Facepalming due to Prince running into the door, Marco shook his head but nodded when Prince looked at him. "Come on, hun, the faster we get to my room and pick up the stuff, the faster we get to Death's Trap. What is it, anyway?" Marco was making his way towards Aradia House when he had a thought. "Do you think Aidan would care if you...slept over?"

"You can cook? All that? Wow, I'm really lucky! "said Hikari with a giggle. "I'm terrible at cooking, or with any housework... but if you have any doubts... I can see into your memories... and find the recipe? If not... well... it has to be better than mom's cooking, don't worry, I'm not too picky, hehe."
Hikari sat down on the table, twirling her bangs between her fingers, swinging her legs. She looked at him, giggling every time their eyes locked. "You really shouldn't hide your eyes from me, silly. You look really cute when you blush." With her face as red as his, she couldn't help but smile. He had so many layers, every second they spent together she liked him even more. "Alright, hopefully this time I can take a dip in the water" he said, smiling back at her, getting up with a jump. "It'll be our little secret, right? And come on, you don't need to transform, I can get you there flying, if you'll let me be your Superman." With a little wink, he added: "Gotta make the best of our free days, right?" |
"N-No..." She trailed off, trying to think a bit. Dane could probably easily make her another one, being that he had hand-constructed the original pair. It was actually a lot less noisy out here, besides Skyler, so she wasn't going to have anything like a panic attack. Questa looked longingly at the now beyond-basic-repair headphones on the floor.
"Dr. Jameson might be able to fix them, though." She finally said aloud. The only problem is that she had absolutely no idea where he was. |
Arlynn laughed. "Superman? I don't know if I'd go that far." She said, crossing her arms. "I am sure as hell not Lois Lane, though. Let's go, I want to get out of here- way too much drama."

"You sure know how to flirt, un restaurante y todo" laughed Alison, petting Jaden, her cheeks a little red from the compliment. "Alright, chispito, lets go eat. I hope the place is cheap, o te va a salir un ojo de la cara. There's a reason I'm so big, I eat a lot. Although you'll have to lead the way, I'm still kinda new here y estoy más perdia que un juey bizco todavía."
She began walking behind him, making seem even shorter. She couldn't help but having the tiniest smile on her face, not particularly used to compliments from anyone but the kids and girls she helped out, but it sure did feel nice. "Aw, don't be like that" he said, putting an arm over her shoulder, "I meant the flying part, if anything, I'm pretty sure you can hit a lot harder than I can, even with my training!" Walking along with her, he couldn't help but forget all the mess going on, all the drama, he even went a bit out of sync with Kari. His walking changed a bit, before a lot more calm, a smaller stride, now with a bit longer stride, a bit more bounce in his step. ---------- Trying to lower his voice, Skyler asked: "Which house is he? I can definitely take you there" His voice, although trying to keep it a whisper, was still quite the head-turning whisper. "After all, I used to visit here all the time, whenever I missed my brother or Lawrence, so I pretty much know everything in the whole school." |
As skyler spoke quieter she nodded gently, giving him a dazzling, warm and grateful smile. She knew it was harder for him and she appreciated it so much. Turning back to Questa she squeezed her shoulder gently with another soft smell. “Well find him and get them fixed. I hmm… if what I have gathered is correct he should be in the house of Cain…” She then turned back to skyler, her usual warm and gentle smile in place. It was as if she hadn’t said anything about her brother at all.

Questa was suddenly more confused then concerned about her lack-of-ear-protection. "Who's Cane?" She asked Ami, curious to why they had named a house after a walking stick. Well, 'Cane' probably wasn't the context, and Questa knew there was a name of a person that it spelled 'Cain', which was probably the case.

"Cain was Adam's first son, who killed his own brother, and so was cursed by God" explained Skyler, his face brightening "Legend says he was the first vampire, because he can't be killed by normal man, and he was cursed not to be able to eat what normal men eat, and have a horrible existence, along with his descendants! All the houses have a name kinda like that!" He spun around, now with his back to them, and turned to see them. "Follow me, I'll take you there, ne?"

Ami considered explaining but skyler soon explained instead and she nodded. Taking Questa’s hand in a comforting gesture she began to lead her forward so they could follow skyler. She was relaxing a little now, though she had noticed how Skyler had brightened so much talking about cAin… it was… interesting. Oh well.. He probably was just happy about being helpful, yeah that’s it, or so the naïve Ami thought. "Lead the way captain!"

Oh! I drew a picture of Quessy on binder paper w/ some of her favorite things. I can scan it in to show you guys. I didn't draw the original picture that I have in her profile though XD that i got off of photobucket)) Questa tilted her head to the side as she followed Ami and Skyler. "That's a slightly depressing story..." She whispered, "But Dr. Jameson's father wasn't named Cain. ... I don't actually know his name... or anything about Dr. Jameson's family... But he can't be a descendants of that." She continued. She was actually highly upset that she knew nothing about Dane's family history, being that she had been with him for so long. Well, she just recently confirmed that he was a vampire today, so that was probably the reason he never told her anything. |
"That's because not all that carry Cain's legacy were born from him, he didn't pass his legacy just downwards, but sideways too!" said Skyler, nodding to himself, quite proud as he lead the way around the school, towards one of the towers. "They are blood relatives, every vampire carries if only a bit of Cain's blood, and even a drop of that blood can pass that legacy, so he doesn't have to descend from Cain by genetics, wakarimashita ka? Like the descendants of Rome were descendants of Remus and Romulus, rulers of Rome and sons of Aries raised by wolves, or Wiccans learn of the teachings of Aradia, daughter of the sun and the moon, or descendants of Aleister Crowley, wizards because of their research of the dark arts, although King Solomon was the first to practice them, or... am I boring you? "

Ami, for once, let the others converse, kinda enjoying that Questa was talking so much. She simply held the other girls hand and walked besides them, looking up into the trees and sky… thinking how peaceful it seemed now even though earlier had been so… hectic. Could things really change so quickly?

"You're not." Replied Questa honestly, though his volume had increased a little bit. She hadn't ever learned about any of these things before, just the facts and stories young children knew. She didn't have much of a good education so she had to pick things up by herself.
But her lack of knowledge was a different story. It seemed to her that Skyler basically knew every trivial or important fact she'd ever need to know. She thought he was nice, but too happy and optimistic that she had made the suspicion that most of it was a lying mask. Still, she was completely absorbed in what he was talking about... besides the noise level that made her twitch a bit. "Are humans then just sons and daughters of Eve?" She questioned, hearing that bible story many different times. ((Things can change quickly XD)) |

"Yes, but then again so are all human-like creatures," explained Skyler. "All vampires, werewolves, wizards and Wicca are descendants of Eve, but since they have other abilities, whether science, blessing or curse, their "gift" as some call it, they'd rather distinguish themselves with later descendants with loads more abilities. Personally, I think any human has that potential, but most never reach it, they might need a little push." Of course, he was talking about himself. With so much magic around him, he knew he couldn't be your average human boy, nor did he want to be. He wanted to be special, but didn't want to change to do it. It was more like he needed to prove he already was. |

"Well I'm happy to be human." Questa said, it seeming that Skyler felt the opposite. "I don't think I'd want to handle anything else that I already do. Do you think Dr. Jameson will answer my questions if I ask him about his life?" She asked. She didn't know if Skyler would like the subject change or not, but it was something in the back of Questa's mind for awhile. She felt highly upset now that she realized she didn't know, and the fact that she didn't know made her curious and now even more learning about the history of other races. |
Melana accidentally bumped into the wrong group of people," Oh sorry." She said and then she walked away. She wasnt getting tired, but she decided to go to her room and read or do something else. She got to her bedroom and stared at the ceiling. Her dress was dirty and her shoes were getting her bed dirty, but she did not notice because she was just thinking. Melana then finally noticed and then changed into her PJs Then Melana went back to her bed to think some more. She did not know what she was thinking about, but she it was on her mind.

Skyler's face showed confusion, as he turned to Ami for a bit of help. In human relationships, as much as he wanted to make it seem otherwise, this little human was a mess. "Eto.... Um...." His eyes wondered about, his mind racing for possible solutions, but his mind was unable to place itself on someone else's shoes. |
