Magius Academy Open, accepting.

Twenty years ago there was a catastrophe. In a world that had long forgotten the ancient powers of nature, magic was dead. The year 2012, long prophecied as the end of days, was the reawakening of the lost power.

That cold day in December, every ounce of magic was awoken. Releasing an ungodly amount of energy into the world around them. Straining against the physical realm, reality as we knew it began to falter. Widespread terror and destruction burst out as humans began to change, while others turned entirely.

Then, three stopped, surpressing the wild powers with incantations.

Twenty years since then, the Magic academy of the Order of the Magius, Headed by the three fateful mages. This academy has accepted only students who display a vested interest in educating themselves in the new worlds mysticism.

Students come from all walks of life, all races and species. Today the academy occupies the same area as a small city, a massive structure dominating the skyline, the forbidden archives.

Story of the game: simple, students and professors are all living in the academies grounds, training. There are going to be some wild occurences later but now, daily and simple life.

Brief history: At the age of ten became the only member of the magius order. He became quite skilled at barrier magic. After three years he discovered the Magus's book and took on the duties of his new position.

He discovered the prophecies and drew his two companions in with him

Brief history: A young man, born a year after the awakening, he was raised by his parents who had no understanding of their new found powers. Over his first 16 years, he was considered fairly magically retarded. Until he reached the first trial. After which his vampiric nature began to arise. In less than two years, he sent over twelve individuals into deep depression, and two committed suicide.

Soon Magus O'connor found him and carried him into the protection of the Archive Academy.

Despite being a vampire, he is not goth or emo, in fact, he is relatively perky. Draining psychic and emotional energy from others does that to a guy.

Brief history: Avery was born after the awakening and from a young age learned she was different. From the age of 2 she could set things on fire just by thinking about it. She could get into people's heads by the age of 10, and her powers developed from there on. Her parents, who had no powers, sent her and her older brother here to learn and master her gifts. She's a mage (magician) and a proud of it, but she has a short temper and isn't afraid to use her magic on you. She's friendly and optimistic, and loves to laugh. She has three passions: music, photography, and magic.

He is tall and mostly even tempered unless it comes to his family (especially his sister). He's protective of those he is close to and tries to help people out. From 5 years old he could already make plants grow and die, and move medium sized objects. His powers have gotten stronger, and he is here to master them.

Brief history:
Raised by her dad for a certain point, until he went to go travelling. Jenny went to university to develop her errant powers.
While she can teleport, it isn't something she likes to do often, and out of nerves she usually hyperventalates.

Brief history: She grew up learning how to use magic from her father. She can do small amounts of spells but mainly it revolves around energy. She can pull energy and give energy and is the strongest in a lighting storm. She may be able to use energy but if she gets mad, well bad things could happen. She has a sister whom is very close and dear to her that she traveled with before she turned 8 when their mother took her sister Kaylee.

She is a better swimmer and great at water bending. She is the first in her family to use water as an offense and has trouble with defense sometimes.

Psychic, anything she touches, she can see the past and -sometimes- future of the items/places. Her power's hard to explain, but its a form of psychictry. Although there are times where that power takes over and its hard to controll her.

Brief history:
Born three years after what happened, both twins were powerful even upon birth. Scared by the time the twins were five - they were abandoned. Wandering around, by the time they were six, Essence was entraped by Gypsies to use her as their fortune teller. After a year of piercing migranes, they ran away, living on their own and struggling to learn about their powers. It was fairly dificult since everyone seemed to ignore the obvious. It was only reciently -when they just turned 17- that they were bought to the accademy. Neither left the other's side. They even tried to talk them into having the same room.

((Hmmm...Yes. I have some time to kill anyway~ Can I join? How many characters can we have? Must they only be students and teachers? Do we need permission for teachers? What races are all races? Can I be an orc!? Can I be a dragon!? Can dragons GO to school!? If he put on glasses, would the other students not notice!? What year is it, exactly? What kind of tec do we have?! ...Some of those questions were serious. Sorry, I got excited.))

All races means ANY mythical beings. Just no gods.
You can join. And you can have as many characters as you can keep straight (in your head) and play.
Tech is basically more advanced modern, but technology began to slow down after the great awakening, mostly because everyone was to fascinated by their new magical powers that they just didnt give a crap about tech for a while.

Inside the school grounds (think mahora academy... or for you non negi fans, about the size of a small to mid size city.) technology tends to fail... or become something different. Because of its relative distance from the archives. (this will be explained later...) Any age group but most of the story follows the University students.

He sat up slowly and groaned weakly. Rubbing his eyes Johnathan yawned. Looking out of the hotels window he shrugged out of his night clothes and shook his dark brown hair as he strode to the restroom. "Gods be damned, Its been boring here." He stepped into the shower.

A loud knock came at his door. "One minute!" He grunted as he wrapped his towels around him and pulled the doors open, letting a short man in with a cart. "Thanks old man!" He plopped down in a chair and dug into a stack of pancakes.

He grunted as three women began to shake him awake. "Sir. SIR!" Finally they pushed Magus O'Connor out of his chair and he looked around groggily, "wha... I been up aw nigh... sleep..." laying back he yawned. A large framed man stood over him, massive wings spreading out of his back. All six wings wings shone their respective colors, half a black that sucked the light out from around it, the other half, the brightest white.
Get up. Now. You have a ceremony to preside over dammit."
"Cmon... you can do it... if not you than Sarah..." Yawning the mid height young man stretched, and pushed his glasses up. "Never mind... she'd kill me." Standing up he strode to the wall and waved his hand, a doorway appearing. He strode through them and pulled a long tee shirt over his head. "Alright... open the gates and lemme at em!"

Sakura took advantage and began to explore the campus....She walked into one of the buildings. "wow this place is really pretty" she said out loud to herself...She just stood there in awe...It was really a magnificent place.

A young looking woman, no more than twenty, was wandering through the halls, "Hasn't he already... gods curse it." Passing through the atrium of the advanced dimensional research department, she caught sight of a young elf. "Oh! Hi!" She looked over the young womans form and raised a thin brow, "Your new arent you?" She shooed her on, "I hate to be a nodge but I can't have kids hanging around this building. Its dangerous." She sighed have to talk to the council about putting stronger barriers.

He stepped onto a small platform as it began to rise to meet the air trolley. "I don't think i can get used to this." he muttered to himself and stretched into a comfortable seat on the back of the cabin. Johnathan pushed his jacket off as he watched the roofs below him rushing by.

Shivering, Padrich winces, "Shes angry." He stopped in front of a massive stone door, the archives connection to the real world. He smiled as the door slide open slowly, a bone jostling ceaking and cracking noise as the entryway opened. Quickly, he strode through and the door shut loudly and quickly behind him. He looked around the much smaller library, waving to some of the lingering students. "Oi. What are you study hounds doin here! We getting ready for a party!" He bellowed as he kicked the door open, running a softly glowing hand over his throat. Soon, small orbs of dark and glowing orbs where scattered through the city. "Good morning! I'm sorry for the disruption however I am proud to announce that this years Freshman class has begun arriving! The ceremony will begin in two hours, count them TWO HOURS. All New students are required to be there. Two hours!" he listened to the echo of his voice stretching all the way through the city.

Sakura smiled and walked away from the building....she decided to walk around and try to meet new people.

A young woman finds herself running through the city, looking through the nooks and the crannies that it holds. Suddenly she stops, to hear a giant booming voice announce that she's to be at the ceremony in two hours.

Well, that wasn't to thoughtful, I mean really, if it were me I'd be telling the students were the ceremony is held, She thought to herself. I'd best get going to try and find this ceremony now then- I'd hate to be late! That could be bad... though I don't know what the consequences are...

Jenny runs around now with a new purpose, instead of to explore. She runs through the ally ways, and climbs up tall trees, in hopes to see a sign of this grand celebration.

He passed over the gathering in the road at the front gates. Sitting up quickly he grinned. "So much excitement! Energy!" He stood up, his lethargy suddenly disappearing as the tram slowed to a stop next to a large floating platform. Doors opening, the crowded tram emptied. Slowly, Johnathan picked up his bag and strode out, shivering with the wash of exitement around him.

the platform drifted down as another floated up on the other side of the tram. Grinning as he stepped out onto the cobbled road. "So... I assume this is where my new life starts." He looked around and shivered excitedtly again. I've never felt... so alive. He pushed his way through the crowd to a small alley in the side as he grunted.

He chuckled as he strode across the central fountains surface and into the ADRD. "Sarah! Yo..."
"What Padrich? I heard your announcment! Did you stop to think that not everyone knows where to go?"
"Meh. They will figure it out, surely." He shrugged and shook his head as he grabbed her around the shoulder, "I am confident in that fact."
"Blast it already!" Slapping his hand away Sarah Laughed. "Alright. Fine. Be that way. Something your planning... You and Alathos!"
Shrugging he grinned. "Well there is that." leaning close he muttered something inaudible.

Hm.... ah! There seems to be a large crowd!

Running with ease, she has the quick sprint of one used to running around. She goes towards the crowd she had seen, keeping an eye out for shortcuts.

Somedays I wonder if it would be faster to... no. That... that won't work

Jenny stops to take a couple deep breaths. Just the thought of doing... that... addled her.

Frowning, he felt a sliver of anxiety. Hmm... well I can't say I blame em! Closing his eyes he felt the heady waves of powers and emotions flowing over him. Damn! I think i can get used to this place! He sat on the ground and pulled out a cigarette, he waved a young man over. "Oi... i need a light!" He grinned as a flame danced across the tip. "Thanks!" He took a deep puff.

Sakura joins the big crowd waiting for the ceremony to begin...She smiles ever so brightly and with the sun shining she looks even brighter.

Grunting he covered his eyes. "Hey! dammit! thats too bright!" Standing he frowned, a tingling feeling in his chest. "Hey! You! Yeah! Cut it out already!" he dropped his cigarette and shrugged his bag up over a shoulder.

He grins walking through the Advanced Dimensional Research department. "Hows it coming?"
"Oh! Sir! Its all finished, just a few more attachements!" a large, pouchy older man trotted over waving a large metal tool. "We almost have the third pillar in place, and then there is only the last two... Hour, hour and a half tops!"
"Good Job!" turning he motioned the pouchy man along with him. "I want it to appear in the center courtyard." Patting the mans shoulder he chuckled.

Jenny closes her eyes tightly from the sudden flash of light.

Yowch, ow... that is... so very very bright. Phenomenally bright. Astronomically bright. That, that should not be so bright... ah, if only I had some sun glasses.... perhaps, perhaps thats her power? Blinding smiles?

She looks away, hoping that the ceremony starts soon.

Yuna was starting to get bored waiting for the ceremony to start so she secretively went to explore the campus more in depth.

"OI! Turn off that.. ah damn it!" He grabbed for her shoulder, and shaded his eyes "turn off the damn light already."

whispers began to filter back slowly. "chairs."

Jenny looks around for something to occupy her time. She sees a man stopping a girl by the shoulder, and watches him carefully, just in case.

Sakura quickly stopped smiling...who was this guy and was did he grab her shoulder...She was frightened...."why are u yelling at me
