The teen looked back over and leaned against the wall, unsure if he should share his thoughts. With a sigh, he played with his hair again. He did miss talking to someone. "Like disappearing." he answered, looking at him with serious blue eyes. He knew he was a bit selfish sharing this with the stranger, but he was the closest person he had at the moment, and the only other person that seemed even the slightest bit interested in whatever he was thinking.

Anansi gave the boy an appraising look. He seemed serious about that. And that statement had a lot more then what it meant. Most people said they would like to disappear, not be here. His eyes were serious and very focused. Anansi was glad he asked. "And why would you want to disappear? What has made you so certain that you existence should be withdrawn from the world, hmm?" There were many things in this world, many many things. What made this boys case so special. The minds at which thought him up? Anansi had not ventured into such a realm, he preferred amusing stories to those that were depressing. Now he wished he had bothered, he didn't like not being in someones head. Though Cleo seemed willing to share his problem.

Heo frozen as he listen to Hotaru words it wasn't as bad as he thought. He thought he had raped Hotaru at first. Heo got up an moved back over to Hotaru to check on him and that wound on his wrist. "Please don't die Hotaru... Don't go away..." He pulled Hotaru in to his lap.
"I'm sorry about last night that why I didn't want to sleep with you in the first place I was word that would happened.... then when I was drunk... I wasn't thinking... Please don't die" He wanted to see if the wirst had stop bleeding yet. Even a mage with his weaken power naturally would be able to heal a wound of that size with out it taking days.
"I want you alive.. I keep telling you that but also I want to wait because its going take time for me... I'm not even sure how I actually feel about you... I really don't but I know I need you alive Hotaru. Stay alive and with me, let me protect you...I've already lost everything else in my life please don't let me lose you too. My whole family is dead... I'm the last of my line..... That mean alway my intend family as well... Before the attack on the mage tower they went around serectly killing us off. The only reason my brother and I were not hit then was we were in the tower with Mathew..."
Heo sighed. "It was Mathew 10 minute force field that got us out of the tower. But when it fail. They came for us and the old man was with us too. My brother left Mathew in my care and went to hold them off alone... He made me promise some thing and I wanted to kept it. I could feel the pain when my twin died. That cripping sick feeling..." Heo held on to Hotaru not making it easy for hotaru to escape this time.
"We went through so much.... then you pop out of the blue telling me you love me... that you love me for so long and I bearily even know who you were. That was our second time meeting to me... But now I'm not sure what to think of you just stay a live Hotaru please... For your self stay alive."
------------------------------------------
Mathew blushed and rested his head agiest Chris's chest as he ate. "As long as you stay near me I'll try my best with my power love."

Hinding behind a book a little four inch fairy hide, she did not go in to her book with Ain try to get them to go. And she was looking for Ain going book case by book case looking for him. She was going to get him today. She alway was doing this to him seeking to find him and useing her sleep dust to make him sleepy. It was her fairy way to keep people from doing there job and making trouble for them. She spot Ain with another book character looking person who was not in there book and another boy most likely a student. The little fairy started to moved slowly closer hideing behind any thing she could making her move closer to Ain.

"New book, huh..." she began to think to herself. She wouldn't have assumed she was a new book seeing how long her story went on for. She was an adventure type book (probably PG-13 like the rest) with slight comedy and action. Though her books were quite cheerful looking for an action book, she would've assumed she would make a popular book. She was slightly disappointed. "Certain people...what do you mean by that?"

Ain glance at Refilwe."they are well behaved people. At least for tonight. they know if anything happens to a student, they get punished and or removed from the library. I assure you, what you saw was just, a slip up." he said, sighing. "We've had better days.." he said. Maybe he was just having a bad chain of events. Hopefully once Halloween was over, he'd sleep the whole Sunday. Or, maybe not. The library still needed tending to. "Basically, they go by sections. we have stations set up like somewhat mazes. The younger ones go to the softer ones. The bigger ones go to the ones that are scarier. Obviously I'm not gonna let the ones that are killers out." he stated, thinking about how he would do this. His attention back to Sakura, he raised an eyebrow. "Well, obviously some people aren't going to like graphic novels, and there are those who do. Stuff like that." he said, still somewhat suspicious of her. She seemed to know a bit too much, maybe a bit too curious.

Sakura nodded. "Makes sense I suppose.." she said. She shrugged. She should've guessed the people that followed the adventures of her life are people that might only enjoy graphic novels and not other people who would rather read a book with more sentences and what not. Oh well, at least some people read it. But the best part for her being a book and all is that, she could never see the eyes of the people reading...she can only know when somebody tells her they're reading..it would be less creepy that way she guessed.

The sleep fairy had finally got behind Ain. She looked around left then right making sure the close was clear. She was going get him he wasn't getting away from her tonight. She rubbed her hands togetter and held on tight to her fiary dust bag. With an evil grin on her face she made the last quick fly from the book she was hiding behind and swung her fairy dust bag right in to the back of Ain peging him with the fairy dust of sleep. "Got YA!" The little fairy grinned evilly floating behind Ain. the Dust would take a few minutes to kick him but she knew it would work. "Hahahaa no work for you!!"

Ain smiled a little before he winced at the contact of something hitting his back. He started coughing somewhat from the dust getting in his nose. "Ugh! What the??" he asked, somewhat unsure of what exactly just happened. He frowned at the little thing. "How... I.. think Anansi was right about needing someone else to help me." he muttered, shaking his head. He glanced over to Refilwe before smirking. "You want a somewhat part time job?" he asked somewhat playfully, feeling somewhat drowsy. "What did you do?" he asked, frowning at the tiny creature, some dread in his eyes as he realized she'd said no work. He had plenty of work to do before the night was done.

Refilwe nodded as he listened to the explanation. Well there had been no injuries or reports from any other time, he would have heard something. Not one person was suspicious either. He thought a bit. Ain did seem like he had a handle on things, but with out help that was odd. There was also the point that Ain was not human. That was another oddity...what exactly was he? Refilwe was hesitant to ask.
His mothers beliefs seemed more likely and their family was from old blood, witch doctors, shaman, energy workers. There was a word for what thought he might be but there were others. He had met his extended family on a trip to Africa one year. He was rather surprised as was Kwabena. he glanced up at Ain when asked him a question. He paused. "You mean here...?" he asks uncertainly. That would be...interesting. He already had an answer for that one.
His eyes trailed over towards the small fairy that had hit Ain with something. She said something about no work. That was very random. Ain didn't even have a chance to retaliate. Why didn't the fairy want him to work?

Cleo sat up then, thinking. He didn't really have an existance. He was words. Imagination. He wasn't truly something meant to be exist. He was just a story. These were points that he could easily argue, but Cleo was being asked on a personal level, not a factual one. With a sigh, his thin, bare shoulders shrugged and he crossed his arms. "I don't enjoy my life and the time in which I live. What is the point of life? To live. To enjoy your time. But if I am not doing that, then there is no point. Family? Would they keep me alive? No, they were not. I am not....sympathetic. They aren't in my life, only their money.
"It get's better" you could say, were I human. But I'm not." he explained, touching his sketch book. "I have ambitions. Don't get me wrong. I have things that I am sure I could live for. But what's the point of my existence? To entertain the minds of readers? There are more books out there. What would it matter if just one chose to be blank?" The books here had a voice now. Shouldn't they be able to decide their outcome...?

He gave a small nod, rubbing his eyes to try and get the sleep away. "Yes, here. I mean, I need some help since I can't run it 24/7. As it was pointed out by Anansi, and I'm beginning to see why. I can't be in two places at once, and.. well. I, might need some help." he said, somewhat unhappy about admitting it. But what could he do, he wasn't that powerful. And he seemed to be slipping up a bit more now. "I can count it as a class if you want, and excuse you from another one. Extra credit or something. After school, I can pay you if you'd like." he started, feeling slightly more drowsy. Just what had the fairy done?

Anansi frowned. Of course he had sound reasoning. Often times he wished it were that simple. If the book is gone, it is not just his book. Another would take its place and the he would be brought back, should he find his way here again. It was a vicious cycle Anansi wanted to avoid. The book itself would only create another cycle, another person. Nothing that can be rectified by disappearing.
"But what would be the point. A normal person might say 'it could get better.' but a normal person can lie to themselves just as well. I am not here to tell you that everything is alright, or that there is good that comes with the bad because that isn't always the truth." Anansi sighed. "There is always a consequence to ones actions." He shook his head, "We are not supposed to change our stories, if we were, my wife and child would still be with me. But I live in the minds of others that say I have no family. Therefore I live for them in these stories." He stood to his full height throwing a calculated gaze at the wall. "But there is always a way." He mutters.
------------------------
Refilwe blinked at Ain. His mother would be thrilled at the prospect. "I have a free period that i usually use for homework, it is right now actually, right after lunch. Every other day starting with Monday. I will take you up on your offer." He seemed rather tired. he wondered if the man had gotten any sleep since this morning. He pushed it to the back of his mind for later. "I can start when you need me." He tells him straightening his shirt out of habit,

Ain smiled, tilting his head and rubbing an eye. "Really. Think you might be able to start now? I need help with catalouging everything. See what's lost or stolen. Or tonight, if your mother would let you." he said. His eyes drooped a little, growing somewhat limp. "Ngh.." he muttered, rubbing his eyes. "I think, she did something." he muttered, his eyes glazing a little, trying to shake it off. Normally such tricks wouldn't work, or take a longer time to work. This must have been something to work soon. He didn't want to sleep though, it would be a very bad thing. he had so much to do.

Cleo sighed and shook his head. Then there was nothing he could do. And, actually, he knew that. He wasn't going to fight the fact that he was a book. All he could do was just go on. "But that doesn't explain why we are out of our books. Why are we, now all of a sudden, something more than words on a page? Why are we real now? Shouldn't we not exist as we are?" They were given a human form. Something that can he heard, tasted, touched. But that was too deep. Perhaps it was nothing more than they had a chance to be real, if only for a limited time at night. "So what now...You help your librarian friend? And us books? What do we do? Sit here?"

Sakura gasped. "Ain?! Are you alright? I think I saw that creepy firefly-girl hybrid throwing some sparkly flour at you!" she said. She described what she saw the best was that she could but the truth was, she never saw a fairy before. This had been the first time she saw something so small and strange, some chick with wings. So odd. This time, she wasn't playing dumb like she seemed to have been doing the whole time. She was dead serious.

"If I knew the reason for our being I would not need to dance around and debate this with you." He says staring at Cleo. "This library is very unique." He turned to the wall again. "If there are others like it we have not found them. As to what to do. I find that helping out gives me more freedom then just being forced back into my book." Anansi's eyes glazed over, his brow creased as he was remembering things. Most tended to forget, or tried to when they were brought here, Anansi could not. He had the gift of the sky god, it meant that he had to remember everything any one had ever told him, every word. It was annoying and irritation was no small part. A small wickedness went through him, a reflection of his early days. His eyes narrowed briefly in an angry stare before his face returned to its neutral stare.
-------------
Refilwe nodded. "Can start now. I haven't anything really to do." he nodded his head again as he stared at Ain. he really looked like he was falling asleep. He was reminded of sleep powder as he watched him. Refilwe placed a hand on the the mans shoulder glancing at him worriedly. He really looked tired. That was slightly worrying. "Are you alright?"

Cleo could see that the man was taken to another place within his mind, so he stayed silent. He hands came up to his arms and he rubbed, feeling a little chilly. Libraries were always a little too cold for his liking. Sighing and pushed his hands through his hair. There was nothing to talk about or to debate any longer, so he stood there, awkwardly watching him.
There were so many books. Cleo looked around, picking at the spines and reading the letters. Surely not all of them came to life? Perhaps the histories did. It seemed then that he couldn't remember anything pertaining to knowledge learned in school. He laughed bitterly, shaking his head. More proof that he wasn't real. The blond felt sympathetic, then. "Must be lonely for you." he said, looking over. He didn't know much about the other's story, but the pained, remembering look he got told him it wasn't a comedy or the like.

"FREEDOM!!!! hahahaa" The tiny fairy was giggling and laughing. "We win!!! hahaha" she giggled. "No more work ever!!!!" Then she flew off quickly was speeds most could never see and dart around books to fine a nice sleeping place. She did her job just she could sleep the rest of the day and party with the rest of the books later tonight. Those her dust only lasted 8 hours but that was 8 hours without the noise of Ain working around her. She like being lazy the best and when people over worked them self it was her job to make them sleep even if that what she would rather be doing as well, sleeping.

Sakura jumped slightly as she watched the small but loud fairy fly off to another direction. She raised her brow at her. "Ain, what is she talking about?" she turned back to Ain who seemed to be half asleep by now. She sighed as this place became quite troublesome. She definitely didn't think there were crazy books like her (not including Kleisser) and she began to wonder something out of the topic. 'Hm..I'm surprised she wasn't offended by my comment..'

Ain frowned, blinking before he leaned against the bookshelf. "I'm feeling extremely, tired.." he muttered, his vision becoming blurry. He yawned, his ears lowering themselves on his head. This was bad. He wanted to ask something else, but soon enough, he found himself slipping into darkness, his body relaxing before he slumped down on the floor, in a dead sleep.

Refilwe's eyes went wide as he tried to cushion Ain's decent to the ground. He wasn't really that heavy but still it wasn't like he could lift the man. "Oh dear.." He mutters shifting Ain on his shoulder. What was he supposed to do now? He had no idea. he turned to Sakura with a slightly worried look. "Where is Anansi?" He asks, "Or someone who knows what to do?" Ain had just completely passed out. That couldn't be healthy though he supposed it was magic. He had no basis for magic. There really wasn't much he could do about it. His brow creased. He didn't like not knowing what to do but since this morning that had happened quite a lot. He just hoped this wasn't permanent. He wasn't even sure how to explain this.
--------
Anansi just stare a few more moments at the wall before turning back to him. He held and deep empathy for the boy. "There isn't much else, is there?" He says slightly solemn. No there wasn't, short of disappearing and being replaced. He didn't even want to think of it. "What will you do with this information?" He asks curiously. "Why even entertain the thought of knowing?"

There really was nothing he'd do about it. He knew that. He wasn't that brave. Again he shrugged, holding himself. "Nothing, I guess. Just...passing the time with idle talk." Most likely that's all it was. A part of him not wanting to be alone. Wanting to have someone to at least be near. Back at home he didn't have many friends, but he always listened to what was going on on the outside. He had, in his story, grown close with a model of his, but it wasn't anything beyond a casual date and awkward silence.
Being unable to stand in one place any longer, he began to fidget. "We should probably go find the other's." he said, turning to head to where he had last seen the others. He had no idea that they, in fact, needed help.

After he had been shown the book, Kleisser had taken it and simply stared at it, flipping through the empty pages before staring at the cover again, reading the title in a low voice, "The Legends of Acardia: The Rise of Darkness, by Darkos Remington." He continued to read the title and them name, over and over before a dark grin spread across his face as he began to put together a plan in his mind. He gave a chuckle as he placed the book where it had fallen before turning to Ain and saying, "Is there any other way for me to read the book? Any other libraries or on those scrying devices over there?" Kleisser pointed towards the computers when he asked about scrying devices.

Sakura shrugged with a frown. "I-I'm not sure! You think we should follow the winged girl and find some kind of antidote for the sparkly flour?" she asked Refilwe not really sure of what she was saying exactly. She thought maybe if they tricked her someway that they could get the antidote or some kind of recipe to wake Ain up before something even more serious happens.

Anansi nodded as he head towards the area where they had left the others. He could understand the need for idle chat. It was something he bothered Ain with when he was here. Inquiries about the weather, ask him about his day, things a normal person does everyday. It was all very mundane. He sighed.
Refilwe looked up when Kleisser posed a question to Ain, who was out as of the moment. How was he supposed to answer? He shook his head. It didn't matter, he needed to put the man somewhere. Figures, first day on the job and he had no instruction."Well that is a good idea but I can not at the moment. Would you go look for the fairy?" He asks Sakura. This was no good. Refilwe tried to stand as he shifted the arm around his shoulder. He looked up again to Anansi entering the room. This looked a bit bad.
"And what pray-tell is going on here?" He asks sending a positively venomous stare at Refilwe who was still trying to stand up straight.
