Nassii blushed and smiled so big that it took in his eyes. "It sounds simple, but in practice I have more trouble." Finishing his drink, he glanced about the hall to see how much time they had left. "But I suppose I'll get more practice here. I read that a certain amount of flying is mandatory..."

Her quizzical eyes captured his interest for several long moments before he went on. "So - ah... What sort of things are you interested in, then? Other than quiddich that is..?"

"Yes, Cassi," she paused, then letting her continue to speak. "Sure we can share spells--I bet there are some we could share between the two of us. Fang should be feed at least once a week, he still seems rather full, I used to do a lot of research on the as a child. I do think sharing spells would be rather fun, it's something to do to pass the time away until tryouts. That and we could go up to the Slytherin house settle into the Common Room and light a fire in the fireplace--show each other there.."

Anniebelle set Cassi down gently on her feet, so that they could walk back to there house.

"I'm glad to see my little Perfect's finally ready to start hatching the wonderful ideas we wrote about over the Summer," Evonka spoke softly as she trailed behind Alyssa. "You know, with the outline of that spell we could probably work together to write our own. Spells and potions normally ware off, but if we enchanted a sheet or a large cloak--that would work perfectly...though a large cloak would be rather useful--and that's something a part of the Deathly Hallows--an invisibility cloak. The Elder wand was practically destroyed by Voldemort..and I think the Resurrection Stone was long lost...."

"Well I like nature. My favorite class is Cara of Magical Creatures. I'm also fairly good at Transfiguration." She turned fully to him, revealing that her other eye is not gold but its blue. "And between you and me," She leaned down and whispered in his ear. "I wish that students were aloud in the Forbidden Forest. I hear that there are unicorns there."

"Miss Perfect wouldn't sneak out with you to go to Hogsmeade. She would have stayed safely in the great Hall with everyone else." She heard mention of the story of the Three Brothers. "Rumor had it that it was Dumbledore that was the wielder to the Elder wand during the battle that's in the updated Hogwarts: A History"

Allowing Annie to lead like usual, Cassi followed dutifully to the Slytherin Dungeon, crawling in behind her through the wall. The Common Room was surprisingly empty, but still incredibly spooky. Shuddering, Cassi sent Sparky into the fireplace. "Fire please?" she asked, her voice hissing in Parseltongue. He responded with a yes, breathing a burst of fire that sent the wood ablaze quickly. Of course, he crawled in afterwards, but that was fine.

"D-Do y-you w-want t-to g-go f-first?" Cassi asked, curling up into the armchair, the trench coat hanging off the back. She would if asked, of course, but she wasn't one to start things off. While she waited though, she pulled out her sketchbook, starting on another project. It was just a simple piece, but Cassi worked her hardest on everything she did, at least in art.

Evonka chuckled, "I still don't even understand how you were even able to become a Perfect with you track record. It is true Dumbledore was the wielder of the Elder Wand, I've always wondered how he even acquired it myself. I know there is truth to the story of the Three Brother's. The invisibility cloak is rather easily acquired, but what about the chances of a second Elder Wand or another Resurrection Stone..."

Anniebelle went and sat in the armchair next to her, "Well, there's the cheering charm, the Colour-Change Charm, Confundo, Expelliarmus, the Patronus Charm, Ferula, Finite Incantatem, Incarcerous, Incendio, Lumos, Mobiliarbus, Mobilicorpus, Nox, Pack, Petrificus Totalus, Reducio, Reparo, Riddikulus, Serpensortia, the Slug-Vomiting Charm, Tarantallegra." She paused, racking her brain for anymore charms, curses, or spells, realizing she had mentioned all she knew. "That's all I know of, and I do do a lot of studying so maybe I can tell you more later on. What about you are there any others you know?

Alyssa laughed. "Because I never got caught." She stared intently at the book, coming across a good hex. She jotted it down on a piece of parchment, then continued reading.

Listening intently, Cassi nodded. She had heard of most of them, but a few stuck out at her like neon signs. "I-I o-only kn-know a-a f-few th-that y-you d-didn't m-mention," Cassi responded, thinking. "Th-There's Contego, Mucrendium, Ferronia, Ingemino, Umbquesi, Vigoratus, Levitas, Aspicio, Caliga, Caliga Oscuren, Legilimency, Occlumency, Aresto Momentum, Lupivien, and Solis Byrstia."

Those were the spells and magics she knew that Annie hadn't mentioned, but she was eager to learn how to do the ones Annie knew that she didn't. "W-Will y-you t-teach m-me h-how t-to d-do s-some o-of th-those sp-spells?" she asked, eyes wide with hope. "I-I'll t-teach y-you s-some o-of m-mine."

"Sure, but I will need to know the ones you don't know--otherwise it's pretty much back to square one," she chuckled, "I have no clue what the ones you speak or really are, but there's no time like the present to learn, I guess. If you want to get started with a few of them right now, we may either need a test subject or a feather. Maybe when Liliana gets out of the infirmary we can use Confundo on her along with a few other little charms and spells."

She found herself laughing at her own side comment which made herself feel rather awkward.


Evonka grinned at Alyssa and sat down beside her--examining what she was reading and writing. Leaning over to kiss Alyssa on the cheek, "A great magician never reveals their secrets, but then again you are the unsuspected being seeing that you are the Perfect, if you weren't you would be on another Gryffindor Perfect's radar."

"I like snow, but, this is a bit too early for it I think. Though its fun to have a snowball fight started by my brother and friends" Amber laughed "Mind if I speak with him? This is my time off from classes anyways" Amber smiled a bit. She would stay as nice as she would need to, she could only be mean if someone treated her that way too.


Xander was flirting with girls from different houses, he wasn't a fan of dating those from his own, they weren't his type, and those who were his type were most likely his friends. He wouldn't take chances with his friends as in dating them, he didn't want it to become awkward even though most would say it wouldn't. Then again, he wouldn't turn anyone away if they did ask him.

"Sure you can. While you;re here would you fancy a butterbeer or a hot tea?" She checked teh tempurature of both boys and nodded satisfactorily, signaling that they are both doing fine.

"What other prefect?" Alyssa seemed dumbstruck at that. The only other prefect was a seventh year boy. A boy that she thinks has a crush on her.

"Hot chamo tea please?" Amber asked taking the stool next to Riven and looked at him "How are you feeling Riven? Its been awhile" Amber and Riven met awhile back, Riven was always skipping classes and was able to get Amber to skip, though it may have been exciting for her first time, it was also very boring.

"You know I'm only being sarcastic," Of course she knew that there were only two Perfects--a male and a female. "I'm just trying to help bide time while I do my best to help you figure this out."

She paused beginning to rack her brain, "I've got it...maybe, by we're going to have to do some looking into it..." She grinned, kissing her girlfriend on the cheek once more, "Every time I'm around you, I get the most brilliant ideas."

"I'm fine, J-just c-cold still" Riven answered as he drank his butterbeer and slowly warmed up to it. Riven was thinking about where those kids had disappeared and died to, maybe he should just let it go, he wasn't in the mood to be stuck out again in that freezing snow. Why was it even snowing in October anyways? Who was messing with the weather spell now?

"What 'were' you doing out there anyways?" Amber asked knowing that Riven loved adventures. She couldn't understand the snow thing at all but hopefully she would fix it later on herself, or maybe with her brother's help. She had before said a spell almost with her wand pointing the wrong way, turned herself into a cat for a week.

The nurse handed Amber a warm tea."If I know anything about Riven and Chace here, they were going after the rumored ghost 'students'. You can't always believe things that you hear you know. Roumors here are just as bad as any school. Some people believe that Hagrid is a killer, you know. But it's just something that came up because hes twice the size of a normal man. I went to school with Hagrid, until he was framed. The man couldnt even kill a bug if it was living in his hut. Bless him"

((I feel that I must point out that it's temporally impossible to be October yet. :\ It's just really been bugging me. The students have slept one night, and, considering the fact that school starts in September, at least for Hogwarts, it'd only be the second day of the school year, and the first weekend. The snow was bit bothersome too, but a weather spell really gives a plausible reason for it. Again, I don't mean to be a whiner, I'm just saying.))

He hissed a thanks before devouring the food and curling up. "I-I r-really d-don't w-want t-to s-see L-Liliana a-again." She really didn't want to mention the fact that Occlumency didn't need a dummy. In fact, if Annie wanted to learn it, she would need Cassi to use Leglimency on her, which Cassi was quite hesitant to do. It required a great level of trust to even start it, and Cassi didn't want to risk it yet.

"I was only joking," Anniebelle grinned, "I could never harm another student, not unless they laid hand on you, my Foster Parents, or myself. There are dummies around the back of the school, we could got out to those. Practicing on another student can be rather dangerous, there's always a high risk that the spell could be said wrong and inflict damage however minor it may be. Let's just head out there on our brooms, we can fly through the dorm window--it would be a lot easier than walking around the school to get to the back.."

"S-Sure! Th-That w-works!" Cassi said, pulling her broom out of her hat. Then her cloak came out, and was fastened around her shoulders properly, providing a great deal of warmth. Her dragonhide gloves were next, and were promptly slipped onto her fingers. "A-And i-it's n-not s-so m-much h-hitting a p-person, a-as i-it i-is L-Liliana. Sh-She's a-awful!"

A few words of instruction to Sparky, and Cassi jumped out the window, following Annie as they spiraled down and around to the back of the castle where the targets were. Hopefully today would be a very informative day to Cassi. At the very least, it should help keep her mind off of her father's death.

Alyssa saw someting in her book that cauth her attention. She read it over a good three times and wrote something down before continuing. She didnt want to grab a new book just yet, but she also didnt want to jump around in this one.

Anniebelle headed onwards as she mounted her broom and taking off, staying within earshot's distance of Cassi, "I still need to know which ones you would like to learn--that you do not know, and anything you can teach me would be more than greatly appreciated. Deep down, I think Liliana has had problems of her own, I don't think anyone knows where she came from--or what she's been through--there's always something that causes a person to become so hardened and cold--that's what makes her seem so awful. It's like that with everyone we've all been through our own share of troubles, but getting through them is what makes us a better person."

Anniebelle continued to fly, bringing her broom to a halt in front of the training dummies, she hopped off, and laid it against the side of the building.

"Th-The P-Patronus Ch-charm, th-the c-color ch-changing ch-charm, an-and F-Finite I-Incantatem," Cassi responded, feeling excitement bubble up as she thought about learning. It was going to be awesome! But Annie's mention of Liliana brought her mood crashing down again.

"Th-That's s-still n-not a-an e-excuse t-to b-be s-so m-mean an-and n-nasty," she countered, landing her broom next to Annie's expertly. Shaking the negativity from her mind, she looked to her friend before asking, "What's first?" With that simple question, her mood started getting better. She truly was excited to learn something new.

Nassii chuckled heartily at her last statement. He didn't seem to pay too much attention to her eyes, probably because he was used to receiving a lot of attention for his oddness as well. "I like those subjects, too. You seem like quite the explorer."

"I guess you can say that." She cant tell him about her nightly runs in the Forbidden Forest. He'd either be afraid of her or would blab to the teachers. She didn't want any of that.

He pushed back his empty plate and replied. "There is nothing wrong with a little healthy exploration. My family requires such an interest... at least, in their girls. Why does the forest in particular interest you, Miss Aurora?"

"What I mean my dear Little Sister, is that if you go through life letting your troubles consume you then your soul blackens with age until you may once find the light again and feel safe as you once did as an unborn child, that closeness with the people you love is a feeling you shall never forget," she spoke softly, as a tear streaked down her face, then wiping it away.

She cleared her throat as she took out her wand, " It conjures an incarnation of the caster's innermost positive feelings, such as joy or hope, known as a Patronus--it's a protector, and a possible weapon. Patronuses shield their conjurors from Dementors or Lethifolds, and can even drive them away. They are also used to send messages."

"Expecto Patronum," Anniebelle spoke forcefully, watching the large Tiger appeared from the end of her wand. "Now, you try."
