*STOP* Before you take another step into the thread, please understand that this is not just a fandom-based thread. Of course, there will be squeeing fangirls and the cannon boys but here we are more interested in OC interaction and story development. Let's work together to throw the boys into new and exciting situations!

Rules are a necessity:
1 - Follow all of Menewsha's general rules.

3 - Character profiles should be sent via private message to myself.

Once they have been reviewed, I'll add them to the first page here and then you're free to post. ^.^

4 - If you need to retire for the night or to go to school - Try to take your character out of the situation if he/she is interacting with a group, so that they can continue on.

5 - OOC is allowed, please place it in (parenthesis) either before or after your role play post. And please keep it to a minimum here.

6 - Up to two characters per person, please post as them in separate accounts if possible (your main and your mule) If not, then please remember to write in different colors for each character you play so that it is easier for us to keep track of them.

7 - If you want to use a picture for your character's profile, credit the artist if you did not draw it yourself. (An exception for this will be made for canon characters as we all know who created them)

You may NOT speak for another character out of your control and you also may not state what another person is doing. (God-modding) This may seem like a small thing but it can be quite an annoyance when someone decides how their actions are going to affect your character.

For instance: Say your character is running down a flight of stairs and is unable to control him/herself enough to stop when you see someone before you. You cannot state that you run right into them (because that would be taking away their choice of action, free will and reaction time, see?) The setting:

Only those with excellent social standing and those from filty-rich families are lucky enough to spend there time here at the elite private school: Ouran Academny. The Ouran Host Club is where the school's handsomist boys with too much time on their hands entertain young ladies who also have way too much time on their hands. Just think of it as Ouran Academy's elegant playground for the super-rich and beautiful.

Ouran is a massive school with several buildings. It better resembles a college than a high school. Nearly anything you could ever possibly want or need can be found on campus or nearby - and the rest... well, if you're rich enough to attend Ouran, there's a good chance you can find a way to get it, whatever it is....

The Host club itself meets in the academy's 3rd Music room - which they often deck out in whatever themes interest them at the moment - but the rest of the school is available to role play in. And considering the means most of the characters in this thread have, the entire world can be our playground. :)

Afanassii is tall, lithe and quite feminine in appearance. He has extremely long hair that trails down past his bottom; it is all red, save for his bang area which is pure white. personality:
Nassii is very curious and finds himself drawn to unique situations and people. He is in love with the idea of 'true" love and has a guilty pleasure of reading romantic novels. He has never been in love but he desperately wishes to be.

On another level entirely, he is a shameless flirt and he knows he is a good looking man. He's rather practiced at making ladies flock to his door but has never been able to find one interested in the "real" him.

history:
As suggested by his name, Afanassii is from Russia. He is tri-lingual and speaks Russian, English and Japanese. Of these languages, Japanese is his weak spot and this is the reason why he decided to go to school in Japan.

His family is very well-off and they insisted upon sending him to a prestigious academy. At first, he was opposed to coming to a hoity-toity place like Ouran, but upon hearing about the Host club, the "hopelessly romantic" side of him took over and he agreed to transfer.

He would like to become a host himself.
