As Haru kept on eating his food the more guilty he felt, mostly listening to Tok's and Darren's conversation about meat and dragons. He wasn't the type to talk in conversations since he wasn't really much of a talker. After a few moments Haru picked up his plate and went to throw away his food since he felt really guilty for eating meat in front of Darren. When Haru came back he came with a little chocolate cookie and handed it to Darren, "Sorry 'bout that."

Rika grinned when Lanalee came with them to eat dinner, and she was excited to make some new friends. When the Rika walked into the cafeteria she could smell the meat tainting the air with it's scent, but more importantly is there any desserts? The angel giggled after hearing Leon's question, she nodded, "Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if a grand school like this also had grand food as well..." Rika got quiet when she saw the item she was looking for in the cafeteria, "Cake..." Rika suddenly went into a dreamlike state as she slowly walked over to the dessert table and go herself a slice of strawberry shortcake, and then sat down where Lanalee was.

Darren watched as Haru got up and threw out his food. "You didn't have to do that. I've grown used to it." He shrugged. "But thank you for the cookie." He smiled up at him before taking the cookie. He looked at it for a moment then sniffed. Store bought. Darn. "I wonder who made all this food? And if it will be like this every night." He bit into the cookie. Well at least it is a good store bought cookie.

Tok thought about that for a bit, who actually made all this?
"I know that there's a grocery store next to the train station, I picked up food there after arriving at the stop. It's pretty well-stocked, so that's probably where they got all the raw foods and stuff." She said. It was the most reasonable answer. Unless the school had some underground artificial farm, which was just another reason to explore the place. "As for it being every night, I don't think there's anything special about a Wednesday... It is Wednesday, right?" Now then she mentioned it, where wasn't any exact dates/calendars anywhere around school. All the boards said was the supposed month and the weather condition. "That's a little strange..." She thought out loud.

Leon laughed a little watching Rika make her way to the cake almost like a hypnotized victim. It was kind of cute the way she totally lost her thought with the sight of it. He had finished what he wanted on his tray and made his way over to the two of them, sitting himself down.
"This is better then the meals I used to eat at home," He said, "That's pretty unusual for a cafeteria like this."

Lanalee eyed the cake that Rika was hypnotized by. "Does cake taste good? I can't really taste well...it's like when you have a stuffed nose, you can't taste as good because your nose is stuffed. Except my nose is fine." Lanalee sighed. This was one of the bad points about being a vampire like her. She missed out on all the food, which her creator had told her was always delicious. The only thing she could taste was blood, which is why she liked it so much...but they probably didn't serve that here, right?

Darren thought about it for a moment. "I don't remember the store but I wasn't really paying attention. I was too busy shivering in my coat. As far as I know it is." He looked over at the food but he didn't see anyone else other then students. He sniffed the air but couldn't tell much with all the food scent. "I kind of miss having adult supervision. I wish someone would tell us what is going on."

"That would be kind of nice," Tok admitted, seeing only students and that one lady who kept appearing in and out of the kitchen. "But you have to admit this whole place is like a 'no questions asked' hostile rather than a school." It was safe to assume they also had connection to the internet and stuff here if they needed it, she saw people at the train station on their phones.
Although the place seemed deserted, the map did say that there was a town about 20 miles east that you could only get there by train. That was the main reason people even went to this station, not everyone was headed to this school. "Had a lot of supervisors at your old school then, I'll assume?" She asked.

"It does seem that way. And not really. We had the normal teachers and one security man. They just tended to stand outside to watch the students when classes weren't on. Being anywhere on the campus you could find a teacher pretty fast." He spun his empty plate around a few times then sighed. "I just tend to get bored. Suprisingly, at least for others, I like knowing what I have to do. Really it isn't that suprising. Can't imagine not snapping to attention when a dragon or a demon tells you to do something."

Haru shook his head, "Nah, it's ok. I was going kind of crazy for a bit there with all that meat." he watched Darren eat the cookie and grinned a little when Darren accepted the cookie. It was kind of the first time someone accepted something from Haru, since he was a weakling in his family and everybody didn't like him. But until recently he learned control on some part of his powers. Haru listened to Darren and Tok's conversation about who made all of the food, he thought maybe a witch made them all or a fairy godmother. And yes, Haru has met one in New York City. But he kept that to himself. Soon the two started talking about schools and teachers, "I haven't been in a school before since my family kicked me out..."

Rika nodded at Lanalee and smiled with bits of icing stuck onto her cheek, "Cake is VERY delicious. It's like God's gift from above and he brought down the most holiest type of cake ever!! Strawberry shortcake!!!" she exclaimed and continuing gobbling up her cake. Rika has a very big sweet tooth. But for some reason the cake sort of tasted funny, like something wasn't right. And as always Rika ignored it and kept on eating her cake like a pig. While Rika ate, she listened to what Leon said about the cafeteria and nodded but kept on eating.

Darren turned to look at Haru. He still couldn't believe that parents could treat their children like that. And yet he had two people here that did not have good relationships with their parents. "That's kind of funny since I only went to school after I left my parents. I am sorry to hear about your parents though. I can't imagine not having a strong relationship with my parents. They might scare me and force me into things but they are good parents." He really looked at Haru and wished he could help him with his parents.

"At least you got that going for you, I wish my mum kicked me out a long time ago." Tok said in regard to the comment about parent-child relations. She hadn't heard much from Haru, now that she noticed, on anything up until now. Silent fellow, wasn't he?
"I never really had an experience of being told what to do when it comes down to it. So I don't know whether or not to call your life better off." She explained to Darren, "No supervisors or frightening dragons and stuff to keep me focused," I just had to sit there and wait till they stopped throwing stones. If my mom had let me go earlier I would have never been blamed for that child's death. She cursed under her breath. Memories that were almost as bad as rats stopped her from eating altogether. Am I really this bothered by it? It wasn't even my fault! "Dammit!" Tok suddenly shouted, reeling her head in in a mixture of confusion and anger. When she realized what she had done, and the stares it received, she lowered her head back down to the table with an embarrassed blush. Even Lucifer was afraid to go near her.

Darren was suprised by Tok's outburst but wasn't scared of her. She was a fire witch after all. She might burn his clothes and maybe his hair but fire couldn't hurt him. He stayed still then looked over at her. "I wonder if they have a gym here. It sounds like we could all use something to work our anger and nerves off on." He placed his head on his hand and sat looking at the both of them.

Tok mumbled, "That would be nice", she was mumbling more than she had in a lifetime, but wasn't focusing on that. She still couldn't get over the fact she made a huge deal out of something as insignificant as old memories. It was just one little thing, and certainly not something to yell over. How embarrassing. "I think I just want to take a nap. Goodnight."
She put her head face down on the table, resting her eyes.
Just forget about it for now, there is absolutely nothing to make a big deal over... And surprisingly, maybe it was because she had exhausted all her energy coming over to this school in the first place, she actually fell asleep. Tok was a deep sleeper, after all, and the room was warm enough for anyone to feel cozy after eating.

Darren almost laughed when Tok simply put her head down and went to sleep. He looked over at Haru and shrugged before getting up and putting his dishes and her's away. He went back to Haru to see what he wanted to do.

Haru laid his head on the table staring at the little speck of dust that seem to be there, he felt exhausted from all that flying from earlier. Then he heard Tok plop down on the table and heard her breathing slowly and Haru realized that she fell asleep. Haru heard Darren coming over and Haru immediately sat up and started rubbing his eyes. Sometimes he felt more like a cat more than a bird. "Yo." Haru whispered yawning, he wanted to talk some more no matter how exhausted he is, "How's it goin'?"

Aysel, startled by Tok's outbust, quickly turned her head from her food to face their table, confused. She then shook her head a little, dismissing her curiosity, and quietly went back to eating. When she was done, she wiped her mouth with her napkin, folded it onto her plate, then got up to get rid of her dirty dishes. Then, adjusting her coat so that it would fit more snugly against her, hoping that that would keep her warm, she headed out the door, jogging. Instead of heading back to the dormitories, however, she decided to do a loop around the rest of the campus.

((can we just assume that the abandoned building was turned into a gym by previous students? and that it can also be used to practice thier powers amongst themselves if they want to?))

it was just after toks outburst that Gael decided to find the gym herself, wanting to find somewhere quiet, and it was her experience that most people didn't go to the gym on the first day. picking up her tray she set it in the reciever for it, after dumping the trash, before heading out and away from the boiling mass of energy that threatened to over whelm her. tired of pushing through the snow she decided to use some of the enrgy, and directed it at the snow in front of her melting a path through the snow.

it took a little longer than she thought it would to find the gym, despite it being within easy walking distance. still she couldn't help but sigh in relief when she stepped inside and heard and felt almost nothing. finding the light switch, she turned it on and was surprised by the blacked out windows, and the variety of equipment and rooms for play and excercise. her gaze roamed over the myriad of upper and lower body building equipment, as well as yoga mats, and diagrams. her gaze continued to the few doorways leading down stairs to what she assumed was other rooms like this one.

finding the room a comfortable temperature, she smiles as she strips off her jacket and tie. not feeling the need to remove her pants or shirt, she does undo her top two buttons, before walking over to one of the yoga mats. "perfect time to meditate and get rid of some of the excess energy" she did have some experience with dispelling the energy that always seemed to attack her, allowing her to be near one or two people at one time, but too many at once, or too strong of emotions could still get her, as it had in the dorms, and almost had at the cafeteria. "what kind of a freak am i that i can't even be around other people for fear of hurting them. i hope this school can help me, before its too late, and i do kill someone, instead of permantly injuring them." she still hadn't forgotten when she had discovered her powers and how the towns people looked at her, let alone what her mother had told her the night she had left. "well never again if i can help it." she promises softly to herself before she begins to meditate.

Darren chuckled to himself. He managed to make two friends then immeditaly make them both fall asleep. "It seems that we have had a busy day. Maybe we should head back to our rooms and call it a night?" He made it a question as he didn't want to force him even if he was about to fall asleep. He was tired too but it wasn't from the walk. It was that he hadn't gotten used to the cold.

Since everyone seems to be wrapping up, I vote there is a time skip to morning! The weather is mild, and it's around 8AM. Classes start at 9~))

Tok woke up with a jolt, looking around to see where she was. Strange, she had remembered falling asleep in the cafeteria but she was back in her dull room. Someone must have carried her back after dinner, since she wasn't the kind of person who was awoken easily. If anyone had tried to get her up she'd probably bite or claw them before sleeping again. I feel sorry for whoever carried me back in the snow... She thought, but didn't actually feel that bad about it.
"Morning, Lucifer." She grumbled, rolling out of bed onto the floor with a soft thud. Still a bit groggy, Tok made her way over to the dresser. Outside her window showed the dull morning light leaking through the layer of clouds. The weather wasn't going to be freezing today at least, so she'd have an easier time getting to class.
That's right, She thought, I'm not actually going to class, am I? Tok laughed at herself. Yes, today she planned on ditching to go exploring.

Gael woke from her meditation frowning. she was surprised that she had remained in meditation that long, and she was glad that she hadn't been chanced upon. standing up she groaned as tight muscles protested her moving after sitting in the same place for so long. sighing she looked at the roof-to-floor mirror and almost decided to forgo class. but she shook her head, and hurried out into the cloud-covered morning and up to her room to straiten her hair, glad that she kept it short and easy to handle. brushing her teeth to get rid of the morning breath, she splashed her face with water to startle her into alertness. grabbing her clothes off the edge of the bed she managed to remember to grab her key, before heading out the door and down the hall.

((ok, to the time skip, and little, don't you think it would be funny if tok ran into my very withdrawn girl?))

((Urgh... I won't be on as much as I used too so I'll only be posting on the weekends orz..))

Haru woke up in his boring beige colored room and looked outside his window, it was morning. But before Haru went to bed, he woke up an hour later after Darren left and started to take a nap. While napping in the cafeteria, he saw that Tok was still sleeping. So, Haru did what any gentleman would do. Carry the girl back to bed. The tengu stretched and thought about what he was going to do today.

After Rika finished her fifth plate of strawberry shortcake, she walked back to the dorms and went into her sky blue room and collapsed on her bed. When the little angel woke up she saw the snow falling gently to the morning ground as it slowly made another layer of snow. Rika yawned and walked to the window and drew a smiley face with her finger, "So, what am I doing today?"

Darren woke up and slowly detangled himself from the pile of pillows, blankets, and one coat on the floor. He had gone back to his room and tried to sleep in his bed but just couldn't. He had grown up in a cave and was still used to hard surfaces. So he had pulled the blanket and pillow of the bed and threw them on the floor. He had still been cold so he had brought over his coat too. I need to buy some more covers.

He slowly stood up and bent all over trying to pop all of his joints. Finally he stopped and went to the dresser. He pulled a drawer open and pulled out a new oufit that looked much like the one he had worn the day before. What do I do now?

He left his room and walked down the hall but once he reached the door he stopped. Instead of leaving he sat and leaned against the wall.

Tok dressed pretty warmly, in a dark coat and yellow scarf that matched her eyes. Since her body was short, the coat stretched down father then it would on a regular-sized person, ending just slightly above her knees. It wasn't the girl's fault, she was tiny and the coat itself was two sizes too large. Tok was even sure it was a man's coat to begin with.
Letting Lucifer slither up onto her shoulder she set outside into the hallways. She was still yawning, stretching her neck a little as she walked. I never even checked the time before I left, the snake girl thought, I wonder what the---
thud.
Tok jolted back into focus, surprised she somehow managed to be on the floor. "What the..." then she looked up to find the blur of another person standing before her. Apparently, not even paying much attention, Tok had ran into her by mistake. She blushed heavily for a moment, not liking it when she did klutzy things, then blurted "Oi, w-what are you doing just standing there?" Or maybe she was walking as well, Tok didn't care. Still anxiously waiting to find an excuse to run off, running into someone was embarrassing! If she really thought about it, Tok had been almost nothing but a klutz her first day here. Was there something wrong with this school? Or just herself?

((oh she would want, she was debating doing that just before she left for breakfast))

the impact had startled her out of her daze that she had been in. after grabbing a bit to eat she had gone back to her room to grab her spheres, when wham! the impact of slamming into something, or rather someone when she thought about it slammed her into reality. surprised that her sense of energies hadn't warned her she was not alone, she looked down at the petite thing, a female she realized, still somewhat stupefied, until she was jolted again by the outrage in the females voice.

"oh, sorry, i didn't see you there, here let me help you up." forgetting that she didn't touch people because of the effects she reached out her hand, realizing what she had done too late. bracing herself for her touch she used the time to study the female when she realized that she had seen her in the hall earlier yesterday evening. "hold on, your the girl who is in the room across from mine, the one with the snake in her clothes? is he hurt?" Gael was sincerely concerned as again, she loved animals, merely because they don't have all the violent energy that most people do. ((if you couldn't tell she doesn't really believe that there is a difference between people, and that all are basically the same.))

Ah. She's polite. "I got it." Tok said as she helped herself up, dismissing the hand politely. She felt a little bad for barking at her the first time, she hadn't expected anyone to be automatically nice here. Lucifer poked his little head out of her scarf, telling everyone that he was unharmed. "He says he's just fine. But yes, I'm Tok, I think I might have seen you before." Tok squinted her eyes, trying to make out who this person was. She had seen that color of hair before, probably just yesterday when she was talking to someone else.
"Like snakes or something?" She asked, normally people would be unconcerned for a reptile such as Lucifer. Especially since many people, even snake lovers, would claim that he's 'just fine' almost after everything. Even Tok took him for granted sometimes, since he seemed like a immortal friend to her.

Vara smiled grateful at not having to touch her though she was puzzled that she still didn't get much more of an energy signature from the female then she was getting from animals. as Tok told Vara her name, and that the snake is fine, she smiled slightly though a little puzzled. "he says?" she thought to herself while out loud she spoke softly "thats good then, and its nice to meet you, my name is..." she pauses at this point not wanting to sprout her whole name so instead opts for "um... Vara, whats your snakes name?" she obviously couldn't hear the snake speaking though she did know that animals had their own language, so she assumed that Tok merely learned how to speak with this one.

hearing the question that Tok posed to her Vara smiles and says "or something" while looking down at her hands. Vara was now starting to get a little nervous as she hadn't talked to someone this nice for quite a long time, and wasn't quite sure of how to act.
