High school is a stepping stone in every person's life, and also in the life of those who aren't exactly human. Here at Heltwood Academy for Gifted Youngsters we provide a safe place for those society deems 'different' and offer them a haven to learn and grow in. All students are accepted on the Heltwood grounds and are taught how to control their unique powers or how to be accepted in the outside world. However, it is still high school, so go out and have fun, make friends, fall in love, and maybe even make a few enemies along the way!
Rules and Regulations for Heltwood Students: 1. No god characters or auto hitting. Everyone has a weakness no matter how amazing they are.
2. Romance is encouraged, but don't go over PG-13. The PDA police will find you.
3. Please, please, please no one liners. Writer's block is understandable but if you keep your posts interesting than the people around you can too. Be prepared to dish out at least one good sized paragraph.
4. Violence is okay, however this is still a school and turning around to randomly punch another character in the throat is not going to go over well with some teachers.
5. Post at least once every other day. If you don't, I reserve the right to kick you out. If you have a good reason, just drop me a quick PM. Please, I cannot stress this enough, don't just disappear! To have a good roleplay you need people to roleplay with!
6. Use proper grammer and spelling to the best of your ability. There is this great thing called Spell Check.
7. PM all profiles to me. I will shoot a PM telling you if you are accepted and then you can start posting.
8. Try to keep this fun and interesting by having a variety of characters. That means not everyone can be a vampire or demon. Let's have some creativity with our characters!
9. Have fun!
Disclaimer: I reserve the right to add rules if I see fit.
Setting:
The school is an old, large manor in the Middle of Nowhere, USA. The school is surrounded by an old (some say mystical) forest and travel there is forbidden unless otherwise instructed by the teachers. It is currently three days before school offically starts.
Updates: New friendships are unfolding as the Grim Reaper Luca meets the niave witch Rivka. Malcom and Lisell are ready to take out any unsuspecting vitcum and the new students are either lost, or about to get in some trouble...

My Puppet Master is: Daemora
People call me: Ariana Silvaen, but my friends call me 'Ari' or 'Aria'
I am: 17 years old and a Senior, I started school at a younger age than most others. I did not skip a grade.
I am at this school because I am: well, a guardian angel I guess you could say. I can sense and feel the emotions around me and thus alter the emotional atmosphere. I cannot change the emotions of others, but I can help them to calm down and relax and stuff.

I dislike: Cruelty, torture and bad people, oh and I can't stand pecans and cashews, apparently I'm allergic or something. I also greatly dislike fire and have a dreadful fear of enclosed spaces. Claustrophobia, I think is what they call it.
When I look in the mirror I see:
Something else about me is: I'm not exactly an angel, at least not yet. I haven't earned my wings or the right to protect anyone, a person that we call our 'charge' when we are assigned to protect them. Oh, and I have no memories. I guess I forgot to mention that, heh.
My Puppet Master is: Daemora
People call me: Lazareth Kelturin Zarioth, I guess 'Laz' or 'Zar' would be good for a nickname.
I am: 18 years old and I'm actually just a Sophmore. I was kept back two years... in a row.
I am at this school because I am: a demon with a talent for manipulating matter. Not that I can do a whole lot of stuff with it yet. Apparently I'm some kind of Chimera, several different demons in one form, meh. I don't care.
I like: dark and shadowy areas, cold and damp places, that and I tend to thirst for blood a lot. Oh, you meant stuff I like that no one knows about... well, I guess the big thing is that I really like roses, especially when they're black. And uh... oh yeah, coffee, I almost can't go without the stuff.
I dislike: bright lights and super sweet, happy people. Sorry girls, I like 'em moody and unique.
When I look in the mirror I see:
Something else about me is: I'm a slow learner, that and I have a hard time focusing on any task. They say I have a very serious case of ADD and some other crazy thing that makes me more chillaxed than other demons. I'm too laid-back they say, not at all crazy like I'm supposed to be. Yeah, whatever. Umm, can I go now?

I like: I basically survive off of eating sugar and sweets, I like caffeinated drinks, love cats, and my lovely imaginary friends.
I dislike: I'm not too big of a dog fan, people in general just seem to bother me, and actually putting effort into something is just a waste of time.
When I look in the mirror I see:
Something else about me is: I go by Waltz. I'm not a mean person, just somewhat of a self-centered one.
My Puppet Master is: Little Miss
People call me: Neil Quincy Ray (Just Neil please)
I am: 17 years of age and a Junior
I am at this school because I am: I happen to be a creationist. Basically, I have such an intellect to cross living organisms to do my bidding. I goes against nature, but the scientific experience is just too interesting to quit.
I like: Reading, using rather large words, any raw fish meals, sleeping outdoors, and experimenting on other creatures.
I dislike: My cat-like eyes, those ignorant scientist, people who don't understand my liking for cross-creating.
When I look in the mirror I see:
Something else about me is: Ah! I have a pet, Sheela, a cross between a rabbit and a snake. Trust me, she looks a lot cuter then she sounds.

Luca sighed as he walked down to the doorms. Yet another year in hell. He had been there last year as a freshman, but perhaps this year because he was a sophomore he would be able to avoid getting beaten up. Its all about status right.
Just then a mysterious foot rose out of the ground and tripped Luca.
"Nice to see you again Puka." laughed someone. Luca didnt even look at who did it. He just focused on all the stuff that fell out of his pockets and getting them back to where they belonged.

Rivka had been the 'human releam' for two weeks and was only scratching the surface of understanding the strange culture. She had travelled from her home in Hael to the world of humans because she wanted furthur understanding of her magical abilities, and it didn't hurt that she was getting cultured in the process. So many sights to take in and so many different kinds of people (in Hael, everyone looked very much the same so it was quite boring) and so many new things to learn. Rivka decided to spend the morning walking about the small town she had resided in for the prior two weeks. One store in particular caught her interest; it had shelves of things the people called books. They stored information for the people, correct? Rivka felt like that would be a good place to learn more about the fascinating humans and walked inside, giddy with excitment.
One row of books (they were very flimsy and shiny, they were books, correct?) caught her interest. On the covers were different people in various poses but they all had one thing in common: they were all very beautiful. Rivka caressed the smooth pages of one of the flimsy books. The girl radiated such confidence and Rivka could feel the jealousy swell in her gut. She wanted to be that woman, and with the help of magic she could. Quietly and quickly she whispered a few words under her breath. Slowly her long black hair grew shorter and lighter while her skin also lightened. Her eyes grew bigger with long lashes lining them and turned a lovely shade of blue, next her body changed from its usual shape to the perfect hourglass. Rivka felt her face with her hands and upon feeling the difference she was quite satified and opened the strange book to keep looking. No one in the store had noticed the slow transformation.
After a few more moments Rivka had changed her clothes to a dark blue "off the shoulder" shirt she had found on one of the many glossy pages and now wore "cut off" jean shorts as well. She licked her lips. This book had so many wonderful pictures and she had to own it.
"Excuse me?" She had a strange accent as she spoke to one of the clerks. "What might I trade to acquire this book?" The clerk didn't know how to respond to the young girl.
"Uh, you give me money, and you can have the magezine." She replied dryly. Rivka thought hard for a moment. Money, that was the green paper people had, correct? She didn't have any of that.
"I have no money," she started. "But perhaps this will do?" The young witch handed the clerk a small piece of gold (the currency of her world). The clerk was taken back.
"I, uh!" Rivka took that as a good sign and, after taking her "magezine", left the store.
It was late morning by the position of the sun (which was yellow, weird) and Rivka took that as a good time to head off to her new school, via transportation spell of course. The humans did have many wonderful things, however their transportation was severly lacking. Again, the witch said a few muttered words and the scenery blurred past until she was standing in the hallway of her new school. It was at that time she saw a poor boy tripped by another student. Rivka quickly fell to the ground to help the boy pick up his fallen belongings...

Luca was trying to pick up his things when someone started to help him. He was more shocked than anything. He help on tight to what he had in his hand and fell backwards. If there was one thing he wasnt used to it was others.
"Oh." He managed to squeak out the one work. He stared at the being in front of him. He was silent for a few secconds and tried to analyze what was going on. "Uh." Was all he could say. He started picking up his stuff faster and once he was done he stood straight up. "Thanks." Through Luca's blue hair his face wore a confused expression.

Rivka had managed to only pick up a pack of gum before the boy had increased his speed and grabbed all of his things from the ground. That was a strange reaction, correct? Didn't she do something that humans would call nice? She climbed from her knees and thoughtfully patted the dirt from them. "You are welcome," the witch chriped happily. Quickly she went through reactions she thought would be acceptable in this situation. "I am Rivka, might I inquire what your name may be?" She extended a single hand towards the boy (It was called a hand shake, humans did the funniest things) and waited patiently for him to reply.
She noted the look on his face. It was of confusion, correct? And his hair, it was blue. Rivka didn't remember seeing a person with blue hair before, but maybe it was something only boys did. He was undersized for a boy, she gathered, and he looked on the verge of panic, maybe. Something in the young witch told her to give him a hug (a friendly embrass she had seen a few natives do) however she didn't think that would socially accepted upon just meeting him.

"It's Luca. Luca Velvet." He looked at her hand and streached out his to shake hers. He was wearing black fingerless fingerless gloves. He shook her hand quickly and started to walk away towards where he thought that he would find his stuff. "See you around."
Luca was going to transfer all his stuff to his doorm. He really really hoped that he didnt have to room with anyone that would cause his life misery.
On the south side of the building by the pool there were several girls hanging out. Obviously they were used to the routine of the school. They werent worried about their doorm or where their classes were located. They had time to be with eachother before school started in a couple of days. Lisell was with a group of Light elves. It was the usual group she had always been seen with.
The group was debating wether they should get into the pool or just sit out on the ledge and tan. They were all laughing with eachother and having fun while ignoring the underclassmen.

Rivka smiled as the boy took her hand and she paid careful attention to his gloves. She had never seen a specimen like Luca before and she was very intriged by his behavior and contenance. Then he started to walk away. "Wait!" Rivka called after him. "We onlyl just met each other. Is it not the polite thing to do to continue talking with a new friend?" She was following him now, like a little puppy. "I have a few questions for you as well! Such as, why is your hair blue? How did you get it that way? Why are there no fingers on your glove? Does that not defeat the purpose?" She spoke while barely taking breaths between her sentences. She liked this small boy.
Malcom Desch had noticed the group of light elves. It was hard for any red-celled American boy to not notice the group of extremely beautiful girls in swimsuits. He especially noticed Lisell. She was known around the campus for being a snob against other students who didn't live up to her standards. And something about that personality trait made her very attractive. Maybe it was because it was similar to his own? Maybe they had a deep psychological connection. Two Choleric personality types would rule the school was an iron fist.
He had spoken to her before, they were in the same class after all, so he had absolutly no problems walking right up to her and her group of friends and sitting down. He was very confident in the way he walked because he was attractive and he knew it. "Spot any fresh meat?" He asked casually looking at her from behind the rims of his glasses.

Luca was starting to get weirded out. "Your not from around here are you?" HE stated. "I think friendship takes a little longer..." Luca stopped talking mid-sentence. Why would he deny friendship to someone that was freely offering it. She didnt seem like she was out to get him, but thats what happened last time.
Last year he thought that a guy wanted to be his friend, but he ended up using him instead. Luca wasnt exactly chipper with other people around the school after that. He avoided everyone if possible.
He wasnt going to let this girl get to close to him and Luca definetly wasnt going to let her use him like the last "friend" did. "I cut the fingers off so its easier to pick things up. It still keeps my palms warm tho."
Rivka probably didnt know it yet, but Luca was always cold. A chill air followed him wherever he went and unfortunatly Luca was not used to it yet. Sometimes when he breathed you could see it, but that only seemed to happen when he got angry, which he hardly ever did. He was more scared than anything.
--
Lisell smirked at Malcom as he approached her group. "Of course I spoted alot of newbies." She laughed. "I swear some of the girls dont understand what fashion even is." Lisell Looked over at a girl that was on the side of the pool. The girl obviously heard her and it was obvious that Lisell was talking about her. The group of friends giggled. Most of the girls there were in love with Malcom. He was known for his looks after all, but Lisell was not in love with him.
SHe had thought about it for a while, but decided that she would eventually end up with her own kind and she would keep her blood pure, but that didnt mean that she couldnt have a little fun along the way. There was definetly an attraction to Malcom, but she wasnt going to be easy to get. After all they had been playing this game since freshman year.
"Are you going to play with us." Chirped Lisell. "We're going to play beach volleybal in the pool." She chimed in a way that made the whole event sound like tons of fun... or mischeif.

Rivka watched the boy with interest as he spoke, batting her eyelashes and twiddling with the magazine that was still in her hand. "Correct." She said with a sweet smile. "I am from a land very distant to here." The witch took a moment to process what the boy was saying. "I do not understand. Is not the 'handshake' a form of accepting a friendship?" She pursed her lips and looked to the boy, he was about the same height she was, maybe she should shrink a bit? Girls were supposed to be shorter than boys, correct? She looked at his gloves with interest and took his hand in her own to study it more closely. "Oh, I know what friendship is!" She suddenly exclaimed and she leaned in and kissed him squarely on the lips...
Malcom chuckled as the beautiful elf insulted the lounging girl. She had so much power and he loved it. He was very aware that many of the girls were captivated by him and he also knew that sweet Lisell was only playing a game with him, and he was enjoying it. "Volleyball, huh?" He mused as he cracked his back and fingers. "That sounds smashing with a lovely group of ladies like yourselves." Malcom gave them all a dashing smile before quickly taking off his shirt (he did it in such a way that everyone would notice and look at his well toned body) and reaching for Lisell. Before she could react he had her in his arms and had made a jump for the pool...

Luca's eyes widened with pure shock and he fell backwards into a wall. He caught himself before he fell all the way to the ground. "No no, the handshake will do just fine." He pulled his hood over his head and walked away really really fast as to avoid eye contact with Rivka and anyone around him. He kinda stumbled on his way out one of the doors. He so despratly needed some time to calm down.
That was his first kiss. He had been kissed. A girl Kissed him. How in the world did she think that that was what friends did. Somehow Luca didnt think that that would be the last he ever saw of Rivka. After all she probably needed help with her way around the school and he was probably the only friend she had right now. With Rivkas attitude and lack of social knowledge she might not survive Heltwood.
--
Lisell let out a cheerful scream as she hit the water. "Malcom!" She exclaimed playfully. The rest of the girls got in the water slowly seeing as it was quite cold. One of them had a beach ball ready. "You jerk." She laughed, getting really close to him and touching his chest as to push him away. All was done with a very flirtatious attitude.
She fixed her bright blonde hair and stood next to malcom in the chest high water. She stuck her tongue out at him.
To some of the girls on the side line that would dare not ask to play they thought it was weird that she would stick her tongue out at a guy that was on her team. Some of them got up and left. They didnt want to deal with Lisell and her attitude. Plus if they accidently did something wrong while in the pool they would regret it for the rest of their lives.
It was a widely known fact that Lisells father was apart of the counsel of Elves. It was quite odd actually. Elves were known to be very respectable race. They never did many violent things unless they had to for the good of the people. They had been constantly terrorized by demons and therefore bred some of the elves to be fighters to defend their home from such evil creatures.

Rivka was surprised when the boy jumped away from her. He was very cold, she could tell that from his lips, so she now understood the need for gloves however she was still baffled by the strange boy. She had seen images of males and females kissing everywhere, wasn't the that right thing to do? Luca was retreating very quicky and Rivka didn't have enough time to stop him before he got away. "Oh drat," she muttered to no one. "I thought we were very good friends. Maybe I did something wrong?" The young witch again turned to the flimsy book in her hands and studied the pages while standing in the middle of the hallway. Page after page were pictures of males and females kissing and 'flirting' so she believed it to be socially acceptable. Maybe she should go look for him and ask what she did wrong?
Malcom was glad for the bit of flirting that Lisell was doing with him and he was sure people were looking at them with lust. They were a power couple, well, they would be when she stopped playing hard to get. Actually, it wasn't really that Malcom wanted to date her, it was more that he craved the power the two of them would have. And it helped that she was hot. "Don't stick out your tongue at me unless your ready to back it up, sweets," he said with a flirtatious grin. That was about the time that the others got up and left the pool area. So much power in one little girl. "Well, shall I serve first?"

Luca went to his door where his stuff was sitting still in bags. He couldnt really beleive what happened to him. He took in a deep breath and started unpacking while analyzing the situation. He didnt have alot of stuff to put away. Just a few sets of clothing, school supplies and his staff.
Oh his staff. 'Your starting to become such a responsible young man' said his father. Luca liked the comment, but not the fact that his dad put him in charge of all souls on campus right after that. If anyone died, it would be up to Luca to take their soul to the other side to await judgement. Not something he would want everyone to see. "Hey guys look I'm the grim reaper!"
Luca started to think of home, which was in a whole other realm. Then he thought about Rivka. The only way Luca knew about the humans was because he could watch them from his realm, but Rivka probably knew nothing about them. The reapers had completly different customs so it was probably the same deal with her. Luca started to feel bad for ditching out on Rivka. He would have to explain the traditions and cumstoms to her.
Luca marched out of his room and headed for where he last say Rivka. When he finnaly did find her he dove behind a trashcan. "All that bravery for nothing." He told himself.
--
Lisell Shook her head. "No I am serving. I wouldnt want the other team to score right off the bat." She took the light inflatable ball before Malcom could say anything and she served it over the net. The game had begun. Lisell and Malcom were very competetive. Even when it came down to simple things that didnt matter.
Lisell didnt mind the competition because she usually won. Deep down she kept thinking that Malcom was letting her win most of the time but she didnt care. When it came down to it she had something to playfully rub in his face whenever she could.
Lisell was a pro at observing Malcom without him actually knowing that she was doing it. If he ever found out then it would be the end of her. She laughed as the ball came back to their side of the net and they both fought for the ball.

Rivka was hard at work studying the glossy pages of the magazine in her hands. What had she done wrong? Did she need to, er, apologize? That’s what humans did when they did something incorrect, correct? Each page had a different glimpse of the human ‘pop culture’, and then she found it. There was a single picture of a woman dressed in dark colors and torn clothes. This reminded her of Luca! Maybe that was what was wrong! She wasn’t dressed like him! In all the pages of her magazine she saw people who looked alike together. Rivka looked at her clothes, they were blue. Quickly she muttered something under her breath and her clothes turned midnight black. It still wasn’t enough though! She studied the picture again and the sleeves on her shirt grew longer and now had rips running along the seams. Her shorts were now tight pants with a thin chain coming from one of the pockets (where did it lead to? Humans had such strange fashion choices). Almost done. Rivka returned to the picture in her magazine. The woman had dark colors around her eyes (how she did that, Rivka had no clue) and with a few flutters of her eye lashes a smear of black lining appeared.
It was at that time that she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Luca? She turned to face him, eager for him to accept her new fashion, but he was gone…
Malcom was perfectly fine with Lisell taking the first serve, whatever made her feel better about herself. However, when the ball was served he had a serious countenance as he waited for it to be passed back. If there was one thing Mr. Malcom liked, it was coming out on top. The only exception to this was when he allowed Lisell to beat him in their friendly competitions, she was a hot girl and she knew he was the manlist man she was ever going to find so he saw no need to win every time. If anything, it just proved what a great guy he was.
A return hit made it over the pool net and Malcom dove for it, splashing water on the bystanders as he hit it back over the net with pure power. Him and Lisell were a great team and he needed to show her that. His glasses were covered with water now and he shook out his hair dramatically (for the pretty girls watching of course) before getting his game face back on and preparing for another return.

Luca watched from behind the trashcan as she changed. It was magic of course. not something that was new to him. He sat back agaisnt the wall next to the can. He had to face the fact that he was scared of everyone. Even if they were nice he was scared of them.
He just sat normally and spread his legs out in front of him. His hood was on his face, but his wings were against the wall. He had spindly stick like wings that only grew feathers when he preformed magic, which he never did so his wings were always stick like things that bumped and poked and ripped everything it touched.

Lisell bit her lip and smiled everytime the ball came to their side. The third time the ball came to her side she ran into Malcom so that she could get the ball from him, but he didnt go anywhere. Of course her small lightweight body wouldnt be able to move him, but it was worth a try.
The Ball eventually found its way to the water on the other side. They had scored a point. "Yes!" Shouted Lisell. She moved her hair to a ponytail so that her shoulders could be seen. She was of course in a tiny bathing suit and was going to show herself off. She had learned this ritual when she came to earth. Her own people wore long dresses and didnt show lots of skin, but here she quickly learned that skin is what attracts the opposite sex.
After she was done fixing her hair she smiled at malcom and then went back to focusing on the game. Oh she had him wraped around her little finger.

Rivka had spotted Luca in his little hiding spot behind the trash can. It wasn't like a trash can could really hide a person, especially when they were sitting like he was. Slowly she moved over to him and sat on top of the trash can so she was looking down at him. "Salutaions, friend!" She chirped with her usual smile. Her beaming face contridicted the dark clothes and make up she wore. "We can be friends now for I have become similar to you!" The magazine was now safely tucked in her pocket (along with the rest of her belongings) and she was prepared for her friendship with Luca to take off in a wonderful rainbow of happiness and giggles...
Malcom of course couldn't be moved by the thin girl, he was a manly guy after all. "It's cute how hard your trying, babe," he chuckled after they had scored a point and Lisell had given off a scream of victory. He watched her as she played with her hair. Her shoulders were so smooth and... He shook the thought out of his head. The elf was messing with him and he knew it and his domiant nature wouldn't allow him to be so easily distracted by her shoulders. Even if they were extremely smooth...
Oh that smile. As soon as Lisell smiled at him he knew what she was thinking. She was thinking that she had him just like that. He chuckled to himself. She demanded so much power out of everyone around her. Maybe there was an unconscious message there. Lisell probably had desires that lead to her act the way she did wether it be sex or violence or, well there wasn't really much else to a Freudian. For now he would play along, but he was going to have to remind her sooner or later that he was still the alpha male...

A small pale blue orb floated down from the sky, just barely noticeable as it's own color blended into the sky. With a sudden flash of light, two people stood in the spot where the orb had vanished. A small girl of only about 4'11", with long blonde hair and eyes as blue as the sky. She wore a white dress with blue trim at the bottom and down the middle. She wore a sort of coat or jacket layered over the dress with dark blue, almost black leggings underneath with white boots. She looked around curiously at the buildings and everything in the area around this so-called school that she would be attending.
A man stood next to her, his medium length blonde hair covered one half of his face where a narrow green eye gazed out at the surrounding area. He was a lot taller, around 6'3" and had pure white wings on his back. He was dressed in a slightly more modern style of dress. In fact, he was wearing a sort of business suit, and he bent down to talk to the smaller girl. "Ariana, I will be leaving you here. This is the last school you will be attending before you return to the Order to start training properly as a Guardian. Will you be alright?" He asked.
Ariana looked around a little bit more and then turned to the taller man with a bright smile. "Yes, Adrian, I think I shall be fine." She replied, holding her hands together, almost as if in prayer. "Will I be able to learn how to travel the way you do?" She asked, speaking of the orb they had arrived in. She could feel his unease and frowned slightly as she looked away from him. She didn't need to hear him answer when his emotions were so easy to read. "Very well, Adrian. I suppose I shall see you when the school year is done." The man nodded and a moment later he was gone, a blue orb disappearing once more into the sky.
Ariana took a deep breath. "I wonder what I shall do first?" She asked quietly, speaking mostly to herself. She hoped that she would be able to find out where she was supposed to go.

Lazareth Kelturin Zarioth. His name had been called, and all eyes were on him as he slowly moved to the front of the large fiery room. He hated this place, Hell. All the fiery pits and the heat, it wasn't good for him. He stood before the largest of them, and got down on his knees, head bowed in respect. The Chimera Elders were displeased with him, and he knew it. What were they going to do, sentence him to life in torment in this fiery place? No, apparently not. Before he could say a word, darkness and shadows engulfed him, one of the common ways for demons to travel from place to place, especially Chimeras.
The next thing he knew, he was standing in the middle of some corridor in some building. As he looked around, he understood where he had been sent, another school. Lazareth glared at his feet, as if his glare could reach the Chimeras in the fiery spaces below. No, they would never know how angry he was with them, and the more he thought about it, the better it was. He was away from the heat, in a rather comfy hallway, though he would have preferred some swamp somewhere dark. Oh well, not worth crying over. Lazareth stuffed his hands into the pockets of his red trenchcoat and walked along the hallway. He looked out a nearby window and hissed angrily at the bright sunlight outside. He wasn't a vampire of any kind, but he still couldn't stand bright lights and he backed away into a dark corner. "What will those jerks think of next, huh?" He asked softly and closed his eyes for a moment.

Luca looked up at Rivka not reall knowing it was her and then a double take. "Hi again." He looked at her clothes more closely. They were like his, but for a female. "Uh yeah I guess that makes it easier to be friends when we dress alike." Luca started to get the hint that she knew what a clique was and probably how that worked. He got up from his space clumsily and took a few steps back from the girl. "Please dont kiss me again." He asked. "For now you should just stick with saying hello and not touching me." He looked at her face to make sure that she got the idea. If anyone was going to teach this damsel it was going to be him. Everyone else at the school would propably never talk to her.
--
Lisell was a little dissapointed that he was resisting her. Of course if he gave in to temptation its not like anything would ever happen.
They played for a while longer and then Lisell started to get bored. "Its lunch time. Lets go eat something." Her friends slightly agreed with her. They loved hanging out with Malcom and they would rather play a game of volleyball with him than eat with him. When they ate together they only got a few words in anyway. Lisell was always talking about stuff to him. All of them wondered why she didnt have a boyfriend. She was one of the most beautiful girls on campus. After all she was an elf and they were known for their beauty.
"Come on Malcom." She laughed. "Your paying for food for all of us." She joked. It was a very strong suggestion, but always put in a joke form so that he didnt feel pressured to buy everyone food. It was only going to be Lisell and three of her friends anyway. The other two had their own mates to worry with and they usually bought their own food.

Rivka watched as Luca stood up and backed away. “Was it not enjoyable?” She asked when he told her not to kiss him again. “Is that not what all males and females do when they are friends?” This world was very strange still, but Rivka was more than open to learning all the unique traditions that the culture had to offer. “What is acceptable, friend?” She continued as she stood up and closed the gap between them. “I am eager to learn!” Her eyes were shining with the unnatural blue hue she had taken on and her teeth were a blinding white. She had taken her features from an airbrushed magazine cover after all.
It was at that time that she noticed a chill in the air. Not the chill that Luca seemed to give off, this one was more in her soul. She quickly turned to locate the source of the uneasy aura and that’s when she saw him. A boy was standing a bit farther down the hall. He just cringed away from the open window, or the light coming from it. Did that mean he was a… vampire? Her eyes hardened into an icy glare and it was almost as though there was no one else around but that boy…
Malcom was happy with the idea of getting lunch. He was a boy and he loved eating almost more than he loved showing off for pretty girls. “Lunch sounds splendid, especially accompanied by such lovely ladies,” He turned to the girls on the other side of the net and winked a wink that would make any woman swoon. He looked back to Lisell, hopefully she was getting the idea that he was going to play with her too. “Shall we all head to the dining hall?” The boy was already out of the pool (in the most dramatic way possible to attract the most looks) and was seductively putting his shirt back on while shaking out his hair and drying on his glasses. “Of course it’s on me,” he chuckled. “What kind of gentleman would I be if I made beautiful woman pay for themselves?” Malcom had his most charming smile on, it was so good in fact, that it was almost impossible to tell that he was merely playing with them.

Ariana looked around and tried to grab the attention of a few people, but everyone walked by her. With a sigh, she looked at the ground and walked towards the nearest building. "It seems the people here do not like outsiders." She said softly as she wandered into a building. "I wish I knew which way I am supposed to go." She muttered, her hands clenched together in front of her.

Lazareth opened his eyes, revealing the blood red irises, and looked up. There seemed to be a girl and a boy a distance away in the same corridor. His mouth twitched slightly as he braced his hands against the wall behind his back. With that slight support, he lifted himself onto his feet, staring at the girl who seemed to be glaring at him. He narrowed his eyes for a moment and he sighed, walking over. "Do you have a problem or something?" He asked, stopping in the middle of the hall, a good four feet away from her. His tone suggested he was bored, and probably tired.

"Its not that it didnt..." Luca thought back to the very quick moment. Was there any enjoyment? "No its not something that friends do. It is NOT what they do at all. You have to be more than friends for that." He had a very soft voice. Nothing that came out of this guys mouth was ever in a mean or demanding tone.
Luca noticed her getting closer and closer and he put his hands on her shoulders and slightly pushed her back so he could have some space. He was just about to go on a tangent when Rivkas mood completly changed. He looked in the direction of her glare and saw what she was looking at.
His soul was nasty. It was a black greyish color that reaked of pure sin. Luca backed away as he came up and started questioning them. Luca looked at the guys eyes with his deep blue ones. He didnt like his soul at all.

Lisell smirked when the other girls giggled. She wouldnt giggle at his charms thats for sure. She twisted the water out of her hair and continued to the girls locker room where she had her dry stuff. She had to do more than put on a shirt.
When she was done she came out in a longsleeve half shirt and jeans. Her friends were dressed in a similar style. "Come on. Lets go." The pack was on the move. "Malcom." She looked over her shoulder at Him. "What books did you read over the summer for that one teachers homework?" She changed the subject to school. Something about how smart Malcom was was attractive to her.

Rivka thought she might hurl when the boy approached her. He certainly looked like a vampire, however he didn't seem to act like one. If he was in fact a blood-sucking leech, he would have been driven mad from the scent of her magical blood (at least that's how all the others responded).
"What are you?" She demanded with her thick accent. That's when she started to curse at the boy in another language before biting her lip. She wanted to leave his very presence, or make him leave her's. "You're eyes are red, you are a vampire, correct?" There was nothing nice about her tone and he didn't even notice what Luca had been saying to her. All that mattered was that one boy. And she despretly wanted to use magic to slay him.
Malcom waited unpatiently for the girls to come back. His hair was now drying and his shirt was soaked from the water on his body, but he thought it made him look even sexier than he already was. "Well, you didn't have to dress up for me," he started at he stared at Lisell's bare navel. She should have known that she was going to get herself in trouble one day if she kept dressing like that. He followed the pack of beautiful elves and was lost in his own thoughts until Lisell asked him a simple question. A simple question that meant he could show off a bit.
"I read a few psychology books to keep my mind in shape, and then I caught up on all the Horrors of the Occult. It was about three volumes for my necromancy class, but it was such a good read that I found every other book by that author and read them all too, but don't worry, I still had time to work out my other muscles too," Dramatically he flexed his arm and raised his eyebrows. "Wanna feel?"

Rivkas mood change scared Luca more than the boy did. He started to back up out of the situation. "Sorry. I'm going to... go now." He headed towards the dining hall. His tummy was rumbling anyway. Luca assumed that when Rivka was done doing whatever that she would come and find him again. He wasnt going to stay and become enimies with the new kid.
He started down the hall only to notice that Lisell and her group was headed in the same direction. Luca grumbled to himself at the sight of Malcom. That boy was the root of all his problems. Malcom was so much more taller, attractive, smarter than Luca could ever hope to be and Malcom definetly knew this. To him Luca was an easy target.
--
Lisell listened intently as Malcom gave a detailed list of how he was reading alot and found it amazing that it ended up with him flexing. "Lol you must have had alot of time to work out Malcom." She of course felt his muscles with her delicate hands. The girls beind her swooned.
"I was stuck interpreting scrolls over the summer from Old elvish into New elvish." She giggled. They were walking down the hallway to the dinning hall and out of the corner of Lisells eye she spotted Rivka talking with a demon. She gave a disgusted looking face to both of them and kept on walking.

Ariana turned a corner and immediately fell onto her ass from bumping into a tall guy. "Ow.." She muttered and then looked up, staring at the guy in front of her (Malcom if I need to be clear). She stood up on her own and lightly dusted off her white dress. "Please excuse me, I'm sorry I bumped into you." She said with a kind of nervous smile. "Umm, would you be kind enough to direct me towards the Administration Office? I fear I'm terribly lost." She asked when she noticed a group of beautiful girls with him. Elves, if she remembered correctly, from what the Guardians had told her, she would meet many different kinds of creatures and races at this school. She stared blankly at one girl in particular, the most beautiful of the bunch and she bit her lip casting her eyes on the floor at her feet.
***
Lazareth looked at the girl like she was crazy. Him, a vampire? What? He shook his head and shrugged, his hands still in his pockets. "Uh, no. I'm not a vampire, at least, I don't think I am." He sighed. "I'm a... demon. A Chimera to be exact. A demon with three different demonic bloods." He bit the corner of his lip. "Well, I guess I might have some vampire blood mixed in there somewhere, but I'm not really a vampire." He paused and smelled the air, this girl did smell really good, magical almost.
