"It would be my sixth or seventh." he said as he smiled at her.

Jade smiled a little and nodded. "Sounds like fun. We can do that this weekend. Anything you want to do tonight?" she asked.

Fay smiled at her, "how about if we go see a movie." he said happly.

Jade nodded and smiled. "Sounds like a plan..."

Fay smiled, "what do you want to do till then?"

Jade smiled and looked at his smooth hair. "How about we just sit here for now?"

Clara swallowed hard and walked back home. She was soaking wet all because her stupid neighbors wouldn't take her advise and just murder those snot-nosed brats they called grandchildren. She walked in her house and locked the door behind her. She didn't have to worry about her parents complaining since she didn't even live with them anymore. She went straight to the kitchen and made herself a peanut butter sandwich and contemplated actually going to school tomorrow. She knew that she had missed her first day, which was supposed to be today, but she had to work, so she didn't go. She knew that she wouldn't be able to get by mooching off of her elderly grandmother forever, but she hoped that her piano playing career would blossom and she would become a star. But that day wasn't here yet, so she worked. She threw away the empty jar that once held peanut butter and changed into her night clothes. She went to her room and turned on the TV, flipping through channels like no tomorrow. Before soon, she had fallen fast asleep.

Fay smiled at her, "sounds like a plan." he said and sunk down into the tub.

Jade sat for a few minutes, but she quickly got bored and jumped into the pool. She grabbed their beach volleyball and started setting it to herself.

Fay walked her for a little while and then headed over and took the ball from her and smiled, "mind if I play with you."

Clara woke up and found that she had only slept for a few minutes. So much for a good night's sleep. She rolled her eyes, then scrambled off of her bed, then got dressed in a lose band shirt and a tight pair of jeans. She went to the door and shrugged on a jacket, then stepped out of the door and onto the street. She knew there were a few parks around where she could waste some time until sunrise.

Jade smiled and laughed a little as she grabbed the ball back. "I might just have to beat you!" she said. She gently tossed the ball to him and smiled.

Fay smiled at her, "okay." he said and just barely managed to hit hte ball back to her.

Clara pulled her hood up and looked at her watch. Her watch was broken since it was stuck at noon. She sighed and started walking back home. It wasn't worth it if she didn't know the time anyways. She passed a small park on her way and smiled. Just for a few minutes... She thought, climbing the small hill that led to a set of abandoned swings. She sat down and lightly began pushing herself higher and higher.

Jade quickly jumped up, her feet barely coming off the bottom of the pool, and hit the ball with her palm right back at him, about ten times harder than he had hit it to her. She smiled a little bit and walked over to him. "I'm sooooo sorry I didn't mean to his you that hard, are you okay?"

The ball hand hit him in the face and he shook his head slightly, "yeah fine, not hte first time I have been hit in the face." he said as he looked at her.

Jade laughed a little as she looked at the bruise on his face. "I honestly didn't mean to hit you that hard, I'm so sorry."

Fay smiled at her, "it is okay, it doesn't hurt that bad." he said as he looked at her.

Jade smiled and gently touched the bruise. "For sure? You're not lying? You're okay?"

Fay liked the feel of her hand on his face and found himself putting his hand ontop of hers, "yeah, completely sure since your here."

Jade jumped a little and looked at his hand on top of hers. She didn't know whether to let it be or retract it so she just sat there with no emotion or reaction.

Fay smiled at her and then let her hand fall from his and picked up the ball, "how about if we try this again."

Jade smiled nervously. "Sure..."

Fay smiled and got back into position and hit the ball over to her.

Jade lightly hit the ball back to him in fear of hitting him again. She smiled as she successfully didn't hit him.
