Kilyo was a little taken aback by the sudden hug but she hugged Katie back. It felt weird to actually show some kind of connection with someone her age. She had gotten so used to ignoring others that this was odd for her. She just smiled and headed back to the school. She grabbed her book bag out of the bag on her bike and then headed inside, not caring if she gets detention or not. She would just skip it anyway, Katie and work being more important to her. Crap, I'm becoming attached. She sighed. Instead of going to the class she was supposed to, she just went into the auto shop and spent what was left of school there, helping the teacher if he asked and others as well.

Quinn was trying to figure out a way to get out and take his hit when Kilyo excused herself. Watching as Katie hugged the other girl, Quinn figured that would be a good time to get out of here. The food had been delivered and he got his meal wrapped. He would eat it tonight with his mother. "I should be getting out of here too.." he mumbled, looking down and rubbing his arms. It felt as the the skin was crawling inside of itself.
He slowly slid out of the booth, biting his lip. Quinn was anxious already, which he knew was a bad sign. He hated the withdrawals, but he knew they would not simply stop. He needed to make them stop as best of he could, the only way being to take another hit of his most prized possession. |
Katie frowned hearing Quinn was going to leave to but she guessed she would just hang out with Drake and his girlfriend since she couldn't go home untill she was supposed to be home after school."Okay..well text me later I guess."She said and gave Quinn a hug

Tabitha walked out with the others. "Thank you for inviting me, but I'm going to have to pass on the movie. I have practice after school. Maybe I can join you some other time." She couldn't go with them anyway she had used the last of her money to get lunch. Giving a smile and a wavy she headed off in the direction of the school.
Duncan figured he wasn't invited since he really wasn't a part of the group.So he went to his car and drove back to school. He decide to grace his afternoon classes with his presence. Not that he planned to pay attention or do any of the work. |
((Wait...Cierra asked Drake what was wrong with him, Katie!!))
Carson smiled and waved at the others that had decided to leave. "Have fun. I'll see you guys tomorrow." he said with a small smile. He looked at the few her were left that were going. "You guys ready?" he asked. |
Katie looked at the remaining people and stepped back a little.Ceirra and Drake were going..together.And almost anyone could tell Eve liked Carson..which left her..the fifth wheel."Um..I don't know if I should go."She said,giving them all a small smile.She would now want more then anything to beg Quinn to stay,but she wouldn't
Drake looked at Ceirra."I'm fine."He said and kissed her on the lips lightly and gave her a small grin. |
Carson looked at Katie and smiled a little. "Oh, come on. It's better than school. We won't leave you out. Promise." he said.
------------------ Cierra sighed mentally and looked up at him. "Please don't lie to me..." she said. Her voice was becoming more quiet. She'd rather have the conversation be private. |
Katie shook her head a little."Nah..I like leaning my head on handsome guys shoulders and last I checked I've never wanted to be a fifth wheel."She said with a small grin."I'll just go to the store or something.."

Carson laughed and shook his head. "Are you suuuure?" he asked.
--------------- Cierra glanced at Katie and then back at Drake. "It's not that I don't believe you, but Katie said you felt guilty and you don't seem fine." she said, still keeping her voice down. |
Drake sighed and took Ceirras arm,taking her away from the others."Fine.I feel guilty because I know that when Katie gets home her father is going to hit her as hard as he can and try to kill her..but I do nothing.I never do anything!"He said angrily and dropped her arm,he hadn't hurt her or anything he just let go and went back to the group.
Katie laughed."I wouldn't want to intrude on your date."She said,looking over at Eve. |
Eve blushed brightly at what Katie had said, she slowly started to back up to the door as best as she could. "I am um...goin back to my car to um......put my bag away." she said to them, it was more to escape the embarrassment, she smiled at them and stepped out of the restruant. She sighed in relief when she was out side, she was so embarrassed, she made her way towards her car that was in the school parking lot.

Cierra quickly followed after without a choice. As she listened, she stared at the ground in silence. When he left, she stood statue-like for a while, then slowly walked back toward the group, which was now standing in a slight circle. She looked up at Drake and quietly whispered. "Katie's my friend and I don't want her hurt. If you want to skip out on our date and make sure she's okay...you can...I won't mind." she lied.

Drake shook his head."I'm not brave enough to talk to her dad.I'll just go with you..like I wanted too."
He said with a small smile. Katie grinned and slapped his arm,not hard at all but as a joke."I didn't send her away!Shes putting her bag away.."She said with a smile."I'm just gonna go..have fun okay?"She said with a small smile.She didn't want to go home but she would have too. |
Cierra smiled and slowly started walking again. "Okay...well...we're going to a movie now...instead of another movie tonight, how about we just go to dinner?" she asked.

Katie smiled and gave him a hug."By the way,your going to find someone a lot better then me because your a great guy."She said and kissed his cheek in a friendly way since she liked Quinn a lot and this was just her way of apologizing."Bye."She whispered and turned,letting go of him and starting to walk away.Drake gave her a quick hug."Be safe."He mumbled into her ear and let go so she could walk.
He looked over at Ceirra."Sounds good..where do you want to go?" Katie stopped and waited forQuinn so she could say goodbye to him. |
Cierra thought for a little bit and looked back at the others who were pretty far away by now. "Uh, can we go to Applebee's?" she asked quietly. She walked slower to give the others a chance to catch up.

"Sure."He chuckled."I just got this weeks pay."

After the others caught up, she walked to the school parking lot where she saw Eve. She smiled and waved at her gently and looked up at Drake. "Okay. You pay and I'll pay for the tip?" she asked generously.

Kilyo took out her phone during a break and sent the following txt:
To: Katie Hey ya, just checking to see if your okay. And if you know if Quinn's okay. Just checkin up on ya (: |
He nodded."Sounds good."He said and took her hand.
Katie flipped out her phone and answered: To Kilyo: I'm Fine.I don't know about Quinn though,I'm waiting on him so I can say goodbye. (: |
Kilyo smiled a little when she read the txt. She was leaning against the wall just outside the autoshop. What she wouldn't give to have a cigarette. She sighs.
To Katie: Of course your waiting XD He's probly around....taking a hit...sorry. |
