"What kind of monsters are these people?" Tohru whimpered. "I don't know how I could possibly help." Raine looked smug suddenly. "If we can get this open, i can light a smoke and piss them off by being bored enough to take a smoke break. That should give you enough time to attack the wind evil. I'll back track and try to help the teacher." She caught his eyes. "This will work." "I hope." Tohru seemed frightened. "I'll try to stop the rain from pelting us as soon as this opens."

Matt pulled himself up into a kneeling position breathing heavily. Everything was getting very cold, he could even see his own breath. 'I've got to knock Keito away from her... but how?' He ran forward, getting pushed back every so often by the force of the water hitting him. As he ran he forced the metal around his shoes. Soon they had formed spikes so that he could stick into the ground, and progress without being forced to far backwards. "Come on Keito! I know you're in there!" He yelled over the howl of the storm. Now he was popping a shield up in front of him when he saw a wave. But still, he would get pushed back a couple feet.

Krista choose to just nod, and ignore the fact that Jai's mind was jumbled and didn't remember their other meetings as well. Things were rather hectic right now. That's when she noticed Azure. "Azure!"

"Krista! Oh thank god, you're alive!" he hugged her and than awkwardly stepped backwards away from her.

"We need your help." She said blushing. "This is Jai. He has a plan to save us all, but needs metal users. Can you help. " Than she noticed that Azure was shaking, and that his mask was melting to his face. "Oh no... You're hurt."

Azure caught her eyes, and waved it off. "I will help your friend Krista. And I will save you. Take care of yourself okay." He turned around and brushed off towards Jai. "Here as a recruit sir." He mock saluted. "What's the plan?"

Nyirko's mind was racing. If she was fighting Ren, she would use anything that resembled water to conduct the currents. Anything she saw would be an instant link to electrocution....She tried to keep her voice down so that the enemy couldn't hear her. "Don't let him see it. Surprise him. You have to surprise him." She wished more then anything that she could do something other then talk, that she had control of the power roiling inside of her. Before she got the chance to continue that line of thought, the man they had been fighting shot a bolt towards Ren, taking advantage of the lapse of fight.
Ny didnt think. She couldn't think. One of her metal fans that were always on her person flashed out of it's hidden sheath and was flying through the air to intersect the bolt. Somehow, she had enough unconscious control that her metal absorbed the energy as she watched. The sharpened weapon thunked into the ground on the other side of Ren, slicing into the ground. Her whisper was coarse. "Hurry.

Archen nodded. It was the best they could come up with. Taking a very, very deep breath, the arrogant kid's eyes flashed pearly white as he focused on something other then them. Suddenly, they could move as his skin paled considerally with the effort and the escape of his hidden well of force. His voice was entirely too weak but somehow held immense power. He was not just a cute little boy. "Hurry."
His deathly white eyes turned themselves upon the wind user, his face suddenly contorted in anger. I am of a royal line. I have more power then this. Chanting his mantra to himself, he began to mentally weave the net of air, the wind whipping around him to make his pale blonde hair fly ever more. He was trapped within the idiots bubble again but he did not have to move to take control of his element. And he had given Raine/Tohru enough time to do what she needed. And he knew the bubble did not encase her as it did him again. The wind user knew what the kid was doing and grew blue in the face as he tried to attack and interrupt the work. The Wind Weave was a powerful and dangerous spell, but too effective when complete.

(...let me know if that was a little too much for Archen...my brain wasn't working too great XD and the Wind Weave will be explained later if it's okay to keep it in....yeah, sorry if it's horrible and needs editing!!!! And sorry it took so long :/)

Raine's eyes flashed with admiration at the angry boy's powers. Than with a wink she flicked a cigarette out of her pack and stuck it to her mouth. Cupping a hand to stop the wind she lit it with a lighter and breathed in and looked off in the distance. "Wow, You people sure are pathetic." She yawned and fanned her mouth as if extremely bored. "Can't even keep me contained in a bubble or put out my cigarette." She laughed coldly. Go Tohru.

"Hey mister teacher!" She yelled waving happily over at Keito. Than she skipped off cigarette having been dropped as she re-took over her body. "That trick is so cool!!! Are you going to teach us how to make water people behind us?"

Keito seemed to smile slightly, leaning back against the tall creature that guided his movements. With a wink, the woman placed her hands over the instructor's shoulders and whispered to him. Her prompting brought a huge rush of water swirling up about Matt's feet, ripping against him as though to carry him away.
Onis was faring well, but he was still unable to gain much ground. A flicker of regret passed through Vincent's pale eyes as he lifted another rush of freezing water to crash down around the other male. This isn't what I want.

Sadly, a voice caught the elemental's attention. The woman guiding Keito hissed, and a rush of water came toward Tohru with the ferocity of a rushing river. Vincent's expression mirrored the creature's, and there was a moment when the only thing that ran through his mind was their battle. Kill.

Sayren nodded once, acknowledging Nyirko's suggestion. He wouldn't let the creature see his ice - and he would use the element of surprise. Just as he was preparing to do something, a bolt of energy flew toward him. The youth hardly had time to blink. A fan flew out to intercept the bolt . . . and buried itself in the ground nearby. He lifted a brow, but used the moment to strike back. He heard the hoarse whisper behind him, and it prompted him to be quick.
A large stalagmite of ice jolted up behind the creature, spearing it through the middle and lifting him into the air. Sayren's maroon eyes flashed with anger as more ice splintered out from the wound, cutting through as much of the enemy as possible.

Jaz widened her eyes, barely avoiding the rush of water that went after Onis. She slid by, trying to figure out how she could help. Instead of finding anything, she found herself pushed out of the room by the waves that the instructors fought with and against.
It brought Jai into view. "Jai!" Picking herself up, she glanced around the lobby . . . and then the text that Jai had sent a long while ago finally came in. Her phone buzzed lightly, but the metal user ignored it. Instead, she reached up to touch her lip piercing, forcing it to stay in shape. "This is insane!" She shot the others a glance, and mustered the best smile she could manage. "What's going on?"

(Awesome post Esmee. But I think when you went to catch Jaz back up you may have missed something :/ Jaijin post It's the last one on the last page. Maybe you didn't . But something isn't lining up in my head so just trying to figure it out.

Also .. to tired to come up with an epic battle reply to that... tomorrow. some cool stuff with Tohru and Raine hopefullys)

((:sweat: Well, Jaz was with the teachers, and Jai was looking for her. She didn't reply to his text (or didn't see it, possibly), but she ended up running into him on the way away from the water. Jai and Kazu are fighting, so Jaz interfered. :sweat: Maybe I did something wrong? :lol: I can't see what I should fix.))

(Jai is inside of the dorms with Azure, Krista, and Kel, trying to find metal users to do some defense thing. And Kazu ran off to battle people than freaked when he saw it was more than 1 and turned tail and fled.)

Tohru screamed bloody murder before Raine's voice echoed in her mind. "Together."As if they could see the wave in slow motion they took a deep breath and side stepped using a combination of their air and water elemental powers. They did a small spin bringing a knife like force down through the water, and than thrusting their arms behind them to make the wave crash to the ground behind them. "Now Mr. Keito, that isn't very nice you know." Raine waggled her finger at the possessed teacher before together the two moved to strike back.The water that had passed through them moved as they took control of it, spinning it around and shooting it right back at the witch controlling him. No longer was it a simple wave, but a jet stream.

Keito snarled, lifting an arm as though to block the water that jettisoned toward him. A thick sheet of ice appeared, channeling the water elsewhere. What little bit of water got around the blockade seemed to just linger a few feet from the instructor instead of attack.

His silver eyes met Tohru's. "You can't harm me without harming him," both Vincent and the creature controlling him spoke as one, their voices mingling in a strange harmony. "Is it worth it?" The water seemed to swell back, away from the girl that dared use the liquid against them.
Depriving her of the wet element, Keito motioned to pull all ice and water from the area, sending it back behind him quite a ways. Sadly, that was where Matt was. He was suffering another onslaught of waves and vicious bouts of water.

"OH please," Raine drawled in a bored tone, "You really think I'm that weak?" She twitched the end of her finger and flung the gallons upon gallons of water away from matt, and crashing down into the earth turning everything in the area to mud. Than she quickly moved into a punch with her right hand that sent a blast of air at Keito's side in an attempt to dislodge him from his leech.
The left hand that had broken through the water was weaving slowly back and forth at her side, slightly in front of her. It was slowly working away at the mud now beneath the leech's feet.

(its okay, mine too. I've got alot of things going on but want to at least keep the story going. AND ITS SO AWESOME )

Between the mental battle against Vincent and the physical battle against Tohru, the creature seemed to falter momentarily. Keito was knocked to the side with a hiss, and for a moment his silver eyes were clear. "Back away, witch!" He took advantage of Tohru's distraction with the mud instantly. Ice speared up around him, coming so hard and fast that the pale creature was instantly skewered.

A high-pitched squeal filled the air, and she wrapped her slender fingers around the crystal of ice that protruded from her chest. "Please," she whimpered, her legs collapsing beneath her, "don't leave me here to die! You don't know what it's like, being this powerful. I can't . . ." Too pained to continue, the wraith-like woman grimaced and looked down at the multiple shards of ice that had speared her legs and torso.

Keito slowly got to his feet, taking things slowly. In his hands were his glasses, which were looking a bit worse for wear. He slipped them on, frowning at the large crack that went through one lens. He ignored the woman's pleas . . . at first. Then his silver gaze was caught on hers, and he took a step toward her. Surely it wasn't so bad to help her. Even if it was to just end her misery. . . .

((:lol: SIREN! Look out! It's a friggin' ice-harpy! *laugh*))

Tohru cheered with relief. "We did it, we did it!" She grinned widely at the teacher who had sent ice through the woman as soon as he's been freed from her. "good job raine, that was awesome." She was looking to the side of her as if her split personality was standing there.

"Oy. You've got to be kidding me." Raine turned Tohru's attention to the teacher once again and walked up between them. "Hey, stupid. You were just possessed by her, remember." When he seemed to be staring at her eyes still she slapped him across the face, with another blast of air to break his eye connection with her.
"Hey Mr. other teacher who was getting beat up. Can you come take care of this idiot?"

Matt Onis had felt frozen to the ground throughout the remainder of the battle. Every limb was stiff from all the running and battling he'd just been doing. Seriously. How could he be so out of shape. He laughed weakly as he stood stiffly to his knees. In the midst of battle he was imagining Melesha's voice lecturing him. Boy would she whip him into shape after this crisis was over. And he'd probably die from the workout. "Good work."
He was now stiffly walking over to his fellow teacher. "Hey Keito. Come on, we have to go help the other students instead of playing around with woman. Let's go." he turned the other man towards the dorms so that he couldn't see the siren leech... whatever she was anymore.

(I apologize if I took to much control over that. xD Now I need to remember what my other characters were doing...)

Raine walked between Keito and the elemental, and he frowned but attempted to push past her. That's when she slapped him, and Vincent jerked back in surprise. First it was anger that crossed his gaze, but then confusion. As his mind was reorienting itself, Matt moved over and turned him around. That was the break between them. Keito let out a sigh of relief, forcing himself to ignore the creature's wounded cries.
The instructor fixed his glasses, clearing his throat. "I appreciate what you did," he said, glancing to Raine with a wary look. She didn't seem . . . quite normal, by his standards. Still, she'd saved him. It was enough.

"You don't look good, my friend." Vincent glanced to Onis, patting his shoulder.

With everyone looking towards him for guidance and a plan he set up a screen to show them. It took a couple seconds to do so but it would make conveying his point all that easier. "Alright everyone listen up," he shouted over the crowd "Some of you know me others may not but i am here with orders from the teachers to have us students defend ourselves from the storm." Pulling up the shield, he heard some of the students laugh "You may laugh now but this shield may be our only hope of weathering this storm. I will need four other metal users aside from myself to construct the dome. Then i will need four water users to fill the inside with water and a couple earth users to encase the bottom of the dome with earth." Looking around at the faces of other students he saw aww and disbelief in his plan. "So can i get some volunteers, If i ignored your help before i am sorry for i was trying to find a suitable place to construct this dome." He looked at jaz with a help me please look.

Kazu just kept running from the arrows as he felt his powers build back up. That was fairly fast recharge, maybe if i spend it more wisely i can keep at my normal full potential for a lot longer. Turning around he charged towards the ice user.

The evil man laughed and pulled the string back reveling a much larger pointed arrow than before, "So you think you can attack me head on little boy?" He let the arrow fly and it exploded and formed a shower of ice shards headed towards kazu.

Thinking quickly he formed a shield of fire on his arm and charged forward melting the shards the were headed toward him. "I don't I can attack you head on," he yelled as he punched the man in the gut with a jet powered punch "I know i can" he yelled as the man went flying into the air. Knowing he needed to find help as soon as possible because he probably only hurt the man slightly, kazu took off towards the dorms.

"It was nothing." Raine shrugged, before her eyes flicked back towards Archen. "Now to take on a bigger baddy than this little ice wimp here." She started to run off to see if she could help him out of that bubble trap.

Matt Onis grinned at his fellow colleague and friend. "You kicked my ass that's why."

(Hmmm to have them realize Kazu and Archen need help or not. Seeing as Matt is tottally gonna collapse. xD)

Azure stepped forward. "I'll help." The metal mask on his face was still eating into him. The storm's powers were breaking through the defenses of the dorms as well.

Krista looked at Azure. If he's gonna die... Than I'm gonna help him out until the end. She stepped forward as well, "I'll do my best. My element is water."

(lol... so Apparantly as Raine and Tohru united i switched who had which powers... so combo power bonus... something. Also, i have added a new update. I think i have everything...)

Jaz nodded, flicking silver hair from her face. "You know I'm metal. And I'm game." By that time her piercings were all gathered in her hand, and her jewelry was in her pocket. She looked like a completely different person without the usual bits of metal. "Tiger, let's get this plan of yours into motion."

With a sheepish chuckle, Vincent shook his head. "I hardly recall it." As they walked, the instructor seemed to regain the energy he'd lost. His silver eyes flickered through the area as water kept a good distance from them. "Tohru!" He realized that the girl just darted off in another direction, and he frowned. Should he stay with Onis until the male was safe? He truly looked ready to collapse. It would be dangerous to bring Matt along. He wasn't a strong link to carry.

"Let's get you to the students. I'll come back for her." Frost began to drift in the air about them as Keito regained his power. He slid an arm under Matt's shoulders to offer him support as they walked. They weren't far from the others now. He wasn't about to let a friend falter or fall behind. "Melesha would have your ass for this, Onis."

Becca slowly stood from her place beside another student. "I-I am an e-earth student. I will volunteer my service." Her wide brown eyes made her hair look darker than ever, and she looked as though she'd been doused by water. Everyone here did, really.
Trembling as she moved to stand beside Jaz, the girl swallowed thickly. "I-I just want the school to return to normal."

"It's okay. No need to recall my brutal thrashing." He chuckled and started towards the building. Limping slightly from being so stiff. after all, he was rather frozen and battered everywhere. But when Keito took his arm as if to help him walk he tried to shrug him off. "I'm not that bad." (Oh yes you are dude says Shadami)

Which immedietly turned into a flinch right after. "I know, trust me. I've already thought about how sore my ass will be when she hears about this."

(Shadami imagines Keladry in background going "NO ITS MINE!!!")

Jai looked around and noticed a few other students join in, a fourth and third year earth users, and two second year water users. Wow, this was kind of unexpected. "Alright, so metal users i will brief you on the shape of the dome seeing as it will require a lot of metal, we will need to bring it from the warehouse. Earth users you are good seeing as we will be surrounded by your element. Water users you will most likely have to fill it from the pipes below ground, once the dome is shaped i will help you locate them if you need help." Smiling towards jaz mainly, but making it look like he wasn't giving her to much attention. "Alright we will need roughly three tons of metal, between the three of us we should be able to lift it but i think the earth users could help us if we need it. Now lets get moving people."

Kazu was speeding away from where he had punched that idiot ice user, Perhaps he won't come back down for a while. This made kaze chuckle and noticed a group of students outside "Hey!" he yelled hopefully getting one of their attentions when an ice sheet formed in front of him. Kazu didn't have enough time to react and crashed going head over heals. "Where the hell did that come from..." Looking around he hoped a teacher would be close enough to help him fight this guy I really don't want to die but there is no way i can beat this guy.

The wretched scream that was cut short seemed to echo loudly as the electric man died, ice sprouting from his body. Nyirko’s stormy eyes seemed to stare at the man blankly as she watched him die. Death was not something new to her. They flicked to Sayren and she tried to give a smile but her body didn’t want to move, even to do such a simple gesture. She takes a deep breath and attempts to get up. Mandred was still out for the count and they needed to get him to a safe place. She grunts and falls back to the ground as a blast of hot air rushes over them from the nearby battle.

The explosion was large, going far into the air before coming back in, the sound almost deafening before regaining silence. All that could be seen was a large fire, flames of normal colors and duller grays. The area around the two fire users was now a flame and a figure could be seen walking through it, back towards the school grounds. Flames surrounded Melesha, her long black hair flying wildly around her as she walked away from the burning mess. The smell of blackened flesh permeated the air, flowing towards the school and across the lake as the wind picked up the scent. A charred and unrecognizable body was left in the center to burn in hell.
Fire danced around Melesha, touching her everywhere but seemed to be coming from her. Her eyes were pits of flames, no pupil to be seen. Her pale skin glowed in the light that penetrated the ever-growing darkness. She stopped next to Nyikro, Sayren, and Mandred. Her eyes turned to them and she spoke, her accent in full force and voice more level and calm then it should be. “If you can still move, get to the rest of the students and teachers. We have to make Light.”

Archen could hear Raine/Tohrun approach but he made no move that he recognized her there. He was concentrating on his magic, the Wind Weave that would cover the school grounds and hopefully work the way he was asking it to. His only thoughts were on the chant, and the one that hoped the girl would see that he really needed the powerful wind user distracted. The constant battering was starting to break though his concentration.

(I hope this is okay. If you want me to explain the thing that Melesha said, I can. I just figured it would something they all could do together against the Dark :XD Anyway, sorry it took so long!)

Sayren fell back against the ground behind him, resting his head on the hard-packed dirt without a thought. It's over. Or, that battle was. Shifting to lean on one arm, he pulled himself closer to Nyirko. He met her gaze for a while, seeing the relief in her eyes that was reflected in his own expression. The youth started when the explosion rocked them, pushing him back to the ground.
He didn't bother getting back up. When a voice sounded nearby, his blue eyes opened slowly. "Let's go," he said, forcing himself to stand. He was weary, but not incapable of moving.

The dark-haired youth grabbed Nyirko's arm, wrapping it about his neck and shoulders as he lifted her. Sayren knew he wouldn't have the strength to carry her, but he could help support her. "Try to walk," the ice elementalist whispered, taking a few steps forward. He knew this was going to be difficult, but they had to keep moving. They didn't want another creature intercepting them.

Nyirko let Sayren help her up and support her weight. She shook her head at his words and managed to croak out, "What about Mandred? We can't just leave him here." He helped save my life. She left out the last part, thinking it wasn't something that needed to be said aloud. After all, Ren had helped save her life as well. Her grey eyes looked at Ren, hoping he understood that. He couldn't be that icy.

Nodding to Jai, Jaz did everything she was told. She was going to dedicate every bit of her energy to saving the school. We will not perish here. Gritting her teeth, the metal user concentrated. She was going to help form this thing and save the students. Jaz wanted to see everyone back in a safe environment . . . and she wanted to see Jai relaxed once again.

Mandred. Looking into Nyirko's gray eyes, the ice elementalist finally nodded. "I'll get him," he said, wondering how on earth he was going to help them both. The worst part about his decision was the hesitation he felt. Not only did Sayren not enjoy the company of others, but he tended to give less than a decent effort to keep them safe. There was a first time for everything, he supposed.
Supporting Nyirko's weight wasn't difficult. The navy-haired male narrowed his eyes, glancing around until he spotted Mandred's form. With a deep breath, he summoned a bit of ice to lift the boy into the air, carefully drawing him closer. By the time Mandred was beside them, Ren felt his energy levels dropping drastically. He couldn't get Mandred to the school while carrying Nyriko, yet they were both too weak to make it on their own. There was no way he was about to leave them behind, either.

"Always a challenge," Sayren growled, gritting his teeth and forcing his powers to carry Mandred after them. They needed to move quickly. "Let's go." He wasn't sure how long he could carry the boy. . . .
