Jake took a drink of water. "So how come you moved here?" he asked anniebelle.

"Diplomatic reasons, mainly because I had recently come into fire because I was the youngest wolf on the council and I'm the Daughter of the head of the council. My mere existence is rather troubling, some wolves from rogue packs consider me better off than the rest of my people, I was only raised better in the ways of our people, and only given what I need to survive by my Father. My Mother is the one that spoils me--she's a blue blood, and my Fathers a wolf," Anniebelle's facial expression changed as she spoke, she thought of her Mother, she really did miss her.

"is she gone or something? your face changed when you talked about her" he asked.

Alyssa put her hand on Annies shoulder silently, then she turned to Alex, "Do you play any instruments?"

"i play the drums and i can play the flute" he said.

"I like drummers. I'm rather good at vocals. Or so Annie tells me."

"really? will ya sing a few notes" he asked.

"I haven't seen my Mother face to face in over twelve years, I was supposed to get to see her on my eighteenth birthday, those plans were long forgotten and replaced with a displacement of my home...my Father was supposed to turn her when I was a child, but never did--something about purity or something never understood why he kept me from my Mother...an Alpha Female is supposed to raise her Pup," She shrugged, "Being young and leading your own people is one of the most difficult tasks life can throw at you.."

Alyssa blushed, looking around the crowed messhall, "I dont sing in public... I'm too shy."

"i'll make you a deal. When we finish eatin, we go to the music room. If you sing i will play for you" alex said.

"oh so you have never seen your mom? that must be hard" he said.

"But..." Alyssa turned as red as a clowns nose, "I don't know..."

"come on it will only be me and you in there" he said.

"The last time I've seen or heard from her was when I was six years old," Anniebelle spoke softly, as she slid her plate out from in front of herself. Anniebelle laid her head on his shoulder, looking up at him, "At least I have you, there's always the hopes of starting a family...I guess.."

"if you want" he said with a small smile. He put one of his arms around her to comfort her.

"After my Senior year, I am to return to Romania, so my Father says..You will be returning with me I suppose, then we can start thinking about Pups," she spoke, grinning softly. "I guess telling Papa about my warm companion won't be so hard.."

"why would he be mad about you being with me?" he asked her.

"I dont know, Alex..."

"I acted to end violence, I was supposed to abstain a 'normal human life', though that never seems to happen, I'm an over-protective Alpha...and trouble always seems to find me," Anniebelle chuckled..

"come on i want to hear you sing" he said.

'same her ei am always in trouble" Jake said.

"Promise you won't laugh at me?" Alyssa finished her bacon and cleaned off her plate.

"i promise" he said.
