Kasami decided to ask herself, because she was curious too. "Sooooo, Cross. What brings you here?" She said, trying to be casual about it.

Cross blinked before shifting the bag hanging off of one shoulder slightly, "I...got a letter from the headmistress of the school asking me to come." he answered. His words were tinged with an Italian accent, "She said she was experimenting." he didn't want to elaborate, the headmistress had asked him personally to keep as much of her "experiment" a secret as possible. Besides the fact that he wasn't a girl...maybe coming into the school without a uniform really didn't help. He tugged lightly on his upright collar, a bit uncomfortable with all the attention he was getting. Some of those girls in the crowd looked ready to pounce on him like starving lions to meat...or worse, kids to candy.

"Experimenting? What could she be experimenting?" Kasami asked, tilting her head curiously.

Cross shrugged, "I'm not sure, why don't you go ask her? She seems like a nice person.." He glanced discreetly at the clock, just how much time was left before school started anyway? There was only so much crowding and ogling he could take... As if to answer his question, the bell suddenly rang. Cross silently thanked whatever god was listening, "I'm sorry, but I still need to go get my schedule...if you would please excuse me?"

"Sure..." Kasami said as she watched him leave. Then she remembered that she needed to get to class too.. "Come on Yuna, let's go" And they headed to class. When first period was over, Kasami went to get some books from her locker before going to second period. She couldn't stop thinking Cross all day. What kind of experiment was the principal doing? Why would she let a boy in the school, after giving all those fierce speeches on what she'd do to anyone who snuck a boy on campus? None of it made any sense. Surprisingly, when she got to her next class (Advanced English) Cross was there, sitting all the way in the back of the room. Kasami wanted to go over there and ask more questions, but she was too nervous =, so she just sat at a fair distance from him. Far enough to not be noticed but close enough hear anything he said. She'd get Yuna to ask him later. Besides, there was a whole flock of girls around him, how would she be able to question him?

After escaping the horrors, I mean crowdedness, of the hallways Cross spent the entire first period in the headmistress' office. Just talking with the woman. He discussed the students and how he felt just walking around. Then he explained what he thought of the campus. It was a very beautiful campus actually, very well kept and orderly. The headmistress offered him tea and he thanked her nicely, sipping at it occasionally throughout the conversation. When the bell rang signaling second period, Cross stood up and retrieved his bag from the floor, slinging it back over one shoulder, "I'll report back during my lunch period as promised headmistress." He promised before stepping out the door and running down the still empty hallways in a half-desperate attempt to reach a classroom before the girls started to fill the hallways.

The first class he attended that day was Advanced English. Even though this was one of his favorite subjects he decided to take a seat in the back, hoping that that way the girls wouldn't notice him because, seriously? Who looks in the back of the classroom anyway? His hopes were crushed almost instantly when students started filing in and a large group suddenly formed around him. He smiled softly at all the girls who were questioning him and tried to tell them that they should sit down. They didn't seem to hear him at all. All they seemed to be interested in was whether or not he was single, "Don't you think that that question's a bit personal ladies?" he asked, his Italian-tinged Japanese sending them off into more squeals. Cross sweatdropped and sighed, reaching up a hand to fix his glasses before tugging on his collar again, wishing he could just disappear behind it. If it was this bad during classes, imagine what would happen when classes were over. And his friends...they certainly won't be leaving him alone anytime soon.

When the teacher finally walked into the classroom Cross heaved a sigh of relief as the girls quickly scurried to their seats. Finally, some space to breathe. He pulled a fresh notebook from his bag along with a mechanical pencil and jotted down the date across his page before twirling his pencil around his fingers and listening in on what the teacher was saying, taking notes every so often. Suddenly she said something that made the pencil he had been holding clatter to the table, 'Oh god...'

"Please pair up with a partner and interview your partner following the questions written on the board."

Chaos was instant.

Yuna came running into class...She was soo late...Thankfully the teacher didnt notice she came in...Yuna instantly went over to kasami..."woah what's going on here" she asked kasami looking at the flock of choas in the class...."Did i miss something?" she asked while putting her stuff down and taking her seat.

"Uhmm...uhh..I..." Cross couldn't even speak as people started shouting,

"he's my partner!"

"No! Mine!"

"back off!"

"I'm the obvious choice!"

He could feel a headache forming behind his temple. Really, if he didn't know better he would say the teacher was enjoying this/doing this on purpose. He then chanced a look at the teacher who was at the front of the room clutching her stomach and laughing...wait a sec...Oh God! She was doing this on purpose. A groan slipped from Cross' lips, just what he needed, a sadistic teacher. As people continued to argue around him Cross rested his head in his arms, they would work it out themselves, no point in him giving any of them false hopes...

Kasami smiled when she saw Yuna come in "No, you didn't miss much, just Cross being attacked by a bunch of girls who want to be his partner. Really, just look at them. It's so barbarian!" Kasami laughed when she saw a girl actually take Cross' arm and wrap it around her while telling a bunch of girls to back off. " I was going to ask him to be my partner so I could ask more questions but now..... I guess he has his hands full" She laughed again.

"hey i'll help ya out." Yuna the walked over to the big group of girls..."Hey why don't you all get a life and leave this poor boy alone..." She the turned to Cross " Hey why don't you come over here with me and Kasami" The girls grew quiet out of anger...She then lead Cross over to where Kasami was sitting. "Here this should be more civilized then being attacked by a bunch of girls" She said to Cross with a wink...She then glanced over to the teacher and yelled "that's not very funny and you should be more respectful to your students" She then sat down and waited to see what would happen next.

Sarah sneaked into the class as the destruction was happening. She took a seat by where Kasami and Yuna where avoiding getting into the argument as much as possible. She couldn't help but laugh as the girls got quiet out of anger.She sat back and whatched what would happen next.

Mika sneaked into the class after Sarah. She sat as far as possible. "will you guys just sit down" she said calmly which caused all the girls to glare at her. "You guys are so annoying" she finished.

Whoa, there were actually sane people around here! Were the first thoughts to pop into Cross' mind when he could think again. he had started to feel a little sick when the girls started physically grabbing at him and he was now really grateful for all the sane people in the world.

"I'll doubt it'll be much more civilized. They look ready to murder you with nail clippers...or whatever the heck it is they carry around in those tiny bags of theirs...cause there is no way they can fit any books in there anyway..." Cross murmured, casting a look over to the mob of steadily angering girls. Then he brightened up, "Would one of you sane girls- I mean, would one of you girls like to work with me?"

he shot another look at the teacher and finally registered why she looked so familiar. Another quiet groan slipped past his lips and he pulled on his hair a bit, 'Why me...'

Sarah saw Cross pulling onto his hair a bit and didn't seem so happy to see the teacher "whats wrong with you?" she asked him. The girls in the class were starting to quiet down more but they were still waiting.

Mika groaned "Can we just start class already?" she asked pointing her question to the teacher.

"Me? Oh, it's nothing...nothing at all." cross answered quickly, waving his hands around a little nervously.

"it's not my fault you were late dear. Class has started, I told everyone to get into pairs and start interviewing each other." Ms. Fayt answered Mika. Then she tapped the board, "And the assignment was written on the board too...nah Cross-kun?"

Cross groaned and buried his head into his arms.

"Don't ignore me."

No reply.

"I'm your teacher here."

Still nothing.

"liar" Sarah said to him.It wasn't that hard to tell. He seemed to be hiding something but Sarah decided to just leave him alone. If he didn't want to tell her, she wouldn't persuade him, maybe.

Mika rolled her eyes at the teacher "its not my fault people can't make there decision"

Yuna grabbed Coss' arm gently and said "Cross What is wrong..And don't say nothing because its not nothing." Then Yuna stood up and looked the teacher in the eye " Why are you picking on him. You are suppose to be a teacher. Just leave him alone!" Yuna was starting to get boiled up and so was the teacher. Yuna then quickly smiled at Cross "Why don't you work with Kasami Cross" and with that yuna went over to the angry mob and said "go ahead attack me if you dare"

Yuna couldn't believe that Yuna just did that. If she worked with Cross, there would be a lot of angry girls and they'd be angry at her. Nonetheless, now she could get some answers out of him and that's what she was going to do.
"Yeah let's be partners" Kasami said with a smile before pulling him to the far left corner in the room. Defeater, the wild flock of girls finally paired off and began their assignment. "So, Cross. Where are you from?" She said, just easing her way into the real questions.

Somaria was in the office again for fighting on school campus. What could she do if people did not like her? Most of the girls in school did not like her, because she always hanged around boys when she was not at school. Somaria sat in the chair as the principal was babbling things about her, but she did not really care. When the principal was done she told Somaria to go to her next class. And that's what she did. Somaria was wearing her uniform, but she had her own twist to it, the teachers did not really like that but they could not really do anything about it. She had on a oair of black sneaker, a shorter uniform skirt ( but not too short, probably about a little above the knees) and a shirt school shirt. Her shirt was folded over and not lain downward.
Somaria walked into hearing the ruckus and wondered what was going on. She did not know that there was a boy in the class room. "Um, what are we supposed to do?" She asked the class.

The whole got quiet. Then, some whispers. The girls loved to gossip about Somaria and the fact that she practically lived in the office. Kasami silently nodded her head over to Cross, so Somaria would get it. She knew that Somaria basically lived in the principal's office so there's no way she could have known about the new boy.

Cross' head shot up and he grimaced as Yuna shouted at the teacher, "Actually...she kinda has a right to make fun of me..." he murmured before getting dragged off to the side by Kasami. He faintly registered her question, "Me...? I'm from Italy. My mom's Japanese and my dad's Italian, I was brought up in the States though."

Ms. Fayt easily ignored Yuna's tirade and turned to Somaria. That girl...really..."Pair up. The works on the board."

Somaria Still did not notice that there was a boy in class, for he was surrounded by girls. She wasn't really the one to judge, but when messed with she could be a horror. Somaria turned to the teacher and asked ," Ms. Fayt, most of the girls in this class probably don't like me, but who do you think i should work with?"

"I'm sure Yuna wouldn't mind being your partner Somaria. Just ask her to explain anything you don't understand." Ms. fayt replied, sitting down at her desk and pulling out her attendance sheet, she needed to fill that out before she forgot again. Last time she forgot she sure had gotten an earful from the headmistress.

Somaria walked over to where Yuna and the others were sitting and said,"Um, would it be ok if i joined you?" She paused for a moment then spoke again," I mean i know you most likely heard bad stuff about me and probably don't want to sit with me. But i'm not really that Bad. And if you don't want to work with me i will go and work by myself." Somaria was not pleading but she was just being honest. The girls at the school always said bad things about her.
