"Wow that would so suck. I travel a lot so that is food I eat too, but I do stop at stands and stuff to get food every once in awhile. You should try them some time they have such great food. You also get a feel for the area by what type of foods they eat. Adella I see you can use magic too, that is so cool. I can use some magic myself, just don't really have any use for what I can use right now unless you would like to see my fox fire. It's kind of cool looking, it is a glowing blue color."

Kit keeps looking over to Lessa and hoping she don't try any thing. Being around her is hard enough. If she tries some thing I don't know what I would do. Thinking to himself yet again "She seems nice and all, maybe we will be friends after all. Who knows, this is all kind of new to me. Then there is Lilith she seems really nice and seems to want to learn to control her powers, and she is so pretty. I know we will be good friends or maybe even more. Then there is Adella, I still don't know much about her and would like to get to know her a little better. I think we could be good friends."

Lessa looked at everyone with a frown. That fox boy was still to scared to come near her. She did not know what to think about this. She had never been considered scary. this was so strange.

"I would love to come but first." She looked at Kit. "What is your problem?"

Looking kind of nervous at the question but not wanting to be rude "I have a fear of dogs. You being a werewolf really scares me. You seem nice and all but I am afraid you might try to hurt me. It's not you just a part of my past that really I don't like talking about involved a dog of some kind killing my mother. So I hope you understand that I would like to be your friend, just that I fear all dog like people and animals." looking at Lessa hoping she isn't mad at me.

Lessa frowned and shrugged

"Whatever. YOu do what you like its not my problem. Just remember I can eat you for dinner if I really want to so stop being afraid."

She laughed at her joke.

Looking kind of scared but realizing she was joking "Okay then I will try to." with a smile on his face. Thinking to himself "Okay she seems nice just kind of different."

Lilith didn't say anything more, she glanced back at Kit for a moment making sure he wasn't going to have a panic attack or anything. When Lessa was joking around she smiled, it wasn't even forced. Although, as if by instinct she put back on a straight face and looked down at the ground. "Okay, come on lets go. My stomach is making funny noises and it's getting annoying."

Adella watched the exchange between Lessa and Kit curiously. Since she arrived Adella had been riding an emotional roller coaster, and few of those were her own. She attempted to pull up a mental and emotional shell, for the atmosphere tasted very tense. Tart and bitter. There wasn't much luck with the barrier. It took too much concentration. She desperately hoped that Lessa really wouldn't try anything, for the sake of the peace around the school, but as annoyed as Lessa seemed, there was no immediate danger.

"I'd like to hear more of your travels, Kit, if you don't mind. I love hearing travel stories. As for street stands, I'm not too fond of them for they don't carry many of my food preferences. I know I can't be picky in times of need, but being a pureblood elf...there are certain foods I must avoid," She fidgeted, "I dabble in magic here and there. I'm still young and I don't know the full extent of my abilities. I'm quite an established healer though. I apologize if you find that I was showing off. I dont like to use my magic much unless it's needed. I'd love to see your fox fire, Kit. I think we should wait til we're on the grounds though... I don't want any of the bedding to catch fire. It's too lovely in here," Adella giggled at the look on Kit's face when Lessa jokingly threatened him.

Adella turned her curious gaze to Lillith and smiled politely, "I'm sorry if you find me rude. This new place is a lot for me to take in...and I just find your aura rather curious..." Adella trailed off, "I hope that doesn't offend you...or push you away. It's not a bad thing at all" She gave a shy smile and hoped Lillith wouldn't take it the wrong way.

She looks around and nods at Lillith's comment. "I'd like to go find food too, Lillith. Let's not dally in here anymore."

And with that Adella made towards the door and entered the hallway. She turned around one way and the other and scratched her head as if she were thinking hard.

"uhh...does anyone remember where the Headmistress said the dining hall was?"

Kit looking at Adella spoke up and said "I don't mind sharing my travel stories, if you are willing to share yours with me. I do love to hear about others travels as I have been many different places in my time. As for my fox fire, I love showing off my abilities to others. I may even show you a trick I have learned to do when trying to fool with people. It is really fun but can some times get me into trouble. As for you showing off, I didn't think that was showing off. Magic can be very useful if you don't have the right tools to use. You just did it because there wasn't a broom in here and didn't want to leave a mess. As for your last question, I have no clue either. How about you two do you remember where it is?" Kit looks at Lilith and Lessa.

Lessa sighed and nodded her head. SHe stood up and opened the door stepping outside.

"Lets get going then so we can help foxy over here solve his puppy problems."

"Very well, Kit. After food can go to the grounds and you can show us. Just make sure, Kit, that you don't try and deceive or fool me. Elves don't take kindly to that kind of thing, and I wouldn't want to develop a grudge against you for any reason. You seem really nice," She smiled and turned to the rest of the group, "We'll continue chit chat later at the table. I'd really love to know more about you all. On the quest for the dining hall!"

Adella bounced around in the hallway and looked around, not realizing she had begun speaking in limericks. It was an old habit she had tried to let go of to help her forget. It tended to arise when she felt fleeting moments of happiness.
"Let's go back to the central hallway. It shouldn't be far from there. Let's not dawdle, for we have little time to spare,"

As morose as Adella had been earlier, some excitement crept into her. Maybe it was the idea of a new start. A place where nobody knew her secret. Where nobody knew of her pain. And perhaps they could sympathize as well...She might find out or she may never know. She just hoped her sudden mood swings wouldn't drive anyone off...there were some things about herself that even she wanted to forget.

"I don't fool with friends, that is one rule I have, but I do fool with bullies and people who take pleasure in being mean to those weaker then them. I love showing off my powers also, it's just fun to show people my talents. I wish I could find a rapier to use I could show you a few tricks with my fox fire and a rapier. As for the food thing I am starved myself. I didn't get to eat before I seen the school. Lessa thank you for being so concerned too about my fear. Well I don't really know you are concerned but thanks for being willing to help me with it. I like meeting new people so I am willing to try and get along with you for that sake." Kit then just watches as Adella seems to get more cheerful by the minute. I almost loses himself in her whimsical nature and pulls out a small flute from what looks to be nowhere. "Adella do you sing? If you could I can play along with you and we can have fun with your use of limericks. I think it's really cute that you do that by the way." Looking at her with a smile.

*Alliana flits about noticing the happening below. Not about to get swatted at like some pestering insect she sat atop a rose bush a few feet away from the girls and the boy*

Adella nods at Kit and smiles once she realizes she can trust him to not attempt to fool her.
"Amiable indeed, Kit. I don't like bullies...not a bit. That's likely one thing that will spark my rage...kids who are rude and don't act their age..."

Adella blushes and realizes she's speaking in limericks. Her mood began spiraling in a roller coaster again. She was happy because Kit was happy...But she was suddenly sad because it reminded her of...that time. She chose her words more carefully, trying not to speak in limericks again. She smiled politely at the flute and attempted to mask her sadness with Kit's lightheartedness.

"I...I don't sing much anymore. Only when I'm really really happy. That's the only time an elf really sings..."

Adella's ears pricked and she turned to look out a distant window. She could see, perched on a rosebush something small and glittering. She hoped desperately it wasnt a pixie. Most pixies were devious little things that liked to pull pranks. Faeries were like that too on occasion.

Plays along with Adella, then noticed that she was stopping and wondered why. Looking at Adella, he thought to himself "I should wait a and find out later what might be the problem." So he stopped playing for a sec and said "Okay, well I enjoyed playing along with you like that I hope we can do it again. Now lets find out where this dining area is so we can all eat." look at Adella and just hoping every thing is okay.

Adella smiles politely as the music faded away, "Maybe one day soon we can play along. We can all lie under the moon and sing a song..."

ugh...limericks again

Adella spoke carefully, "doesn't anyone have a map?" She giggled nervously.

"Not yet, but if we split up we might find it faster. I would also like that singing under the moon idea, as I love to play music and sing myself. So when you are up to it I would love to join you for sure." Still looking at Adella "I think it's cute that you talk in limericks. It's very enjoyable to listen to, because it almost sounds like you are singing while you talk. I hope you do it more." smiling when he says it.

*Comes closer to the window to see what is going on. Noticing a bright orange flame of a candle*

"I must find a way in. I MUST."

*Taps on the window vigorously.*

Looks over and hears something tapping quickly on a near by window. Going over to it, noticing a small flying girl and realizing what she was opens the window for her. "Hi there, how are you doing? I am Kit, and these ladies are Adella, Lilith, and Lessa. We are going to eat if you want to join us."

Lilith was completely silent the rest of the time. She followed a few feet behind everyone, not really sure what to say. Her eyes had moved to the flying girl outside of the window before anyone else said anything. When he let the girl in her gaze moved to the floor again. If you couldn't tell this was all very strange to her.

Adella blushed even more at Kit's comments on her limericks. She just nodded. There was really nothing she could say about it anymore without it getting more awkward.

"I'll look this way," Adella points down the long end of the hallway, "Does anyone want to accompany me?"
She looks at Lillith and smiles.
"Since Lessa and I are more acquainted now she can tag along with you, Kit. I'd like to get to know you some more as well, Lillith," She smiles.

"I'm fine with going with Lessa, it will give us a chance to get to know each other." looking a bit calmer now then before. Kit has returned to his human form with no tail or fox ears.

"Nice to meet you Kit. Thanks for the invitation. It's a pleasure to meet you all", she said as she flew behind them dancing around in the air. "I just love this town, it's so peaceful. Where did you guys come from?" She flew ahead and saw glorious amounts of food. She'd never been so hungry in her life, until she saw more food then she could ever have imagined, ever have dreamed.
She was starved.

Kit looks at the faerie and asks "So what is your name." as he sees she had found the dining area. "I am starved too, so I think I could eat enough to fill a small army." Kit looks at all 4 girls and just wonders what he got himself into this time.
