Quinn shook his head. "Mom has no idea.. And I can't tell her. I want to.. but I can't. She is so happy with him.." Taking her hand to his mouth, he kissed it. He wanted to say something about her need to stay at Drake's tonight, but he figured it was best to just leave it be. They were nearly at the school, the walk making his legs sore. Certainly, he wasn't in shape anymore. As the school came in view, his hand slipped and he dropped Katie's. Biting his lip, he grabbed her hand again. He didn't want anyone at the school to think they weren't a happy couple. |
((Its fine ^^ and sorry Tear rose, I just wanted to know what you thought about the dance idea. We could make it so the dance is tonight, since well my school had a beginning of the year dance on the first friday ;3 ))
Katie nodded a little."So I heard theres a dance.."She said looking at Quinn, getting an odd feeling since he had dropped her hand." Well I would say you should tell her but if he makes her happy.." She sighed and led him to the front door of the school and walked inside."What period do you have first?" She asked, glancing around and then looking at him. She brushed her bangs out of her face and smiled over at him to brighten things. ((Okay, everyone should go to first period > . < )) |

Lena laughed lightly but shrugged. Her mind lost track, and she changed the subject. "So, where is this place anyways?" She asked, sniffling just a little. She wondered if lying had been a good thing. She knew about how much guys liked to win. And being a girl, it was a bad habit of hers to let them win. Though some people she knew had been totally against her ways. It wasn't that Lena made other people do it too, just some discussional debates had gone on before....

Gage glanced over at her and smirked, nodding down the road. "Two streets over. It's a small place, not too well known really. But it's fun." he said, pushing a pedal as the light turned green again. "All you gotta know about pool is the angle and stuff. And don't get the black ball in before the other ones. I'm sure you'll do alright." he said, smiling a little. He'd had people that were new to the game catch on quickly, and it'd always been good fun.

Lena smirked. "Sounds cool! Are you competetive?" She asked, really wanting to make sure that if she whipped out her good pool that he wouldn't have a fit because he lost. She'd known many people like that, and it didn't take her long to walk out of the place.

Gage shrugged a little. "A little, but I'm no sore loser. I mean, it's just for fun." he said, tilting his head. Once they turned the corner on the second street, he found a parking spot. The place wasn't crowded, just one or two other cars. The building was a little on the medium small side, but looked decent enough. "Are you?" he asked.

Lena nodded, that was good. Really good. She shook her head when he asked her the question back. "Nope. All is fair in games and war." She grinned and her small word changing there. When he parked she unbuckled, sneezed and got out. The place looked pretty cool, and it was good that it wasn't crowded.

He turned the car off and unbuckled himself. "Nice policy." he said, giving her a small smirk before shutting the door once he got out. "Welcome to Sharkeys." he said, chuckling as he made his way to the door, opening it for her to go in first. The inside was somewhat dim, with a few old photographs, and some sports banners There were about five pool tables, plenty of sticks, and the little cubes to use on the tip of the sticks. "Pick a table and I'll pay for the thing." he said, heading to the counter near one of the corners. There were a few snacks behind the counter, along with many types of drinks.

Lena laughed. "Thank you!" She followed him into the place, Sharkeys, and looked around. It was pretty cool, if she said so herself. She walked over to a table and nodded. She felt bad for making him pay since it wasn't a date, but let it go. She began to set up while she waited.

Once he got the token, he walked over and placed the coin in the side of the pool table, taking out the balls that were released. "Alright, we've got this for an hour, so plenty of time, right?" he asked, offering a smile. He helped finish setting the pool table up, grabbing the white ball and placing it in the circle thing. "You want to break or shall I?" he asked, glancing over at her.

Lena helped set up and then grabbed a stick. She was turning the white cube at the tup when he asked. She shrugged. "I'll let you break. You know more than me." She told him with a small smile.

(Idk so people can vote for whatever they want and i'll decide. My school just threw a regular dance on the first friday so Idk what to do xD ))
