Quinn began to lead the way toward the diner, watching as Kilyo pulled Katie away for a moment. "This way, guys." He has walked this trek many times, loving how nice the sun felt against his skin. Most of the time, he was cold, blood not circulated like it supposed to. He tried on a smile, but it didn't quite fit, so his face fell back into the emotionless blank face it often did. He walked, hands in his back pockets, hood covering his head. His dark shoes were well worn in and he watched them as he walked, leading the group of students to the diner he often ate at.

{Sorry for being MIA lately.. work has a way of invading my life...}

Katie caught up to Quinn,looking at his facial expression.She didn't say anything because he knew he wasn't okay so she just walked beside him,brushing her black bangs out of her eyes again.She pulled out her phone,checking the time and her messages.

Quinn sighed inwardly. He was starting to regret not taking a hit when Katie offered to distract everyone else. He needed one badly and he was sure everyone could tell. It was annoying how used to the drugs that his body was that the hunk of flesh could tell him when and how he needed a hit. "I'm sorry for being a little dreary right now.." He had lowered his voice, not wanting to draw attention from much of anyone else.

((umm....Eve is following and taking in everything))

She looked up."It's fine."She said and kissed his cheek,now walking closer to him since they were talking.She looked down at her black and white checkered pattern shoes that were made of of knitted fabric that was flimsy string.She had a hole in the side of her shoe and a small heart was implanted on the corner of both.They were worn down and old but they were very comfortable since they had fur on the inside.

Kilyo followed just behind and to the side of Katie and Quinn. Her hands were in her pockets as they went. She took in the route to the diner, wanting to remember her way around. Not that it matters a whole. Probably won't be around long enough to really care. She snorted to herself and then just continued watching others and their surroundings.

Glancing back at Kilyo as she looked around, he gave her a slight smile. he wanted everyone to feel comfortable, even though he wasn't. He was never fully comfortable around people. It was slightly disappointing that his body was reacting in this way, but he couldn't help it. He took out a cigarette and lit it, hand covering the flame from the wind as he took a drag. since they were walking, he figured that he didn't have to be as careful around other people.

Drake sighed,walking along and holding Ceirras hand."We almost there Kostello?"He asked,getting impatient..Drake had little patience and wasn't that smart.
Katie looked back and rolled her eyes at him.

Sighing, Quinn looked back at Drake. The asshole was really pissing him off right now, even with that little comment. He wanted to walk back there and punch the jerk in his face. But he knew he couldn't, so he simply replied, "Soon.. be more patient."

Katie looked down at her phone when it started to ring bethovens 5th symphony.The eerie music had made her jump before she answered it."Hello?"Her expression turned quickly to a frown.'Why is he calling me? I'm supposed to be in school..'She thought as he spoke."I understand.."She mumbled.
The last part he said loud enough for everyone to hear her father on the phone."Just wait till you get home."She grimaced and hung up,puting on a small fake smile and looking at Quinn and Kilyo,acting like everything was fine.

"Is everything okay, Katie?" Eve asked her, it was clear that she was concerned, and when she spoke it caused her to draw attention to her self. She smiled weakly at eveyone, soon she was looking around and actting as if she hadn't said anything.

Katie nodded,giving Eve a convincing smile."I'm fine."She said and stuck her phone back into her pocket.Letting her bangs fall over her eyes to block her eyes and part of her facial expression.

((carson and cierra wont say anything until they get there.))

Eve just nodded her head and dropped back until she was behind everyone, she looked over everybody and blushed a little when she looked at Carson. There wasn't much that she could say but she wantted to say something more at least say something to the others. She sighed heavily and switched her bag from one shoulder to the other.

Kilyo frowned. She wanted to say something to Katie but Eve spoke first. Katie said she was fine and Kilyo mumbled, "Liar," and then pretended she didn't. The sun was making her hot so she pulled back her hair to one side and took off her jean jacket. Doing this make the tattoo she had starting at the nape of her neck show brieftly before she made her hair fall back to cover it. She swung her jacket over her shoulder.

Quinn looked at Katie, a worried expression crossing his face. "Hey Katie.." he whispered, "do you need a place to stay sometimes? Because the apartment I live in is big enough for one other person to stay..?" He wanted to give her an outlet from her father, who was seeming to be the root of all evil right about now. He was a sinister man and Quinn didn't want him to hurt Katie in any way. she deserved much better than that. After all, Katie was an amazingly beautiful, smart, talented girl. He looked at her, gently taking her hand in his. He wanted to be comforting, letting her know that he was there, but he didn't want to seem too concerning and scare her off.

Tabitha hung back with Eve. She also kept quiet and just listened to the others talking. When she heard Katie's father on the phone she looked worriedly at Katie. After Katie said she was fine, she kept her mouth shut. The last time she had a friend who had problems at home and she had tried to help them they just turned on her. Tell her that she needed to learn how to treat people. Since then she hadn't really tried getting close to anyone.

{Ugh. DDO and work take up my life so much... I'll be on this weekend, but tonight, I'm beat from work and need some serious sleep...}

-Rocker looked around boredly for something ti entertain himself with while he sat at home deciding not to go to school at all today-"Gawd I'm bored..." -He gets dressed but doesn't include his favorite article of clothing, his trench coat today because the weather has been hot the past couple of days. He didn't feel like suffocating and dieing such a pitiful death for the sake of being the "all in black and trench-coat guy" people knew him to be. His parents were home but didn't really give to spits about him or his education being drop-outs themselves. The only thing that distinguished them from him is he chose not to impair his senses with legal hallucinogenics-"I'm out of here for a little while, try not to overdoes you dream junkies." He honestly didn't know how the bills kept getting paid but figured it was because of good ol' grampa's fortune they inherited a couple years ago. He cranked up "onyx" and road off-

Quinn had successfully lead the group to the diner and turned to smile at everyone, though it wasn't all that convincing. He worried for Katie and he felt like shit. His arm was held out like Vannah White and he motioned to the shabby little diner. It didn't look like much, but the food was amazing and very cheaply priced. "Voila."

Kilyo smiled at Quinn and went inside, going to a booth that would hold all of them. She set her jacket down on the edge of the back of the seat and smiled at everyone else.

Letting all the others sit down before he did, a waitress approached the group with a large stack of thin menus. She quickly kissed Quinn on the cheek. "How are ya darlin'? These ya friends?" She was a nice lady, very tall, darker in skin tone. She had her hair up in a bun at the top of her head, which added to her height, but she had the smile of a loving and caring mother.

"Yeah, Daisy, these kids are from school." He smiled, and sighed. "I'll have the usual, please and thank you, and everyone else will need a moment."

The boisterous lady smiled and nodded, patting Quinn on the shoulder before going back into the kitchen. Music from the 50s played in the diner and the theme was more on the retro side. It was certainly Quinn's favorite place.

Kilyo smiled at Daisy when she gave them the menus and she helped pass them around. She opened it up and looked at it. "Hey Quinn, what are you getting?"

As Ki asked him what he was getting, he sat down at the end of the table, crossing his ankles in a relaxed fashion. He would soon need to sneak to the bathroom for a quick hit to get him through this meal. "Oh, I always get Dasiy's homemade lemonade, it's the greatest. And this portobello and spinach salad. It's super yummy." He smiled. Quinn had always liked eating healthy, though he didn't eat meat. Meat didn't do it for him at all.

Eve sat down in the corner, it let her have a view of everything that was going on in the room and of her new friends. She looked at Carson again, wondering what was so different about him then the other guys that she met. She took the menu and looked at it, listening to what Quinn said he was going to eat. It sounded like it was going to be good, she always liked trying new things even if she didn't like some of the things that she was going to eat. "I wouldn't mind trying that also." she said softly to the group, she was still trying to hide, she wasn't used to such large groups and this was a very large group to her, it was making her nerves, very nerves.
