actually... really weird." He said to Ami, putting emphasis on the fact that this wasn't normal behavior. He chuckled a bit, "She seems totally zoned out too..." He trailed off, seeing how Questa's eyes were very much glued forward.

And unnoticeable twitch in her eye was triggered by the word 'guitar'. She kept her eyes forward though, just trying to calm herself down at the music. Perhaps she could learn to enjoy this? It wasn't anything like crowded streets or machine noise that really made her panic. It had a rhythmic beat, and if it wasn't as loud as it was at the moment could actually be really nice.

Seeing that Questa probably wasn't going to have a panic attack from the sound, Dane though it best to leave her alone for a second. "How long have you been playing guitar?" He asked Ami, sitting down on the ground due to slight fatigue of standing.

Melana was sitting next to Varick through the whole concert. She had the flower in her hands, and she was holding it gracefully. Melana did not know who to pick, she decided to go for Lawrence. She did not know what had happened between him and Ri, but it looked as if they were ignoring each other. She wanted them to reunite and be happy again.

Ami nodded in agreement but for a moment she simply watched Questa with concern. She began to bite her lip a little in thought, staying silent a moment longer. She was worried, to see such an unexpected actions…. But what could she do? Her magic could cure a broken body but not a broken mind or broken heart. She knew that last one personally….

Shaking off the thought she looked to Dane, half smiling at him. “Long as I can remember honestly… Mom says I was practically born with one in my hand… but the earliest picture with me having one is three so I probably was starting to try then.” She answered, slowly sitting next him. She figured she’d stay near Questa while she could, at least till she see‘s she‘s safe. ...

"Really? I never had much of a talent in music." He said, noticing her concern for Questa. "If you're wondering about Questa..." He started, looking over to check to see if Questa was listening. She seemed totally reoccupied with relaxing herself. "... This actually isn't normal. I guess you've noticed her pretty strange actions, they're from mental disorders that she's been having all her life." He sighed a bit, remembering what he read over before having his first meeting with her. "The doctors don't know exactly what it is, medication doesn't help..." He looked back up at Ami to give her a reassuring smile. "But it's a lot better than when I first met her."

Ami looked over and smiled, nodding a little bit. “Music… music is my life.” She said with a chuckle, the simple truth of the statement clear in her face. She said nothing else, until he finished speaking of questa, nodding and glancing to her. “I figured something like that… it reminds me of someone my mother knew…. She was always trying to help her….but there’s little she could do….” She trailed off, looking towards him. He was new so she didn’t know if he knew of magic yet…. Or if they were supposed to be open with it now….

Dane nodded. "Her parents thought it best she'd come here because of the medical staff, actually." He continued, smiling at that fact. Her parents didn't know how many dangers were at this school for a girl like her. "They got worried so they requested I come along." He finished. You're being really stupid Quessy... he thought, giving the child a disappointing look with a smile I wonder how much more your brain can take. "She's probably going to stay like this the rest of the performance... just so you know." He informed Ami. He didn't want her to have to wait around for Questa to move if she didn't want to stay. It was Dane's job to take care of her, so it's not like he could leave himself if he wanted to.

“The medical staff huh…. How much do they know about this school anywho?” She asked it casually, looking up at Questa. This strange girl… with her mental problems.. In this school filled with magic and problems and magical people with mental problems. It was a dangerous place… why would they send her here? She suppressed a sigh, trying to hide her concern.

She then glanced towards Dane and smiled gently, “It’s alright… I always like to be near the food table anyway.” With a chuckle and a wink she turned to the table. She got a few more bits and pieces, going back to sit on the floor with dane and Quessy, munching on her small plate of various food. She was always so hungry… perhaps it was due to feeding not only herself but the familiar tattooed on her ankle. She hoped it wouldn’t move… if Dane didn’t know about magic it’d be a hell of an introduction….

"They don't really know anything about the school." Questa suddenly said quietly, probably shocking the bother of them. "I just told them I really wanted to go to a school." She wasn't actually listening to what they were saying, but suddenly got a bit self-conscience about them both around her. She placed the headphones over her ears again, but not turning them on. This dimmed the music out a little but didn't erase it, it was also easy to tell they weren't on because the red 'on' light wasn't on. It was just a bit too noisy for Questa to actually take at the moment.

"You still awake there? I thought you had fallen asleep." Dane said to Questa jokingly. She was totally zoned out and now seemed to come back to quiet the sound a little bit with her headphones. He laughed a little, patting Questa on the head. "You're a brave kid." He remarked.

Ami nodded, saying a quiet “Oh.” yes…. They hadn’t a clue what they were sending their daughter into….until Questa made some more friends with the more magical people in the school… she’d have to stay close to her. She then smiled lightly, looking at questa. “Thanks for answering me, questa. And sorry if I'm asking too many questions Dane, always just been to curious for my own good.” She then nodded, looking back to Dane a moment in thought. His aura was… unusual, so maybe he knew more but she couldn’t be sure… she was not a particularly good reader . In fact… she kinda sucked at it.

"You're welcome." Whispered Questa, not really having much else to say.

"That's perfectly fine. This girl's pretty curious too when something don't scare her." He said, pointing to Questa. She's like a little sister... my little sister at least, He was thinking about saying, but stopped himself beforehand. Dane had a little sister around 80 years ago, she was plenty different from Questa though.
He noticed Ami staring at him with a weird look. "Something wrong?" He asked, a bit concerned.

Just remember questa, if you never need help come to me and I’ll do my best hmm?” Ami replied with a cheerful smile. She was glad she seemed to have snapped out of it. She then heard Dane and her attention turned back to him. For a moment she tilted her head to the side, realizing he’d caught her trying to read his aura. She never was very good at hiding anything… more a heart on her sleeve type of person. She let out a small laugh nervously and shook her head, “No no… just thinking” She said honestly.

"Alrighty then." Dane said, laughing. He was directly facing Ami at the time, giving a moment's glance at two normally hidden fangs on his teeth while he laughed. He didn't notice, and neither did it really matter at all since it was just a second.

"I knew it." Said Questa, looking over at Dane with her normal wide-eyed undirected stare. She turned back around again. She always had a hunch about it ever since the first day at the clinic. Her mother had brought her in while her dad was at work...


((Flashback time? Pretty smart little crazy girl here))

11-year-old-Questa walked into the room with her mother, every sound and site almost making her twitch or faint. "Questa, this is Dr. Jameson, he'll be working with you from now on. Okay?" Said her mother, smiling out of politeness. "I'll leave her in your hands. I'll be right back too, I just have to get papers from the front desk." She said, and left out the door. Inside the room was completely quiet, with nothing but blank stares between the two people. Finally, the young psychiatrist spoke. "Good morning Questa. I'm looking forward to working with you for awhile, why don't you sit down?" He asked, apparently trying to be polite in a quiet voice. "Are you a vampire?" The young Questa finally said, totally emotionless and serious while asking the question.

Ami smiled as he laughed, relaxing as he laughed. She caught some sight of the fang, having a thing for cute people’s smiles, but still felt unsure. Had she seen a fang or was she just looking for something? Some reason Dane could keep Questa safe in this school ? She wasn’t sure, so she doubted her conclusion simply trusting that he wasn’t human and leaving it at that. "You should laugh more, laughs are cute." She said with a small smile. She was flirting or anything, she was just being Ami. She loved when people laughed.. it always made her feel at ease and no matter who it was she loved the sound of it.

Glancing over as Questa spoke, however, she asked quietly “Knew what?” Perplexed. She knew Questa could be talking about nothing but she couldn’t help but be curious. Who knew… maybe she had seen something too… though… she wasn’t so sure how reassuring it was that Questa would be her confirmation. She didn’t always seem to look at things directly….

Questa looked weirdly at Ami for a second, then realized she had actually said that aloud. "Just the fact that Dr. Jameson is a liar." She said. Well, of course he lied. When questioned, who would honestly say 'oh yes, I am a vampire.' Unless they were part of some tween romance novel?

"Knew What?" Dane also asked confused before finally realizing it. he had to think about it a little, though. He then remembered that he never told her the truth about that, he had just instantly assumed she already knew he was a vampire. I guess I didn't really remember that... He though.

What’d he lie about?” she asked quietly in curiosity. Ami tilted her head to the side, still studying the other girl. She was careful to keep her voice a whisper but this time she was a little more interested in all honesty. Perhaps she didn’t have to worry… if Questa already had an inhuman protector. She was beginning to realize something but still not what…. Just that he wasn’t human.
