Youko nodded, seeming to enjoy the thought of it being borrowed. A strange thing perhaps but she had her reasons. You see, it helped her feel like a normal teenage girl…something she’d never had the privilege to feel before. She gladly spoke with melena about decorations and dresses but it was clear… she thought Mizuki was the prettiest of all. She always thought Ki-chan was though so it was little surprise. There was a reason some mistakenly believed the twins were incestuous.
At Chika’s question she seemed confused. She’d heard something vaguely about brothers from her sister but hadn’t paid attention. “Brothers? Which brothers?” She asked quietly, watching her curiously. She didn’t’ seem to know about the particularly handsome brothers… then again considering their dates perhaps that was a good thing.


As dane spoke Mizuki shrugged, seeming embarrassed a little bit though the emotion was only in her eyes a few seconds. “well… it is always fun to dress up, at least for me. Though… it does not seem you enjoy it quite as much as I.” She said it quietly, with that quiet, sarcastic smile that made many take her words as insults. It was not really, just an observation. He looked rather attractive though… then again most people here did she had noticed. Even mo the annoyingly excitable was a little bit attractive…
As if on cue he spoke and she looked towards him. She raised an eyebrow, seeming almost puzzled. “You seem abit too excited about my face” She bluntly observed, still seeming puzzled. Inwardly she was a little worried, not liking to be observed so closely. It could be dangerous considering she still had to kill people now and then…and had the other day on school grounds. True it was someone sent to kill her but it still made trouble…

She saw Medusa’s expression and seemed to figure out the reason. Still, on her face was not an expression of anger or annoyance. In fact the expression seemed to be more along the lines of ‘Sweety I agree with you.’ And honestly she did… having someone follow her that wasn’t youko irritated her. At Mo’s words she seemed to chuckle, gathering the other had called her a nasty word. “Sometimes not nice words are best and suit a person.. Me for example. I’ve never heard a more accurate description for me then Icy Bitch.” She said with a cold smile that seemed to say she meant every word for once as she said the sentence.

Ri couldn’t help but blush a little further as he complimented her, deciding that maybe showing so much skin wasn’t so bad…She’d never really felt pretty, but as he spoke she did. She felt wonderful. Why such a simple comment reached her so she wasn’t sure. Then again, Ariella within her blood did and she approved. Finally her little girl was happy, once she was sure about the safe part perhaps it would finally be the spirits time to rest…

The girl in question giggled as Lawrence spoke, leaning on her law chan’s shoulder a bit. Perhaps she would have felt annoyed normally but from his statement she knew he was day dreaming about her… she just wondered just what he was daydreaming. Blushing faintly she shook her head, starting to say she’d just said hi. As he looked at her so deeply and blushed, however, she failed to get any words to come out.

Reaching up to press a strand of hair behind her ear she looked away, muttering “I.. I don’t look that good… not as good as you.” She whispered the words almost shyly for once, showing a completely different side of her then the confident Ri she usually was. She couldn’t help it.. He just made her feel so…vulnerable and happy. She never thought the two feelings could go together so well….

Chika smiled at Youko. "The brothers that protect the school. I dont really know all of their names, I just know that one is named Prince, and one is um, Deka, if I remember correctly." She was very proud of herself for remembering at least two names of the brothers. She turned to Melana because she would probably know about it.
Melana looked at Chika and Youko and said, "Well, Lawrence is the one with the blue hair, and he is with Ri. Deka is the one with the red hair, he is with Hikari, I think. Prince is the one who is next to the boy, Marco. Um, oh, Aiden is the one over there with the brown hair, and I dont know who he is with. Ace is with Questa, and that is about all that I know really." Melana then turned to Youko and Chika and said, "So, are you excited!?!"

((Skye you cannibal! You don't deserve Varick!))

"You just worried me, that's all," Mo said in an almost girly-childish way. "I thought you were just like Medu~sa-chan and were rea~lly upset all the time." Now of course, he didn't mean that offensively. Just stating the fact that Medusa never really did do anything close to enjoy things such as this.

He gave a slight curious look as if to say Did you hear what Medu~sa was thinking? or maybe it was just what he said pretty quietly. Mo had already figured out Mizuki's pretty keen sense of hearing. "But you on~ly say bad names to people who're not nice people." He added to Mizuki's speech. But he turned his attention to Dane after speaking, "You mean Quessle-chan?" He asked. He really didn't know Questa too well except for the one real conversation they had on his first day at school. She was very quiet and apparently hated any sort of loud noise, but that was all he knew about her that he could remember.

"I'm just never one for dances..." He said, looking strangely at Mo and noticed how occasionally he tended to look like a girl. He was a boy, right? "I can understand that, though. It's just that guys don't dress up like that..." He said. He looked over at Questa again, cocking his head to the side to see her dress clearly. "Quessy didn't have any dress-like clothing so I made that one from scratch." He said, turning his attention back over. "I wasn't sure if it was going to fit her alright at first, but what you do think?" He asked. Really, he did need some girl opinion on the dress itself. Whether or not Mo was a girl was not exactly something to worry about because he was directing the question to Mizuki.

But he did start talking to Mo afterwards. "Yeah, I've known her for a long time so it's like I'm her older brother." He replied.

((Okay, got a break from family tiems, so I get to post real quick!)

Arlynn sighed as she looked herself over in her mirror. When I go home for break, the first thing I'm going to do is kill my mother. Having no real girly fashion sense herself, and having procrastinated on packing, Arlynn had made the mistake of asking her mother, Danika, to grab a dress out of her closet for the back-to-school-dance. The mistake was asking Danika, who disliked the fact that Arlynn had grown up so independant and a bit of a tomboy (thanks to being raised with four brothers), to pick out a DRESS, of all things.

And only now did she realize the consequences of her actions, seeing said dress. With a sigh, as this was the only thing she really had to wear (she would pick out different dresses herself when she went home, for whatever else she may need them for), she made her way to the gym, trying not to trip in her high heels.

The year was halfway over and things were just the same as always. Hectic. The murders had pecked to an all time high. The school was down to its last few students, teachers, and even brothers.

With Lawrence in a deathly comatose state for about three months now, Juri figured it might be time to call it quits. All the school's money had been going into his survival, but even Doctor Fisk knew the changes of Lawrence awakening and even remembering who he was was slim to nothing.

Deka had taken up the position of a full-time guardian and ended up ending things with Kari. He said, "I cannot protect this school if my heart calls out to you." It was a bitter end to their relationship, which caused Deka to sink into an even more heartless man.

The handsome Prince was considering studying abroad with a pack of elite werewolves, but he was too afraid to leave behind his family. To Prince, family meant everything. But seeing as Deka never spoke, Lawrence was practically dead, and he was never really friends with the other two, it appeared he would be setting sail for England by the end of the month.

The youngest of the brothers ended up taking over as Headmaster. With the goddess called back to the ruling realms, Ace knew he was the only one skilled enough for the job. Aidan ended up stepping up and becoming the secretary, but with both the brothers in these high-up positions as such young ages the school has been under constant abuse from the local newspapers. The gates are spray-painted and run down looking. Trash clutters the large wall that keeps the humans out. Police tape warns everyone to stay clear of the demonic academy.

Jaden ended up leaving because people grew suspicious of his age. He was too young looking and he never seemed to age. Forced to flee, he left his students with all the essential reads and findings he could. He even gave them his number and set up a video conference room for them should they need to physically see him for questions.

His cold blue eyes were fixated on a far off human that was harassing the gates again. Protesters and pitch forks filled the skies. Screaming and shouting voices taunted to bring the school to its much needed end. Stepping toward them, he watched as they recoiled backwards. His very presence sent a shiver down their spineless backs.

Taking another step closer to return the ill language he was being bombarded with, another male steps out and stops him dead in his tracks. His head was hung low, but he had a spark of hope for this place.

Varick tugged on the red head's hand and led him back toward the building. "You must keep your cool Deka. Exposing us will only hurt us more. Please, please just endure this. Do it for Lawren...." He fell silent as tears swelled up in his eyes. Lawrence.

Today marked the beginning of the third month Lawrence would be in his coma. It was brought on by a sudden heroic act to save Ri. Gun fire opened up on the school as a mad man by the name of Lextor breached the school grounds. Taking it upon himself, Lawrence thwarted the assassin by using his dormant strength to suppress the evil doer. But, by doing this, Lawrence used too much of his energy and completely drained himself of all his vampire strength.

Falling down, he collapsed without a heartbeat. Doctor Fisk was able to bring him back to life with a high dosage of voltage, but ended up having to put Lawrence into a coma to prevent his body from doing any damage. His body was actually attacking itself. Growing ill from using up too much of his own magical powers, Lawrence still lies pale and sick in his bed as he had been doing since that mid October.

Varick's eyes fell to the snow covered ground. It crunched lightly under his boots as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other. His stride was shorter than usual as the snowfall this mid January was ridiculously high. About seven inches laid there on the earth. To make it worse, it was slick and hard. One wrong step and you'd most likely end up with Juri at your side mending you.

For a brief moment, Varick contemplated falling and knocking himself into the unconscious world that Lawrence was currently stuck in. But he knew better than to worry. As of late, not counting the murders, Lawrence was the only one in Juri's care. Everyone else was healthy as could be. Healthy and for the most part, happy. Well, maybe not happy, but content.

His eyes dipped down to the earth below him once again. Focusing on a white clump of ice, he recalled a happy time in his life - the night of the dance. Everyone there looked lovely. Everyone's minds were full of happiness and romance. Ri and Lawrence were crowned the hottest couple. Prince and Marco were crowned the princes' of the night. Arlynn was crowned princess of the night.

Deka was given the 'most likely to walk around wearing just a pot' and Kari nearly blushed herself to death. Last time she checked, no one knew of that! But Ace did a little mind reading and decided to make the night more humorous. Hikari was also given an award - 'most likely to date a pot wearing man.' Ami received a nice long kiss from Aidan. They weren't seen the rest of the night, so to spite the 'lovers,' Ace gave them 'most likely to bail on a dance for some sexy time.'

The red head Hikaru was forced to dance with Deka as it was a request that Varick put in. He knew the two didn't really see eye to eye, so he prayed that getting them to dance would help befriend the two. Let's just say, it didn't end too well. Hikaru was 'raped' of his pants and Deka discovered that snorting fruit punch is painful.

Psychic Van ended up taking photographs from the night and would later use them the following week to assist with Prince's blackmail scheme. Van later decided he couldn't stomach the thought of doing such things to people. He then decided to make a slide-show of the dance and it played all the way up until Lawrence's hospitalization.

Melana danced the night away with her friends, but ended up having to dance with Lawrence as it was a dare he was given. A double dog dare. After their slow dance song was over, she more or less left the event due she was embarrassed to be that close to the vampire she once held feelings for. The devious Dane and the spunky Chika ended up leaving with Melana because they sort of felt bad for her. Well, not Dane, he just wanted an excuse to leave. Chika wanted out because she was helping Prince be a match matcher and ended up pushing Lawrence and Deka into one another for a kiss. It was purely accidental, but it caused quiet an uproar.

Varick placed his hand over his heart. Skye. He remembered their dance. It was something he would always remember. It was just perfect to him. She swept lightly across the floor, he looked dashing in his suit. The mood was perfect. The evening was right. Too bad the kiss never happened. But he didn't mind too much, it was fun nonetheless.

He also recalled how Mizuki was a bit bitter that night. She was supposed to help assist him with the passing out of flowers, but instead she decided it would be far more enjoyable to stuff a flower down his throat. While he was gagging to get it up, she and her sister managed to adorn him with a ring of flowers as well as a large pink ribbon. Embarrassing. Yes. Memorable. Yes. Regretful. No. Even if it mad Varick redder than red, he wouldn't take it back for a second. Skye found the whole thing too enjoyable. Seeing her smile was enough for him not to want to turn back time.

Now while the shenanigans with Varick being flowered were going down, Mo was busy trying to help Ace write awards. Between the two of them they learned how easy it is to become Edward Cullen. Marco went running past them, slipped on some confetti and ended up kicking up the box of glitter the two males were using to 'spiff' up the awards. It's a good thing Lawrence wasn't there, Varick thought with a nod. Just what they all would have needed. A real Edward Cullen.

Recalling how Ace was on his butt, he then watched as the night replayed in his mind when Questa went up to him. Offering him a hand, Ace scooted across the floor on his behind in his failed attempt to flee from her. Now being that his butt was on the floor and Questa was walking, well, it just made things all the most hilarious.

Questa would walk up to him, he'd move backward. She's step forward, he'd drag his behind back. Finally pinning him against a wall, Questa dominated the male completely accidentally! The devious Deka had gotten his revenge by tripping Questa and helping her land directly in front of Ace's crotch. You can just assume how this caused the room to go silent. But good ol' Questa's innocent brought back the life of the party when her eyes began to swell with tears. Ace, being the concerned one (or at least he was for her), immediately took her away to help patch up her bloody leg. The two of them weren't seen again for the rest of the night.

During the lovely romancing that seemed to be bursting at the gut, Skyler was busy peeping up skirts from time to time. He and Jaden made a bet that all the females would be in fancy undies or wearing nothing at all. Jaden did win a few bets, but for the most part Skyler won with his 'I don't think they are that desperate' thought.

Youko was actually the one that caught Skyler spying and practically kicked the little guy to Timbuktu! Thankfully, she felt bad and spent a few hours with him patching up the cuts. The two of them then decided to watch a movie. A rather boring one too, which caused them to pass out together.

The headmaster of the school was at the dance from time to time. She made a few speeches, but then she disappeared with Jaden. It's safe to assume the two of them shared that titled called 'friends with benefits.' Audrey was also at the dance for a short time. But he too disappeared with Jaden. One can only hope that the two of them weren't planning a joint pop quiz! Jack was no where to be fond. Rumor is he had to return home with Winny as something urgent came up.

To Alison's shock, Jaden did ask her to dance the tango. At this time all the students wanted and clapped in awe as Jaden showed off to his Spanish speaking friend that he did know some Spanish moves. (Wink, wink) Chelsea and Vivian, being kind enough to let the brothers dance, ended up guarding the academy that evening. After spending the entire evening, the two found out they had nothing in common and that they hated each other. Okay, so Vivian was a sore loser because she lost in a game of chess to Chelsea. Yume later joined them and helped Vivian win her money and pride back.

While everyone else was having fun, Juri and Fisk were busy making sure everyone was hydrated and looking their best. Juri look a few kids to get water and Fisk made sure he offered some of the students protection - mainly the seniors that had been dating for the past four years.

It was the crunch of snow beneath him that brought Varick back to his senses. "Well, I better get going. Inner-class games start in a few. I'm on the snow ball team. Wish me luck!" Skipping off, he hit a patch of ice, slid a bit, but then made his way toward the track where the games were taking place.
