He grinned, following her. "Of course, lead the way!" Walking backwards in front of her, Hikaru looked into her eyes. "before I forget though, do you mind seeing me in boxers, or should I get some shorts? I don't think you're the type that's used to people walking around their house pretty much naked, are you?"

Ami finally woke up from her inner thoughts, giving questa one of her warm smiles and nodding gently. “I’m sure he will answer what he can… he cares a lot about you…. “ She said quietly, believing it was true. How could someone be dishonest with someone they liked? That seemed silly to her… then again if anybody knew how naïve she was to think that in the first place they’d probably call her silly. Seeing how skyler looked confused, however, she reached over and squeezed his shoulder gently, seeming to support him and say it was okay…

Questa nodded, and smiled a bit both at Ami's reassuring kindness and Skyler's totally confused expression. No matter how he seemed to be, he didn't know much about the basic person's mind. Then again, he hadn't even met Dane so couldn't make anything out of just thinking about it.
But through all this, another question just remained in Questa's mind. "Skyler, do you like your life?" It was an interesting question, and actually made sense, too. She didn't bother to asked Ami, because she could tell that Ami absolutely adored every life including her own. "I can't tell." |

Arlynn chuckled at Hikaru's comment. "Hikaru, I'm the youngest of four children. I have three tempermental older brothers who can't control their emotions very well. I am used to seeing guys- related or not- naked. Boxers won't make me blink, silly boy." She chuckled, passing by the Rome house and into the woods. It only took a few minutes to reach the cliff that they had been at yesterday."All right, let's go Superman."

"Of course I'm happy with my life, Questia-chan! Why wouldn't I be?" said Skyler, tilting his head, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Even with the knots in these last few days, even with the knots in his everyday life, Skyler had enjoyed every minute of it. If anything, these knots would help make him stronger, he knew that.
The confusion on his face grew... why would anyone care about his happiness, much less these girls he didn't even know properly? Yet here they were, with Ami's hand over his shoulder, and concern in their voices. Why? "Really? Even better, I'll be even more comfortable! It's good to know my family isn't the only pair of exhibitionists!" said Hikaru, shaking his head. "Although in mine, mom and Kari are the ones always parading naked, and a couple of my cousins and friends were pretty much naked too! Man, if you saw my apartment complex, you'd be surprised at the quantity of people living there! Easily over 150 in a single building!" Taking off his sunglasses, like Superman would his glasses. "Up we go!" The redhead picked her up like it was nothing, commenting: "You really are light aren't you?" with a smile, and to add to his little Superman theater, he bent his knees for impulse and jumped to the top of the cliff, with a bit of telekinetic help of course. He even landed smoothly. "So, how was that, Supergirl?" |
You don't seem like it, that's all." Questa stated, also tilting her head in the same direction. Actually, he probably misunderstood what she was trying to ask: She was mainly trying to come across the fact that she believed he was acting happy to improve his current life. There was an awkward silence after that... but being Questa, she didn't realize at all that the silence pause wasn't normal. She gave him a quick stare with dead-like eyes before turning her attention to whatever was around her and a fly buzzing above her head.

Skyler was unsure of what to say. Him... unhappy...? He hadn't even thought of the possibility. His usual smile had faded a bit from his face. He definitely didn't like Questia, the thought of her being nearby pissed him off, especially after making him even think of anything inhospitable to him. He was about to break the pause, to retort, when he noticed Questia's attention span, and he sighed. "The House of Cain's descendants is right there, see? We're only steps away!"

It still surprised Arlynn that Hikaru was able to lift her so easily. "Actually, my bones and muscles are denser than most humans... so I'm actually a lot heavier than I look. And nice landing, but Supergirl would've been able to fly herself up." She pointed out. She looked around. "Doesn't look like anyone else has found this place. Kind of surprising, since everyone's trying to get away right now."

Melana got up from her bed and brushed out her hair. "Darn it, I need hairbands." She looked in all of her drawers but could not find a single one. Melana, not in the best mood, did not want to go ask someone to borrow one, but she did anyways. Melana walked into the hallway and knocked on a door, she thought that it was a girl dorm, but then she read the room number. Melana had a surprised look on her face as she watched the door.

"Yeah, well, they're all escaping to their rooms or staying inside, out of sight, they don't think of relaxing a bit in the big outdoors" Hikaru muttered. "Besides, this place isn't exactly obvious to find, is it? Without you, I wouldn't have even thought about it, no wonder you had to fly to get here!" Setting her down on the floor delicately, he added "Besides, no matter if you are a bit heavier than you look, you're still very light. I don't even need telekinesis to lift you! Now, if you'll excuse me..."
Now, this sexy redhead began taking off his shirts and pants, revealing a body a lot more toned than your average psychic, his muscles very defined despite his light build. Staying on his boxers, just in case, Hikaru grinned at her. "Now, would you mind if I got a head start, or should I wait for you?" |

It was almost completely dark in Dane's room besides the lamp he was working under. He was dressed in PJ bottoms and goggles as he was building something. His room was messy; while his suitcase was unpacked cartons of Cup O' Noodles, wires, and assorted other things were thrown about. He sighed, getting up and walking out of his room. While opening the door, he accidentally bumped someone in the face with the door itself. "Oh sh-- Sorry!" He said almost automatically. He didn't recognize her from anywhere, but he definitely bumped her right on the head. |
“Thank you skyler… for helping us.” She said quietly as she came back to attention, her mind having wandered. Ami needed more sleep.. Or so she thought absently before hopping up back to attention. Taking questa’s hand she lead her towards the building, tilting her head to the side in thought a moment. “Meh… I’m sure they’ll understand if we just walk in… questa’s got an emergency after all…”
With that she flashed them both a smile and walked into the Cain dorm/home, smiling to herself. Blinking she would have lead the group in far enough towards the room to see Dane and would blink, not use to seeing a man shirtless as she lived alone with her mother…. She never even saw her father that way. Flushing faintly in surprise she half turned away, saying “Um… Questa’s ear phones broke…. She needs your help to fix them.” She stood then with her back to Dane and her hands in her pockets, pretending to be looking at a picture on the wall. She shouldn’t have just walked in like this…..
