Markus Reece made this school years ago when he fought out that he could control powers under the sun and moon. He made this school for the special children who had magical abilities under the sun and moon. So they can stop being teased for being special, so they can stop hiding, so they finally have control over their powers. So they can live a happy life with no fear.

Dear Student,

It is our pleasure to welcome you to this school. As you know, we pride ourselves in creating the finest of students. But, what you might not have known is that we specialize in creating two types of students. The students of the sun and the students of the moon.

Upon your arrival you will be sorted into the proper house. Come with your best attitude and be prepared for a fun-filled school year. We wait your arrival.

1. Follow all rules Mene and ours
2. This is a Lit RP forum, please post a paragraph or more. It's ok to write a couple of sentences if you can't think of anything but don't do it all the time.
3. Pm Profiles to either me or Wavikz
4. NO GOD MODDING!!!
5. No one else can control the Sun and Moon but Markus
6. Your character will have a mark on them when their powers start working. It would either be a sun or moon. It should show up right after they receive the letter.
7. Fighting is allowed but please make sure you have talk to the person that you want to fight and then come talk to me or Wavikz.
8. Keep it PG-13.
9. You can have up to 3 characters, so it would be easy on everyone.
10. You can be human, vampire, werewolf, angel, etc. But don't go overboard please.
11. If you have any questions then post in the OOC thread or pm me or Wavikz.
12. Oh yes I forgot one thing, this school is from 5th grade to College. So make your character's age some where between there. Staff doesn't count.

When Markus was a kid, he would always be up from the time the sun rose and he would fall asleep once the moon broke the surface. He thought it was weird at first but he got used to it. He always had a connection to the Sun and the Moon. And then one day he was playing out in the field since his family used to own a farm and he made fire in his hands. He screamed and then almost burned the field down. His parents kept him from outside by locking him up in the basement. There was a small window in there to let in little sun light. He sat by that window for hours. And that same night he fought out that he had powers of the moon. For the rest of his life he practiced and practiced so he was able to control his powers. And then one day, he was in his early twenties he thought what if there were more people who were just like him? He wanted to him help them. So that's why he made "The School that lays under the Sun and Moon"

my past is what drives me . . .
I was born into a proverished family. I was the youngest of seven children. My mother and father were overwhelmed by us. My mother was always under the influence and my father was never there. We took care of ourselves. My older siblings were in and out of the house very often and most of my childhood is obscure blur. When I sleep I get flashes of my younger life. One thing that always comes clearly, the night my mother sold me to get her fix. I remember that night as clear as day. Mainly because I often slept during the day. I remember my oldest brother, Johnny, mentioning me being nocturnal. Anyway, I was 8 when I was dragged out of my bed by my mother. After being sold things begin to blur again. Then I remember night when I sent the people around me screaming in fear. I was alone until my eighteenth birthday. The events of that night are also shrouded in mystery. Despite my strange powers I spent the rest of my life trying to be normal. While I was in college an ex of mine kindly asked about the tattoo on my left shoulder blade that I never knew about. After graduating I searched it and found this school. I am a of the Moon, and that explains my odd ability to manipulate the shadows.

I am a semi quiet person. I try to keep to myself as much as possible. Even at 25 I am now learning how to control my powers so I am very afraid of hurting those around me.

I like to cook. It calms me. Especially baking. I also like to read before I fall asleep.

Complete darkness or too much light. Too much lights hurts me and total darkness weakens and terrifies me.

my past is what drives me . . .
Up until his teens he was almost always singing and trying to find new tunes, which often got him into trouble once he got to school. Seeing his musical urges his parents, desperate to fix his school problems, gave him a violin, which he picked up very easily, when he turned thirteen. After seeing how fast he learned to play the new device they started giving him more instruments, cello, flute, baritone, trumpet, percussions, and a guitar. He only ever had trouble with guitar, and still does have the same single issues. He looked multiple colleges, but none of them seemed fit for what he wanted to do. Until he turned 30 he was left alone in an apartment building, playing piano to keep the rent and pay for food. Once he turned 30 he was given an invitation to teach at a school he'd never heard of before. Accepting the offer to be a music teacher he moved to the school to work.

He's a bright and cheerful person with a long good temper, but don't try to get on his bad side. He seems to be followed by music, especially when he feels any strong emotions. The air around him always seems to be calm and soft.

He's typically a fun teacher and always seems to be in love with his students, who don't know he's bi, but isn't actually attracted to them. He's able to play any and every instrument he comes into contact with, except the guitar.

I was made fun of alot in my old schools mainly because of the color of my eyes. I lived with my mom, dad, and older brother int a small house in a forest just so we could stay out of sight as much as possilble. When my parents found out about this school they couldnt wait to get rid of us. I mean send us there with the hopes of keeping us safe. of course My brother got to go first being a year behind him I had to wait.

My mother died when I was 3. It was a normal thing, just a car accident. It was her fault, she pulled out in front of someone who was driving something a lot bigger than our car. I wasn't there, thank goodness, and her death was instant.

My father went into a spiraling depression for a year or two, but when he started going to therapy, it really helped him out. He even started dating again, but hasn't been able to keep onto a long term girlfriend.

I don't remember my mother, only from pictures. But my dad raised me just fine.

I'm a bit of a tomboy because of being raised by my father. I don't like dresses and I would never be caught dead in a skirt of any kind. I don't do a lot of talking, but I'm not shy either. I'm brutally honest, and will tell you the truth (as long as you ask first) even if it's going to hurt your feelings.

Thankfully, the exhaustion from turning into an animal doesn't hit me until I'm human again. I also can't just say *poof* I'm an animal. From an early age, Cecily has been a constant tinkerer. She took apart her father's power drill at the age of 3 and her mom's coffee maker at the age of 8. As she grew older she began to realize that she could see the schematics of gadgets in her mind's eye. She began building contraptions with functions only she understood. At the age of 17 she was walking home from school when two men in a black van stopped beside her and pulled her into the back seat and began to drive away. Naturally, she screamed. But that was where normalcy ended. When she screamed the gages on the car went crazy. The engine overheated, the brakes failed, and the car careened off the road into a pole. The machine was totaled to the point that no ordinary person could have possibly survived. But when the EMTs extinguished the fire and were able to cut away the twisted metal, they found Cecily curled up in a miraculously untouched pocket of debris. This was the beginning of her awakening. Not long afterwards, near her 18th Birthday, she received a strange letter offering her a spot at The School.

Friendly, if a little strange. She enjoys the company of machines and will always have at least one gadget on her at all times. She is a bit obsessed with "improving" preexisting gadgets, which often involves taking them apart and then reassembling them in some almost unrecognizable fashion. This wouldn't always be a problem, but sometimes she gets so excited that she forgets to ask the original owner if they actually want it improved. She often gets so engrossed in her current project that she neglects other things, like eating or going to class. Other humanoids sometimes confuse her, making her kinda awkward in social situations.

I was born to a mother who couldn't keep him. I was put into a foster home very young. I lived with a family of gymnist for a long time and thus gained a love for parkour, or freerunnig. I common free ran to school and found it quite easy. I could jump further and run faster than normal. This was all right with I. I naturally had a lot of friends, but never became attached to anyone. Something was missing, like a second halve of me somewhere else.

All Alix knows is that he was born on the winter solstice, the darkest day of the year. HE knew his name because of the tag his mother had left with him. He has lived in a string of foster homes and orphanages until he was fifteen, when he became an independent, via appeal. He didn't attend school because he had to work. He wasn't dumb though. He knew a lot but found that a he got older normal food could sustain him. Sitting at his desk, Markus looks out of the giant window that was in his office looking out into the lake that they were by. Smiling he looks at the letters that were on his desk. They were ready to be sent out. Standing up she brushes a small strand of hair out of his eyes and grabs all the letters. He goes down into the mail room. But it wasn't like a mail room that you would see in the human world. It was a magical mail room, it could send anything in a blink of a eye. Loading the letters into a machine in the center of the room, he presses a button and then disappear. In their search to find the children of the Sun and Moon.

Codette slowly awoke, the sunlight filtering through her bedroom window. With a groan and a curse, she threw her pillow at the window. "STUPID MORNING!" she growled through bleary eyes. Reaching up to pull the heavy velvet curtains closed, Codette got up and got dressed in a simple deep blue tank top and jeans. Pulling her hair into a messy bun she made her way down stairs for breakfast.
"Good Morning Codette"
"Nothin' good about it mom...." She yawned getting a glass of juice. "ehh, why do I have to be awake during the day anyways?"
"Codette..." her mother warned waving a letter.
"Mom what do you have in your hand?"
"Oh! Your father and I were doing some research for a new school for you. I don't recall sending anything out, but you got a letter from a 'School Under the Sun and Moon'. Sounds mysterious... Sounds Prestigeous! Sounds just right!"
Codette sighed and read the letter. She couldn't deny her intrigue. It did sound mysterious... But was that really worth leaving everything... Not that her parents would give her the choice.
"Well Codette?"
"Sounds great mom. I can't wait." Codette slipped on the fake smile she reserved for her parents. That sweet, innocent, obedient smile that she had been using for years to agree with anything her parents wanted her to do.
Heading up to her room she lifted her pant leg to see what had been bothering her ankle while she was reading the letter. Codettes eyes widened in shock as she saw an odd moon tattoo on the outside of her ankle. "that wasn't there before..." she murmured worried.

He said with a smile on his face a very rare sight. "What are you talking about?" She asked. "We have been invited to go to the school under the sun and moon." He hands her hers. She evamined it and then opened it. "I've been exepted to the sun." She felt this hot felling on her arm and looked to see that her star tattoo was now a sun. Her brother frowned "Well I've been exepted to the moon part of the school." He observed after opening his letter. His frowned deepened and he pulled up his sleeve showing that a moon had appeared atop the flames on his arm.

Going back into his office, Markus sits down at his desk looking out the great window looking out towards the lake. "Now we wait" he says softly smiling. They shall arrive on the lunar eclipse, which was also his birthday and 2 days away.

Getting up once more he walks threw the school halls. He looks at the classrooms for the Sun students and then the Moon. He was excited. This was the first year that the school would be opening and hopefully that they could come back the next year. Walking outside he goes to the dorm rooms. The sun building had a sun symbol hanging above the door. The moon building had a moon. Smiling he walks into the sun doom standing in the middle of the building. There were two stair cases. Girls on the left, boys on the right. This was the same with the moon. Walking into the boys hall, the uniforms where folded neatly on their beds with their books on their desks. It was the same as in the moon building.

Ren was sleeping, the sun barely peeking over the horizon. She usually was a morning person, but the sound of her dog, Anubis, going crazy is what brought her out of her slumber today. She woke up slowly, blinking back the sun that was pouring through her white, lacy curtains. Her dog was still going insane, scratching at the door and having a fit. She groaned, threw back her embarrassingly girly bedspread and opened the door for him. "Bloody dog..." She mused, stretching her muscles slowly.

Walking down the hallway, she heard snores coming from her fathers room. He had work in two hours, and was probably trying to get the last bit of forty winks before heading into the daily grind. Ren got out the supplies to make him his lunch. She didn't do it every day, but she tried to do it once or twice a week. After a fairly decent but simple lunch of a bologna sandwich and an apple was shoved away in a plain brown paper bag, she made a b-line for the bathroom, doing her morning ritual of washing her face, brushing her teeth, and getting changed.

She threw on a white tank-top, simple black pants and a pair of sandals. She usually did her morning jog, but today she didn't feel like it. However, she didn't want to be cooped up in the house, so she donned a pair of shades, and opened the front door, promptly stepping on the mail. She groaned and bent over, picking it up gingerly. Thankfully her shoes had been fairly clean, so no obnoxious print on the mail today.

The mail only had one letter, addressed to her. She was slightly confused, she was pretty sure that the mail didn't come until at least noon, but she shrugged and opened it up. Her eyes darted back and forth quickly, re-reading the letter twice over before furrowing her brow. It sounded nifty and all, but just too good to be true. Her father probably sent away for it, he always knew how much she hated regular school. Nodding to herself, she was resolved to go, as long as it wasn't some joke or hoax.

As she was folding the letter she noticed a sun tattoo emblazoned on the inside of her left wrist. She scratched at it, as it was itching like nobodies business and sighed dramatically. Her dog now padded back into the room, wagging it's tale with its tongue lolling out. "Guess I'm going to a new school" She said, trying to hold her excitement back.

Angel had just gotten to the school after reading the letter that came to his cabin, he lives by himself, less pain that way he found. He was delighted to finally be able to meet people as different as him, most of the reason he did want to come here. He found the school to be quite eleagant, nice architexture, and amazing affect to it, he thought. He knew he would like it here, and would try his best not to get into trouble here, his other school he was kicked out of a couple days before, for him fighting too much, but he didn't get picked on by the same people twice that was for sure.
