Kealie jumped when Marcus vanished and reappeared at the bottom of the steps. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest. Key secretly wished this place was around when she was a kid. She was lost for the majority of her life. She would sleep through the day and wake up at night feeling perfectly fine. When she was in college she would scare her roomates by accident. She would often read books in the moonlight. Her roomate would wake up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom and see her sitting in pitch dark. Kealie knew it had something to do with her odd shadow abilities but she was never too sure. The headmaster had confirmed her thoughts. Kealie looked around at the students. Some of them would be her's soon. With one look you could tell them apart since they didn't have their unifroms yet. The Moon students looked dead on their feet. The sun was still shining brightly and the night was a long time away. She giggled and was secretly praising caffiene.

Although it did have it's draw backs. When she crashed, she crashed hard. She would sleep for hours on end and wake up with killer head aches. Who knew you could get hung over from too much coffee and soda pop. Key was beginning to gaze off into la la land and she shook it off and begun paying attention to the small meeting that was quickly gathering more students.

Markus looks at the girl that asked him about the skirts in the uniforms. "No you do not have to wear skirts in the uniform, you have a choice between pants and skirt. I did that because I know some girls dislikes skirts" He says putting his hands behind his backs "Now shall I show you where you're going to living for the rest of the year?" he says as he starts walking to the courtyard of the dorms. "Does anyone have any more questions? They can be about anything"

Codette breathed a sigh of relief. She was happy that she didn't have to ask about the uniforms, and happier that she got an option between the two. Codette never really could choose between pants or a skirt. It all depended on her mood. She followed the dean amidst the throng of students. As they walked she slipped her hair into a high pony tail. Codette looked around, quickly falling in love with the scenery.

Ryuu was quite amused by the recent question,though shrugged it off and followed the dean with the rest of the students.He noticed the girl infront of him slip her hair into a high pony tail and smiled "Girls.." he thought,Ryuu sometimes couldn't understand why they needed to tie their hair up when they look fine the way they are.Ryuu's mind began to wander off until the dean called out if anybody had more questions I quickly raised my hand and called out " Do we have co-ed rooms? like do we have roomates or do we have our own rooms?"

The group started outside and Kealie decided against it. Being indoors in the daytime was completely different than being outdoors. It caused her a lot of physical pain. She tried not to venture outside unless it was absolutely needed. Now that her classroom was set up she didn't have much to do anyway. She had a few questions for the dean but they could always be asked at a later time. Key began to walk towards the teacher's rooms. When she reached her room she collapsed in exhaustion. She didn't even have it in her to get up and take off her shoes, she simply kicked off her shoes. The clattered loudly onto the floor. She winced at the noise. Her caffiene was wearing off on her. Key groaned and closed her eyes. She hoped that she wouldn't be needed for very long. She still wasn't clear on everything that was expected of her as a teacher. With that last thought she fell alseep.

"Yes you will be sharing room. Girls with Girls, Boys with Boys" Markus says as he gets to the dorm buildings. "Sun students please go into the building with the Sun and Moon students please go into the building with the Moon" He says standing between the 2 buildings "Please unpack and get dressed into your uniforms" he says walking off "Meet me in the grand dining hall in 30 minutes, bring your student handbook and please don't be late and i'll answer more questions there." he says and then vanishes.

Ren sighed, dragging her one medium sized knapsack into her dorm. She noticed that she was the first one to be unpacking, and quickly took that time to change into the pants version of her uniform that was provided for her on her bed. "How did they know my size?" She mused out loud, shaking her head.

She quickly unpacked a brush, brushing her shiny dark brown short hair back into a manageable and sophisticated look. She usually preferred the "I just rolled out of bed" look, but didn't think the Dean would take to kindly to that kind of neglect. Making her way to the bathroom, she took a look around the hall. She was wondering if there weren't more Sun students, she really didn't see many. Maybe she had come too late or something?

She figured she was just being paranoid, and started brushing her teeth. She knew boys would be there, and she wouldn't mind catching an eye or two while getting orientated. She bypassed makeup, as she normally did, just relying on her natural beauty to appeal to someone, or not. She wasn't one of those girls who HAD to have a guy, it was just a nice bonus.

As she finished her routine of getting ready, she studied herself in the mirror. Her bright green eyes stared back at her, and Ren looked to see if anyone was watching. She appeared to be alone, so she brought up her energy. She focused on her appearance, and since it was only slight changes she was making, she didn't have to worry about losing too much energy and crashing. Suddenly her eyes weren't just green, but green with sunny gold flecks in them like glitter. Not only that, but her dark brown hair had gotten much longer, and wavy, with blond highlights. Yeah she might have been overdoing the "sun" bit, but she was very proud.

"This hair matches my uniform better" She said to herself, trying to justify her unneeded physical change. Going back to her dorm, she grabbed the Handbook and went out the door, heading toward the dining hall. However, she got distracted watching the moon students, and was just stood at the cross hall between the moon and sun students.

Codette made her way to her room. She was a bit concerned over the ratio of 'Sun' to 'Moon' students but shrugged it off. Opening her door she just looked in. Codette had never lived in a dorm before. This was really exciting for the only child. She giggled and dropped her bags onto her bed. She hoped that her roommate didn't mind that she took the right side of the room. She really hoped there were days that they would be allowed to wear normal clothes. She really loved some of her own outfits. She picked up her uniform, and finally decided, although the pants would be fine, the skirt would allow her to show off the moon tattoo on her ankle. Getting dressed, she slipped on a pair of black high heels that had a discrete tiny red heart on the back of her foot. With a giggle she went to the bathroom and brushed her hair into glittery red waves, and applied only black eyeliner and some white eye shadow along her eyebrow line. A quick slip of dark red lip stain and she was good to go.

Codette gave a small shiver. The day light outside was really starting to play havoc on her cheeriness. She really hated mornings, but could put on a smile and fake it. But with the stress of moving to a new school in a day, she was feeling worn down.

Standing in her room, for a brief second, she allowed her wings to come through, the black and silver wings leaving tiny sparkles below them. She willed her wings back to being invisible, and picked up the glitter. Just the sight made her feel better. Codette lightly sprinkled some on her hair, careful not to get any on her uniform, and put the rest in a bowl for later use.

She walked out of the room and waited for any other moon student to finish. She really didn't want to face the entire scene alone...

Finx hugged her brother good by and walked into the sun building. It felt strange to be with out her brother but she would have to manage.
Meanwhile her brother was skimming the faces of all the girls wondering if he could get one to be his girlfriend. He hadn't seen any boys yet. *poor finx* he thought *shes going to be all alone this year.* He then walked into the moon building with his hands in his pockets.

Ryuu saw that there seemed to be more moon students than sun, though he shrugged it off since his curiosity always leads him to some type of trouble. He made his way into the moon building, He glanced around to his fellow moon students and sighed."Wonder if any of them will be fun" he thought since most of the moon students seemed dead or drowsy . He walked down the hallway with his backpack slung over his shoulders towards his dorm.
Ryuu entered his dorm and tossed his backpack to any of the beds, He quickly changed into the uniform provided for him. Ryuu wore a gray and black checkered undershirt since he didn't like buttoning the collar.He Tossed his hair around for a bit until it looked the way he wanted, grabbed his handbook and walked out of his dorm. Ryuu didn't really like being alone so he went back to the place where the dean parted with the students, In between the Sun and Moon buildings he waited for more students

ALix had been at the back the entire time, until the dean said they could go into their dorms to change. He ran in at that point and got changed. He had gotten his letter a few days ago and he left right away. HIs hand had been itching and when he took of his glove, which he used to cover the mark on his arm, and saw a Moon on his plam at teh reverse of the spherical smybol of his Mark. He got changed into the uniform, opting for the closed collar, and looked at himself in the mirror and n oticeed that he, unlike many of the moon student's didn't look dead. He knew why he had inadvertedly been feeding off of everyone's anxiety and excitement. He was feeling nothing. It always happened when he "fed". He still nedded human food, but not as much or as often.

Ren stood at the cross points, staring wide eyed at all the hustle and bustle of the students. A young man entered her view, he was teal haired, with golden eyes. Ren wondered if she was in his way, so she moved off to the side, muttering a hasty "Sorry"

She watched him for a moment, trying to silently guess whether he was a sun or moon student. His personality seemed that of a Sun student, but she thought he had come from the Moon dorms. Her curiosity got the best of her, and she tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me, and I'm sorry if I'm prying, but are you a Moon student?" She asked, clasping her hands around her back. "I don't mean to be nosy." She added carefully, in case her questions had annoyed him.

Ryuu thought it was quite odd that the girl had said sorry to him, she wasn't bothering him at all. Ryuu had a curious look on his face when she had tapped him,"Excuse me, and I'm sorry if I'm prying, but are you a Moon student?" the girl asked while clasping her hands behind her back. I smiled " Aha yes you're correct I am a moon student" Ryuu said playfully," ..and it's no bother at all" he added while giving a soft smile.

Markus was in the grand dining hall, sitting on a hair that was on a platform (kinda like Harry Potter). He was looking threw a crystal ball that he formed in his hand looking at the students. The 30 minutes were almost over and it seemed like the were getting along. Sending the crystal ball to the court yard it got between the buildings "All students report to the courtyard in T minus 10 seconds" the crystal ball said but it was the dean voice and started to count down.

Codette jumped when the voice sounded through the halls. "Well so much for making friends on the way there!" She rolled her eyes and hurried to the courtyard. Her long legs moved her quickly even though she wore heels. Arriving in the area, once again she surveyed her surroundings. Codette always took in every detail she could about what was around her.

Finx jumped when she heard the voice and hurried to find her brother and get to the courtyard. She went out and saw him standing there colse at hand and went over to him. He smiles down at her and placed his hand in hers. She felt so reasured by her brother when he was around. They stood there together waiting to her what the headmater had to say.

Ren nodded to the boy that she was talking to, and was slightly taken aback by the random voice. "Nice to meet you, I'm Serendipity!" she shouted behind her, taking off for the dining hall.

Breathing heavily, she finally arrived, taking a seat randomly somewhere.

As the headmaster's warning ran out, Ryuu ran after Serendipity "h-hey! Wait up!"Ryuu shouted as he ran after her.. "JEEZ 10 SECONDS? " Ryuu thought as he entered the dining hall. " Made it!" Ryuu exclaimed, and sighed with relief. Soon after, he spotted Serendipity and decided to take the seat next to her. "Hello again Serendipity" He said while shooting her a smile.

"Hello... you." She said, smiling back. "Please, call me Ren, and I never got your name...?" She placed her hands on the table, resting her head on them and staring off into space while making conversation.

Markus raises up from his seat and looks at the students "Welcome to the grand dining hall, this is were you're going to have all of your meals" he says walking down the steps "Now does anyone have any more questions before I start talking about why you're here?" he says looking at them.

Alix barely made it through the door when the headmaster started talking. He sat away from the group. He did this becuase he didn't feel the emotions as strongly as when he was closer. HE couldn't read minds but he might of well had that. He knew people's emotions. That is a much greater in depth personality view. Anyone could make themselves think they were happy. Only their emotions could tell if they really are.

((Could i make a sun character? I noticed their weren't a lot of Sun Students. I was thinking about making a character parallel to Alix [Marks on left arm instead of right, b ut wiht the same general abilities]))

Codette sat at the table that seemed like it was for moon students. She nibbled on her lower lip. Codette had been so sure when she arrived that making friends would be easy. It was so simple back home. Here though, she really didn't feel like she belonged. She nibbled on her thumb nail and looked around to see if there where any questions.

" Oh my name is Ryuu Ly, call me Ryu."Ryuu said in a slight whisper since the headmaster was speaking.Ryuu felt quite happy at the time so his eyes he assumed were blue. Ryuu then looked around the dining hall and spotted a girl who seemed to be so frantic or nervous.She seemed to be nibbling on her thumb and was glancing around. Though Ryuu can sense a persons emotion, he can control it.He can know a person's emotions or not, It just depended if he wanted to know.He shrugged off the urge and asked the headmaster a question. " Are there anymore Sun students coming? because it looks to me that there are more moon students"

Cecily was asleep on her work table when the doorbell rang and the door phone dropped onto her head. "Shit!" She picked up the receiver as she rubbed the slowly growing lump, "Mom, could you press the button a bit softer next time? It will ring either way..." Her mom's voice came through the tube and out the speaker "Sorry Sweetie. Are you going to come up today? I have something to talk to you about." Cecily reached over and hit a button on her lamp. The time flashed up onto the ceiling. "5:00am? Really?! You know I hate getting up when it's still dark." She sighed heavily, "I'll be right up." She hung up the phone, stood up, and stretched. Suddenly, her stomach gave a loud growl and she wrapped her hands around her middle. She thought back, trying to calculate when she ate last. She had probably been in her lab for three days now...and there wasn't much food down there. She made her way over to the reconstructed dumbwaiter and pulled open the gate. The stairs to her lab (aka her parents' basement) had rotted away years ago, so she restored the elevator.

"Have some breakfast. You haven't been up in days!" Her mom was standing by the stove, cooking bacon by the smell of it. "Yeah...I was just working on a new skateboard. It's like a regular skateboard, but with no wheels. It uses two big fans on the bottom to hover just above the ground. It's a hoverboard! Well...it will be if I ever get it to work. But! When I do you'll be able to skate over all kinds of terrain no one has ever tried before! I mean, you could even skate over water!" Her mother set a plate of bacon and eggs in front of her on the table. "That's wonderful dear, but I really do need to talk to you." Cecily looked up from her plate, her mouth full of egg, ""Yeth? Wha?" She swallowed. "Well, you got some mail yesterday, but you wouldn't answer your...what is it?" "My telecomunication bell" "Yes, your...phone." Her mom picked up a stack of mail, on top sat an official-looking envelope with a sun and moon crest on the front. She handed Cecily the envelope, "It seems to be an offer to transfer to a private school..." She cut off as Cecily yelped and dropped the envelope, clutching her hand as if it had been burned. "What was that?!" She opened her hand and found a black sun tattooed on the palm of her left hand. She only stared at it for a moment before picking the envelope up again and ripping it open. She scanned it quickly, suddenly excited. Then she looked at the date. "Shit! I'm supposed to be there today! Mom, why didn't you tell me about this sooner?!" Her mom shrugged, "Don't worry sweetie, we'll get you there." She smiled, "Finish your breakfast and we'll get you packed."

By the time she arrived, everyone seemed to be flooding into the main hall. She noticed everyone seemed to be wearing uniforms...she was going to stick out like a washer among nails. But that would have to wait. She readjusted the goggles on the top of her head, hitched up her bags and rushed up the stairs. She was the last into the hall, and not watching where she was going...first the strap of one of her bags, and then her foot, caught on the chair of a silver-haired guy who seemed to sitting away from everyone. She landed flat on her face, goggles skittering. "OOoOooOouch..." She moaned, pushing herself to her knees. She checked to make sure her nose wasn't bleeding before reaching for her goggles and resetting them on her head. Suddenly, she realized that when she fell she had probably pulled the student's chair a good six inches out of place. She whipped around, eyes wide and looked up at him, a hot blush rising in her cheeks. "I am SO sorry! I hope I didn't hurt you...or your stuff...or your clothes...!" She quickly started gathering up her fallen possessions, "I...I can leave! I'm sorry!" She started getting to her feet but her foot caught in the strap of one of her other bags and she was sprawled on the floor again.
